[BH] Deoxys-S [QC 1/3]

Deoxys-S analysis
QC 1/3 (ScarfWynaut)

Overview
*Deoxys-S is a great suicide lead for offensive teams due to its unmatched base speed of 180, allowing it to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame
*Mold Breaker gives it a high chance to set up at least one entry hazard each game, thanks to its high speed that beats everything in the metagame besides priority and Choice Scarf users.
*Entry hazards allow Deoxys-S's teammates to KO foes more easily and chip away at the health of defensive pokemon.
*Below-average defensive stats, along with a pure Psychic typing, relegates it to a frail lead role and makes it very susceptible to being KOed
*Since any Pokemon can run entry hazard removal, Deoxys-s's teammates must act quickly to take advantage of the hazards it has set up

Moves
* Stealth Rock damages anything that switches in, chipping away health and thus making Deoxys-S's offensive teammates more difficult to check
* Spore puts any non-Grass-type Pokemon without Safety Goggles out of commission, which allows Deoxys-S to set up an entry hazard if the foe falls asleep.
*Spikes puts significant strain on bulkier teams, as many of the common defensive Pokemon such as Steel-types and Zygarde-C take minimal damage from Stealth Rock.
* Taunt prevents the opposing Pokemon from setting up, but forces it to switch out if an Imposter wins the speed tie and taunts it first. It also prevents Defog, though many defoggers such as Core Enforcer Giratina and Registeel can punish Deoxys-S if it stays in.
*Destiny Bond is a last ditch effort to take something down if Deoxys-S's health is suitably low, and is especially useful with Focus Sash
*Sticky Web slows down opposing Pokemon, allowing slower breakers such as Choice band Primal Groudon to move first.
*Toxic spikes is useful to wear down defensive teams, but it does not affect steel types and grounded poison types such as Gengar can switch in to remove them. They can also be exploited to safely allow Poison Heal Pokemon to activate their ability without having to wait for a free switch to activate their Toxic Orb.

Set Details
* Timid nature ensures that Deoxys-S speed ties with opposing Deoxys-S and outspeeds all Choice Scarf users with base speed of 103 or less.
*Mold Breaker allows Deoxys-S to set up Stealth Rock against Magic Bounce users such as Registeel, Mega Audino or Giratina
*Focus Sash can be equipped in order to ensure at least one layer of hazards, along with the possibility of a future trade using Destiny Bond
* Safety Goggles is an alternative in order to ensure Deoxys-S is not put to sleep by a spore from opposing Deoxys-S or an Imposter user.

Usage Tips
*Starting your games with Deoxys-S is generally a good idea in order to place entry hazards as soon as possible.
*However, Deoxys-s's popularity as a lead means that a good opponent will expect you to lead with it; they may use an anti-lead pokemon, such as a prankster Pokemon with Taunt, in order to disable Deoxys-S and gain momentum. Do not be afraid to delay your hazards if you suspect this is the case.
*It is important to seize momentum as soon as Deoxys-S has set its hazards through double switches and pivoting, before the opponent has a chance to remove them.
*Use Spore against slow Offensive Pokemon, such as Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre, that could otherwise set up or KO, though be very cautious of Safety Goggles, which can cause you to waste a turn. Also note that Many Poison Heal users cannot be put to sleep because they run Spiky Shield or another similar move to ensure that their Toxic Orb activates. If you successfully predict the protect, you can set up hazards for free.
*Against common Rapid Spin users such as Registeel and Solgaleo, switch out to a spinblocker to preserve hazards and Deoxys-s's full HP.
*Do not be overeager to reveal Destiny Bond, as the opponent can play around it to gain free turns of setup and it fails if used consecutively.

Team Options
*Entry hazards can help your offensive Pokemon to break through otherwise solid defensive measures. For example, slower wallbreakers such as Choice band primal Groudon and Choice band Kyurem-B appreciate Deoxys-S's Sticky web support to allow them to obliterate Pokemon that would otherwise be faster, such as Mega Mewtwo Y, with their boosted STAB moves. Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza can 2hKO Registeel with Boomburst, and Sheer Force Mega Sceptile can take down primal Kyogre with Leaf Storm, after a single layer of Spikes damage.
* Offensive spinblockers can help keep the hazards that Deoxys-s set up on the field for a long time, while pressuring common rapid spin users such as Zygarde-Complete and Mega Gyarados. They also can pressure your opponent's spinblockers, making hazard control easier for Deoxys-S's teammates. Ghost-types such as Mega Gengar are immune to Rapid Spin and can take advantage of the free turn to set up. Giratina is a more defensive spinblocker that can use the free turn to pivot out or inflict status.
*Bulky wallbreakers such as Choice Band Primal Groudon Choice Specs Kyurem-W can deal heavy damage to users of Defog such as Aegislash, Giratina and Mega Audino.
*fast sweepers, such as Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Gengar, and Mega Sceptile, appreciate that Deoxys-s's hazards break Focus Sashes that would otherwise stop them
*Offensive entry hazard control is useful to keep Deoxys-s at full health so that it can utilize its Focus Sash. Assault Vest Mega Gyarados, Z Parting Shot Giratina, and Judgment Arceus can all viably run Rapid Spin without ceding too much momentum to the opposing team.

