SD Baxcalibur is a powerful wallbreaker and sweeper, able to cleanly 2HKO almost every non-Unaware UUbers rank pokemon (except for bulky Zamazenta-Crowned and Ninetails-Alola), and outspeed everything without a scarf besides Deoxys-Speed after a single Swords Dance and Scale Shot. These two moves, allow it to boost up, with the later alongside Icicle Spear giving it high power Stabs able to bypass Focus Sashes and Substitutes, Earthquake rounds out the coverage against otherwise tricky grounded Steel-Types such as Magearna and Solgaleo.
Jolly nature allows Baxcalibur to outspeed Zacian and Deoxys-Normal at +1, and speed tie max speed Great Tusk. Given it´s already great power, the tera type is usually best spent in allowing it to set up safely, Ground-Type prevents Thunder Wave paralysis while boosting its Earthquake further, whereas Fairy-Type is all round great defensively, and prevents Dragon Tail phasing. Thermal Exchange is mainly useful for avoiding burns while setting up. Alolan-Ninetails is by far its best teammate, with the Snow Defense boost and Aurora Veil greatly facilitating it´s setup opportunities, and making revenge killing tougher, it can also heal Baxcalibur if Ice Body is the ability of choice. It also enjoys teammates which can have switch moves and/or can remove/prevent hazards so it can start in pristine condition.
Checks and counters:
Out of all UUbers pokemon, only Dondozo can safely wall it after a Swords Dance, however, it´s vulnerable to disruption during setup, fairy types, whether natural or tera, will prevent it from boosting it´s speed, and can revenge kill, or cripple it with status (if not immune), and especially after snow, Aurora Veil have run out, and Scale Shot Defense drops have been accumulated, it becomes vulnerable to fast Scarfers and priority such as Arceus´ E-Speed.
