Monotype Mamoswine (Ice)

[OVERVIEW]

Ice
========

Mamoswine is a staple pick for Ice teams due to its ability to effectively fill multiple roles, including a Stealth Rock user, Choice Scarf revenge killer, and wallbreaker. Its high Attack stat and Ground typing allow it to check many Fire- and Steel-type threats such as Torkoal, Heatran, and Magnezone. Its Ground typing also grants it a neutrality to Stealth Rock, which can allow it to switch in more often. Its solid offensive presence makes it one of the best Stealth Rock users for Ice teams. With the ability Thick Fat, Mamoswine can offer a Fire neutrality for Ice teams, and with Oblivious, suicide lead sets can negate Taunt users to freely set up Stealth Rock. Access to priority in Ice Shard allows it to pick off weakened threats. Mamoswine has a wide range of coverage attacks, including Stone Edge, Superpower, and Knock Off, which allow it hit Flying-, Normal-, and Psychic-types such as Mantine, Chansey, and Slowbro, respectively. With Endeavor and Ice Shard along with a Focus Sash, Mamoswine is capable of blanket checking important threats such as Mega Scizor, Choice-locked Keldeo, and Volcarona. With a Choice Scarf, Mamoswine can operate as an effective revenge killer capable of checking threats such as Mega Charizard Y, Tapu Koko, and Nihilego. Unfortunately, Mamoswine is susceptible to being walled by Pokemon such as Skarmory and Mega Slowbro. Its mediocre Speed stat makes it incredibly easy to revenge kill. Its Ice / Ground typing leaves it weak to common priority moves such as Aqua Jet, Mach Punch, and Bullet Punch. Even with a Choice Scarf, Mamoswine finds itself outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Victini, Terrakion, and Heracross.

Moves
========

Stealth Rock is used to make foes take Rock-type damage whenever they switch in, which is especially helpful against Fire- and Bug-types. Earthquake is used to hit Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Torkoal, Magnezone, and Nihilego. Endeavor is used to bring foes down to 1 HP when Mamoswine's Focus Sash is activated. Ice Shard is used for revenge killing Pokemon after Mamoswine has weakened them with Endeavor.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed is used to make Mamoswine as fast and powerful as possible. A Jolly nature allows Mamoswine to outspeed Jolly Breloom and Bisharp. A Focus Sash is used to guarantee that Mamoswine survives any hit and can safely put up Stealth Rock, as well as reducing the opposing Pokemon's HP to 1 with Endeavor. 0 IVs in HP are used in order to have as few HP as possible, allowing Mamoswine to use Endeavor more effectively even when it hasn't been attacked. The ability Oblivious is used to get past Taunt users that prevent Mamoswine from getting up Stealth Rock like Deoxys-S.

Usage Tips
========

Mamoswine should be led with most of the time in order to get up Stealth Rock as quickly as possible. However, you do have to be careful when leading against entry hazard removers like Torkoal and Armaldo. If there's a threat that Mamoswine needs its Focus Sash to handle, make sure to preserve it by switching it out. Keep hazards off the field as much as possible, since they can break Mamoswine's Focus Sash. If hazards can't be prevented, try switching Mamoswine in as the opponent goes for Stealth Rock in order to keep Mamoswine's Focus Sash intact. It's a good idea to bring in a weakened Mamoswine against a slower threat such as Celesteela in order to chip away at it with Endeavor. Avoid burns and poison as much as possible, since both break Mamoswine's Focus Sash and burns also cripple it by halving its Attack. After getting up Stealth Rock, it's a good idea to preserve Mamoswine, since it'll still be able to check Pokemon such as Heatran and Magnezone.

