[SET COMMENTS]
  • Toxic Spikes allow Eternatus to easily break down teams with its unique trait to easily set hazards against the most popular Defoggers in the tier, Ho-Oh and Giratina-O. Toxic can be used to easily chip down threats such as Calm Mind Primal Kyogre without Rest, Yveltal, and Arceus, and function as guaranteed permanent damage against the likes of defensive Arceus formes without Refresh, Primal Groudon, and Ho-Oh.
  • Dynamax Cannon gives consistent damage against opposing Eternatus trying to absorb Toxic Spikes, Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and Zygarde.
  • Flamethrower can punish Steel-types such as Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM trying to use Eternatus as setup fodder. Mystical Fire is another move that can help punish Steel-types but can also keep Calm Mind Arceus formes in check and weaken Xerneas in a pinch. However, Mystical Fire, unlike Flamethrower, misses a 2HKO on an incoming Zacian-C after Stealth Rock.
  • Heavy-Duty Boots is another option for the item slot, as it allows for Eternatus to have better longevity in longer games and spread poisoning more efficiently without having to worry about damage from Spikes and Stealth Rock. However, without Leftovers, a Sacred Fire burn from Ho-Oh will be more permanent damage, and Ice Beam from Primal Kyogre will be a lot harder to tank.
  • Eternatus’s Speed EVs allows it to outspeed fully invested Yveltal, however, it can also opt to outrun fully invested Primal Kyogre in exchange for some bulk by running 44 Speed EVs with a calm nature. An alternate EV spread of 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 Spe with a Timid nature makes it possible to outrun fully invested Arceus formes, while 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 Spe allows Timid Eternatus to be faster than Marshadow and to take Poltergeist from Marshsadow and Extreme Speed from Arceus better in exchange for badly poisoning the target or setting up Toxic Spikes. However, in exchange to having more physical bulk, Eternatus loses a lot of special bulk and has a harder time to check other threats such as Kyogre-Primal and Yveltal.
  • Tera Fairy allows Eternatus to take on Palkia-O, Life Orb variants of Yveltal, and Giratina-O better, however, Tera Water allows Eternatus to improve its matchup against Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, and Arceus-Ground.
  • Eternatus loves trying to set up Toxic Spikes early-game to cripple foes such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, defensive Arceus formes, and Xerneas. It often does not want to Terastallize, as it loses out on an important Toxic immunity and resistances, and its allies often make better use of it. Ho-Oh without Thunder Wave is a common target for Eternatus to switch into and start making progress.
  • Pressure allows Eternatus to get up Toxic Spikes against Ho-Oh easier, as Ho-Oh will be forced to use Defog significantly less. Pressure also allows Eternatus to PP stall different moves such as Water Spout from Primal Kyogre, and Judgment from Arceus-Fairy.
  • Ho-Oh is an excellent teammate for Eternatus, as it can Whirlwind out foes when Toxic Spikes are on the field. Arceus-Dark can also patch up some weaknesses by making sure that Necrozma-DM and Mega Mewtwo Y stay in check, since they tend to take advantage of Eternatus for setup opportunities. Zygarde is another excellent teammate that can keep powerful threats such as Primal Groudon and Marshadow in check, allowing for Eternatus to stay in the game for longer. Yveltal is another good partner for Eternatus, as it not only checks Ultra Necrozma but also gives a valuable Ground-type immunity.

  • Toxic Spikes allow Eternatus to easily break down teams with its unique trait to easily set hazards against the most popular defoggers in the tier.
( mention some maybe?) Toxic can be used to easily chip down set up sweepers such as Calm Mind Primal Kyogre ( non-rest pogre), and function as guaranteed permanent damage against the likes of defensive Arceus formes, Primal Groudon, or Ho-Oh.
  • Dynamax Cannon gives consistent damage against opposing Eternatus trying to absorb Toxic Spikes, Ho-Oh, Primal Groudon, and Zygarde. Meanwhile, Flamethrower or Mystical Fire can punish steel types such as Zacian-C or Necrozma-DM trying to use Eternatus as fodder. ( they do different things, i would add another point for mystical hitting xerneas and some cm arc forms)
  • Eternatus speed allows it to outspeed Jolly Yveltal, however, it can also opt to outrun Timid Primal Kyogre in exchange for some bulk by running 44 Speed EVs with a neutral nature. If needed, it can also try to outrun Arceus formes by using 176 Speed EVs and a positive nature or outrun Matshadow with 216 Speed EVs and a positive nature.
An alternate EV spread of 176 HP / 240 Def / 92 Spe with a Timid nature makes it possible to outrun Arceus formes, while 40 HP/ 252 SpD/ 216 Spe allows Timid Eternatus to be faster than Marshadow.
  • Tera fairy allows Eternatus to take on Palkia-O, Yveltal( Usually eternatus shouldnt tera in front of yveltal, since it can act as a knock absorber) , and Giratina-O better, and tera water allows Eternatus to improve its matchup against Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, and Arceus-Ground.
  • Eternatus loves trying to set up Toxic Spikes early in a game to cripple foes such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, or Xerneas( also all arceus forms minus ekiller). It often does not want to Terastallize as it loses out on an important toxic immunity and resistances. Ho-Oh is a common target for Eternatus to switch in on( mention twave), and start making progress.
  • Ho-Oh is an excellent teammate for Eternatus, as it can whirlwind out foes when Toxic Spikes are on the field. Arceus-Dark can also patch up some weaknesses by making sure that Necrozma-DM and Mega Mewtwo Y stay in check, as they often like using Eternatus to set up on since they tend to take advantage of Eternatus for setup opportunities Zygarde is another excellent teammate who can keep powerful threats such as Primal Groudon, Zacian( are you sure about this?) , and Marshadow in check allowing for Eternatus to stay in the game for longer. (Also yveltal is a good partner since it can take care of necro dusk with fp)

