Do ALL legendaries regenerate after beating the elite four in HGSS? I really want to know if i can afford to KO Lugia when I see it as well as KOing the dogs if i don't like their IVs.

I've been told Platinum is faster than DP. Can someone list ways in which it is faster because I haven't noticed THAT much yet aside from field movement.

If you KO a Pokemon, no matter hwat it is, you get +4 in the specified stat. So the power item for attack would give you +4 attack and +1 speed if you beat a magikarp. Pokerus still doubles this effect. So if a power item (attack) Pokemon beats a Magikarp you get +2 Speed and +8 Attack EVs.
