[OVERVIEW]

Jumpluff is a niche Pokemon in the PU tier due to its ability to provide utility support for its teammates. Access to a nice Speed tier and great utility moves, makes it an excellent supporter and pivot, with moves such as Sleep Powder, Memento, and U-turn granting more opportunities for teammates to sweep, and separates it from other Grass-types in the tier. Jumpluff also sports a decent typing that gives it an immunity to Toxic Spikes and Spikes and resistances to Water, Fighting, and Grass, though a weakness to Stealth Rock can hamper Jumpluff's longevity. However, Jumpluff's typing also gives it quite a few weaknesses, including a nasty 4x weakness to Ice and 2x weaknesses to Fire and Flying. On top of this, Jumpluff is quite frail and can't do much outside of its support role. Jumpluff also can't afford to hold an item such as Leftovers because it needs a boosted Arcobatics, which even then is very weak due to its abysmal Attack stat. Lastly, despite Jumpluff's good Speed stat, it's in a crowded Speed tier and contends with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu, Alolan Dugtrio, and Archeops.

Moves
========

U-turn lets Jumpluff pivot out to other team members after it uses Sleep Powder and punish switches from the opponent. Acrobatics is Jumpluff's strongest STAB attack, hitting Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Passimian, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant quite hard. Sleep Powder eases setup for Jumpluff's teammates and shuts down slower foes such as Mesprit. Memento cripples the foe and provides a teammate such as Carracosta or Zangoose with a setup opportunity. Seed Bomb can be used over Memento to hit bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Lanturn, Carracosta, Golem, and Gastrodon for super effective damage, but Memento is almost always better because Jumpluff is very weak.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed investment with a Jolly nature allows Jumpluff to outspeed the majority of the tier and Speed tie with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Archeops and Alolan Raichu. The remaining EVs are placed into Attack to give Jumpluff somewhat of an offensive presence. No item is used to double Acrobatics's power, and Infiltrator allows Jumpluff to hit Pokemon that commonly run Substitute such as Oricorio-G.

Usage Tips
========

Jumpluff will generally come onto the field a few times and use Sleep Powder or pivot around the opposing team before it uses Memento. Jumpluff should use Sleep Powder to incapacitate slower foes like Mesprit or pivot out on its checks like Ferroseed, with U-turn being used before Memento. Be wary of using Sleep Powder if the opponent has Pokemon such as Ferroseed, as it will ruin your momentum. Try switching Jumpluff in on resisted attacks from passive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Gastrodon, since you can shut them down with Sleep Powder. If the opponent has a Grass-type or you predict an obvious switch to one of Jumpluff's checks like Aggron, use U-turn to keep up momentum. Once Jumpluff is low on health and has supported the team, you can sacrifice it by going for Momento to give free setup to a teammate like Zangoose or Carracosta.

Team Options
========

Jumpluff will likely be doing a good bit of pivoting in and out throughout the match with U-turn, so entry hazard removal is beneficial to ensure it doesn't get worn down. Assault Vest Hitmonchan in particular is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can offensively check Ice-, and Steel-, and Fire-types such as Abomasnow, Aggron, and Choice Scarf Pyroar for Jumpluff. Setup sweepers such as Jynx and Carracosta are also good teammates because they appreciate the Memento support that Jumpluff provides making setup easier. Other Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, pair well with Jumpluff; the likes of Eelektross and Mesprit complete good VoltTurn cores. Eelektross soft checks a lot of special attackers and provides Knock Off support along with ways to deal with Pokemon such as Lanturn and Regirock. Mesprit on the other hand offers Stealth Rock support and a way to check physical attackers. Lastly, Jumpluff struggles immensely with Ice-type Pokemon, so a teammate that can handle Abomasnow such as Pyroar is appreciated.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A set with Substitute, Strength Sap, and Leech Seed sounds appealing because it annoys common switch-ins like Aggron and grants unique setup opportunities, but it's super passive and isn't worth using. A Swords Dance set can boost Jumpluff's Attack by two stages but setup opportunities are hard to find and Jumpluff is still pretty weak at +2. Encore would allow Jumpluff to lock the foe into a non-damaging move and force a switch but fitting it into Jumpluff's moves is difficult.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf users such as Pyroar and Jynx can revenge kill Jumpluff due to its mediocre bulk, with Pyroar easily OHKOing it with Flamethrower and Jynx grabbing an easy OHKO with Ice Beam. Pokemon such as Floatzel and Lycanroc naturally outspeed Jumpluff and can also score easy KOs with Ice Beam and Stone Edge.

