Kartana is the classic zero-to-hero story in Pokemon. Initially dismissed as a mediocre Pokemon with subpar coverage and abysmal bulk, Kartana was rarely used at the beginning of Generation 7, unable to keep up with titans like Pheromosa and Mega Metagross. However, over the last year Kartana has blossomed into a metagame defining threat, cementing itself as one of the top Pokemon in USUM OU.
