Aegislash @ Iron Ball
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- King's Shield
- Toxic
- Gyro Ball
- Shadow Ball

  • King's Shield is necessary on Aegislash, allowing it to go back into Shield forme, regain its defensive stats, gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery, and scout for moves.
  • Toxic punishes Aegislash's switch-ins like Primal Groudon, Yveltal, and Ho-Oh as well as support Arceus formes like Arceus-Water and Arceus-Fairy.
  • Gyro Ball allows Aegislash to threaten Xerneas, dealing decent damage to it and other offensive Pokemon.
  • Shadow Ball is used to effectively check Mega Lucario, 2HKOing it. It also chips at Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM, hits other Psychic-types for decent damage, OHKOes Lunala without Shadow Shield, and OHKOes Marshadow after Stealth Rock damage.
Deoxys-Attack @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Rash Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Superpower
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse

  • Psycho Boost is a powerful STAB move, enabling Deoxys-A to have very few switch-ins, with the only ones being Dark-types and bulky Psychic- and Steel-types. Paired with Tapu Lele's Psychic Terrain, Psycho Boost becomes a nuke, dealing massive damage to Pokemon that do not resist it.
  • Ice Beam enables Deoxys to OHKO Yveltal and Zygarde-C from full HP and helps Deoxys-A deal with other Dragon-, Flying-, and Ground-types such as Mega Salamence, Giratina-O, Ultra Necrozma, Lugia, and Arceus-Ground.
  • Superpower allows Deoxys-A to hit Dark- and Steel-types such as Arceus-Dark and Ferrothorn as well as Chansey and Blissey with the help of previous Stealth Rock damage.
  • Dark Pulse can hit opposing Psychic-types such as the Necrozma formes and Lugia; it also hits Ghost-types such as Mega Gengar.
Groudon @ Red Orb
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 144 HP / 156 Atk / 56 SpD / 152 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance
- Precipice Blades
- Rock Tomb

  • Stealth Rock is a valuable entry hazard for spreading damage across the enemy team and limiting the effectiveness of Flying-types such as Ho-Oh, Yveltal, and Rayquaza.
  • Swords Dance, when combined with Stealth Rock, allows this Primal Groudon variant to be both a utility entry hazard setter and a wallbreaker at the same time against Defog users such as support Arceus formes, Giratina, and Ho-Oh that would try to remove Stealth Rock.
  • Precipice Blades is capable of 2HKOing typical support Arceus formes such as Arceus-Water, OHKOing them at +2.
  • Rock Tomb targets switch-ins like Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Mega Salamence, while also slowing all Arceus formes down to the point where Primal Groudon can strike them first. This, along with the threat of a boosted Precipice Blades, heavily limits their ability to use Defog on Primal Groudon.
Kangaskhan @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 108 HP / 148 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Seismic Toss
- Crunch
- Body Slam

  • Fake Out gives Mega Kangaskhan free chip damage the first turn it switches in and possibly stalls a turn of residual damage.
  • Seismic Toss is Kangaskhan's main damage source. As its damage output isn't reliant on Mega Kangaskhan's Attack stat, it allows Mega Kangaskhan to freely invest in other stats. It also bypasses the Defense stat to take advantage of bulky foes with low HP such as Toxapex and Shuckle, though this also leaves its damage output lacking against targets with high HP stats.
  • Crunch gives Mega Kangaskhan super effective coverage against most Ghost-types, which are immune to Kangaskhan's STAB attacks and Seismic Toss after it Mega Evolves.
  • Body Slam is a decently powerful STAB option with a high chance of paralysis thanks to Parental Bond. This grants Kangaskhan a lasting, though unreliable, method of crippling many threats. The possibility of the foe being paralyzed before it can move can also let Mega Kangaskhan break through walls that would otherwise stall it out with Recover, such as support Arceus formes.
Marshadow @ Marshadium Z
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Spectral Thief
- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak

  • Bulk Up provides the extra damage Marshadow needs to break through Pokemon that would normally check it.
  • Close Combat and Spectral Thief are Marshadow's preferred STAB attacks.
  • Spectral Thief also goes through Substitute, allowing Marshadow to steal stats from Pokemon that try to set up behind a Substitute.
  • Spectral Thief also lets Marshadow use the Z-Move Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike, which further boosts its wallbreaking capabilities, especially in combination with a Bulk Up boost. After a single Bulk Up, Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike can OHKO many of Marshadow's checks, such as support Arceus formes that don't resist it like as Arceus-Fairy, -Ground, and -Water after Stealth Rock, Toxapex after Stealth Rock damage, offensive or weakened defensive Ho-Oh, and more.
  • Shadow Sneak can revenge kill or finish off severely weakened threats.
Necrozma-Dawn-Wings @ Ultranecrozium Z
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 224 Atk / 32 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Photon Geyser
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

  • Swords Dance boosts Ultra Necrozma's damage output to the point where it can easily KO offensive foes and pressure defensive foes.
  • STAB Photon Geyser has high damage output, and it becomes Light That Burns the Sky with Ultranecrozium Z.
  • Earthquake provides Ultra Necrozma with a valuable coverage move to hit Steel-types and common threats like Primal Groudon.
  • Stone Edge rounds out Ultra Necrozma's coverage by hitting certain Flying-types like Yveltal and Lugia, which would prove to be serious problems to this set. Necrozma-DW's tendency to draw in Yveltal prior to Ultra Bursting makes Stone Edge an effective way to punish it.