Strategy Comments

Other Options
*a Magic Bounce set is a serviceable anti-hazard lead, but its frailty prevents it from staying on the field for long, and its passivity is not conducive to an offensive team's needs.
*Magic Coat can be used to bounce back hazards against Mold Breaker users or bounce back Prankster moves, but the opponent can easily play around it once it's revealed and Deoxys-s generally does not have enough room to fit it.
*Rapid Spin allows Deoxys-s to control hazards by itself, but it's blocked by Ghost-types, such as Giratina and Mega Gengar, that can switch on it and force it out or heavily damage it.
*Parting Shot allows Deoxys-S to slightly weaken a foe as it switches to a teammate, but switching a Magic Bounce Pokemon in on it gives the opponent offensive momentum.
*Knock Off can be used to ensure Deoxys-s is not total Taunt bait; it has the nice utility of removing beneficial items, such as Safety Goggles and leftovers.

Checks and Counters
Priority attackers: Users of Aerilate, Pixilate, Galvanize and Refrigerate running Fake Out and Extreme Speed can dispatch Deoxys-s with their priority moves before it can do anything. Triage users such as Mega Rayquaza can prevent Deoxys-s's entry hazards from ever going up, either KOing it or gaining a free turn of setup while it switches out. However, Spore will allow Deoxys-S to put the offender out of commission for a few turns.
Multi-hit Move Users: Pokemon who carry Multi Hit moves, such as Primal Groudon running Bonemerang or Kyurem-B running Icicle Spear, can limit Deoxys-S to a single move before it is KOed.
Fast Choice Scarf Users: Mega Diancie and Mega ewtwo X often carry Choice Scarf, outspeeding Deoxys-s and bringing it down to its Focus Sash. However, they still do not like being hit with Spore
Offensive Entry Hazard Removers: Zygarde-Complete, Arceus, and Mega Gyarados can still trouble Deoxys-s, threatening it out with moves such as Core Enforcer, Knock off, and U-turn while Rapid Spinning its hazards.
Spore-immune Pokemon: Deoxys-s cannot afford to lose a turn doing nothing, so using Spore against a Pokemon with Safety Goggles can be very costly, as that Pokemon usually gets a fre hard hit or turn of setup against Deoxys-s as a result.

AM QC check coming through, lets get this one finished quickly. Comments, as always, in bold.
Overview
*Deoxys-s is a great suicide lead and anti-lead for offensive teams due to its unmatched base speed of 180, allowing it to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame No need to mention the stat, that will be on the page. Just say it's unmatched
*A combination of Mold Breaker and Focus Sash guarantees that it will be able to set up at least one entry hazard each game Not every set runs mold breaker, and sash isn't the first slash on either
*One can also play more defensively with Deoxys-Speed by using Magic Bounce and Magic Coat to prevent opposing entry hazard setters from doing their work. No, pick a better setter for that. Deoxys-S is a suicide lead
*Deoxys-s can also shut down a setup sweeper if its focus sash is still intact with Topsy Turvy and Destiny Bond, though that usually comes at the cost of its life. This is an Other Options bullet, not overveiw
Mention sleep here

*Below-average defensive stats, along with a pure Psychic typing, relegates it to a frail lead role and makes it very susceptible to having its Focus Sash broken Again, not focus sash, that's not first slash. Just say it's susceptible to being KOed.
*Since any Pokemon can run entry hazard removal, Deoxys-s's teammates must act quickly to take advantage of the hazards it has set up

