[OVERVIEW]

Bewear has an amazing base 125 Attack stat combined with a great offensive typing in Normal / Fighting, which lets its STAB moves hit all but Ghost-types for at least neutral damage. Also, it gets access to powerful STAB moves such as Double-Edge and Superpower as well as Swords Dance to boost its Attack even more, letting it break through the majority of the tier. It has a very high base 120 HP, allowing it to tank hits well. In addition, its Fluffy ability lets it take contact moves with ease and function as a check to many strong physical attackers such as Feraligatr, Durant, and physical Sharpedo. Bewear gets decent coverage options in Ice Punch, Earthquake, and Shadow Claw, allowing it to hit Pokemon that would otherwise give it trouble such as Gligar, Doublade, Dhelmise, Mismagius, and Jellicent. However, its Speed and Special Defense are pretty low, leaving it outsped by many Pokemon and easily revenge killed by special attackers.

ability: Fluffy
nature: Jolly

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Swords Dance allows Bewear to boost its Attack to a dangerously high level and break teams more easily. Double-Edge is Bewear's strongest Normal-type STAB attack, and it's the best move to take advantage of Normalium Z. Superpower is the preferred Fighting-type STAB move over Hammer Arm because a Swords Dance set doesn't appreciate losing any Speed. Earthquake hits Doublade, which would otherwise wall Bewear. Shadow Claw is an alternative that still hits Doublade but also Dhelmise and Mismagius.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack with an Jolly nature allows Bewear to do as much damage as possible to foes. Full Speed investment lets Bewear outrun Pangoro as well as Machamp. A Jolly nature can be used to let Bewear outspeed Jolly Pangoro, but the decrease in power is noticeable. Normalium Z turns Double-Edge into Breakneck Blitz, allowing Bewear to do a massive amount of damage to one of the opponent's Pokemon. Silk Scarf is another option that allows Bewear to 2HKO bulky Pokemon such as Quagsire without using its team's Z-Move. Fluffy lets Bewear take half damage from contact moves, making it a nice check to strong Pokemon reliant on contact moves such as Linoone and Flygon locked into Outrage.

Usage Tips
========

Thanks to its Fluffy ability, Bewear can eat up contact moves such as Doublade's Iron Head, but it should watch out for non-contact attacks such as Toxicroak's Gunk Shot. However, Fluffy also makes Bewear take double damage from Fire-type attacks, meaning it should watch out for those as well. If you hope to set up with Swords Dance, you should avoid switching Bewear in on attacks and entry hazards because it's going to get worn down fast due to its lack of reliable recovery. Setting up with Swords Dance can be accomplished either on a predicted switch or by using it against passive Pokemon that can't do much to Bewear such as Bronzong. Breakneck Blitz should be used to surprise the opponent and get rid of defensive Pokemon that normally switch in on Bewear such as Gligar. Bewear has an easier time setting up against defensive teams by taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Umbreon. More prediction and thought is needed against offensive teams, however, as Bewear can't afford to switch in on strong attacks if it plans on setting up.

Team Options
========

Steel-type Pokemon such as Doublade and Registeel are able to cover Bewear's weaknesses to Psychic-, Fairy-, and Flying-type attacks. Entry hazard(space)support from Registeel, which gets Stealth Rock, and Chesnaught, which gets Spikes, is appreciated to help put the opponent's Pokemon into KO range of Bewear's attacks. Pokemon that can get rid of hazards such as Gligar are good partners because Bewear doesn't like getting worn down. Gligar also covers Bewear's weakness to Fighting-type attacks. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic cover Bewear's weakness to Fire-type attacks. U-turn and Volt Switch users such as Flygon, Zoroark, Rotom-H, and Rotom-C are good partners for Bewear because they can bring it in for free and allow it to set up or get a free KO. Cleaners such as Sharpedo take advantage of Bewear's ability to weaken the opponent's team to have an easier time sweeping late-game. Healing Wish or Lunar Dance support from Gardevoir, Cresselia, or Shaymin allows a weakened Bewear to come back at full HP and threaten the opposing team once again.