**Sleep-immune Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Ferroseed, Magmortar, and Drampa can easily switch into a Sleep Powder because their typing or abilities grant them an immunity to sleep-inducing moves. However, the former has to be at a high amount of HP to threaten Jumpluff, as Acrobatics does a good chunk, especially to Magmortar after Stealth Rock.

**Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-types check Jumpluff with ease, due to their resistances to both of Jumpluff's STAB moves in Acrobatics and Seed Bomb. Aggron can take any attack from Jumpluff, set up Stealth Rock, or force it out with Head Smash. Ferroseed is immune to Sleep Powder and can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. While these Pokemon check Jumpluff, it is important to note that Jumpluff can pivot out with U-turn or use Memento and setup with a teammate against the latter.

**Ice-type Pokemon**: STAB Ice-type moves coming from Rotom-F and Choice Scarf Jynx are efficient ways to deal with Jumpluff. Ice Shard from Pokemon like Abomasnow can also be very dangerous.

**Stealth Rock**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn.

Hey Tjay!

So we've decided that we'd rather have the pivot set used over the Swords Dance set, because we believe that the SD set just doesn't do enough in the current meta due to how weak initially and even after a boost. Here's the set we'd like you to use instead;

name: Fast Pivot
move 1: U-Turn
move 2: Acrobatics
move 3: Sleep Powder
move 4: Memento / Seed Bomb
item: None
ability: Infiltrator
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

I'd also strongly suggest you re-read parts of this analysis, as it's lacking in quality in several areas (most evident by reading the overview). I'd recommend tagging this as WIP again as you'll be changing a decent amount of the analysis.

Thanks!

  • Acrobatics is Jumpluff's strongest STAB attack that hits Fighting-, and Grass-type Pokemon such as Passimian, Hitmonchan and Lilligant for super effective damage.
  • Memento is useful for sacrificing Jumpluff to provide a free setup opportunity for threats such as Carracosta and Liligant.
  • Sleep Powder eases setup for Jumpluff's teammates and shuts down slower foes such as Qwilfish.
  • Seed Bomb is nice for hitting bulky Water,- and Ground-types such as Lanturn, Carracosta, Golem and Gastrodon.

  • Jumpluff will generally find more opportunities to use Sleep Powder on slower foes such as Mesprit.
  • Jumpluff can force out Fighting-type Pokemon such as Gurdurr and Hitmontop, which is a great opportunity to use Sleep Powder or pivot out with U-turn.
  • Its best for Jumpluff to use Memento when weakened, as this allows it to safely bring in a teammate.
  • Do not recklessly switch Jumpluff into attacks because it is extremely frail and can't take many hits, especially if entry hazards are on the field.
  • Try not to use Sleep Powder recklessly, as it has shaky accuracy and grants free switches to Pokemon that are immune to Sleep-inducing moves such as Magmortar and Drampa.
Team Options
========
  • Entry hazard setters such as Mesprit and Defensive Carracosta are good partners for Jumpluff. Spikes in particular work well with Jumpluff, as it weakens most of Jumpluff's grounded checks and eases sweeping for setup sweepers.
  • Entry hazard removers such as Skuntank and Hitmonchan work well with Jumpluff, as it is weak to Stealth Rock. Hitmonchan in particular is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can check Fire-, Ice-, and Steel-types such as Pyroar, Abomasnow and Aggron for Jumpluff. In return, Jumpluff can check Ground-types such as Gastrodon and Palossand for Skuntank while weakening Hitmonchan's checks such as Mesprit and Musharna.
  • Setup sweepers such as Liligant, Carracosta and Kingler apperciate the memento support that Jumpluff provides since setting up becomes easier.
  • Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, such as Eelektross and Mesprit, can provide good VoltTurn cores with Jumpluff.
  • Wallbreakers such as Kangaskhan, Kingler, and Magmortar can greatly benefit Jumpluff, as they can weaken its checks and counters with their massive offensive presence.

