The Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool people

Da Letter El - Severus Snape - Silencer - Killed Day 1

Dear Da Letter El, you are Severus Snape.

Naturally, I had to include an Alan Rickman character. Severus Snape is simply wonderful in terms of badassery, and there are a lot of people out there to whom that could apply. You are the most awesome staff/faculty member Hogwarts has ever had. Hands-down.

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with “Night X – Detention for <user>.” <User> will be so fatigued from the detention that he or she will be unable to post in the thread the next day.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Basic silencer, not much to say about it. Silencer+Persuader would have been godkill.

Player: Didn't do much. Didn't get his Night 0 action in because I moved the deadline up a bit due to time constraints, so he silenced himself. Amake shot him upon being lynched, and that was the end of that.


Amake - Admiral Ackbar - 1-for-1 Lynch shooter - Lynched Day 1

Dear Amake, you are Admiral Ackbar.

You are a Mon Calamarian, and a great and powerful one at that. You command the Rebel Navy, and you're famous for the line, "It's a Trap!"

When you are lynched, PM polelover44 with "Lynched - shoot <user>" <user> will be killed. Right away.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Pretty basic, taken right out of SW Mafia. He has no night role, no regular role, but shoots someone upon being lynched.

Player: Was lynched Day 1, shot a villager. Not much to say about the way he played, obviously didn't do much.


-Mind- - Captain Kirk - 2-time vigilante - Killed Night 3

Dear -Mind-, you are Captain James T. Kirk.

You are the captain of the Enterprise, and a very good one too. The only crew member more in control of his feelings is Mr. Spock, and he's a Vulcan so he has an excuse.

Twice in the game, and only twice, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - Use phazers on <user>." <User> will die.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Simple enough. Had two kills and was aligned with the village.

Player: Unfortunately, he was inspected and killed by one of the baddies. Didn't really do much, he idled all the nights because LW had no jobs for him.


hailflameblast - Han Solo - Rogue - Godkilled Day 4

Dear hailflameblast, you are Han Solo.

You are the swashbuckling mercenary hero of the Star Wars saga. You became friends with Luke Skywalker, but, being played by Harrison Ford, you are far more badass than a mere Jedi. Pfft. Who needs the Force anyway?

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - transporting goods from <user1> to <user2>." If either of the chosen users, or their teammates if they are mafia, kills you, you will be resurrected the next night. This does not apply to lynches.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Simple rogue. If the person who killed him was the person who he stalked, or (if the stalkee was mafia), one of his teammates, he gets resurrected.

Player: Raverist was subbed out because he was idle. Hailflfameblast was forced to vote for himself and failed to do so, getting him godkilled. Bad playing much?


Alchemator - Spartacus - Redirector - Lynched Day 5

Dear Alchemator, you are Spartacus.

You are the leader of the first and last slave revolt in Roman history. You have a movie about you, in which the former slaves you commanded loved you a lot. I'm sure they still do.

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with “No, <user1>, <user2> is Spartacus!” Anything <user1> does will go toward <user2> that night.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Simple redirector, it was unlimited but wouldn't work with kills.

Player: YoshiX was subbed out because he was idle, and Alch was lynched on his first day in. Just bad luck on Alch's part.


Spiffy - Ted Kennedy - Twin - Killed Night 5

Dear Spiffy, you are Ted Kennedy.

You are the awesome former senator. Upon arriving in heaven, you took Jesus's spot.

You have no night power. However, you are searching for your friend Blue Man Group. If one of you dies, the other will gain powahs.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Basic twin. When one of these two (the other being Altair) died, the other would gain killing skills.

Player: Basically just a village vote, not a very useful role lol. Didn't do much, then died.


LightWolf - Joan of Arc - Hooker - Killed Night 5

Dear LightWolf, you are Joan of Arc.

You are the Maid of Orleans. You managed to free France (all of it!) from the enemy English. Because of this, you are awesome.

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - Prove to <user> that I'm actually a woman." <User> will be staring at your ample bosom and will not be able to perform an action that night.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Basic hooker.

Player: Led the village to lynching 3 mafias, as well as causing the nighttime death of another - that's half the mafias down. Eventually died to to Eo's priority being raised by Blue_Tornado, allowing it to get past the bodyguard. Played very well, I commend him.


AlphaBravo - Theodore Roosevelt - Mayor - Lynched Day 6

Dear AlphaBravo, you are Theodore Roosevelt.

You are the most badass president of all time. Only you can look really, really badass with a mustache and a monocle. Not just with one, but with both. Also, you're the President.

You have no night power. However, because you're the president, your vote during the day counts for 2.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Basic mayor

Player: Was idle most of the game, I was about to sub him out at the end of Day 6, but he was lynched then.


Itchni - Samuel L. Jackson - Bodyguard - Killed Night 6

Dear Itchni, you are Samuel L. Jackson.