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Return / Double-Edge
move 2: Superpower / Hammer Arm
move 3: Ice Punch
move 4: Earthquake / Shadow Claw
item: Choice Band
ability: Fluffy
nature: Adamant
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Return is a great Normal-type STAB move with no drawback. Double-Edge has more power but also comes with recoil, which can hinder Bewear in the long run. Superpower is Bewear's secondary STAB move, and it's great for hitting Rock- and Steel-types that resist Bewear's Normal-type attacks. It does, however, lower Bewear's Attack and Defense, which could allow foes to take advantage of it. Hammer Arm is an alternative option that instead drops Bewear's already mediocre Speed, but it's weaker than Superpower. Ice Punch targets Gligar, which doesn't get 2HKOed by Return, and Dhelmise, which is immune to both of Bewear's STAB moves and resists Earthquake. Earthquake hits Doublade, which is immune to Bewear's STAB attacks, super effectively. Shadow Claw is an alternative option that still hits Dhelmise and Doublade but also targets Jellicent, which can switch in on Bewear's other moves pretty comfortably.

Set Details
========

252 EVs in Attack with an Adamant nature maximize Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities. 252 EVs in Speed allow Bewear to outspeed Adamant Pangoro and Machamp. Choice Band increases Bewear's Attack to an incredible level, allowing it to do massive damage to opposing Pokemon. Fluffy allows Bewear to take contact moves better and check threats such as +1 Feraligatr.

Usage Tips
========

Bewear can switch in pretty easily on contact moves such as Flygon's Outrage, Snorlax's Return, and even Chesnaught's Drain Punch thanks to its Fluffy ability, but it should avoid non-contact moves such as Rhyperior's Earthquake and stay away from Fire-type attacks because they do double damage to it. Bewear should be brought in safely if possible with a double switch or VoltTurn support because it's often going to have to take an attack before going for one of its own due to its low Speed. Since Bewear's running a Choice Band and Ghost-types are immune to its STAB moves, you're often going to have to predict what Pokemon the opponent is going to switch out to. Against defensive teams, Bewear finds more opportunities to come in for free on passive Pokemon and do some massive damage. Against offensive teams, however, Bewear prefers being brought in safely with U-turn or Volt Switch or when you predict Pokemon such as Feraligatr to set up in order to stop them from getting out of hand.

Team Options
========

Zoroark is a great partner for Bewear because it can disguise itself as Bewear to lure in and take out a lot of its checks such as Doublade, Gligar, and Dhelmise. Registeel can switch in on Fairy-, Flying-, and Psychic-type attacks and provide Stealth Rock to weaken the opponent's team for Bewear. Spikes support from Pokemon such as Chesnaught and Roserade helps Bewear pick up KOs more easily. Gligar is able to switch in on Fighting-type attacks that threaten Bewear as well as provide Defog support so Bewear doesn't get worn down by hazards. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic make good teammates due to their ability to cover Bewear's Fire-type weakness. Bewear appreciates U-turn and Volt Switch users such as Rotom, Zoroark, and Swellow allowing it to come in for free and get a kill. Late-game cleaners such as Flygon and Sharpedo can take advantage of Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities. Bewear appreciates support from Healing Wish and Lunar Dance users such as Gardevoir, Shaymin, and Cresselia, allowing it to get back up to full HP and threaten the opponent's team again.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bulk Up + Substitute can be used as a form of setup instead of Swords Dance to give Bewear more bulk. However, Bulk Up is inferior to Swords Dance because it gives Bewear less of an Attack boost while leaving it revenge killed by the same strong special attackers. Taunt can also be used to prevent defensive Pokemon from inflicting status on Bewear. However, Bewear prefers running as much coverage as possible.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Special Attackers**: Due to Bewear's low Special Defense, it is easily revenge killed by special attackers such as Swellow and Espeon.

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-type Pokemon such as Jellicent and Mismagius are immune to all of Bewear's STAB attacks. They do, however, need to watch out for Bewear's coverage moves.

**Psychic-types**: Bulky Psychic-type Pokemon such as Cresselia and Slowbro can easily switch in on Bewear's Fighting-type attacks. They do need to be careful of its strong Normal-type moves, however.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Florges and Gardevoir can come in on Bewear's Fighting-type attacks, but they are threatened by its Normal-type STAB moves. Gardevoir in particular has an easier time checking Bewear due to its Trace ability leaving it only threatened by Earthquake and Breakneck Blitz.

