Moves
========
Foremost, Stealth Rock is a threatening entry hazard that pressures the opposing team and punishes excessive switching. Earthquake is a powerful STAB attack that can consistently do damage to a variety of targets. Explosion is a powerful one-time attack that can be used to block Defog or eliminate a significant offensive threat early-game and is especially useful on this set for maintaining momentum. Swords Dance can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure bulkier Pokemon such as Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor while allowing it to set up Stealth Rock versus Mega Sableye teams. Alternatively, Hidden Power Ice can be used to allow Landorus-T to pressure opposing Landorus-T and Defog Gliscor in order to gain the hazard advantage without having to use Explosion.
Set Details
========
252 Attack and Speed EVs with a Jolly nature maximize Landorus-T's Speed, allowing it to set up Stealth Rock before many foes can move and also ensuring that Explosion deals as much damage as possible. Alternatively, a Naive nature can be used to increase the damage output from Hidden Power Ice so that Defog Gliscor can't stall Landorus-T out. This set elects to run a Focus Sash in order to guarantee that Landorus-T can survive any attack and set up Stealth Rock in matchups versus offensive Pokemon. However, a Normal Gem can be used instead if this set isn't used as a dedicated lead for a significantly stronger Explosion, being able to OHKO Gliscor and defensive Rotom-W among other targets that don't normally get OHKOed by Explosion.
Usage Tips
========
This set is fairly straightforward to use, as it's a suicide lead. Landorus-T will almost always be used as a lead unless there's a Mega Sableye on the opposing team or a Pokemon that otherwise prevents Landorus-T from setting up Stealth Rock at the start of the match. After being sent out, Landorus-T should set up Stealth Rock immediately unless there's a significant threat that can be eliminated instead. Swords Dance should be used when facing bulkier Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Clefable in order to pressure them and wallbreak for teammates. This is especially useful versus Mega Scizor because it assists you in keeping Stealth Rock up. After setting up Stealth Rock, click Explosion if you are facing a slower hazard remover that you cannot otherwise KO, letting you keep your Stealth Rock up and get significant damage off. However, it should be noted that you should not use Explosion recklessly otherwise, as Landorus-T can only use it once, and using it in conjunction with Swords Dance can be an effective way to entirely eliminate even bulkier Pokemon.
Team Options
========
Suicide lead Landorus-T fits onto hyper offensive teams due to the momentum and pressure on Defoggers that it provides. Sticky Web offense with Araquanid and Aurora Veil teams appreciate the entry hazard support that Landorus-T can provide due to it complementing the late-game sweepers that those teams usually possess. Late-game cleaners such as Dragon Dance Zygarde, Blacephalon, and Kartana appreciate Landorus-T's ability to weaken bulkier Pokemon early-game. Additionally, offensive Pokemon that appreciate Landorus-T's ability to lure Tapu Bulu such as Tapu Koko and Zygarde make excellent teammates.