Team Options
========

Everything on Ice appreciates Mamoswine's Stealth Rock and ability to blanket check various threats, including Volcarona and Mega Scizor, with Endeavor and Ice Shard. Kyurem-B can break through walls such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Mega Venusaur, which Mamoswine can't do good damage against. Kyurem-B also offers helpful Grass and Water resistances, which Mamoswine greatly appreciates. Alolan Ninetales can check Water- and Fighting-types that give Mamoswine trouble like Swampert, Keldeo, and Terrakion. In return, Mamoswine checks Fire-types like Alolan Marowak and Heatran as well as Steel-types like Magnezone and Bisharp. Cloyster is a powerful setup sweeper that appreciates Mamoswine's Stealth Rock enabling it to break through Sturdy Pokemon like Skarmory and Forretress. Lapras offers a helpful Water immunity with Water Absorb as well as a Steel neutrality for Mamoswine. It also serves as a helpful check to Mega Scizor and Azumarill with Hidden Power Fire and Freeze-Dry, respectively, and it can use Mamoswine's Stealth Rock to guarantee an OHKO on Rotom-W with Choice Specs Freeze-Dry. Avalugg can remove hazards with Rapid Spin to preserve Mamoswine's Focus Sash and switch into threats like Jirachi, Heracross, and Terrakion. In return, Mamoswine complements Avalugg's phazing with Stealth Rock. Alolan Sandslash is an effective cleaner that can remove hazards with Rapid Spin to preserve Mamoswine's Focus Sash. It's also capable of checking threats such as non-Choice Scarf Terrakion and Hasty Victini after Stealth Rock damage. Weavile can Pursuit trap Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini, Jirachi, and Gengar while also removing items with Knock Off and using Mamoswine's Stealth Rock to guarantee KOs against Mega Charizard Y and Heatran.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf (Ice)
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Icicle Crash
move 3: Stone Edge
move 4: Superpower / Knock Off
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Thick Fat
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Earthquake is a basic Ground-type STAB move used to hit Fire-, Steel-, Poison-, and Rock-types such as Torkoal, Magnezone, Nihilego, and Mega Diancie. Icicle Crash is an Ice-type STAB attack used to hit Ground-types like Landorus and Garchomp. Stone Edge is important for hitting Fire- and Flying-types like Volcarona, Mega Charizard Y, and Mantine. Superpower lets Mamoswine hit Steel-types that aren't threatened by Earthquake, such as Ferrothorn and Air Balloon Heatran, as well as Normal-types like Chansey and Porygon2. Knock Off can be used to remove items, specifically Chansey's and Porygon2's Eviolites.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed is used to make Mamoswine as fast and strong as possible. A Jolly nature is important for outspeeding Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko as well as Speed tying with Choice Scarf Togekiss. A Choice Scarf is used to allow Mamoswine to outspeed numerous threats such as Volcarona, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Pinsir. Thick Fat is the preferred ability to take neutral damage from Fire-type attacks.

Usage Tips
========

While the set is most effective late-game when its checks and counters have been removed, Mamoswine can still be brought in early-game on a resisted hit in order to potentially revenge kill something like Mega Charizard Y. Be careful about what move Mamoswine locks itself into, or it'll risk becoming setup bait. If Superpower is being used, make sure to switch out immediately after using it, as Mamoswine is incredibly susceptible to being revenged killed afterward. Avoid burns as much as possible, since they will wear Mamoswine down while also halving its Attack stat.

Team Options
========

Mamoswine filling a Choice Scarf role allows Kyurem-B to freely run a wallbreaking set, allowing it to break past some of Mamoswine's defensive checks such as Skarmory, Mega Venusaur, and Celesteela. Alolan Ninetales is capable of checking bulky Pokemon such as Mega Sableye, Mega Slowbro, and Swampert for Mamoswine as well as setting up Aurora Veil to give Mamoswine some extra bulk. In return, Mamoswine can check Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y . Avalugg can switch into Choice Scarf Pokemon that threaten to KO Mamoswine such as Jirachi, Heracross, and Infernape. Avalugg can also remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin to make sure Mamoswine stays healthy. Cloyster is a powerful setup sweeper that appreciates Mamoswine's Knock Off softening Chansey and Porygon2. Lapras offers a helpful Water immunity with Water Absorb as well as a Steel neutrality while also checking priority users like Mega Scizor and Azumarill with Hidden Power Fire and Freeze-Dry. In return, Mamoswine can switch into Electric-type attacks and check Electric-types like Tapu Koko and Magnezone. Weavile can Pursuit trap Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini, Jirachi, and Gengar while also checking priority users like Breloom. In return, Mamoswine can check Toxapex and Torkoal, both of which wall Weavile. Piloswine can set up Stealth Rock for Mamoswine, allowing it to sweep teams more effectively. It also is capable of phazing out setup sweepers with Roar and can switch into faster Choice Scarf Pokemon like Hydreigon and Nihilego.

