The only thing it's really good for is determining your #1 favorite poke and maybe #2 if you're lucky. #3-10 will contain some of your top 10s and some randoms that ended up there simply by virtue of not even being selected by the random poke generator until near the end.

UNFORTUNATELY clefable got pit against venusaur early, when its one of my favorites
venusaur also killed starmie ;(((

Yeah it does seem some randoms hop into your top ten but I think if you did this test like 10 times(yeah right) the average dudes in the top ten would be pretty accurate.

Just did Gen 1&2

#1 - Heracross (Again woo!)

At about 220 pokemon eliminated Pinsir began to systematically destroy a lot of my favorites like Slowbro/Graveler/Charizard/Snubbull. Haha also literally only saw Scyther once and then he made it into the Top Ten(so there are some randoms :)

Gee, I didn't know I like Farfetch'D so much. Though 4 Fire types and 5 canines isn't a terrible list. An odd amount of gen 3 but they are good gen 3 pokemon. Still, I much have picked Roserade like 15 times and it still didn't make the cut somehow.

Though, I think this would be a lot more fun if you treated it as "Who would win in a fight." Results later.

EDIT: Just did it again for gens 1-4, and it gave wayyy better results. Beautifly and Espeon should probably be traded for Zapdos and Flygon, but I still absolutely love all of these mons:
