Terapagos takes the Monotype metagame by storm with its Choice Specs set! Boasting great stats, a wide variety of coverage options, and an incredible ability in Tera Shell,
(filler, can shorten to comply with word count) Terapagos greatly aids Normal teams in the Steel, Flying, and Water
(it messes up slower types like Poison or Sandless Ground more than Steel though) matchups. Tera Starstorm offers an impeccable base power, allowing Terapagos to break through walls like Swampert, Toxapex, and Galarian Slowking if Earth Power is not opted for
(this feels like it could be more extreme, as Swampert isnt really quite a wall. Its so much of a nuke that even the bulkiest walls like Alomuk, anything that isnt a resist just get nuked [its strong enough that even Physdef corv cannot swap in]) . Ice Beam targets Flying- and Ground-types such as Gliscor,
Clodsire (starstorm still stronger Starstorm is just as strong, and doesnt get the issue of bonking into neutrals), and Dragonite as well as Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragapult
(pult is a cool example not because Dragon, but its someone Dragon without Hisui Goo can feasibly swap into),
Garchomp, and Hydrapple. Thunderbolt targets Water-type Pokemon such as Empoleon,
Basculegion-F, and Azumarill (Bascu isnt common, Starstorm is still stronger vs Azu a better hit in general vs Fairy teams) as well as allows Terapagos to hit every Flying-type super-effectively in combination with Ice Beam
(can cut to save space, realistically spamming starstorm is the play since cant OHKO Corv anyway). Flamethrower threatens Ice- and Steel-types like Articuno
(starstorm is just as strong outdamages, aside from corv these examples are a bit odd. Jirachi, Air Balloon Ghol, are pretty cool examples tho) , Corviknight, and Alolan Sandslash while Earth Power hits Heatran, Hisuian Goodra,
and Alolan Muk (outdamaged by startorm you want to avoid hitting possible immunity swap ins, so starstorming Poison is better). A Timid nature may be used to outpace Gholdengo, Dragonite, and Heatran, however, a Modest nature provides essential damage rolls
(maybe something interesting could be nice here?). Hisuian Zoroark is a great teammate due to its Fighting-type neutrality
(its immune.), combating Sneasler, Great Tusk, and Hisuian Lilligant. Blissey acts as a sponge to special attackers, walling Flutter Mane, Spectrier
(this sentence is bad. You cant do much to Spectriee or FM as Blissey anyway), and Kyurem as well as offer useful utility like Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave.
(ursaluna-BM is a good team mate to break the opposition
Braviary provides defog to keep your shell intact
Indeedee provides a means vs faster meanies, and can H.Wish to let you check another major threat with the shell. Blissey does this too, while slowing down the opposition with twave. Blissey isnt a major team mate, but can be mentioned briefly)