[SET]
name: Wallbreaker (Ice)
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Icicle Crash
move 3: Ice Shard
move 4: Knock Off / Superpower
item: Life Orb / Choice Band
ability: Thick Fat
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Earthquake is Mamoswine's best Ground-type STAB move and used to hit Fire-, Poison-, Steel-, and Rock-types like Torkoal, Toxapex, Heatran, and Nihilego. Icicle Crash is its strongest Ice-type STAB move and used to hit Flying- and Ground-types like Zapdos and Hippowdon. Ice Shard is a STAB priority move used to revenge kill faster threats like Latios, Salamence, and Landorus. Knock Off allows Mamoswine to hit Water-types like Slowbro and Jellicent as well as remove Chansey's and Porygon2's Eviolites. Superpower can be used to hit Normal-types like Chansey and Porygon2 as well as Air Balloon Heatran.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed is used to make Mamoswine as fast and strong as possible. An Adamant nature can be used to further increase its wallbreaking potential. A Jolly nature can be used in order to outspeed Heatran as well as Jolly Breloom and Bisharp. Life Orb can be used to further increase Mamoswine's power while giving it the freedom to switch moves. Choice Band is another option to give Mamoswine an even larger power increase at the cost of being locked into a single move. Thick Fat is the ability used to take neutral damage from Fire-type attacks.

Usage Tips
========

Try sending out Mamoswine early-game to break through bulky Pokemon like Toxapex and Chansey in order to make it easier for sweepers like Kyurem-B and Cloyster to win late-game. It's also a good idea to send it in against weakened threats to revenge kill them with Ice Shard. If an Adamant nature is used, it's helpful to try to bluff a Jolly nature in order to force out Pokemon like Heatran and Tapu Bulu. If Choice Band is being used, be careful about what move you lock Mamoswine into, or it risks becoming setup bait. If Life Orb is being used, make sure to keep entry hazards off the field, since they'll be quickly wearing Mamoswine down alongside the Life Orb recoil. Avoid burns as much as possible, since they will hinder Mamoswine's wallbreaking potential.

Team Options
========

Choice Scarf Kyurem-B appreciates Mamoswine's wallbreaking giving it the chance to sweep late-game. It also checks fast threats like Mega Alakazam, Mega Charizard Y, and Keldeo. Alolan Ninetales can allow Mamoswine to switch into attacks more easily thanks to Aurora Veil while also checking Fighting-types like Keldeo and Terrakion. In return, Mamoswine can beat Steel-types like Heatran and Magnezone. Avalugg can remove entry hazards for Mamoswine with Rapid Spin while also switching into threatening physical attackers like Excadrill and Heracross. In return, Mamoswine can beat Fire-types like Torkoal, Volcanion, and Alolan Marowak. Piloswine can set up Stealth Rock, allowing Mamoswine to wallbreak more effectively, while also switching into Nihilego and Heatran and checking Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona. Cloyster is a powerful sweeper that appreciates Mamoswine softening Chansey and Porygon2 with Knock Off. Mamoswine also removes some of Cloyster's counters like Toxapex and Empoleon. Lapras can switch into and beat Water-types like Slowbro and Pelipper for Mamoswine while also checking Mega Scizor with Hidden Power Fire. In return, Mamoswine switches into Electric-type attacks and can check Magnezone and Zapdos. Alolan Sandslash appreciates Mamoswine's wallbreaking allowing it to sweep late-game and can remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin. Weavile can Pursuit trap Psychic- and Ghost-types that threaten to KO Mamoswine like Victini and Gengar. In return, Mamoswine can break past some of Weavile's checks such as Toxapex and Torkoal.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Ice
--------

Ice Shard can be used on Choice Scarf sets as a means of revenge killing priority users like Breloom as well as faster Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Hydreigon, and Landorus-T. However, the coverage offered by Superpower and Knock Off is much more valuable. Rock Slide can be run over Stone Edge on Choice Scarf sets for more consistency, but it can't always 2HKO Mantine and Armaldo. Stone Edge can be run on wallbreaking sets as a means of hitting Water-types like Pelipper and Araquanid. However, Knock Off and Superpower are generally better coverage options. Stealth Rock can be used on the wallbreaking set to take advantage of how Mamoswine can force switches. However, without Superpower, Mamoswine won't be able to threaten Air Balloon Heatran.

Checks and Counters
===================

Ice
--------

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Terrakion, Heracross, and Keldeo outspeed Mamoswine and threaten to KO it with their Fighting-type STAB moves.

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Greninja, Mega Sharpedo, and Manaphy outspeed Mamoswine and threaten it with their Water-type STAB moves.

**Fast Steel-types**: Choice Scarf Steel-types like Excadrill and Jirachi are capable of outspeeding and KOing Mamoswine. However, neither of them can take an Earthquake.

**Priority**: Priority users such as Mega Scizor and Azumarill can KO Mamoswine with their STAB priority attacks after setting up. Mega Scizor can even sustain itself with Roost, allowing it to set up with even more ease.

**Physically Defensive Walls**: Physically defensive walls like Skarmory, Mega Venusaur, and Mega Slowbro all easily survive any of Mamoswine's attacks, can restore the damage taken, and slowly wear it down.

**Revenge Killers**: Mega Alakazam, Choice Scarf Meloetta, and Choice Scarf Gengar are all capable of outspeeding and KOing Mamoswine with Focus Blast.

**Multi-hit Moves**: Multi-hit moves from Breloom and Mega Heracross are capable of breaking past Mamoswine's Focus Sash and KOing it. However, if Breloom is weakened enough, it will be KOed by Ice Shard.

Is Choice Scarf Mamoswine really worth a set? I would personally never use it. Seeing as it's meant to be a revenge killer, it should be able to beat threats to Ice. However, it can't beat Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y. I don't think it should be here. Especially since Ice has gotten an alternative form of speed control in Alolan Sandslash, Choice Scarf Mamoswine just doesn't seem that good anymore compared to last generation (in which it was already pretty bad).

I'd say Choice Scarf Mamoswine is worth a set. Regarding Mega Charizard Y, Choice Scarf Mamoswine is still capable of beating it with Stone Edge. Not to mention the many things on Ice that can't check Mega Charizard Y very consistently. Alolan Sandslash's hail will be removed the moment it comes in, and if you can somehow get the hail up against it, the only way it's OHKOing is with Rock Slide, which it already has difficulty fitting into its moveset. There's Choice Scarf Kyurem-Black, but that's a rather inferior set compared to its Life Orb wallbreaking set. Ice will already have 3 teamslots set in stone, and if Mamoswine isn't the Stealth Rocker, that automatically places Piloswine in there. Ice builds that utilize Piloswine can't really fit Alolan Sandslash in very easily, and are usually left with the speed control choice of Scarf Mamoswine or Scarf Kyurem-Black, and considering how Kyurem-Black is one of the most powerful wallbreakers in the metagame, it isn't always worth it.

However, these are simply my experiences, and if you think it shouldn't have its own set, then I'll remove it.

Suicide Lead:
Thick Fat is actually awful. Don't talk about it.
Talk about being careful of spinners when leading vs fire and bug in usage tips
How does Alolan Sandslash stop Terrakion when it's outsped? Also, Victini isn't even guaranteed to be OHKOed by even Choice Band's Earthquake.
Make your Team Options more concise and specific to this set.

Choice Scarf:
Knock Off is going to do a clean 0 Slowbro. It's for removing items more than anything else.
Don't copy paste things in Team Options... Talk about how this set allows non-Choice Scarf Kyurem-B. That's the most important thing about using this set for Team Options.