Moves
* Stealth Rock is the best move in the game, damaging anything that switches in and thus breaking Focus Sash and Sturdy, both of which offensive teams love to utilize
* Spore puts any non-Grass-type Pokemon without Safety Goggles out of commission, giving Deoxys-s at least one free turn to do whatever it wants
* Taunt prevents the opposing lead from setting up their own entry hazards and prevents defog, but forces it to switch out if an Imposter wins the speed tie and taunts it
* Mention tspikes in moves
*Spikes puts significant strain on bulkier teams, as many of the common Pokemon such as (zygarde?) take minimal damage from Stealth Rock.
*Sticky Web can help to ensure that your offensive Pokemon will move first, though Deoxys-s's short time on the field is generally spent better setting up other hazards that actually deal damage
*Destiny Bond is a last ditch effort to take something down if Deoxys-S's health is suitably low, and is especially useful with Focus Sash

Set Details
* Maximum Speed And a timid nature ensures that Deoxys-s will at worst speed tie with opposing Deoxys-s in order to taunt them first;
* the rest of the EVs are placed in HP so that Deoxys-s survives a bit longer
*Mold Breaker allows Deoxys-S to set up Stealth Rock against Magic Bounce users such as Registeel or Giratina
* If using Spore, Safety Goggles are a necessity in order to counter Imposter users, though opposing Deoxys-s frequently run spore anyway
*Focus Sash is an alternative to Safety Goggles in order to ensure at least one layer of hazards, along with the possibility of a future trade using Destiny Bond

Usage Tips
*Starting your games with Deoxys-S is generally a good idea in order to place entry hazards as soon as possible.
*However, Deoxys-s's popularity as a lead means that a good opponent will expect you to lead with it; they may use an anti-lead pokemon, such as a fast Choice Scarf user with a multi-hit move, in order to KO Deoxys-S before it can do anything. Do not be afraid to delay your hazards if you suspect this is the case.
*Try to keep Deoxys-s alive until your opponent's entry hazard remover, such as Giratina or Zygarde-Complete, is gone. If the opponent manages to remove the hazards, Deoxys-s can be pivoted in to set them back up, which gives you favorable pressure.
*Do not be overeager to reveal Destiny Bond, as the opponent can play around it.
* More. WHat do you sleep, what do you taunt, what do you just set hazards on, etc
* Also when do you pivot to a spinblocker (ie when they switch sometghing in to sleep and leave it in whiel you set hazards)

Team Options
* Offensive spinblockers such as Mega Gengar and marshadow can help keep the hazards that Deoxys-s set up on the field for a long time, while pressuring common rapid spin users such as Zygarde-Complete and Mega Gyarados Get beter examples, these just merk mgar. Even like Celesteela or Solgaleo or AUdino with their setup moves
*Bulky wallbreakers such as Contrary Mega Rayquaza or Choice Scarf Kyurem-W can hassle users of Defog such as Aegislash, Giratina and Mega Audino
*fast sweepers, such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y and Ash-Greninja, appreciate that Deoxys-s's hazards break Focus Sashes that would otherwise stop them
*Offensive entry hazard control is useful to keep Deoxys-s at full health so that it can utilize its Focus Sash. Assault Vest Mega Gyarados, Assault Vest Solgaleo, and Judgment Arceus can all viably run Defog or Rapid Spin without ceding too much momentum to the opposing team, while additionally absorbing Knock Off and U-Turn that would otherwise cripple Deoxys-S. Just spin, really; mayeb your team needs defog, but if it does don't run a hazard lead

Cut this set, absolute garbage. Deo-S is outclassed at this role.

Parting Shot / Entrainment
Topsy Turvy / Spore

Moves
* Stealth Rock is useful on this set, as if an Imposter user decides to try it, they will have to lose momentum removing their own entry hazards.
* Parting Shot allows one to scout for opposing Magic Bounce users, especially if they decide to switch in after Deoxys-s has already set up Stealth Rock. The forced switch will cause two of the opponent's pokemon to take entry hazard damage instead of just one, though it also gives them momentum to send out whatever they want against Deoxys-s.
*Entrainment in conjunction with Mental Herb ensures that slower Mold Breaker opponents will be unable to use status moves against Deoxys-s, and opposing Deoxys-S will only be able to use a single move before its Mold Breaker is removed.
*Topsy Turvy, if used with Focus Sash, shuts down setup sweepers, most notably Shell Smash users, allowing Deoxys-S to Parting Shot out next turn or Destiny Bond as a last act of defiance.
*Spore can cripple Pokemon who attempt to use Deoxys-s as setup bait.
*Destiny Bond is mandatory on this set, and if played right, ensures that Deoxys-s will get a single KO in almost every game.