**Fire-types**: Bewear is threatened by Fire-type attacks from the likes of Moltres and Salazzle due to its Fluffy ability. However, due to Bewear's incredible power, these Pokemon can't comfortably switch in.

**Residual Damage**: Bewear doesn't appreciate getting worn down by entry hazards or status because they hinder its longevity and it has no reliable recovery.

**Trace**: Pokemon with the ability Trace such as Porygon2 and Gardevoir can copy Bewear's Fluffy ability to take its contact moves much more comfortably.

reword fluffy, as it halves damage only from contact moves, so stuff like eq hits hard. include shadow claw as part of coverage as well. include that due to doublade being a solid mon in the tier, Bewear has to guess which move to use and might often choose the wrong one.

Add shadow claw as a slash over eq most probably, as it hits both doublade and mismagius, as well as dhelmise. I don't think 52 HP is necessary at all, put all the rest in speed, because Bewear would want to outspeed Pangoro and Machamp. move fluffy's mention to set details. mention how to use bewear vs defensive teams, and vs offensive teams. You need more in team options, esp bulky waters to handle fire types, spikes support.

Mention in usage tips why people should use Normalium Z. Include that it KOes Gligar, which most people tend to switch to. Include the same teammates in options, as well as cleaners.

Mention sub + bu and taunt in oo

Include revenge killers in c&c

In overview I'd mention that it can check Offensive Sharpedo, a mon that Offensive teams usually have problems beating, also when you mention coverage I'd mention Jellicent for Shadow Claw, since it's one of the few mons able to avoid a 2HKO from any other Bewear move and have recovery (and can use Will-o-Wisp)
Normalium Z should be mentioned in set details, while it does give you a Z-move, it's still an item. Mention with Normalium Z that it allows Bewear to OHKO Gligar at +2, something like.
  • Normalium-Z turns Double-Edge into Breakneck Blitz and allows Bewear to do a massive amount of damage to the opponent's Pokemon, OHKOing Physically Defensive Gligar at +2.
In C&C mention Gardevoir as a Fairy/Psychic type, thanks to Trace and a Fighting-type dual resist, Bewear can only OHKO it with EQ in the Band set and Z-Double Edge in the SD set while Gardevoir can outspeed and OHKO it with anything.
Some categories lack examples, you mention Fire-types are a problem but don't mention any Fire-type, you could include Salazzle (I'd remove it's mention earlier and put something like Espeon), Rotom-H (you can mention WoW as well on this one) and Moltres as example of threatening Fire-types (mentioning that they can't switch in Bewear but can revenge kill it with ease).
The same thing happens with Ghost types, mention Jellicent since it will usually be able to stop Bewear, also Mismagius and/or Hoopa who have to be careful switching in but can abuse of a Bewear choice-locked in some STAB (also on Earthquake, in Mismagius's case) with NP and Subs on Hoopa's case.
You're missing the 4 EVs (in HP, I suppose) in the Choice Band set

Didn't mention Sharpedo at first because it can't check the special set since Hydro does like 80 min. I mentioned physical shark tho. I mentioned Z-Edge dealing with Gligar in Usage Tips already. Implemented all of the other stuff. I only added Gardevoir in Fairy-types cause it felt a bit weird to add it in both. Maybe I can make a separate section for Trace Pokemon, but I'd like to get a second opinion on this.

- On the Choice Band set, Id definitely emphasize on how Shadow Claw allows Bewear to actually beats Jellicent which otherwise beats it. It is important to mention this cause otherwise Shadow Claw... is just there since ever Doublade and Dhelmise are nailed harder by Earthquake and Ice Punch respectively and Mismagius takes 74% from a banded ice punch which is definitely not safe.

- On the Swords Dance, on this part "U-Turn and Volt Switch users such as Flygon and Zoroark" these are both u-turn users. Small mistake but it is important to be clear on this type of analyses cause this could aimed to somewhat that havent played mons and this sentence could lead to some confusion. Mention both Rotom-Cut and Heat as Volt Switch users.

- Swords Dance set can mention Jolly Nature as an option under Set Details imo. Wouldn harm, and is a doable option for Jolly Pangoro.

