VS

<Golurk> [Bruticus] (Sex = Useless]
Nature: Quiet (+1 Sp.Attack, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type: Ghost / Ground

Ghost: Ghost STAB; immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag abilities. Ghost types can switch out while affected by a partial trapping move, but they will be damaged every action by their effect.

Ground: Ground STAB; immune to Sandstorm. Ignores Arena restrictions on Dig and Seismic Attacks for Arenas in which any land mass exists, Evasive Digging reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

About: The fusion of five Decepticons that somehow found himself in the Smogon region. Yay for short descriptions.
Abilites:

Iron Fist (Passive):

The Base Attack Power of this Pokemon's "Punch" attacks is increased by two (2). (Known attacks affected: Bullet Punch, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Drain Punch, Dynamic Punch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Meteor Mash, Shadow Punch, Sky Uppercut, Thunder Punch, Power-Up Punch)

Klutz (Toggle):

By default, the Pokemon moves in a rare style of battling that uses an unpredictable, clumsy looking manner. The accuracy of its attacks is increased by 10% (flat). While engaging in this style it cannot use ahold item, though an item is necessary to pull it off. If the Pokemon also has No Guard, under this style the Pokemon will ignore the evasive penalty of No Guard, resetting incoming moves to their usual accuracy. When toggled, there is no effect.

No Guard (Hidden Ability UNLOCKED, Passive):

This Pokemon has an immense confidence from perfecting each of its attacks, giving them all perfect accuracy as well as ignoring the effects of Double Team, evasive moves, Dodge, Sky Drop, and evasive damaging moves. As a result, it feels it can weather every strike, and will not dodge an attack even if ordered to. Only when an OHKO move is issued by the opponent does the Pokemon sense return, and the Pokemon acts normally. Additionally, even with their extra skill, the power and exhaustion involved in using OHKO moves prevents them from being benefited by No Guard; they will have their normal accuracy.

<Lanturn> (Solomon) (M)
Nature: Modest (+1 SpA, -1 Atk)

Type: Water / Electric

Water: Water STAB; Ignores arena restrictions on Water attacks that require an external water source. Evasive Diving reduced from 6 per action Energy Cost to 5 per action.

Electric: Electric STAB; immune to paralysis status.

About: In the 19th century, a lone pokemon was abandoned by his trainer. Travelling without a destination, Solomon was attacked by a wild Parasect on the swamps. After suffering heavy damage and having his body almost entirely paralysed by the beast's spores, Solomon fell on the lake and died from his injures.
Several years later, the water type woke up, with very little resemblance on his former life and having no idea how he got there, he wandered for months on his own, eventualy meeting with Matezoide and getting caught.
The years spent ''dead'' greatly damaged Solomon's mind, reducing his inteligence and his ability to speak, but is surprisigly happy. The very first thing Solomon remembered is that he was ''born on a monday'', which led to Twilight to naming him after the poem, Solomon Grundy.
Upon evolving, Grundy realised he has no soul, which explains the ''empty'' feeling he always had, the Lanturn is currently looking for ways to recover it.

Abilities:

Volt Absorb (Passive):: This Pokemon absorbs all electrical attacks and instead of taking damage, recovering 50% of the damage an electrical attack would have done. A Pokemon that attacks itself with electricity to heal only recieves 25% of the damage that attack would do to itself. Thunder Wave has no effect on the Pokemon.
Illuminate (Toggle):

Default effect: None.

Alternative effect: This Pokemon emits a continuous light that brightens the environment and makes it easier for all Pokemon to see. While this ability is active, any darkened or twilight state in the battle is negated and all moves used by any Pokemon (friend or foe, or itself) have their accuracy increased by 10% (flat). Boosts from multiple Illuminates do not stack.

Water Absorb (HIDDEN ABILITY UNLOCKED Passive): This Pokemon absorbs water attacks and instead of taking damage from them, recovering 50% of the damage the water attack would have done. A Pokemon that attacks itself with water to heal only recieves 25% of the damage that attack would do to itself.

<Espeon> (Pinkie Pie) [Female]
Nature: Bold (- Atk, +Defense)
Type: Psychic

Normal: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

About: An old friend of Twilight, Pinkie represents the Element of Laughter. Always smiling and cheerful, the Eevee can not stop thinking about her next party, although she can be extremely forceful and/or annoying, she ultimately means the best for everyone.

Abilities:

Synchronize (Passive):

Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and when inflicted by the major status ailments Burn, Poison, or Paralysis, will share their status condition with the opponent. Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.
Magic Bounce (Passive):
This Pokemon has a Psychic sense that allows it to ward off non-damaging attacks as soon as they are launched, directing them back at the user.

"The Psychic-types start off by launching super effective moves at each other. After a Shadow Ball and a Knock Off, Espeon is a smidge worse off."

"I guess Reuniclus doesn't need it's arms connected after all..."

"Espeon, perhaps angry that's it's Solar Ray got knocked off, just straight up bites one of Reuniclus' arms."

"Feisty"

"However, one of Reuniclus' arms is still free, so it's able to blast Espeon with a powerful Flash Cannon, knocking it right off it's arm."