**Priority**: Powerful priority users such as Abomasnow, Kangashan and Lycanroc can hinder Jumpluff with their respective priority moves due to Jumpluff's frail defenses.

**Stealth Rocks**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn.

**Sleep immune Pokemon**: Magmortar and Drampa can switch into Sleep Powder because their abillites grant them immunitees to sleep-inducing moves. **Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-types check Jumpluff with ease, granting them resistances to both of Jumpluff's STAB moves in Acrobatics and Seed Bomb. Aggron can take any attack from Jumpluff, set up Stealth Rock or force it out with Head Smash. Togedemaru takes Jumpluff's attacks with ease and can hit it back with Zing Zap or opt to gain gain momentum with U-turn. Ferroseed can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. Maybe mention Pawniard since Memento gets it to +2, Metang can block Memento, Klang can take advantage of being put to sleep with Sleep Talkand is also immune to Memento too. up to you to add this though as they aren't that common.

**Ice-type Pokemon**: STAB Ice-type moves coming from Rotom-Frost and Choice Scarf Jynx are efficient ways to deal with Jumpluff. Ice Shard from Pokemon like Abomasnow can also be threatening. Pokemon with Ice-type coverage such as Zebstrika and Manetric can deal with Jumpluff too.

I'd talk more about frailty and how it just doesn't really do much outside of a bit of team support, those seem way more relevant to how jumpluff actually plays/functions than priority. Lastly, despite Jumpluff's good speed tier, it has to compete contend maybe? compete implies for the same team slot, which they don't really with other base 110 Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu, Alolan Dugtrio, and Archeops.

No item is used are you using no item? or should it be more like you opt to not hold one? idk more of a GP thing but that sounds wrong to double Acrobatics's power, and Infiltrator allows Jumpluff to hit Pokemon that have access to Substitute such as Oricorio-G.

i mean all this really has to do is go over how to support ur team and it doesn't even really do that. how does none of this talk about pivoting or go into uturn/memento/generally how u want to play this mon at all? the rest of the analysis is fine, no major complaints, but this is seriously deficient

Hitmonchan, in particular, is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can check Fire-, Ice-, and Steel-types such as Pyroar, Abomasnow, and Aggron for Jumpluff hitmon the fire check? it's really not much of one when AV takes 45% from AV mag, but u gotta at least qualify AV chan for that to work. In return, Jumpluff can check Ground-types such as Gastrodon and Palossand for Skuntank what? you were just talking about hitmonchan. when did for skuntank come in? while weakening Hitmonchan's checks such as Mesprit and Musharna. Setup sweepers such as Liligant and Carracosta are good teammates because they appreciate the memento support that Jumpluff provides since setting up becomes easier. Other Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, like Eelektross and Mesprit, provide good VoltTurn cores with Jumpluff. Additionally, wallbreakers such as Kangaskhan, and Magmortar greatly benefit Jumpluff, as they can weaken its checks and counters with their massive offensive presence not sold on this, it seems like a "i gotta pad out TO" point. jumpluff doesn't really need its defensive checks weakened, it's balls offensively and should be pivoting out on all the things that wall it. Lastly, Jumpluff struggles immensely with Ice-type Pokemon, so teammates that can handle Abomosnow such as Pyroar is appreciated.

Checks and Counters
=================== my preferred order here is faster/sleep immune/steel/ice/rocks, idm if that's changed a little but the current order is incredibly confusing

**Priority**: Powerful priority users such as Abomasnow, Kangashan and Lycanroc can hinder Jumpluff with their respective priority moves due to Jumpluff's frail defenses. honestly I'd delete this point. abomasnow goes in ice types, lycanroc goes in faster pokemon (and they're both already there!) and kanga is lol

**Stealth Rocks**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn. id like to see something specific about this especially sucking because u do so much pivoting

**Sleep immune Pokemon**: Magmortar and Drampa pokemon such as? it's not like these are the only sleep immune mons that check pluff, but the whole way this is written seems to imply that they are can switch into Sleep Powder because their abillites grant them immunitees to sleep-inducing moves. However, the former have to be at a high amount of HP to threaten Jumpluff, as Acrobatics does a good chunk, especially to Magmortar after Stealth Rocks.