- As funny as it is, there should be a Trace users option under the check and counters section. This is quite the particular case but it is pretty necessary to mention since this allows Pokemon like P2 to become an actual check to Bewear. Can still keep the Gardevoir mention under the Fairy-types section but keep the Trace bit for the new Trace users section.

- Remove the revenge killers section. It is kind of broad and apply to basically any slow Pokemon. Dont see the need to point out since I believe common sense applies on this.

Nice stuff. QC 2/3 once implemented.

The first few sentences in the overview need to explain how great Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities are. You just mention it has a great 125 attack and thats it; mention how its high attack mixed with high bp STABs and swords dance allow it to break through the majority of the tier.

Due to Doublade being a very solid and common Pokemon, Bewear often finds itself in situations where it has to predict which attack to go for and going for the wrong one can allow the foe to take advantage
Doublade having this sentence in the overview makes it sound like Doublade is this extremely hard counter to Bewear which isn't true at all, remove that. I don't think the overview needs a bulletpoint like that honestly

Also, I'd like the SD set to be the first. CB can be played around pretty easily, but SD allows Bewear to be extremely scary because of the attack boost AND not having to predict around shit like regi/gligar or something. Also, I'd like Silk Scarf to be slashed after Normalium Z, since it lets Bewear 2HKO Quagsire with ease w/ Double Edge.

In team options of both sets mention Cress, Garde, and Shaymin with Lunar Dance/Healing Wish

I'll QC this later, but for now do the above pls

Mention how Jolly will make it that much weaker at breaking shit and that it's noticeable in set details of SD.

There are a few mantine mentions here and there, remove them

The analysis writeup overall feels very "stiff" or "rigid", it seems like just sentence after sentence without nothing to connect them, like you took bulletpoints and put them next to each other without doing anything else. Not asking you to re-write the analysis just use some sentence 'converters' like the words however, also, in addition, etc.

Do that and then take it to GP

Moves
========

Swords Dance allows Bewear to boost its Attack to a dangerously high level and break teams more easily. Double-Edge is Bewear's strongest Normal STAB and it's the superior move to take advantage of Normalium-Z (remove hyphen). for future reference the names of Z-Moves don't warrant a hyphen, but "Z-Move" and "Z-Crystal" do Superpower is preferred over Hammer Arm because a Swords Dance set doesn't appreciate losing any Speed. Earthquake hits Doublade which would otherwise wall Bewear. Shadow Claw is an alternative which still hits Doublade, but also as well as hitting just sounded choppy, "but" usually indicating negative attributes Dhelmise and Mismagius for super effective damage.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack with an Adamant nature allows Bewear to do as much damage as possible to the foe. Full Speed investment lets Bewear outrun Adamant Pangoro, as well as Machamp. A Jolly Nature can also be used to outspeed Jolly Pangoro, however the decrease in power is noticeable. The remaining EVs are put into HP to increase its bulk. Normalium-Z (remove hyphen) turns Double-Edge into Breakneck Blitz and allows Bewear to do a massive amount of damage to the opponent's Pokemon. Silk Scarf is another option that allows Bewear to 2HKO Pokemon such as Quagsire without a Z-Move. Fluffy lets Bewear take half from contact moves, making it a nice check to strong Pokemon such as Flygon locked into Outrage, and Linoone.

Usage Tips
========

Thanks to its ability Fluffy, (AC) ability, (RC) Bewear can eat up contact-moves (remove hyphen) such as Doublade's Iron Head, but it should watch out for non-contact attacks such as Toxicroak's Gunk Shot. However, Fluffy also makes it take double damage from Fire-type attacks, meaning it should watch out for those as well. If it hopes to set up with Swords Dance, it should avoid switching in on attacks and hazards because it's going to get worn down fast due to its lack of reliable recovery. Setting up with Swords Dance can be accomplished either by predicting the foe opponent "opponent" refers to the person you are playing against; use "foe," "target," or "enemy" (or their plural forms) when referring to the opposing Pokemon to switch out and taking that as an opportunity to set up, or against passive Pokemon that can't do much to Bewear such as Bronzong. Normalium-Z (remove hyphen) should be used to surprise the opponent and get rid of defensive Pokemon that would normally switch in on Bewear such as Gligar. Bewear has an easier time setting up against defensive teams by taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Umbreon. More prediction and thought is needed against offensive teams, however, as Bewear can't afford to switch in on strong attacks if it plans on setting up. this sentence is kind of vague, what do you want the reader do actually do with Bewear?