Set Details
*Speed is fully invested to ensure that Deoxys-s can outspeed as many threats as it can, including neutral-natured base 90 Speed Pokemon that have boosted to +2 such as Primal Groudon and Quiver Dance Primal Kyogre. It can also outspeed anything up to fully invested base 100 Speed Pokemon equipped with a Choice Scarf. It also speed ties with opposing Deoxys-s, giving it a chance to use Entrainment to remove Mold Breaker.
*Maximum HP investment improves Deoxys-s's slight bulk, allowing it to last a bit longer.
*Magic Bounce prevents most status moves and entry hazards from working against Deoxys-S, while also making it imposter-proof.
*Safety goggles prevents a Mold Breaker Spore from an opposing Deoxys-s from getting free turns. Mental Herb is useful against Deoxys-s's Taunt, while Focus Sash allows Deoxys-s to survive a powerful hit to shut down a sweeper.

Usage Tips
*This Deoxys-s set is used to anti-lead offensive entry hazard setters and is best used on a balance or bulky offense team. Typical setters to use it against are Giratina, Mega Audino and Deoxys-s.
*Mold Breaker Deoxys-s is the most common Deoxys-s set, which can usually guarantee a single layer of entry hazards against this set. However, if you manage to use Entrainment against it next turn, it will most likely give you the switch initiative with Parting Shot.
*Deoxys-s is safe to stay in against an Imposter user, which has no choice but to Parting Shot out in order to not give you momentum.
*Remember that the threat of Magic Bounce Deoxys-s, even when it is not currently on the field, forces your opponent to exercise caution when using status moves. Losing Deoxys-S early in the match gives the opponent much more liberty to use those moves.

Team Options
*Wallbreakers such as Kyurem-B, Primal Groudon, and Kartana can take advantage of Deoxys-S's entry hazards to break Focus Sash without resorting to multi-hit moves.
*Bulky defensive walls such as Giratina and Celesteela can switch into multi-hit moves that would otherwise break Deoxys-s's Focus Sash. In turn, they appreciate that Deoxys-s can check a dangerous setup sweeper.
*Pokemon that resist common priority moves, such as Triage and -ate attacks, are useful since Deoxys-s cannot take them. Bulky Steel types such as Registeel resist most priority attacks with the exception of Galvanize and Triage Drain Punch. Mega Mewtwo Y can also set up Psychic Terrain to block priority moves for 5 rounds.
*A backup Rapid Spinner such as Zygarde-Complete or Mega Gyarados is useful in case an opposing Pokemon manages to set up Stealth Rock so that Deoxys-S can more easily stay at full health.

Strategy Comments

Other Options

*Magic Coat can be used to bounce back hazards against Mold Breaker users, but the opponent can easily play around it once it's revealed and Deoxys-s generally does not have enough room to fit it.
*Rapid Spin allows Deoxys-s to control hazards by itself, but it's blocked by Ghost-types, such as Giratina and Mega Gengar, that can switch on it for free momentum.
*Knock Off can be used to ensure Deoxys-s is not total Taunt bait; it has the nice utility of removing beneficial items such as allowing .
*A status spreading No Guard set with Inferno, Zap Cannon and Hypnosis is a gimmicky option that can still surprise unprepared teams, as status is not as common in such an offensive metagame.

Checks and Counters
Priority attackers
: Users of Aerilate, Pixilate, Galvanize and Refrigerate running Fake Out and Extreme Speed can dispatch Deoxys-s with their priority moves before it can do anything. Triage users such as Mega Rayquaza can force Deoxys-s to switch out, allowing them a free turn of setup. Not really, the big issue is that they prevent hazards (and deoxys can spore triage so not exactly free setup)

Taunt users: Mold Breaker Taunt users such as opposing Deoxys-s or Safety Goggles Mega Mewtwo X can disable Deoxys-S, forcing it out and then removing any hazards it managed to set up. Deoxys-S can just spore or taunt them first, cut it really. Also it at least has a tie for hazards

Multi-hit Move Users: Pokemon who carry Multi Hit moves, such as Pheromosa running Pin Missile, Primal Groudon running Bonemerang, or Kyurem-B running Icicle Spear, can limit Deoxys-S to a single move before it is KOed.

Fast Choice Scarf Users: Ash Greninja, Mega Diancie, and Pheromosa often carry Choice Scarf, outspeeding Deoxys-s and removing it from the game.

