So if you've been on firebot or in the few private PS! chans i've been in the past few days, I've probably spammed a link to skribbl! It's online pictionary that you can play with friends!

You'll need something that has mouselike capabilities and a keyboard. Tablets work, I've heard of people struggling with mobile, laptops with touchpad are doable, though the best success comes with any computer with a keyboard and a separate mouse.

How to play:
  1. Before the drawer draws anything, look just above the drawing canvas space. You should see a bunch of underlines and a timer on the top-left. The timer marks how long everyone has left to guess. The underlines tell you how many letters are in the word to guess. When the timer hits 30 seconds, one of the letters will be revealed and when the timer hits 10 seconds, a second letter will be revealed. The drawer will not know which letters have been randomly revealed.
  2. You have unlimited tries to guess.
  3. Once the word is correctly guessed by anyone, if the timer is above 30 seconds, the timer will immediately shift to 30 seconds left and the first random letter will be revealed.
  4. When it's your turn to draw, the game will give you a short amount of time to click on a word to draw. This becomes the chosen word. If you've ever used MS paints, your options to draw should be intuitive to figure out. You will see three areas below the canvas. The left is just the color palette you have available, the middle switches between drawing, erasing, and fill, and the right chooses the thickness of the brush / eraser.
  5. Notes on fill: You'll notice that with your brush / eraser thickness, it changes the radius around your mouse and treats the entire line as a continuous area. If the continuous area touches any other continuous area that shares the same colors, the two areas will merge. If a continuous area is closed off by another continuous area of a different color and there is a surrounding continuous area of the same color as the inner-most continuous area, you have 3 separate continuous areas, the inner-most of color A, the middle of color B, and the outer-most of color A. Look for the cross when you use fill as that is the point that fill takes to be a continuous area. Fill will change the entire continuous area's color to be the active color of your palette scheme.
  6. If you intend on using fill, make sure that you've actually completed your shape that you intend on filling else you might just accidentally fill the whole space.
  7. If someone happens to be AFK for a round or is drawing some things you would rather not see, you have the option to thumbs-down them. If a drawer receives enough thumbs-downs from everyone else (scales with game size), the round ends and everyone gets 0 points for the round. Scores prior to the round are not affected.
  8. Another option you have is to vote-kick someone. I haven't tested to see if a vote-kicked user can still rejoin the same room, but this kicks them out of the game.
  9. If a player leaves the game and rejoins for any reason, including disconnections, their points when they rejoin are set to 0.

How to Make a Room:

  1. Hop onto skribbl.io. Below the "Play!" button, there is a "Create Room" button. Be mindful of the name in the name field though. That will be your name and you cannot change that unless someone else is in the room, you leave and click on the URL that leads to your room and select the name you'd like to play under.
  2. Room ownership will transfer to that player and the only way that room ownership does not stay with the current room owner is if they leave. You can tell who the room owner is by seeing who has the crown on their head.
  3. Room owners can choose the # of rounds, the language, and when to immediately start the game. If you want someone to join your game, you must give them the exact URL you see in "Invite your friends!" Otherwise, if a URL does not resolve to a currently-active game room, they will be in a random room.
  4. The game has activity checks for each player if the game has not started so be sure to check up on the tab and click 'yes' to indicate you're still there if the 'are you still there?' window pops up.
  5. No registration is required to create a room.

is another version of online pictionary with two key differences. The site is brazilian and therefore in Portuguese, but it also comes with a Pokemon dataset. isketch is also a similar program and is in English but requires Flash. I haven't made a gartic room before, but if he wants to GatoDelFuego can certainly write up some instructions.

Anyway, I made this thread so that anyone interested can click: "Watch this thread" and if anyone makes a room and wants to get some people, you are welcome to post a link to your room down below. Be sure to edit your post when your link is no longer active!