Choice Band:
Your Usage Tips look so similar. You can't be using Mamoswine the same way... Same with Team Options.

Checks and Counters:
Those Grass-types are all walls. Put walls first and remove Grass-types by putting them in as examples.

The content is there but the way you present it could use some work. Don't copy paste, patch up what you say in Usage Tips and Team Options, and it's fine. QC 1/3

Implemented the check and tried to differentiate the Team Options and Usage Tips, if there are still problems let me know, otherwise ready for second check.

Maybe add in multi-hit moves from Breloom or Mega Heracross, as they break the sash set, or maybe that can be added into the first set's section
AM Check, doesn't count as official unless gets stamped. Only implemented if you agree with my changes. Mostly just changed some awkward wording, or asked for clarifying on points.

Implemented all but the last part, since Mega Heracross doesn't really run Bullet Seed in the current metagame, and Breloom is revenge killed by Ice Shard after prior chip damage. Currently writing it

[OVERVIEW]

Ice
========

Mamoswine is a staple pick for Ice teams due to being able to effectively fill multiple roles, ranging from a Stealth Rocker, Choice Scarf cleaner, and wallbreaker. Its high Attack stat and part Ground-typing allow it to check many Fire- and Steel-type threats such as Torkoal, Heatran, and Magnezone. Its part Ground-typing also grants it a neutrality to Stealth Rock, which can allow it to switch in more often. Its solid offensive presence makes it one of the best Stealth Rockers for Ice teams. With the ability Thick Fat, Mamoswine can offer a Fire neutrality for Ice teams, and with Oblivious, Mamoswine can negate Taunt users and freely set up Stealth Rock. Access to priority in Ice Shard makes it an effective revenge killer. Mamoswine has a wide range of coverage varying from Stone Edge, Superpower, and Knock Off, which allow it hit Flying-, Normal-, and Psychic-types such as Mantine, Chansey, and Slowbro respectively. With Endeavor and Ice Shard along with a Focus Sash, Mamoswine is capable of blanket checking important threats such as Mega Scizor, Keldeo, and Volcarona. Clarify Choiced Keldeo, since SubCM is not checked by Endeavor. With a Choice Scarf, Mamoswine can operate as an effective revenge killer capable of checking threats such as Mega Charizard Y, Tapu Koko, and Nihilego. Unfortunately, Mamoswine is still susceptible to being walled by Pokemon such as Skarmory and Mega Slowbro. Its lackluster Speed stat makes it incredibly easy to revenge kill. Its Ground / Ice-typing leaves it vulnerable to common priority moves such as Aqua Jet, Mach Punch, and Bullet Punch. Even with a Choice Scarf, Mamoswine often finds itself outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Victini, Terrakion, and Heracross.

Stealth Rock is used to make the opposing team take damage whenever they switch in, which is especially important in difficult matchups like Fire and Bug. Earthquake is the basic Ground STAB used to hit Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Torkoal, Magnezone, and Nihilego. Endeavor is used to bring opponents down to 1% health when Mamoswine’s Focus Sash is activated. Ice Shard is used for revenge killing Pokemon after Mamoswine has brought them down to 1% health with Endeavor.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed are used to make Mamoswine as fast and powerful as possible. A Jolly nature allows Mamoswine to outspeed positive-natured Breloom and Bisharp. A Focus Sash is used to guarantee that Mamoswine survives any hit and can safely put up Stealth Rock, as well as reduce the opposing Pokemon's HP to 1 with Endeavor. 0 IVs in HP are used in order to have as low health as possible, allowing Mamoswine to use Endeavor more effectively even when it hasn’t been attacked. The ability Oblivious is used to get past Taunt users like Deoxys-Speed that prevent Mamoswine from getting up Stealth Rock.