Ferroseed can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. idk why u need to go into the specifics of aggron or togedemaru, it's much less relevant than the really important details left out here like how having these defensive switchins doesnt matter a ton because pluff can uturn/memento on the switch, or how ferro is immune to sleep

U-turn offers a pivoting move to allow Jumpluff to get its teammates in safely or switch out of an unfavorable matchup (I wouldn't say safely, or at least not the way you've worded it. it's a fast u-turner meaning it's almost certainly going to go first, allowing the opponent to hit whatever comes in. it can be used to pivot on things after putting them to sleep or forcing them out however). Acrobatics is Jumpluff's strongest STAB attack hitting Fighting-, and Grass-type Pokemon such as Passimian, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant quite hard. Memento is preferred over Seed Bomb because it cripples the foe and provides a teammate such as Carracosta or Lilligant (lilligant mentioned twice back to back, you also wouldn't really run these two together) with a setup opportunity. Sleep Powder also eases setup for Jumpluff's teammates and shuts down slower foes such as Qwilfish (switch this with the above sentence to match the set). Seed Bomb can be used over Memento to hit bulky Water,- and Ground-types such as Lanturn, Carracosta, Golem, and Gastrodon for super effective damage but Memento is almost always better. (and jumpluff is super weak)

Set Details

Maximum Speed investment with a Jolly nature allows Jumpluff to outspeed the majority of the tier and Speed tie with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Archeops and Alolan Raichu. The remaining EVs are placed into Attack to give Jumpluff somewhat of an offensive presence. No item is used to double Acrobatics's power, and Infiltrator allows Jumpluff to hit Pokemon that have access to Substitute such as Oricorio-G. (good)

Usage Tips

Jumpluff will generally come onto the field a few times and Sleep Powder or pivot around the opposing team before it uses Memento. That said, Jumpluff should use Sleep Powder to incapacitate slower foes like Mesprit or pivot out on its checks like Ferroseed, with U-turn, before using Momento (memento). Be wary of using Sleep Powder if the opponent has Pokemon such as Magmortar as it will ruin your momentum (actually this is super similar to the whole jynx being checked by mag. it takes 47% minimum from an acrobatics so i'd mention something else instead). Try switching Jumpluff in on resisted attacks from Pokemon such as Gurdurr since you can beat it with Arcobatics, and shut it down with Sleep Powder (well, you actually have to use sleep powder against it because a +1 gurdurr would beat you 1v1 otherwise) (i'd also maybe phrase this differently because switching in on resisted physical attackers still does a lot because of the average physical defence and hp stat). If the opponent has a Grass-type or you predict an obvious switch into one of Jumpluff's checks, use U-turn to keep up momentum (hm? give an example or a situation). Once Jumpluff is low and has supported the team you can sacrifice it by going for Momento to give free setup to a teammate like Zangoose or Carracosta.

Jumpluff will likely be doing a good bit of pivoting in and out throughout the match with U-turn, so entry hazard removal is beneficial to ensure it doesn't get worn down. Assault Vest Hitmonchan, in particular, is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can check Fire-, Ice-, and Steel-types such as Pyroar, Abomasnow, and Aggron for Jumpluff (whut. I mean it offensively checks aggron so maybe mention that but you are not switching into a head smash or heavy slam) (maybe also specify scarf pyroar because you beat specs with sleep powder + acrobatics pretty convincingly ). Setup sweepers such as Liligant and Carracosta (you mention these two so much throughout, so you could easily mix it up. I also don't like lilligant + jumpluff. turtonator comes to mind or really any setup sweeper would do here, as long as they have synergy. something like jynx would be good) are also good teammates because they appreciate the Memento support that Jumpluff provides since setting up becomes easier. Other Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, like Eelektross and Mesprit, provide good VoltTurn cores with Jumpluff (eel soft checks a lot of special attackers and can provide knock off support along with ways to deal with things like lanturn, regirock, etc. mesprit gives sr and a way to check physical attackers. both provide, specifically, slow momentum, which allows jumpluff to get in without taking a hit most of the time). Lastly, Jumpluff struggles immensely with Ice-type Pokemon, so teammates that can handle Abomosnow such as Pyroar is appreciated.