You are the badass actor of life. One of your many roles is Mace Windu in the second Star Wars trilogy – numbers 1, 2, and 3. You are the single most badass black actor of all time, except Morgan Freeman, and that's saying quite a lot.

Due to your many roles in action films, you have a supply of bulletproof vests. Each night, you may PM polelover44 with “Night X – giving bulletproof vest to <user>.” All attempts on <user>'s life will fail that night.

Role: Simple BG

Player: Was on LightWolf, then Finn. Died because wolf killed him.


Game Freak201 - Sparta - 1-time vigilante - Killed Night 6

Dear Game Freak201, you are SPARTA!

You are the premier Greek city-state, along with your rival Athens. You featured primarily in the movie 300, out of which came the infamous line: "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

One, and only once, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - use Spartan powers on <user>." <User> will die.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Simple vigilante, only 1 kill though.

Player: Idled most of the game, but then used his one kill on Slim Guldo. Not much you can do with this, but he got an lpv mafia, good job.


Altair - Blue Man Group - Twin - hijacked lynch Day 7

Dear Altair, you are Blue Man Group.

You are the ultimate comedy trio. You feature three men with blue skin, and no ears or hair. That is just epic.

You have no night power. However, you are searching for your friend Ted Kennedy. If one of you dies, the other will gain powahs.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Oh no! Your friend Ted Kennedy died! Now, twice in the game and only twice, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - taking revenge upon <user>." <user> will die. You are still allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People.

Role: Got the 2-time vigilante when Spiffy died, before then was simply a village vote.

Player: Got one kill, then died upon AG's hijacked lynch Day 7. Not much you can do with this and unfortunately got a village with the only kill he used.


FinnRagetti - Mr. Burns - Persuader - Killed Night 7

Dear FinnRagetti, you are Mr. Burns.

You are the old, greedy owner of the Springfield Power Plant. You will do anything for your money, and are very hesitant to give it away except for goods for yourself or anything like that.

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - Bribing <user1> to vote for <user2>." Your infinite funds will force <user1> to lynch <user2> the next day. Neither user may be yourself.

You are allied with the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People. You win if the Awesome/Badass/Otherwise Really Cool People eliminate all unfriendly threats.

Role: Simple persuader, yada yada.

Player: Claimed neutral to mole the mafia, didn't work for him though. He never lynched a mafia in his short time as village leader, but he did pretty well before them.


Darkamber8828 - Gary Oak - Yes/No Question Asker - Survived

Dear Darkamber8828, you are Gary Oak.

You are the PokéPimp. You were rude to Ash Ketchum, and even though you play Pokémon for a living, you still get the ladies. Yay.

You are the phenomenal hit song by Tay Zonday. You move your mouth away from the mic to breathe.

Player: Played alright Nights 0,1,and 2. Unfortunately didn't have enough time to vote Day 3 and was godkilled due to not following through on the persuasion. Probably my fault, I should have given him more time.

Role: I probably should have made him an unlimited lpv, but it didn't matter in the end.

Player: He didn't really do much at all the entire game. Was killed by Game Freak201 Night 4, and that was that for him.

Dear Eo Ut Mortus, you are the Rickroll.

That's right. You are the ultimate internet meme. The rickroll. This has fooled so many people in the past. Let's fool some more.

Role: Interestingly enough, two thirds of these abilities are the same as supermarth's wolf PM from Pokemon Lynchpin Mafia. The other one was stolen right out of Unicycle, where it was Engineer Pikachu's role.

Player: AG played very well. He kept a low profile until the mafia found him out towards the end. He was going to win but zorbees realized this and killed him.

You were the Republican Presidential nominee in 2008, but you failed to the might of Barack Obama. You thought you were hardcore because you spent years in a Vietnamese prison.

Player: Played impeccably. Just kept on killing. Kidnapped Eo Night 7, so that he would be gone for his kill night, and wouldn't return until zorbees' next kill night. Sided with Blue_Tornado after Aura Guardian died, and ended up winning.

Dear Blue_Tornado, you are Mario.

You are the star of a popular video game series, arguably the most popular of all. An overweight plumber, all the factions were jealous of you and your brother.

Each night, you may PM polelover44 with "Night X - jumping <user> up or down." Depending on whether you choose up or down, <user>'s priority will either go up one or down one.

You know that your brother Luigi is assassinfred.

You are allied with yourself and Luigi. You win if either one of you survives.

Role: Basic priority modifier

Player: Upped assassinfred's priority until he died, then worked with the mafia after the death of LightWolf, eventually winning with zorbees. Played very well.

Yeah, all I did this game was nearly give away my teammate day 1 and then contact the other mafia before I died (which was pretty much useless anyway!)

Also I wanna know how I was found out, so that I can avoid making the mistakes I made this game and improve for the next time I'm mafia!