Moves
* Stealth Rock is the best move in the game, damaging anything that switches in and thus breaking Focus Sash and Sturdy, both of which offensive teams love to utilize
* On the other hand, Toxic Spikes can be used to wear down defensive teams easier, and it is better when another ally has an access to Stealth Rock.
* Spore puts any non-Grass-type Pokemon without Safety Goggles out of commission, giving Deoxys-s at least one free turn to do whatever it wants set hazards.
* Taunt prevents the opposing lead from setting up their own entry hazards, but forces it to switch out if an Imposter wins the speed tie and taunts it and keeps supports from using Defog.
*Spikes puts significant strain on bulkier teams, as many of the common Pokemon take minimal damage from Stealth Rock.
* Knock Off is another option to choose to remove Safety Goggles from passive foes and put them to sleep.
*Destiny Bond is a last ditch effort to take something down if Deoxys-S's health is suitably low, and is especially useful with Focus Sash, making Deoxys-S capable of supporting team other than by passively set hazards.
*Sticky Web can help to ensure that your offensive Pokemon will move first, though Deoxys-s's short time on the field is generally spent better setting up other hazards that actually deal damage

Set Details
* Timid nature ensures that Deoxys-S speed ties with opposing Deoxys-S and outspeeds all Choice Scarf users with base speed of 103 or less.

*Use Spore against slow Offensive Pokemon, such as Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre, that could otherwise set up or KO, though be very cautious of Safety Goggles, which can cause you to lose a turn. Also note that Many Poison Heal users run Spiky Shield or another similar move to ensure that their Toxic Orb activates. If you successfully predict this, you can set up hazards for free.
*Taunt is useful to shut down common Defog users, such as Giratina, though the rise of bulky spinners such as Zygarde-complete has made Defog less popular.
*Against common Rapid Spin users, switch out to your spinblocker to preserve hazards and Deoxys-s's full HP. How about talking about this in Team Options?
*Do not be overeager to reveal Destiny Bond, as the opponent can play around it to gain free turns of setup.

Team Options
* Offensive spinblockers can help keep the hazards that Deoxys-s set up on the field for a long time, while pressuring common rapid spin users such as Zygarde-Complete and Mega Gyarados. They also can pressure your opponent's spinblockers, making hazard control easier for Deoxys-S's teammates. Ghost-types, such as Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Mimickyou, are immune to Rapid Spin and can take advantage of the free turn to set up. But none of them likes to take attacks from those offensive spinners. Mention Giratina.
*Bulky wallbreakers such as Contrary Mega Rayquaza, Steelworker Kartana, Choice Band Primal Groudon, and Choice Scarf Kyurem-W can hassle users of Defog such as Aegislash, Giratina and Mega Audino. Or any sweepers / attackers that keep immensive pressure on the opposing team. Contrary sounds nice, since it punishes Defog harsh.
Assault Vest Mega Gyarados, Assault Vest Solgaleo, and Judgment Arceus can all viably run Rapid Spin without ceding too much momentum to the opposing team, while additionally absorbing Knock Off and U-Turn that would otherwise cripple Deoxys-S.

Other Options
*a Magic Bounce set is a serviceable anti-hazard lead, but its frailty prevents it from staying on the field for long, and its passivity is not conducive to an offensive team's needs.
* Lovely Kiss is another sleep-inducing move that is used to put Grass-type foes and others with Safety Goggles to sleep, but imperfect accuracy makes the option somewhat unreliable, and it leaves Deoxys-S reliant on speed tie against Imposter.
*Parting Shot allows Deoxys-S to slightly weaken a foe as it switches to a teammate, but switching a Magic Bounce Pokemon in on it gives the opponent offensive momentum.
*Knock Off can be used to ensure Deoxys-s is not total Taunt bait; it has the nice utility of removing beneficial items. I mentioned Knock Off in the main set. I think it is worthy of mention there.
*A status spreading No Guard set with Inferno, Zap Cannon and Hypnosis is a gimmicky option that can still surprise unprepared teams, as status is not as common in such an offensive metagame, but mediocre offense stats make this inferior option to other attackers such as Mega Mewtwo Y or Deoxys-A.
*Topsy-Turvy can be used to shut down a dangerous setup sweeper if it does not run a priority move, allowing Deoxys-S to Destiny Bond on it.

Offensive Entry Hazard Removers: Zygarde-Complete, Arceus, and Mega Gyarados can still trouble Deoxys-s, threatening it out with moves such as Core Enforcer, Knock off and U-turn while Rapid Spinning its hazards.
Safety Goggles: Deoxys-S is reliant to Spore to set up hazards with its horrendous typing and bulk, and the foes with Safety Goggles, especially the ones with Rapid Spin leave Deoxys-S unable to do anything. This issue can be alleviated by carrying Knock Off, however.

