Here is the team:
Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Spirit Break
- Parting Shot
grimmsnarl is the support/screen setter of that team. He is also a physical wall.
i gave him parting shot, so he can switch out after setting up screens, whil still lower an enemys stats.
spirit break is just over all a good move on him.
Amoonguss @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Clear Smog
- Rage Powder
- Protect
- Spore
amoonguss is supposed to be like a special tank.
I added him, because i saw that he has a good synergy with grimmsnarl.
He has Water as his tera type, so he can also survive against fire stuff.
Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Nasty Plot
- Protect
i added hydreigon because of its synergy with grimmsnarl, and as a strong wallbreaker.
i gave him protect, so i can bait out a move, thats strong against hydreigon.
he has the tera type dark, so he can deal even more damage with dark pulse.
Gholdengo @ Metal Coat
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Protect
i added gholdengo due to its synergy with hydreigon. Its also just in a very strong spot in the meta right now.
it has metal coat, so it can deal even more damage with make it rain.
it has protect for the same reason why hydreigon has it. Also its a strong switch in against fairy types.
Tauros-Paldea-Aqua (M) @ Mirror Herb
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Wave Crash
- Aqua Jet
- Protect
i added it because i had no idea how i could round off this team, and i found this while looking for a good option.
also its a good way to deal with metal pokemons.
it has mirror herb so i can just switch it in against something that uses sword dance or bellydrum (if it still exists in gen9)
Garganacl @ Leftovers
Ability: Purifying Salt
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Salt Cure
- Recover
garganacl is just another random pokemon that i thought off. I just like to play some defensive pokemon that also can deal some decent damage.
it has body press, so i can still kill steel type walls even after tauros is dead.
iron defense is just a nice move on it overall. Ig.