EDIT: I actually didn't know that we'd inspected -mind-, shows how bad our communication was (he never appeared on the sheet so yeah :/)

I was pretty lazy with my claim anyway (couldn't use most of them since my lynchproof flavour was really different to most of our claims, and I'd already nearly given away Eo (once again thanks Amake for killing DLE, that helped a lot!)), so I just stole Finn's role from pokemon lynchpin :(

 

[Eo Ut Mortus]

That's because we never inspected him. zorbees was also responsible for killing LightWolf, not me (although I did get him and B_T in contact). In retrospect, I should have probably tried to be more active instead of letting zorbees do all the negotiating.

 

[Aura Guardian]

By the mafia finding me out, I assume that means, "caught me after I contacted them." I'd claimed neutral harmless to the mafia to zorbees, but accidentally talked in the wrong box (to zorbees when I meant to B_T) revealing myself as wolf. Also, Eo just might have told him, too.

Anyway, great game, and thanks for hosting, polelover44. At least I managed to guarantee that the village lost.

(In retrospect, I should have claimed to only be able to find the flavor or the role name or something like that. Then I would have been not as suspected by Lightwolf)

Eo told me you were wolf, and I had figured it anyways but of course could never be 100% sure. You made a (IMO) foolish decision saving me but I don't know how it would have played out if you hadn't.

Anyways I got B_T to up my priority by claiming that I was a BG trying to protect myself but a martyr was messing with me. I claimed to have needed 18 people dead in order to win and offered BT my protection for Nights 6 and 7 claiming I wanted to protect myself Night 5 (When in reality I was killing Lightwolf). I don't know how much he actually believed me but I was all alone and felt I needed to take the risk dealing with him. Lightwolf was doing so well leading the village and I thought I needed him dead in order to win. I still wasn't sure if it would work because Lightwolf could have hooked me that night, but he didn't, and due to some fortunate mislynches, I was able to win. It was a fun game.

Good game, everyone. Blue_Tornado was the best player in my opinion. He completely wrecked us later in the game. I made tons of mistakes early on, when I wasn't yet used to forum Mafia. If Altair wasn't so lenient on giving out his role PM, he may not have been taken out by A_G and could have killed quietly. But I'd also like to thank Altair for giving good advice when I asked for it.
Thanks for the game polelover. This is a pretty good community of players. I'll be sticking around here for a while, and will be sure to sign up for the next game you host. ;)

I liked the game, though I had a pretty boring role. I was hoping to be able to help lead the village since my role was useless after Slim Guldo's death. Oh well, I did the best I could with what I had.

good game! Also, I inspected UncleSam, which lead to his lynch. After that, I had LW's trust, at least I thought I did until BT told me he wanted him to down my priority. Either way, good playing, BT! You pulled it out for us. Too bad I got randkilled. tbh, I thought LW was behind the killing of me. But, I'm pleased to know that it was a randkill. Also, you forgot to mention that I inspected Raito as well, but forgot to submit my results to LW. He got killed that day anyway, so, I suppose it doesn't matter.

Uh no lol, I didn't trust you, not even for a second, but I guessed you wouldn't waste your life on a us4eless villager so I believed that unclesam was really bad(though you never edited your flavour when sending me your results so I knew you absorbed powers)

So yes let's get to this, my opinion and analysis on every player.

DLE and Amake: not much I can see, I didn't do anything before they died, though it was stupid to come out early like that, such a thing is better left for later, to kill the likes of a LPV...

Mind: Was an early claim which I was really happy about, as every important role claimed after the night ended, sadly with so few claims I didn't want to risk randoming, I was gonna use him and gamefreak the night after he died so that didn't work out.

hfb/Raverist: Raverist never claimed which led to me asking a question wrong with darkamber, which would have revealed zorbees earlier, and we all know what hfb did.....

Alchemator/Yoshix: I already said everything I needed to saya about this...

Spiffy/Altair: Well not much they could have done, Spiffy tried to make a big target out of himself but with altair openly claiming twin didn't help, but meh it's not like any leader stepped up at that point so altair had to do something.

AlphaBravo: Claimed mayor, never really voted, but god he should have never been lynched, check the damn sheet I give you next time my dear BG.

Itchni: Ah the BG, loyally protecting me the whole game, sadly was unable to check the sheet when I died which I had made some markings on that should have at least made some suspects obvious.

Gamefreak: Did what he had to and followed my orders, best village that didn't turn up as mafia after mind(and hey they were both vigs wow)

FinnRagetti: He helkped me, got some mafia god killed, tried to lead, number 3 villager in my book, sadly never got the sheet.

Darkamber/Team Aether: did what they had to, thanks.

