Counters: Gastrodon, Bulky Altaria-Mega
Calcs:
4 SpA Tapu Koko Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 92 SpD Altaria-Mega: 74-88 (20.9 - 24.8%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
252 Atk Tapu Koko Gigavolt Havoc (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 136+ Def Altaria-Mega in Electric Terrain: 145-171 (40.9 - 48.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

I swear when I have free time, I will count the votes and update the OP.
Checks: Ferrothorn (quziel ) / Lightning Rod Alolan Marowak (Steel With It )
Counters: Mega Camerupt(TURBODERP ) / Mega Swampert (InvisibleWater )

The victim this week is Mega Camerupt.

Camerupt @ Cameruptite
Ability: Magma Armor
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SpA / 128 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Rock Slide
- Substitute / Hidden Power Ice / Nature Power / Yawn

Mega Camerupt boasts a niche as one of the best balance and BO breakers in OU thanks to its typing which allows it to check Magearna and Tapu Koko. It is also able to tear down the Toxapex + Celesteela + Tangrowth core which forms the backbone of many bulkier teams. Rock Slide allows Mega Camerupt to target Mega Charizard-Y, Volcarona and Mantine. Substitute gives Camerupt protection from status, Hidden Power Ice rips apart Zygarde and Garchomp. Terrain support also allows Mega Camerupt to have Nature Power change to Thunderbolt / Energy Ball which further reduces its switch-ins.

Note:
I picked Alolan Wak as the check to Koko because it does its jobs more consistently than the other checks.

Rotom-Wash as a check

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Rotom's type combination and Levitate ability makes it immune to Earth Power and resistant to Fire Blast. Fire Blast still does a big chunk to it despite being resisted, but Rotom can usually scare Camerupt out with Hydro Pump and get some health back from a switchin with Pain Split

Celesteela is Life

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled

Chansey is a Counter to Mega Camerupt, taking pitiful damage from all of its moves with Chansey's stupid-high bulk. Chansey can set up Rocks, cripple Mega Camerupt with Toxic, and chip it down with Seismic Toss, while also having Soft-Boiled to heal up and consistently switch into the camel.

252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 177-208 (25.1 - 29.5%) -- 0.5% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 177-208 (25.1 - 29.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and 3 layers of Spikes

Chansey Seismic Toss vs. 128 HP Camerupt-Mega: 100-100 (31.9 - 31.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Gastrodon as a counter

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Toxic
- Earth Power

252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 186-220 (43.6 - 51.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Even with Rocks on the field, Gastrodon survives 90% of the time, and can outspeed and Recover up (or do over 91% minimum with a single Scald).

252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Gastrodon: 186-220 (43.6 - 51.6%) -- 10.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

The only thing Gastrodon needs to worry about is a Nature Power Energy Ball (which OHKOs), but since you outspeed and do over 90% minimum to Mega Camerupt with Scald, you're still a solid switch unless they hit you with NP on the switch.

Reserving Ash-Greninja as a check.

Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- Spikes / Ice Beam
- Water Shuriken

While it can't switch into any of Mega Camerupt at all, Ash Greninja can easily OHKO it with Hydro Pump, even before transformation, and Water Shuriken, which could be useful in case Camerupt would be on a Trick Room team.

Before transformation:

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 880-1036 (281.1 - 330.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Water Shuriken (15 BP) (2 hits) vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 248-296 (79.2 - 94.5%) -- approx. 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Water Shuriken (15 BP) (3 hits) vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 372-444 (118.8 - 141.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

After transformation:

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Hydro Pump vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 1164-1372 (371.8 - 438.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja-Ash Water Shuriken (20 BP) (3 hits) vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 648-768 (207 - 245.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Check: Azumarill

Azumarill @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Knock Off

252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 274-324 (75.2 - 89%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 128 HP / 0 Def Camerupt-Mega: 480-568 (153.3 - 181.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 128 HP / 0 Def Camerupt-Mega: 952-1128 (304.1 - 360.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Azumarill takes a ton from a STAB + Sheer Force Earth Power, but it can OHKO before eating damage from the slow Mega Camerupt.
Simple, but effective.

Check: Tank Araquanid.

Araquanid @ Waterium Z
Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Liquidation
- Scald
- Leech Life
- Toxic / Power Split

My favourite Fire blanket is back for another round of destruction - he resists Mega Camerupt's STABs and HP Ice, he isn't 2HKO'd by Rock Slide without Stealth Rock and severe hax (needing damage rolls, Speed ties and flinches to all go in Megarupt's favour), and he only has to fart in Megarupt's general direction to destroy it. Just watch out for Electric Terrain Nature Power variants, as it OHKOs, should Megarupt predict the switch or win the Speed tie.

0- Atk Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Rock Slide vs. 248 HP / 232+ Def Araquanid: 114-136 (33.6 - 40.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (28.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock)
0 Atk Water Bubble Araquanid Liquidation vs. 128 HP / 0 Def Camerupt-Mega: 552-656 (176.3 - 209.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Water Bubble Araquanid Scald vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 392-464 (125.2 - 148.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Needless to say, he has an even easier time against slower spreads, since there's no Speed tie and thus no risk of flinches.

Nitpick, but it can't flinch with Sheer Force.

Latios as a check

Latios @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire] / Surf
- Trick

Latios is able to switch into any of Mega Camerupts moves at least once, being resistant or immune to everything bar HP Ice. With Choice Specs, Latios is able to KO Camperupt from full with Draco Meteor 81% of the time, or KO it regardless of anything if Surf is chosen as coverage. Surf is also useful to break a sub and hit again at full power.
->

252+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Latios: 128-151 (42.5 - 50.1%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO

Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. Levitate Latios: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- aim for the horn next time
252+ SpA

Camerupt-Mega Hidden Power Ice vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Latios: 146-172 (48.5 - 57.1%) -- 89.8% chance to 2HKO

->

252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Draco Meteor vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 306-360 (97.7 - 115%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Psychic vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 211-250 (67.4 - 79.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Surf vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 564-668 (180.1 - 213.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Latios Surf vs. 128 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 380-448 (121.4 - 143.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Groundium Z Dugtrio as a Check

Dugtrio @ Groundium Z
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Screech
- Substitute
- Toxic

If brought in safely, dugtrio can simply trap and remove Mega Camerupt with Groundium Z.

252 Atk Dugtrio Tectonic Rage (180 BP) vs. 128 HP / 4 Def Camerupt-Mega: 488-576 (155.9 - 184%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow
- Ice Beam / Psychic / Energy Ball
- Surf
- Rain Dance / Psychic / Hidden Power Fire / Shadow Ball

Manaphy is a nice check of Mega Camerupt, which has seen some usage nowadays especially on ladder. It isn't a counter of course, since it can't switch into Camerupt's moves safely but it can OHKO the camel with Surf. EV spread can go bulkier, depends on the team where it's used and stuff. Mana could also go 3 attacks.

252 SpA Manaphy Surf vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Camerupt-Mega: 472-556 (137.6 - 162%) -- guaranteed OHKO