Other Options
=============

A set of Substitute, Strength Sap, and Leech Seed sounds appealing because it annoys common switch-ins like Aggron and grants unique set up opportunities, but its super passive and isn't worth using (doesn't aggron still win?). A Swords Dance set can boost Jumpluff's Attack by two stages but finding setup opportunities are hard and Jumpluff is still pretty weak at +2. Encore would allow Jumpluff to lock the foe into a non-damaging move and force a switch but fitting it into Jumpluff's moves is hard since its limited.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf users such as Pyroar, and Jynx can revenge kill Jumpluff due to its mediocre bulk, with Pyroar easily OHKOing it with Flamethrower, and Jynx grabbing an easy OHKO with Ice Beam. Pokemon such as Floatzel and Lycanroc which naturally outspeed Jumpluff, can also score easy KOs (with ice beam and stone edge).

**Sleep immune Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Magmortar (remove magmortar just because it's a really bad check. I'd rather you mention something like sap sipper miltank)) and Drampa can switch into Jumpluff easily on a Sleep Powder because their abillites grant them immunity to sleep-inducing moves. However, the former have to be at a high amount of HP to threaten Jumpluff, as Acrobatics does a good chunk, especially to Magmortar after Stealth Rocks.

Ferroseed is immune to Sleep Powder and can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. While these Pokemon check Jumpluff, it is important to note that Jumpluff can pivot out with U-turn or use Memento and setup with a teammate on the former (U-turn can be used to pivot out on the latter too lol).

**Ice-type Pokemon**: STAB Ice-type moves coming from Rotom-Frost and Choice Scarf Jynx are efficient ways to deal with Jumpluff. Ice Shard from Pokemon like Abomasnow can also be threatening (more than threatening). Pokemon with Ice-type coverage such as Zebstrika and Manetric can deal with Jumpluff too (no. they don't use hp ice, ever.).

**Stealth Rocks**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn.

[OVERVIEW]

Jumpluff is a niche Pokemon in the PU tier due to its ability to act as provide utility support for its teammates. Jumpluff has Access to a nice Speed tier and great utility moves, making makes it an excellent supporter and pivot, with moves such as Sleep Powder, Memento, and U-turn which grant granting more opportunities for teammates to sweep, (AC) and separates Jumpluff it from other Grass-types in the tier. Jumpluff also sports a decent typing, which that gives it an immunity to Toxic Spikes (RC) and Spikes (RC) and resistances to Water-, Fighting-, and Grass-, though a weakness to Stealth Rocks Rock can hamper Jumpluff's longevity. However, despite these attributes, Jumpluff's typing also gives it quite a few weaknesses, including a nasty 4x weakness to Ice (RC) and a 2x weaknesses to Fire (RC) and Flying. On top of this, Jumpluff is quite frail and it cant can't do much outside of its support role. Jumpluff also cant afford to hold an item such as Leftovers, (AC) because it needs a boosted Arcobatics, which even then is still very weak without an item due to its abysmal Attack stat. Lastly, despite Jumpluff's good Speed tier stat (repetition), its it's in a crowded Speed tier and contends with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu, Alolan Dugtrio, and Archeops.

Moves
========

U-turn lets Jumpluff pivot out into other team members after it uses Sleep Powder and punish switches from the opponent. Acrobatics is Jumpluff's strongest STAB attack, (AC) hitting Fighting- (RC) and Grass-type Pokemon such as Passimian, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant quite hard. Sleep Powder eases setup for Jumpluff's teammates and shuts down slower foes such as Qwilfish. Memento is preferred over Seed Bomb because it cripples the foe and provides a teammate such as Carracosta or Zangoose with a setup opportunity. Seed Bomb can be used over Memento to hit bulky Water,- and Ground-types such as Lanturn, Carracosta, Golem, and Gastrodon for super effective damage, (AC) but Memento is almost always better because Jumpluff is very weak.