Team Options
========

Steel-type Pokemon such as Doublade and Registeel are able to cover Bewear's weakness to Psychic-, Fairy-, and Flying-type attacks. Hazard support from Registeel's, (RC) which gets Stealth Rocks, and Chesnaught's, which gets Spikes, (RC) too choppy and fluffy is appreciated and as it helps put the foe's opponent's Pokemon in range of Bewear's attacks. Pokemon that can get rid of hazards such as Gligar are good partners because Bewear doesn't like getting worn down. Gligar also cover Bewear's weakness to Fighting-type attacks. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic cover Bewear's weakness to Fire-type attacks. U-Turn and Volt Switch users such as Flygon, Zoroark, Rotom-H and Rotom-C are good partners for Bewear because they can bring it in for free and allow it to set up or get a free kill. Cleaners such as Sharpedo take advantage of Bewear's ability to weaken the foe's opponent's team and have an easier time sweeping late-game. Healing Wish / and Lunar Dance support from Gardevoir, Cresselia, and Shaymin allows Bewear to come back at full HP and threaten the foe's opponent's team once again.

Moves
========

Return is a great Normal STAB with no drawback. this is kind of incoherent because Ghost-types can come in against a predicted Return and leave it as set-up fodder due to being Choice locked etc etc Double-Edge has more a higher Base Power than Return but it also comes with recoil which can hinder Bewear in the long run. Superpower is Bewear's secondary STAB and it's great for hitting Rock- and Steel-types that resist its Normal attacks. It does, however, lower Bewear's Attack and Defense which could allow the foe to take advantage. Hammer Arm is an alternative option which instead drops lowers Bewear's already mediocre Speed, but it's weaker than Superpower. Ice Punch targets Gligar, which doesn't get 2HKOed by Return, and Dhelmise, which is immune to both of Bewear's STAB moves attacks and resists Earthquake. Earthquake hits Doublade which is immune to Bewear's STAB attacks. Shadow Claw is an alternative option which still hits Dhelmise and Doublade, but also targets Jellicent which can switch in on its other moves pretty comfortably.

Set Details
========

252 EVs in Attack with an Adamant nature maximizes Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities. 252 EVs in Speed allow Bewear to outspeed Adamant Pangoro and Machamp. The rest of the EVs are put into HP to increase Bewear's bulk. Choice Band increases Bewear's Attack to an incredible level and allows it to do massive damage to the opponent. Fluffy allows Bewear to take physical hits better and check threats such as +1 Feraligatr.

Usage Tips
========

Bewear can switch in pretty easily on contact moves such as Flygon's Outrage, Snorlax's Return, even Chesnaught's Drain Punch thanks to its ability Fluffy, (AC) ability, (RC) but it should avoid non-contact moves such as Rhyperior's Earthquake. It should be brought in safely if possible, (AC) because due to its low Speed it's often going to have to take an attack before going for one of its own. Due to its ((put parenthesis here)) Fluffy ((ability)), Bewear should stay away from Fire-type attacks because they do double damage. Since it's running a Choice Band, it's often going to have to predict what Pokemon the opponent is going to switch out to so it can go for the appropriate move, as its STAB moves are blocked by any Ghost-type. Against defensive teams Bewear finds more opportunities to come in for free on passive Pokemon and do some massive damage. Against offensive teams, however, it prefers being brought in safely with U-Turn or Volt Switch, or when predicting Pokemon such as Feraligatr to set up and stop them from getting out of hand.