Usage Tips
========

In matchups such as Fire and Bug, Mamoswine should be the lead Pokemon in order to get up Stealth Rock as quickly as possible. However, you do have to be careful leading against hazard removers like Torkoal and Armaldo. If there's a threat that Mamoswine needs its Focus Sash to handle, make sure to preserve it by switching it out. Keep hazards off the field as much as you can, since they can break Mamoswine's Focus Sash. If you can’t prevent hazards, try switching Mamoswine in as the opponent goes for Stealth Rock in order to keep your Focus Sash intact. It’s a good idea to bring in a weakened Mamoswine against a slower threat such as Porygon2 in order to chip away at it with Endeavor. Since Endeavor has only 8 PP and Recover has 16, this isn't the best example. The best it can do is force the opponent into recovering off the damage so you can technically get some sort of switch advantage out of it. Avoid status such as burns or poison as much as possible, since they can not only break Mamoswine’s Focus Sash, but burn also cripples it by halving its Attack. After getting up Stealth Rock, it's a good idea to keep Mamoswine alive, since it'll still be able to check Pokemon such as Heatran and Magnezone.

Everything on Ice appreciates Mamoswine’s Stealth Rock and its ability to blanket check various threats with Endeavor and Ice Shard, such as Volcarona and Mega Scizor. Kyurem-Black can break through walls such as Skarmory, Celesteela, and Mega Venusaur that Mamoswine can’t do good damage against. Kyurem-Black also offers helpful Grass and Water resistances, which Mamoswine greatly appreciates. Alolan Ninetales can check Water- and Fighting-types like Swampert, Keldeo, and Terrakion that give Mamoswine trouble. In return, Mamoswine checks Fire-types like Alolan Marowak and Heatran, as well as Steel-types like Magnezone and Bisharp. Cloyster is a powerful setup sweeper that appreciates Mamoswine’s Stealth Rock in order to break through Sturdy Pokemon like Skarmory and Forretress. Lapras offers a helpful Water immunity with Water Absorb, as well as a Steel neutrality for Mamoswine. It also serves as a helpful check to Mega Scizor and Azumarill, and can use Mamoswine’s Stealth Rock to guarantee a OHKO against Rotom-Wash with Choice Specs Freeze-Dry. Avalugg can remove hazards with Rapid Spin to preserve Mamoswine’s Focus Sash, as well as switch into threats like Jirachi, Heracross, and Terrakion. In return, Mamoswine compliments Avalugg's phasing with Stealth Rock. Alolan Sandslash is an effective cleaner that can remove hazards with Rapid Spin to preserve Mamoswine’s Focus Sash. It’s also capable of checking threats such as non-Choice Scarf Terrakion and Hasty Victini after Stealth Rock. Weavile can Pursuit trap Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini, Jirachi, and Gengar, while also removing items with Knock Off and using Mamoswine’s Stealth Rock to guarantee KOs against Mega Charizard Y and Heatran.

Earthquake is the basic Ground STAB used to hit Fire-, Steel-, and Poison-types such as Torkoal, Magnezone, and Nihilego. Rock-types as well, such as Mega Diancie. Icicle Crash is the Ice STAB used to hit Ground-types like Landorus and Garchomp. Stone Edge is important for hitting Fire- and Flying-types like Volcarona, Mega Charizard Y, and Mantine. Superpower lets Mamoswine hit Steel-types that aren’t threatened by Earthquake such as Air Balloon Heatran and Ferrothorn, as well as Normal-types like Chansey and Porygon2. Knock Off can be used to remove items, specifically Chansey and Porygon2’s Eviolites.

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed is used to make Mamoswine as fast and strong as possible. A Jolly nature is important for outspeeding Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu and Tapu Koko, as well as Speed tying with Choice Scarf Togekiss. A Choice Scarf is used for Mamoswine to outspeed numerous threats such as Volcarona, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Pinsir. Thick Fat is the preferred ability used to take neutral damage from Fire-type attacks.