I am not a huge fan of Deoxys-S and I can't say I have the best feedback... but I would say good job overall. Wish I could give you 1 QC check...

Moves
* Stealth Rock is the best move in the game (extremely subjective, remove this), damaging anything that switches in and thus breaking Focus Sash and Sturdy (no one uses this, just say how it chips away at switch ins), both of which offensive teams love to utilize
* Spore puts any non-Grass-type Pokemon without Safety Goggles out of commission, giving Deoxys-s at least one free turn to do whatever it wants this turn isn't guaranteed, reword to "giving Deo-S time to start setting up entry hazards"
* Taunt prevents the opposing lead from setting up their own entry hazards (dedicated leads arent common. mention here how it stops deo from being set up on), but forces it (it < deo-s) to switch out if an Imposter ("if a Pokemon transformed into Deo-S via Imposter....") wins the speed tie and taunts it. It also prevents Defog, though many defoggers can severely punish Deoxys-s if it stays in. how? who are these defoggers? give an example of how deo is punished by a common defogger.
*Spikes puts significant strain on bulkier teams, as many of the common Pokemon take minimal damage from Stealth Rock. mention how specifically its zygarde and steels that take reduced dmg from rocks
*Destiny Bond is a last ditch effort to take something down (an opposing Pokemon down) if Deoxys-S's health is suitably low, and is especially useful with Focus Sash
*Sticky Web can help to ensure that your offensive Pokemon will move first (it slows the opponent, its not guaranteed to make ur pokemon faster, reword this), though Deoxys-s's short time on the field is generally spent better better spent setting up other hazards that than actually deal damage deal damage? sticky web doesnt do damage, last time I checked. remove that last clause. instead talk about how this move synergizes best with slow pokemon that can take advantage of the speed drop (band pdon, for instance).
*Toxic spikes is useful to wear down defensive teams, but it does not affect Steel types and grounded Poison types such as Mega Gengar can switch in to remove them. also mention how PH mons are unaffected by this.

Set Details
* Timid nature ensures that Deoxys-S speed ties with opposing Deoxys-S and outspeeds all Choice Scarf users with base speed of 103 or less.
*Mold Breaker allows Deoxys-S to set up Stealth Rock against common Magic Bounce users such as Registeel, Mega Audino or Giratina.
* If using Spore, Safety Goggles are a necessity in order to counter Imposter users (its not a necessity), though opposing Deoxys-s frequently run spore anyway reword this last bit to "in order to counter imposter users and opposing Deo-S with spore, should you lose the speed tie".
*Focus Sash is an alternative to Safety Goggles in order to ensure at least one layer of hazards, along with the possibility of a future trade using Destiny Bond safety goggles is an alternative to sash

Do not be afraid to delay your hazards if you suspect this is the case. good point, but thats a very extreme example, no one uses sets like that. replace the example with a prankster user with taunt.
*Try to keep Deoxys-s alive until your opponent's entry hazard remover, such as Giratina or Zygarde-Complete, is gone. If the opponent manages to remove the hazards, Deoxys-s can be pivoted in to set them back up, which gives you favorable pressure. realistically deo-s will not live past turn 5, since its a suicide lead. replace this point with how teams with deo-s should play aggressively to force switches, taking maximum advantage of the hazards deo-s sets up.
*Use Spore against slower offensive Pokemon, such as Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre, that could otherwise set up or KO, though be very cautious of Safety Goggles, which can cause you to lose waste a turn. Also note that many Poison Heal users run Spiky Shield or another similar move to ensure that their Toxic Orb activates. If you successfully predict this, you can set up hazards for free. the jump between talking about goggles and talking about ph is too abrupt. mention how you can't sleep ph users if they have a protect move, and then follow that up with "if you can predict this, you can set up a hazard".
*Taunt is useful to shut down common Defog users, such as Giratina, though the rise of bulky spinners such as Zygarde-C has made Defog less popular. remove this, this does not belong in usage tips. move this to the moves section, under taunt.
*Against common Rapid Spin users such as Registeel and Solgaleo, switch out to your spinblocker to preserve hazards and Deoxys-s's full HP.
*Do not be overeager to reveal Destiny Bond, as the opponent can play around it to gain free turns of setup. mention how it can fails if u use it consecutively.