Team Options
========

Zoroark is a great partner for Bewear because it can disguise itself as Bewear and lure in a lot of its checks such as Doublade, Gligar, and Dhelmise. Registeel can switch in on against Fairy-, Flying-, and Psychic-type attacks that are super-effective (remove hyphen) against Doublade and provide Stealth Rock which is going to weaken the foe's opponent's team for Bewear. Spikes support from Pokemon such as Chesnaught and Roserade helps Bewear pick up KOs more easily due to the opposing team being chipped down upon entry. Gligar is able to switch in on Fighting-type attacks that threaten Bewear, as well as provide Defog support so Bewear doesn't get worn down by hazards. Bewear appreciates bulky Water-types such as Milotic as teammates due to their ability to cover its Fire-type weakness. Bewear appreciates U-Turn and Volt Switch users such as Rotom, Zoroark, and Swellow which can allow it to come in for free and get a kill. Late-game cleaners such as Flygon and Sharpedo can take advantage of Bewear's ability to weaken the opposing team thanks to its wallbreaking capabilities. Bewear appreciates support from Healing Wish and Lunar Dance users such as Gardevoir, Shaymin, and Cresselia, allowing it to get back up to full HP and threaten the foe's team again enabling it to fully regain its health, to once again threaten the opposing team. sentence structure was really similar to last one in the team options above

Bulk Up+Substitute can be used as a form of setup instead of Swords Dance and gives Bewear more bulk. However, it's inferior to Swords Dance because it gives it less of an Attack boost while at the same time leaving it revenge killed by strong special attackers that also revenge kill the Swords Dance variant. Taunt can also be used to prevent defensive Pokemon from inflicting status on it. However, Bewear prefers running as much coverage as possible.

**Psychic-types**: Bulky Psychic-type Pokemon such as Cresselia and Slowbro can easily switch in on Bewear's Fighting-type attacks. They do need to be careful of its strong Normal-type moves attacks, however.

**Fairy-types**: Just like Psychic-types, Fairy-type Pokemon such as Florges and Gardevoir can come in on Fighting-type attacks, but they are threatened by its Normal STAB. Gardevoir in particular has an easier time checking Bewear due to its Trace ability, leaving it only threatened by Earthquake and Breakneck Blitz.

**Fire-types**: Bewear gets threatened by Fire-type attacks from the likes of Moltres and Salazzle due to its ((insert parenthesis here)) Fluffy ((ability)). However, due to Bewear's incredible power, these Pokemon can't comfortably switch in.

**Residual Damage**: Bewear doesn't appreciate getting worn down by hazards or status because it hinders its longevity. you could possible expand a bit on this, mention how it has no reliable recovery as well as it hinders its role in wallbreaking

**Pokemon with Trace**: Pokemon with the ability Trace such as Porygon2 and Gardevoir can Trace Bewear's Fluffy ability and take its contact-moves (remove hyphen) much more comfortably.

Swords Dance allows Bewear to boost its Attack to a dangerously high level and break teams more easily. Double-Edge is Bewear's strongest Normal-type STAB attack, Normal STAB and it's the superior best move to take advantage of Normalium-Z. Normalium Z. Superpower is the preferred Fighting-type STAB move (optional, to make it more clear) over Hammer Arm because a Swords Dance set doesn't appreciate losing any Speed. Earthquake hits Doublade, (comma) which would otherwise wall Bewear. Shadow Claw is an alternative which still hits Doublade, (remove comma) but also hits Dhelmise and Mismagius.

Set Details

Maximum investment in Attack with an Adamant nature allows Bewear to do as much damage as possible to foes. the foe. Full Speed investment lets Bewear outrun Adamant Pangoro, (remove comma) as well as Machamp. A Jolly Nature nature can also be used to let Bewear outspeed Jolly Pangoro, however the decrease in power is noticeable. The remaining EVs are put into HP to increase its bulk. Normalium-Z Normalium Z turns Double-Edge into Breakneck Blitz and allows Bewear to do a massive amount of damage to one of the opponent's Pokemon. Silk Scarf is another option that allows Bewear to 2HKO bulky Pokemon such as Quagsire without using its team's a Z-Move. Fluffy lets Bewear take half damage from contact moves, making it a nice check to strong Pokemon reliant on contact moves (just to make it more clear) such as Flygon locked into Outrage, (remove comma) and Linoone.