"Smart.... Hmm, Psychic-types are pretty smart, huh? Like Liz is?"

"I think some of that is partially gained intelligence, too. Anyway, Espeon regroups and launches a Shadow Ball at Reuniclus, doing a bit of damage, while Reuniclus retaliates with an Energy Ball, dealing a similar amount of damage."

"After this round, Espeon has been weakened quite a bit, with less than half of it's HP left and it's boosting item gone. On the other hand, Reuniclus is sitting pretty at about 65% of it's HP and item intact. Will Espeon be able to turn the tables, or will Reuniclus grow it's lead?"

"JEEZ, LIZ, WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!"

"I second that question."

"I Teleported over here when I sense a battle between two fellow Psychic-types. I decided to watch."

"Okay then..."

If Espeon is in the evasive stage of a D/E move when you would attack, use Acid Armor on the first instance and Recover on the second.
If Espeon would use Light Screen, use Snatch on the first instance, and on the second change actions to Ice Punch-Knock Off.
If Espeon uses Yawn, use Protect, but not consecutively.

"Well, while you're here, how do you think this round will go?"

"There are a plethora of routes each Pokemon and their trainer could take in order to achieve to victory. It comes down to whichever route is the most efficient."

"Yeah, I didn't get any of that."

"I think she means that both sides have many options."

"...Why didn't she just say it like that then? Why do you have to confuse me with your scholarly talk, Lizzie?"

"It is not my intention to confuse you, Pollyanna. If that was my goal, I would use Confuse Ray."

"Oh, don't get smart with me."

"Espeon kicks it off by Biding it's time"

"A wise decision by Espeon's trainer. If Espeon is able to Endure the onslaught of attacks coming from Reuniclus, it will deal back the damage tenfold. Or, more accurately, 1.75-fold."

"Okay, how did she know that?"

*Shrug*

"Reuniclus hits Espeon with a very powerful Shadow Ball, a critical hit in fact, but this just adds to Espeon's incoming Bide attack."

"Right. Reuniclus, possibly realizing this, hits Espeon with a weaker Infestation, getting nameless creepy-crawlies to nibble away at Espeon."

"'Creepy-Crawlies.' Quite the official term there, trainer. *giggles*"

"Infestation is a nasty move... I couldn't imagine how that feels, jeez..."

"An extremely tired and beat up Espeon finally unleashes it's energy in one huge... uh, energy blast, sending Reuniclus flying and forming a huge smoke cloud!"

"Yeah, that's a fainted Reuniclus..."

"I wouldn't be so quick to judge, Pollyanna."

"Why's that?"

"Hmm... Oh, a Shadow Ball has come out of the smoke cloud! Aaaaand, it's made direct contact with Espeon, taking it down and netting Complications the battle's first KO!"

"Huh. How could anyone survive a blast that strong, though?!"

"And as the smoke clears... Reuniclus is up, though barely afloat and is clearly on it's last, non-existent, legs."

"Well, we now know not to judge before the smoke clears.
Anyhow, Complications comes to an early lead, but with Reuniclus on such low HP, time will tell if he'll be able to hold on to it. How with Matezoide bounce back from this? Let's wait and see."

"Since this round was over quickly, I will do the liberty of explaining what happened quickly.
Reuniclus tried protecting itself from further harm to stall out at least one more round before fainting. Golurk's trainer, knowing that this would happen, orders Golurk to use a Status move to take advantage of the free turn. The status move of choice was Stealth Rock, a hazard-setting move. But, as the pointed stones came out of Golurk's cannon-like hands and near Reuniclus, the stones were suddenly flung back toward Golurk, landing nicely around it. What was thought to be Protect turned out to be a smart use of a combination by merging Protect and Magic Cot, preventing damage and harmful status moves of all kind, allowing to provide for it's team for one more turn. After this, Golurk lightly taps Reuniclus, KOing the tired Psychic Pokemon."

If successful Protective/Evasive action, Phantom Force that action the first time and chill the second.
If Gigalith is to use Swagger and Gigalith is not confused and you are not confused, Magic Coat that action

"This isn't looking very favorable for us, Optimus."

"Indeed, it looks like this battle is reaching its final chapter."

"It may seem that way, but sometimes you just need to Turn the Page."

Made a mistake and calculated the damages without considering that Klutz deactivates Golurk's Rare Candy, meaning that Gigalith has 1 more HP. If that effects either of your orders, tell me, but for now, this is the round as it is (in the Atk rank, it said that Golurk's was treated as R5, but I re-ran the calcs and they were treated as R6).

"Golurk seems to have really put a dent in Gigalith! Wonder how Complications will handle this..."

"I'd expect a giant.... that to put a dent in SOMETHING."

"Size is not a factor in the strength of a Pokemon. Notorious D.I.G., an Excadrill, is a mere 2'11" yet has equal physical strength to, well, you, Pollyanna."

"...Why must you make me look like an idiot ALL the time, Lizzie?"

"She's just proving a point, nothing personal."

"Yeah, yeah, but this happens EVERY TIME, like, can I breathe please?"

"Well, I do believe you ar-"

"DON'T YOU DARE FINISH THAT SENTENCE"