Usage Tips
========

While the set is most effective late-game when its checks and counters have been removed, Mamoswine can still be brought in early-game on a resisted hit in order to potentially revenge kill something. Keep hazards off the field as much as possible in order to prevent Mamoswine from being worn down. Be careful about what move Mamoswine locks itself into, or it'll risk becoming setup bait. If Knock Off is being used, after removing an item from a Pokemon like Chansey or Porygon2, it's best to immediately switch out afterwards, since Knock Off's power is rather mediocre after an item has been removed. If Superpower is being used, make sure to switch out immediately after using it, as Mamoswine is incredibly susceptible to being revenged killed afterward. Avoid burns as much as possible, since they will wear Mamoswine down while also halving its Attack stat.

Mamoswine filling a Choice Scarf role allows Kyurem-Black to freely run a wallbreaking set, allowing it to break past some of Mamoswine's defensive checks such as Skarmory, Mega Venusaur, and Celesteela. Alolan Ninetales is capable of checking bulky Pokemon such as Mega Sableye, Mega Slowbro, and Swampert for Mamoswine. In return, Mamoswine can check Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y for Alolan Ninetales. Avalugg can switch into Choice Scarf Pokemon that threaten to KO Mamoswine, such as Jirachi, Heracross, and Infernape. Earthquake is Mamoswine's best Ground STAB move used to hit Fire- and Poison-types like Torkoal and Toxapex. Steel- and Rock-types as well. Just because you have mentioned them before doesn't mean you leave them out, still say what it's used for with new important examples. Icicle Crash is its strongest Ice STAB move used to hit Flying- and Ground-types like Zapdos and Hippowdon. Ice Shard is the STAB priority move used to revenge kill faster threats like Latios, Salamence, and Landorus. Knock Off allows Mamoswine to hit Water-types like Slowbro and Jellicent, as well as remove Chansey and Porygon2's Eviolites. Maximum investment in Attack and Speed are used to make Mamoswine as fast and strong as possible. An Adamant nature can be used to further increase its wallbreaking potential. A Jolly nature can also be used in order to outspeed Heatran, as well as Jolly Breloom and Bisharp. Life Orb can be used to further increase Mamoswine's power while giving it the freedom to switch up between moves. Choice Band is another option to give Mamoswine an even larger power increase, but at the cost of being locked into a single move.

Usage Tips
========

Try sending out Mamoswine early-game to wallbreak in order to make it easier for sweepers like Kyurem-Black and Cloyster to win late-game. It's also a good idea to send it in against weakened threats to revenge kill them with Ice Shard. If the Adamant nature is used, it's a good idea to try to bluff a Jolly nature in order to force out Pokemon like Heatran and Tapu Bulu. If Choice Band is being used, be careful about what move you lock yourself into, or you may risk becoming setup bait. If Life Orb is being used, make sure to keep hazards off the field, since they'll quickly be wearing Mamoswine down alongside the Life Orb recoil. Avoid burns as much as possible, since they will halve Mamoswine's Attack and hinder its wallbreaking potential.

Add in the Multi-hitting moves section suggested by torkool. Breloom needs at least 39.5% prior damage for Ice Shard to be a guaranteed KO so it's not just a little prior chip. Whether you want to consider Mega Heracross or not is up to you since it's not a significant threat, but both Pin Missile and Bullet Seed OHKO on Adamant so there's that.

Choice Band is another option to give Mamoswine an even larger power increase, but at the cost of being locked into a single move. Thick Fat?

Usage Tips
========

Try sending out Mamoswine early-game to wallbreak in order to make it easier for sweepers like Kyurem-Black and Cloyster to win late-game what threats does it break exactly.

Avalugg can remove entry hazards for Mamoswine with Rapid Spin, while also switching into threatening physical attackers like Excadrill and Heracross. Ice Shard can be used on Choice Scarf sets as a means of revenge killing priority users like Breloom, as well as faster Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Hydreigon, and Landorus-Therian. However, the coverage offered by Superpower and Knock Off is much more valuable. Rock Slide can be ran over Stone Edge on Choice Scarf sets for more consistency. But without Stone Edge, you won't be guaranteeing 2HKOes against Mantine and Armaldo. Stone Edge can be ran on wallbreaking sets as a means of hitting Water-types like Pelipper and Araquanid on what set please specify. However, Knock Off and Superpower are generally better coverage options. Stealth Rock can be used on the wallbreaking set to take advantage of how Mamoswine can force switches. However, this would come at the cost of important coverage just say what Mamoswine can't hit without the coverage so you aren't repeating the above sequence and have the right amount of detail.