Usage Tips
========

Thanks to its Fluffy ability, Bewear can eat up contact-moves contact moves such as Doublade's Iron Head, but it should watch out for non-contact attacks such as Toxicroak's Gunk Shot. However, Fluffy also makes it Bewear take double damage from Fire-type attacks, meaning it should watch out for those as well. If it hopes you hope to set up with Swords Dance, it you should avoid switching Bewear in on attacks and entry hazards because it's going to get worn down fast due to its lack of reliable recovery. Setting up with Swords Dance can be accomplished either by predicting the foe to switch out and taking that as an opportunity to set up, (remove comma) or by using it against passive Pokemon that can't do much to Bewear such as Bronzong. Normalium-Z Normalium Z should be used to surprise the opponent and get rid of defensive Pokemon that would normally switch in on Bewear such as Gligar. Bewear has an easier time setting up against defensive teams by taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Umbreon. More prediction and thought is needed against offensive teams, however, as Bewear can't afford to switch in on strong attacks if it plans on setting up.

Team Options

Steel-type Pokemon such as Doublade and Registeel are able to cover Bewear's weakness weaknesses to Psychic-, Fairy-, and Flying-type attacks. Entry hazard support from Registeel, which gets Stealth Rock, and Chesnaught, which gets Spikes, is appreciated and helps to help put the foe's opponent's Pokemon (use opponent for the human player and foe/enemy/etc. for a Pokemon) in range of Bewear's attacks. Pokemon that can get rid of hazards such as Gligar are good partners because Bewear doesn't like getting worn down. Gligar also cover covers Bewear's weakness to Fighting-type attacks. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic cover Bewear's weakness to Fire-type attacks. U-Turn U-turn and Volt Switch users such as Flygon, Zoroark, Rotom-H, (comma) and Rotom-C are good partners for Bewear because they can bring it in for free and allow it to set up or get a free KO. kill. Cleaners such as Sharpedo take advantage of Bewear's ability to weaken the foe's team to and have an easier time sweeping late-game. Healing Wish / or Lunar Dance support from Gardevoir, Cresselia, and or Shaymin allows a weakened Bewear to come back at full HP and threaten the foe's team once again.

Return is a great Normal-type STAB move with no drawback. (besides Ghost-types being immune to it?) Double-Edge has more power but it also comes with recoil, (comma) which can hinder Bewear in the long run. Superpower is Bewear's secondary STAB move, (comma) and it's great for hitting Rock- and Steel-types that resist its Bewear's Normal-type attacks. It does, however, lower Bewear's Attack and Defense, (comma) which could allow the foe to take advantage of it. Hammer Arm is an alternative option which that instead drops Bewear's already mediocre Speed, but it's weaker than Superpower. Ice Punch targets Gligar, which doesn't get 2HKOed by Return, and Dhelmise, which is immune to both of Bewear's STAB moves and resists Earthquake. Earthquake hits Doublade, (comma) which is immune to Bewear's STAB attacks, super effectively. Shadow Claw is an alternative option which that still hits Dhelmise and Doublade, (remove comma) but also targets Jellicent, (comma) which can switch in on its Bewear's other moves pretty comfortably.

252 EVs in Attack with an Adamant nature maximizes maximize (EVs ... maximize) Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities. 252 EVs in Speed allow Bewear to outspeed Adamant Pangoro and Machamp. The rest of the EVs are put into HP to increase Bewear's bulk. Choice Band increases Bewear's Attack to an incredible level and allows it to do massive damage to opposing Pokemon. the opponent. Fluffy allows Bewear to take physical hits contact moves (as you mention later, physical is not necessarily the same as contact) better and check threats such as +1 Feraligatr.

Usage Tips
========

It Bewear should be brought in safely if possible with a double switch or VoltTurn support, because due to its low Speed it's often going to have to take an attack before going for one of its own. Due to its Fluffy ability, Bewear should stay away from Fire-type attacks because they do double damage. (I integrated this with the previous sentence about Fluffy) Since it's Bewear's running a Choice Band, it's you're often going to have to predict what Pokemon the opponent is going to switch out to so it you can go for the appropriate move, as its Bewear's STAB moves are blocked by any Ghost-type. Against defensive teams Bewear finds more opportunities to come in for free on passive Pokemon and do some massive damage. Against offensive teams, however, it Bewear prefers being brought in safely with U-Turn U-turn or Volt Switch, (remove comma) or when predicting you predict Pokemon such as Feraligatr to set up and in order to stop them from getting out of hand.