UncleSam: His fake looked really nice and well written, and was tbh the best fake, if there weren't already two people claiming vigs(well he claimed he'd get powers after some time but vig was kind of obvious) I'd have most likely let him live till his abilities activated, but assassinfred kinda hit the last nail into his coffin.

Raito: He claimed the same power he really had, and tbh I didn't believe him for a second(me and him on the same team? Yeah no). Was originally the lynch target for the day I he was made to vote himself but new info came up and then he ended up getting godkilled.

Slim Guldo: He basically pasted the Cleffa PM from lynchpin, and added the village wc to it, I doubted that polelover would go that far(and I already saw from some claims that few roles were inspired by the lynchpin roles(rogue, BPV as a fake, the two vigs)). So after getting him inspected(sorry that I doubted you polelover) I got Gamefreak to kill him.

Eo: Claimed killer vig, he basically kills his target if he tried to kill him one time, was unsure about it, could have been an experimental role and I didn't get a real rogue claim till hfb subbed in... So I decided to redirect everything to him, I doubted that I could redirect kills but he would be an excellent test rat, having an ability that is mostly useless, giving me free time to test other claims on him... But yeah Yoshix only did it once(damned idlers) so only a BG was ever redirected to him...

Coronis: Claimed yes/no asker, which I already had one of(god I had to deal with two inspects and two yes/no men...) but A) his looked much less convincing than that of darkamber's(seriously the unsure result thing ruined it a lot) and B) he got randkilled.

Kharozz: Claimed randomiser which was an easy lynch once I got his claim. This was an EW approved game, and know as a fact that EW is against this role. That and all his claimed targets were not only dead but mafia even, and didn't even claim to have been redirected, sealing his fate.

theangryscientist: Doubted him from the start, especially with the already mentioned similarity with the lynchpin game, so I got darkamber on the question: Is there a BPV on the village, the answer was obvious...

Zorbees: Claimed auto one time revive if he dies. Due to the absence of Raverist's claim I asked the question to get him wrong, and with that wasted a night sadly, ended up being a big mistake right there, would have p much changed the game(don't idle people!!!)

And the fuckers, I mean Neutrals:

assassinfred: Claimed power inspect... Got suspicious about him, set up a few traps but he got them all right, so I decided to go for him, asked about his role though darkamber the night he was killed(tbh even before I tried to get around the fact he was important a bit, no idea if that had an effect), next time please don't claim to have inspected someone who got kidnapped the same night...

B_T: One question I have been thinking about, and ended up with that, that you aren't telling the full truth about your choice to support zorbees... Your argument was: The village screwed up, they didn't deserve to win. But you were the one to cause my death, and at that time we had only made on mistake, and that was because of idlers. Not that I can you, I blame polelover here, no actually I blame EW, bad EW stop letting this neutrals happen! Seriously, it has been said millions of times, make a neutral that can't side with any team or can only side with one, either way a harmful one/ones.

Aura Guardian: God, you claiming inspect gave me a lot of headaches. But then again, you were working for me with your inspects at least, so I guessed why not? Tbh I believed till I died that you were the meme inspect.

Assassinfred, I thought I told you already the reason Eo killed you (I think?) was because of LW's going around saying you were a powerful villager on purpose. Ah well.

And LW, at the time I didn't really trust Zorbees' claim, but then again, I wasn't so involved in the village and didn't know what was going on, and if Zorbees was telling the truth I had nothing to lose. And I was assuming the village had it won already so I thought helping out a potential mafia might save me from getting killed for the remains of the game. Yeah, that made Zorbees bypass the bg and kill you, leaving no real leader to lynch off the final suspects. But then again, if the village were to be operating with your sheet there shouldn't have been a problem at all. But that didn't happen, and it's not your fault and not mine either.

Short: Supported Zorbees to higher my chances of winning, since I thought helping a mafia wouldn't stop the village at that point. Eh... -_____-

Tbh the village should have lynched BT one of the last days since he could cause nothing but harm and both the inspect and Y/N asker were alive. That's what I would have done, anyway.

Itchni did well, but after LightWolf's death, he needed to access the spreadsheet and at least give it to another person, like Darkamber8828, myself, or Team Aether. I think this was a good start for him as his first game (this is your fast game right?) 7/10

I did well under the circumstances, but I mislynched AlphaBravo, which led to the village demise...I did kill 2 people with my powers of persuasion. ;D. 7/10

Also, comments on the host: Polelover, you did pretty good for the most part, but I think you needed to be tighter on the inactivity (yoshix and AlphaBravo) as well as posts overall. You forgot to tell Coronis that he was persuaded, but you still did well handling it by giving me two persuades at once. The Mario duo definitely messed the game up. 5/10

I think I am remembering some other game I approved, and I forgot for this one. I didn't get to see the WCs of the neutral team when I approved it, but that doesn't alleviate the blame from me, so again I'm sorry about that!