Team Options
- mention how slow but strong mons like pdon or pogre appreciate sticky web support.
- mention how team mates that are good at breaking bulky cores appreciate hazards damage to secure crucial 2HKOs. dont halfass this point, this is probably the biggest reason why you'd even use this set to begin with. i want to see at least one example of a pokemon that can use spikes or rocks to get a 2hko it normally couldnt without hazards.

* Offensive spinblockers can help keep the hazards that Deoxys-s set up on the field for a long time while pressuring common rapid spin users such as Zygarde-Complete and Mega Gyarados ("by preventing the opponent from using Rapid Spin"). They also can pressure your opponent's spinblockers, making hazard control easier for Deoxys-S's teammates. (how can they pressure? with damage? with taunt? explain) Ghost-types, such as Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Mimickyou, are immune to Rapid Spin and can take advantage of the free turn to set up. Giratina is a more defensive spinblocker that can use the free turn to pivot out or inflict status. mimikyu + marshadow are worthless. use another example.
*Bulky wallbreakers such as Steelworker Kartana (Kartana is not bulky), Choice Band Primal Groudon, and Choice Scarf Kyurem-W can hassle users of Defog such as Aegislash, Giratina and Mega Audino. be more specific what u mean with hassle. they pressure with their damage. this needs to be specified.
*fast sweepers, such as Sheer Force Mega Mewtwo Y and Ash-Greninja, appreciate that Deoxys-s's hazards break Focus Sashes that would otherwise stop them ash gren is worthless, mention something like deo-a instead
* Predictive play can allow Contrary, Defiant or Competitive users to take advantage of Defog attempts to become extremely threatening. Kyurem-W, Mega Rayquaza and mega Mewtwo Y can run Contrary or Competitive sets to break through offensive teams while Primal Groudon can run Defiant to annihilate walls after a +2 boost. too niche to warrant mentioning, id remove this.
*Offensive entry hazard control is useful to keep Deoxys-s at full health so that it can utilize its Focus Sash. Assault Vest Mega Gyarados, Assault Vest Solgaleo, and Judgment Arceus can all viably run Rapid Spin without ceding too much momentum to the opposing team, while additionally absorbing Knock Off and U-Turn that would otherwise cripple Deoxys-S. deo-s is a suicide lead, it doesnt need to maintain its health. also solgaleo is no knock off switch in.

Other Options
*a Magic Bounce set is a serviceable anti-hazard lead, but its frailty prevents it from staying on the field for long, and its passivity is not conducive to an offensive team's needs.
*Magic Coat can be used to bounce back hazards against Mold Breaker users (or to reflect prankster moves), but the opponent can easily play around it once it's revealed and Deoxys-s generally does not have enough room for it.
*Rapid Spin allows Deoxys-s to control hazards by itself, but it's blocked by Ghost-types, such as Giratina and Mega Gengar, that can switch on it for free momentum that can then proceed to switch in on Deo-S and remove its hazards or heavily damage it, respectively.
*Parting Shot allows Deoxys-S to slightly weaken a foe as it switches to a teammate, but switching a Magic Bounce Pokemon in on it gives the opponent offensive momentum.
*Knock Off can be used to ensure Deoxys-s is not total Taunt bait; it has the nice utility of removing beneficial items. like what?
*A status spreading No Guard set with Inferno, Zap Cannon and Hypnosis is a gimmicky option that can still surprise unprepared teams, as status is not as common in such an offensive metagame. Stronger special attackers such as Mega Mewtwo y perform this better. not worth mentioning
*Topsy Turvy can be used to shut down a dangerous setup sweeper if it does not run a priority move, allowing Deoxys-S to Destiny Bond on it. this is what taunt is for

Checks and Counters
Priority attackers: Users of Aerilate, Pixilate, Galvanize and Refrigerate running Fake Out and Extreme Speed can dispatch Deoxys-s with their priority moves before it can do anything. Triage users such as Mega Rayquaza can prevent Deoxys-s's entry hazards from ever going up, either KOing it or gaining a free turn of setup while it switches out. mention how deo-s can live a triage hit with sash and then retaliate
Multi-hit Move Users: Pokemon who carry Multi Hit moves, such as Pheromosa running Pin Missile, Primal Groudon running Bonemerang, or Kyurem-B running Icicle Spear, can limit Deoxys-S to a single move before it is KOed. remove mentions of pheromosa
Fast Choice Scarf Users: Ash Greninja, Mega Diancie, and Pheromosa often carry Choice Scarf, outspeeding Deoxys-s and removing it from the game. remove mentions of ash gren and pheromosa, use a different example. also they dont remove it from the game if deo has sash.
Offensive Entry Hazard Removers: Zygarde-Complete, Arceus, and Mega Gyarados can still trouble Deoxys-s, threatening it out with moves such as Core Enforcer, Knock off and U-turn while Rapid Spinning its hazards.
Spore-immune Pokemon: Deoxys-s cannot afford to lose a turn doing nothing, so using Spore against a Pokemon with Safety Goggles can be very costly, as that Pokemon usually gets a free hard hit or turn of setup against Deoxys-s as a result.
implement this carefully and ill approve it