Its mediocre Speed stat makes it incredibly easy to revenge kill. Even with a Choice Scarf, Mamoswine often finds itself outsped by common Choice Scarf Pokemon like Victini, Terrakion, and Heracross.

GP 1/2. the writing here is alright and the grammar is pretty well done, but the biggest problem i had with this analysis is how disconnected the sentences feel and the repetition of the prose. the biggest offenders of course are the first three tags of c&c, which are all 99% the same. also, the sections in your sets all sound very similar, even using the same examples and sentences.

tl;dr your grammar was good but i cant really get on with this analysis considering the repetitiveness of the writing and disconnection of the sentences, which sound like there isn't much of a transition between them and are more like bullet points than actual paragraphs.

Moves
========

Ice Shard is the a STAB priority move used to revenge kill faster threats like Latios, Salamence, and Landorus. Knock Off allows Mamoswine to hit Water-types like Slowbro and Jellicent, (comma) as well as remove Chansey's and Porygon2's Eviolites. Superpower can be used to hit Normal-types like Chansey and Porygon2, (comma) as well as Air Balloon Heatran.

Set Details
========

Maximum investment in Attack and Speed is used to make Mamoswine as fast and strong as possible. An Adamant nature can be used to further increase its wallbreaking potential. A Jolly nature can also be used in order to outspeed Heatran as well as Jolly Breloom and Bisharp. Life Orb can be used to further increase Mamoswine's power while giving it the freedom to switch up between moves. Choice Band is another option to give Mamoswine an even larger power increase but at the cost of being locked into a single move. Thick Fat is the ability used to take neutral damage from Fire-type attacks.

Usage Tips
========

If an Adamant nature is used, it's a good idea helpful to try to bluff a Jolly nature in order to force out Pokemon like Heatran and Tapu Bulu. If Choice Band is being used, be careful about what move you lock Mamoswine into, or it may risks becoming setup bait. If Life Orb is being used, make sure to keep entry hazards off the field, since they'll be quickly be wearing Mamoswine down alongside the Life Orb recoil. Avoid burns as much as possible, since they will halve Mamoswine's Attack and hinder its Mamoswine's wallbreaking potential.

Team Options
========

Choice Scarf Kyurem-B appreciates Mamoswine's wallbreaking in order giving it the chance to sweep late-game. It also checks fast threats like Mega Alakazam, Mega Charizard Y, and Keldeo. Alolan Ninetales can allow Mamoswine to switch into attacks better more easily thanks to Aurora Veil while also checking Fighting-types like Keldeo and Terrakion. In return, Mamoswine switches into Electric-type attacks for Lapras and can check Magnezone and Zapdos. Alolan Sandslash appreciates Mamoswine's wallbreaking in order for allowing it to sweep late-game and can also remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin. Weavile can Pursuit trap Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini and Gengar that threaten to KO Mamoswine like Victini and Gengar. In return, Mamoswine can break past some of Weavile's checks such as Toxapex and Torkoal.

Other Options
=============

Ice
--------

Ice Shard can be used on Choice Scarf sets as a means of revenge killing priority users like Breloom, (comma) as well as faster Choice Scarf Pokemon like Latios, Hydreigon, and Landorus-T. However, the coverage offered by Superpower and Knock Off is much more valuable. Rock Slide can be ran run over Stone Edge on Choice Scarf sets for more consistency, but without Stone Edge, you won't be guaranteeing 2HKOs against it can't always 2HKO Mantine and Armaldo. Stone Edge can be ran run on wallbreaking sets as a means of hitting Water-types like Pelipper and Araquanid. However, Knock Off and Superpower are generally better coverage options. Stealth Rock can be used on the wallbreaking set to take advantage of how Mamoswine can force switches. However, without Superpower, Mamoswine won't be able to hit threaten Air Balloon Heatran.
