Not many votes this week, but im staying true to my schedule
That means Taskr won with 2 votes for his Swords Dance Stomping Tantrum Kingler!

Week 10
Damn double digits

Swanna @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Scald
- Defog
- Roost

The PU metagame has a very large emphasis on hazard control, with the tier reliable rockers in the likes of Regirock and Mesprit and the strong spike setter Qwilfish. Because of this Swanna is able to shine as an offensive defoggers with defensive utility against fighting types such as Gurdurr. Since Swanna is usually the dedicated hazard removal for a team, luring Swanna helps you maintain your hazards without the need to play offensive to maintain pressure.

The deadline is Friday 8th December (oops)
Happy Luring!

Gurdurr @ Eviolite
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Atk / 64 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Knock Off

Basically, you trade off Bulk Up for a way to hit Flying and Bug types.

192+ Atk Gurdurr Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Swanna: 286-338 (98.2 - 116.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

Leavanny @ Focus Sash
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Leaf Blade
- X-Scissor
- Sticky Web
- Electroweb

Electroweb allows Leavanny to beat Swanna 1v1 by reducing its speed and 2HKO'ing it on the switch. It can also prevent Swanna from Defogging away Sticky Web.

4 SpA Leavanny Electroweb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Swanna: 176-208 (60.4 - 71.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Floatzel @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Best move standard Floatzel has for Swanna is Ice Beam which doesn't even 2HKO all of the time and Swanna can OHKO even with a regular Hurricane, let alone SSSS. However, HP Electric is always an OHKO.

252 SpA Life Orb Floatzel Hidden Power Electric vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Swanna: 374-442 (128.5 - 151.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

I stg if ya'll don't count this, HP Elec is so far from standard

I give up on schedules.
Happy Thursday everybody!
Congratulations to PTF for winning the week at 3 votes for their Thunderbolt Weezing, with PursuitOfHappiny coming second with their Assault Vest Thunder Punch Hitmonchan!

Week 11

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Roost

Archeops has solidified itself as an S rank pokemon in the tier due to it's sheer offensive power making it difficult to prep for in teambuilding. It's ridiculously high attack stat combined with access to STAB Acrobatics makes it a great wallbreaker, especially when combined with a good speed stat of base 110 which lets it also function as a late-game cleaner. As mentioned before, Archeops can be hard to prep for defensively due to it's ability to beat it's common checks with minimal support. Because of this, a lure is greatly appreciated to help prevent the potential end-game clean.
Happy Luring!

Altaria @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Roost

With the recent hype of Defog Altaria, who would expect the rare offensive variant? Due to high natural bulk and access to Earthquake to handle the weaknesses of its typing it's a passable DD user imo. (There aren't really any good ones in PU to begin with)

252+ Atk Altaria Outrage vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archeops: 204-241 (70.1 - 82.8%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

+1 252+ Atk Altaria Outrage vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archeops: 306-360 (105.1 - 123.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Altaria Devastating Drake (190 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archeops: 322-379 (110.6 - 130.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Poliwrath @ Coba Berry
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Vacuum Wave
- Focus Blast
- HP Electric

Avoid the ohko from an Archeops looking to revenge you via Coba Berry and ko back with Scald. HP Electric is chosen to also lure and kill Swanna. Ice Beam can be used to hit Oricorio-Sensu harder, but it doesn't have a great chance to ohko after Stealth Rock while +1 Z-Hurricane will ohko through Coba Berry (Poliwrath will always survive +0 Z-Hurricane and 2hko with Scald if it uses CM). The loss of leftovers is unfortunate, but it's not too bad given resistance to Stealth Rock and opportunities to heal with its ability. 160 Spe outspeeds neutral 60s.

252 Atk Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 96 HP / 0 Def Coba Berry Poliwrath: 198-234 (57.3 - 67.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Poliwrath Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 272-324 (93.4 - 111.3%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Knock Off
- Counter

Usually Archeops is able to come in pretty freely against Clefairy as it isnt crippled by Knock Off and can Roost off the Seismic Toss damage. Archeops also usually wins 1v1 since Acrobatics does more than half but with Counter Clefairy can do double the damage back and KO Archeops.

252 Atk Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Clefairy: 225-265 (65.4 - 77%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Lilligant (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Healing Wish
- Hidden Power [Rock]

Scarf Lilligant can come in on archeops and ohko it with leaf storm 56% of the time.
252 SpA Lilligant Leaf Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 268-316 (92 - 108.5%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO

Swanna @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Brave Bird
- Hurricane
- Surf
- Tailwind/Defog

Scarf Swanna can easily revenge Archeops because the most common set is still the Z set with Defog and therefore you can lure it in. It also hits a good speed tier to outspeed the likes of scarfed Primeape, Jynx and even Togedemaru.
252 SpA Swanna Surf vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 320-378 (109.9 - 129.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Scarf Swanna has been recognized as a real set, meaning that it should be scouted for and is therefore not a lure set since Surf and Brave Bird reveal the set.

I'm gonna be leaving submissions open for a bit longer just because it is such a hard week to post for.
Good luck nerds!
