He's just so weird. Like he isn't really NECESSARY to the plot THAT much. Why is he "working" for the merovingian if he built mobil ave? Why couldn't seraph and the gang own him easily?

also yes good Star Wars reference. See, having Bruce Spence in your movie is in and of itself a reason. He's like another Gary Busey.
also tbh a LOT of people work for Merovingian that are way stronger than him. Like the twins, the vampires, and the werewolves, for example. He just has power over a lot of people somehow I guess.
Also I'm pretty sure if Seraph and company got near him they would be able to beat him while he's in The Matrix but he was able to keep them at bay with his revolver that had way more bullets than chambers somehow.
