the night's researches did unveil that someone came up with something called Nightmare 2.0 (written in -- brace yourself -- java). it's fully compatible with the modules for the previous Nightmare (why write another one then?!). i didn't find a list of module packages, however. :'(

Update. I've added the Pokemon that resist <type> section, but was unable to commit the changes to the repository due to SVN fucking up. ATM it shows Pokemon of types having relative effectiveness >= 0.5, so /dp/types/ghost would list Normal-type Pokemon too. If that's undesirable, I can set it...

Sort of seconding this. A good deal of members don't have an IRC client for whatever reason, but have the necessary runtime for a Java based client (thanks to ShoddyBattle). This can give them a chance to try out Smogon IRC!

Posting to say I'll be out of hiatus in a week (got 3 more exams left), and would get started on this as soon as possible.