Team Options

Zoroark is a great partner for Bewear because it can disguise itself as Bewear and lure in and take out a lot of its checks such as Doublade, Gligar, and Dhelmise. Registeel can switch in on Fairy-, Flying-, and Psychic-type attacks that are super effective super-effective against Doublade Bewear (I think this is what you mean?) and provide Stealth Rock which is going to weaken the foe's opponent's team for Bewear. Spikes support from Pokemon such as Chesnaught and Roserade helps Bewear pick up KOs more easily due to the opposing team Pokemon being chipped down upon entry. Bewear appreciates U-Turn U-turn and Volt Switch users such as Rotom, Zoroark, and Swellow which that can allow it to come in for free and get a kill. Late-game cleaners such as Flygon and Sharpedo can take advantage of Bewear's ability to weaken the opposing team thanks to its wallbreaking capabilities. (say either "Bewear's ability to weaken the opposing team" or "Bewear's wallbreaking capabilities", they basically mean the same thing) Bewear appreciates support from Healing Wish and Lunar Dance users such as Gardevoir, Shaymin, and Cresselia, allowing it to get back up to full HP and threaten the foe's team again. (you use "Bewear appreciates" a lot in this paragraph, rephrase some of them)

Bulk Up+Substitute Up + Substitute can be used as a form of setup instead of Swords Dance and to give Bewear more bulk. However, it's Bulk Up inferior to Swords Dance because it gives it Bewear less of an Attack boost while at the same time (implied by "while") leaving it revenge killed by the same strong special attackers that also can revenge kill the Swords Dance variant. Taunt can also be used to prevent defensive Pokemon from inflicting status on Bewear. it. However, Bewear prefers running as much coverage as possible.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Special Attackers**: Due to Bewear's low Special Defense, it is easily revenge killed by special attackers such as Swellow and Espeon.

**Ghost-types**: Ghost-type Pokemon such as Jellicent and Mismagius are immune to both of Bewear's STAB attacks. (say either "both of Bewear's STAB types" or "all of Bewear's STAB attacks") They do, however, need to watch out for Bewear's coverage moves.

**Psychic-types**: Bulky Psychic-type Pokemon such as Cresselia and Slowbro can easily switch in on Bewear's Fighting-type attacks. They do need to be careful of its strong Normal-type moves, however.

**Fairy-types**: Just like Psychic-types, Fairy-type Pokemon such as Florges and Gardevoir can come in on Bewear's Fighting-type attacks, but they are threatened by its Normal-type STAB moves. Gardevoir in particular has an easier time checking Bewear due to its Trace ability, leaving it only threatened by Earthquake and Breakneck Blitz.

**Fire-types**: Bewear gets is threatened by Fire-type attacks from the likes of Moltres and Salazzle due to its Fluffy ability. However, due to Bewear's incredible power, these Pokemon can't comfortably switch in.

**Residual Damage**: Bewear doesn't appreciate getting worn down by entry hazards or status because it hinders they hinder its longevity and it has no reliable recovery. (maybe mention common hazard setters and Pokemon that can inflict status on Bewear)

**Trace**: Pokemon with the ability Trace such as Porygon2 and Gardevoir can Trace copy (for clarity) Bewear's Fluffy ability and take its contact-moves contact moves much more comfortably.

[OVERVIEW]

Bewear has an amazing base 125 Attack stat combined with a great offensive typing in Normal / Fighting, which lets its STAB moves hit every Pokemon all but Ghost-types for at least neutral damage with the exception of Ghost-types. Also, it gets access to high Base Power powerful STAB moves such as Double-Edge and Superpower, (comma) as well as Swords Dance to boost its Attack even more, letting it break through the majority of the tier. It has a very high base 120 HP, allowing it to tank hits well. In addition, its Fluffy ability lets it take contact moves with ease and allows it to function as a check to many strong physical attackers such as Feraligatr, Durant, and physical Sharpedo. Bewear gets decent coverage options in Ice Punch, Earthquake, and Shadow Claw, allowing it to hit Pokemon that would otherwise give it trouble such as Gligar, Doublade, Dhelmise, Mismagius, and Jellicent that would otherwise give it trouble. However, its Speed and Special Defense are pretty low, leaving it outsped by many Pokemon and easily revenge killed by special attackers.