SuperSkylake there are a few things you missed, such as "- Taunt/Spikes" in move 3, and there are a few things you haven't changed at all (Spore puts any non-Grass-type Pokemon without Safety Goggles out of commission, giving Deoxys-s at least one free turn to set up entry hazards, specify 0 Attack IVs in the importable, Kartana is still mentioned as a bulky wallbreaker)

Deoxys-S analysis
Overview
*Deoxys-S is a great suicide lead for offensive teams due to its unmatched base speed of 180, allowing it to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame
*Mold Breaker gives it a high chance to set up at least one entry hazard each game, thanks to its high speed that beats everything in the metagame besides priority and Choice Scarf users. how does mold breaker do this? mention how it ignores magic bounce. also you already explained how fast it is
*Entry hazards allow Deoxys-S's teammates to KO foes more easily and chip away at the health of defensive pokemon.

* lovely miss is another option if you hate safety goggles but sometimes it misses
*Sticky Web slows down opposing Pokemon, allowing slower breakers such as Choice band Primal Groudon to move first. spore + 3 hazards is no set, this should be slashed with spikes

* lum berry is cool because most of the time deoxys will only be taking one spore or lovely miss. it also helps it handle para better

Do not be afraid to delay your hazards if you suspect this is the case. i've seen prankster taunt like once. a more common threat would be a safety goggles rapid spin user

Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza can 2hKO Registeel with Boomburst, and Sheer Force Mega Sceptile can take down primal Kyogre with Leaf Storm sheer force leaf storm ?_?, after a single layer of Spikes damage.
Assault Vest Mega Gyarados, Z Parting Shot Giratina, and Judgment Arceus can all viably run Rapid Spin without ceding too much momentum to the opposing team. this is kinda not very relevant because preserving deoxys's sash shouldn't be much of a concern
* defiant and competitive users are niche but they can work
* anti priority is big too, psychic surge mmy is a good breaker and fills this role

Other Options
*a Magic Bounce set is a serviceable anti-hazard lead, but its frailty prevents it from staying on the field for long, and its passivity is not conducive to an offensive team's needs. what does this accomplish over other bouncers
*Magic Coat can be used to bounce back hazards against Mold Breaker users or bounce back Prankster moves, but the opponent can easily play around it once it's revealed and Deoxys-s generally does not have enough room to fit it.
*Rapid Spin allows Deoxys-s to control hazards by itself, but it's blocked by Ghost-types, such as Giratina and Mega Gengar, that can switch on it and force it out or heavily damage it. also imposter
* memento turns the opponent into setup bait unless contrary
* mental herb works if you have taunt so you can beat imposter ez. beware lack of other items
* there's offensive sets i've seen on ladder like no guard that might have a niche
* phazing moves like whirlwind can be used to prevent foes from spamming spin, racking up entry hazard damage, and offering a negative priority move to be used alongside destiny bond. however it takes up a valuable moveslot

Multi-hit Move Users: Pokemon who carry Multi Hit moves, such as Primal Groudon running Bonemerang or Kyurem-B running Icicle Spear, can limit Deoxys-S to a single move before it is KOed. can't you just spore them
Fast Choice Scarf Users: Mega Diancie and Mega ewtwo X often carry Choice Scarf, outspeeding Deoxys-s and bringing it down to its Focus Sash. However, they still do not like being hit with Spore
Offensive Entry Hazard Removers: Zygarde-Complete, Arceus, and Mega Gyarados can still trouble Deoxys-s, threatening it out with moves such as Core Enforcer, Knock off, and U-turn while Rapid Spinning its hazards. those aren't very offensive mons. entry hazard removers are a big problem in general unless you have taunt and they have defog
Spore-immune Pokemon: Deoxys-s cannot afford to lose a turn doing nothing, so using Spore against a Pokemon with Safety Goggles can be very costly, as that Pokemon usually gets a fre hard hit or turn of setup against Deoxys-s as a result.