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Jumpluff will generally come onto the field a few times and use Sleep Powder or pivot around the opposing team before it uses Memento. That said, Jumpluff should use Sleep Powder to incapacitate slower foes like Mesprit or pivot out on its checks like Ferroseed, with U-turn (RC) before using Memento. Be wary of using Sleep Powder if the opponent has Pokemon such as Ferroseed, (AC) as it will ruin your momentum. Try switching Jumpluff in on resisted attacks from passive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Gastrodon, (AC) since you can shut them down with Sleep Powder. If the opponent has a Grass-type or you predict an obvious switch into to one of Jumpluff's checks like Aggron, use U-turn to keep up momentum. Once Jumpluff is low on health and has supported the team, (AC) you can sacrifice it by going for Momento to give free setup to a teammate like Zangoose or Carracosta.

Team Options
========

Jumpluff will likely be doing a good bit of pivoting in and out throughout the match with U-turn, so entry hazard removal is beneficial to ensure it doesn't get worn down. Assault Vest Hitmonchan, in particular, is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can offensivly offensively check Fire-, Ice-, and Steel-, and Fire-types such as Choice Scarf Pyroar, Abomasnow, and Aggron, and Choice Scarf Pyroar for Jumpluff. Setup sweepers such as Jynx and Carracosta are also good teammates because they appreciate the Memento support that Jumpluff provides since setting up becomes easier. Other Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, pair well with Jumpluff; the likes of Eelektross and Mesprit (RC) provide complete good VoltTurn cores with Jumpluff. Eelektross soft checks a lot of special attackers and provides Knock Off support along with ways to deal with Pokemon such as Lanturn and Regirock. Mesprit on the other hand offers Stealth Rock support and a way to check physical attackers. Lastly, Jumpluff struggles immensely with Ice-type Pokemon, so a teammates that can handle Abomosnow Abomasnow such as Pyroar is appreciated.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A set of Substitute, Strength Sap, and Leech Seed sounds appealing because it annoys common switch-ins like Aggron and grants unique set up setup opportunities, but its it's super passive and isn't worth using. A Swords Dance set can boost Jumpluff's Attack by two stages, (AC) but finding setup opportunities are hard to find and Jumpluff is still pretty weak at +2. Encore would allow Jumpluff to lock the foe into a non-damaging move and force a switch, (AC) but fitting it into Jumpluff's moves is hard, (AC) since its it's limited. (what does this last part mean?)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf users such as Pyroar (RC) and Jynx can revenge kill Jumpluff due to its mediocre bulk, with Pyroar easily OHKOing it with Flamethrower (RC) and Jynx grabbing an easy OHKO with Ice Beam. Pokemon such as Floatzel and Lycanroc, (AC) which naturally outspeed Jumpluff, can also score easy KOs with Ice Beam and Stone Edge.

**Sleep-immune (AH) Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Ferroseed and Drampa can easily switch into Jumpluff easily on a Sleep Powder because their abillites typing or abilities grant them an immunity to sleep-inducing moves. However, the former have has to be at a high amount of HP to threaten Jumpluff, as Acrobatics does a good chunk, especially to Magmortar after Stealth Rocks Rock. (ok I'm guessing there used to be more Magmortar mentions in this paragraph, fix properly please)

**Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-types check Jumpluff with ease, granting them resistances to both of Jumpluff's STAB moves in Acrobatics and Seed Bomb. Aggron can take any attack from Jumpluff, set up Stealth Rock, (AC) or force it out with Head Smash. Ferroseed is immune to Sleep Powder and can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. While these Pokemon check Jumpluff, it is important to note that Jumpluff can pivot out with U-turn or use Memento and setup with a teammate on the latter..

**Ice-type Pokemon**: STAB Ice-type moves coming from Rotom-Frost and Choice Scarf Jynx are efficient ways to deal with Jumpluff. Ice Shard from Pokemon like Abomasnow can also be very dangerous.

**Stealth Rocks**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn.
