I think that the concept of 'introvert/extrovert' (introvert, historically, used to be a term related to homosexuality, before homosexuality was a word) is really useless and is not a good way to think of oneself. I am in some sense an introverted person, but I think that this is no excuse. If youre good at something, you will probably enjoy it, and 'socializing' takes practice to get good at like any skill. The concept of introvert/extrovert kind of implies that people are just born being good at social interaction (autism, the way it is often characterized, or rather 'over-characterized', implies that having social skills is innate, which is bull shit). It turns out that all of these things have to be learned , and thus, there is no reason why an 'autistic' person can't be very competent in social situations. And further, there are plenty of people without autism who cant talk to or empathize with people well.
