[SET COMMENTS]
  • The combination of a great Special Attack stat, Fairy Aura, and access to STAB Moonblast lets Choice Scarf Xerneas function as one of the most threatening wallbreakers in the tier.
  • Moonblast is Xerneas's most powerful move in its arsenal, and it will be clicking it most of the time. Moonblast lets Xerneas OHKO meta staples like Mega Salamence, Offensive Yveltal, Necrozma-Ultra, Marshadow, and Palkia-Origin.
  • Thunder is great coverage for Xerneas as it lets it 2HKO Primal Kyogre, Ho-Oh, which would usually resist Xerneas's STAB Moonblast, and more niche Defensive walls like Dondozo and Toxapex. Thunder also lets Xerneas hit Steel Types like Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM.
  • Aromatherapy and Defog let Xerneas not only support itself, but support its team. The latter of the two allows for Xerneas to switch in and out more freely, removing the choice lock, and bring in a teammate more suited for the situation that does not want to deal with hazards.
  • Thunder Wave is nice for checking offensive threats by crippling their speed and attacking consistency before switching out.
  • Primal Kyogre synerizes exceptionally well with Xerneas because it can hit both Primal Groundon and Ho-Oh, Xerneas's 2 most common checks. Partnering Xerneas along with mons like Ferrothorn and Deoxys-S for hazards is also great to help chip away at these checks too. Hazards shouldn't usually be used with Defog though, so Aromatherapy is recommended when using hazard support.
  • Choice Scarf Xerneas can fit well on to a number of teams, but it fits best onto Hyper Offense and Bulkier Offense teams. Xerneas is often going to act in the same role though, outspeeding opponents and putting them in danger immediately while also supporting the team and pivoting out when needed, contrary to the Geomancy set where pivoting out is discouraged.
  • Timid Nature lets Xerneas outspeed the vast majority of the meta game when holding a Choice Scarf, and Modest Nature will let it pick up more consistent KOs, most notably gaining the ability to OHKO offensive Arceus-Dark with Moonblast and OHKO Specially Bulky Zygarde, denying it opportunity to Power Construct.
  • Tera Electric works well to further increase the power of Thunder and turn the steel weakness into a resistance. Tera Electric also gives you a much more solid matchup into Ho-Oh. Tera Fairy is an option if you want to deal out as much damage as possible, allowing you to 2HKO bulky Arceus-Ground with Moonblast and OHKO opposing Xerneas with Moonblast after a bit of chip, both with a Modest Nature.

Hello MrAmbassador, I appreciate your effort to try to contribute for this subforum, but I'm afraid I'll have to QC reject this, not only this spreads misinformation on the placement of Choice Scarf Xerneas in the tier (it's not even a wallbreaker but rather a speed control option), Moonblast does not require detailing as it's self-explanatory on being a strong STAB enhanced by Fairy Aura (see? This is mere dex info), there's no mention about this set being walled by Primal Groudon, a very relevant Pokemon, most correct information after this is also similarly unecessary by redundancy with stuff already covered in the dex, specially bulky Zygarde does not exist in this metagame, having entry hazards on a team does not translate to Defog becoming unviable, the teammates section is quite lacking and barely accurate (which includes the Primal Groudon concern), hazard setters do not help against Ho-Oh as it's immune to them usually by having Heavy-Duty Boots, there's no mention on this Xerneas set being a good revenge killer, and as I'm aware you've been told already elsewhere, analyses don't use the word "you" in general.

There's also some glaring grammar/prose issues that in total with the previous stuff would basically require rewriting the whole analysis, such as accidentally implying that using Defog removes the move choice lock, and the bullet points being almost entirely out of order, that combined with your reputation so far also leans on this being more of a negative than a positive, as much you're trying otherwise.

It'd be really appreciated if you familiarized yourself further with the spelling and grammar standards expected here, and tried to look at well done analyses within a given metagame's C&C section to have a better idea of the general wording desired.

Locking this, feel free to DM me for any concerns!