I would also mention boots as an item since it can help in the hazard stack mu

  • Mystical Fire is another move which can help punish steel types Steel-types, but can also keep Calm Mind Arceus formes in check, and can weaken Xerneas in a pinch. Mention 2HKOs not reached by Mystical Fire that are reached by Flamethrower, also remove the mention of Flamethrower in the previous bullet point and then merge it here, Flamethrower isn't competing with Dynamax Cannon for a moveslot
  • Eternatus's speed Speed EVs allows it to outspeed fully invested Jolly Yveltal there are Jolly Yveltal sets that don't run max Speed, however, it can also opt to outrun Timid fully invested Primal Kyogre Timid isn't in a standard set, so it's best to be specific in exchange for some bulk by running 44 Speed EVs with a neutral nature. An alternate EV spread of 176 HP / 240 Def / 92 Spe with a Timid nature makes it possible to outrun Arceus formes Which? This does not outspeed fully invested Arceus, and I'll remind that speed creeping speed tiers not based on either no EVs or max EVs isn't allowed for analyses, so that probably has to be removed, while 40 HP/ 252 SpD/ 216 Spe allows Timid Eternatus to be faster than Marshadow. Marshadow 2HKOs with Poltergeist, so you wouldn't want to bring this in against Marsh in the first place, at least not with that spread, especially as it can't OHKO Marsh either.
  • Tera fairy Fairy allows Eternatus to take on Palkia-O, Life Orb variants of Yveltal, and Giratina-O better, and tera water Tera Water allows Eternatus to improve its matchup against Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, and Arceus-Ground.
  • Eternatus loves trying to set up Toxic Spikes early in a game early-game to cripple foes such as Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, defensive Arceus formes, and Xerneas. It often does not want to Terastallize as it loses out on an important toxic Toxic immunity and resistances. Ho-Oh without Thunder Wave is a common target for Eternatus to switch in on into, and start making progress.
Add a bullet point mentioning the usability of Pressure to PP stall moves such as Defog and ocasionally Sacred Fire from Ho-Oh in long games, in particular to keep Toxic Spikes up.
  • Ho-Oh is an excellent teammate for Eternatus, as it can whirlwind Whirlwind out foes when Toxic Spikes are on the field. Arceus-Dark can also patch up some weaknesses by making sure that Necrozma-DM and Mega Mewtwo Y stay in check, since they tend to take advantage of Eternatus for setup opportunities. Zygarde is another excellent teammate who can keep powerful threats such as Primal Groudon and Marshadow in check, add comma allowing for Eternatus to stay in the game for longer. Yveltal is another good partner for Eternatus as it not only checks Ultra Necrozma, but also gives a valuable ground Ground-type immunity.
  • Heavy-Duty Boots is another option for the item slot as it allows for Eternatus to have better longevity in longer games, and spread poisoning more efficiently without having to worry about damage from Spikes and Stealth Rock.

The stuff left mainly concerns GP stage at this point, so you may move it to QC 2/2 now, good work

Eternatus’s Speed EVs allows it to outspeed fully invested Yveltal, however, it can also opt to outrun fully invested Primal Kyogre in exchange for some bulk by running 44 Speed EVs with a neutral nature what's the suggested spread+nature? This implies on first read to be less bulky, but it's actually more bulky, so what sort of bulk benchmarks does doing this hit that justify losing that yveltal outspeed?. An alternate EV spread of 80 HP / 252 Def / 176 Spe with a Timid nature makes it possible to outrun fully invested Arceus formes, while 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 Spe allows Timid Eternatus to be faster than Marshadow, and is able to take Poltergeist from Marshsadow, and Extreme Speed from Arceus better in exchange for badly poisoning the target, or setting up Toxic Spikes. This should mention the tradeoff of dropping all special defense investment and most hp investment
