Welcome to the DPP PU Cup! This tournament is one of three individual tournaments that will be part of the PU Classic. Doing well in this tournament will help towards your potential spot in the PU Classic playoffs.

Tournament rules:

• Standard DPP PU | Information about DPP PU can be found here!
• Single elimination
• Best of three matches
• REPLAYS ARE REQUIRED
• No replays = no points
• Partial replays will not count; all replays must be posted
• Matches are to be played on PS unless both players agree otherwise
• It is recommended to play on smogtours so one doesn't "forget" to save replays
• Timeouts will equal a loss unless both players agree to replay

There is no set deadline for this, as it is a RR finals. However, I do ask that you finish at the first opportunity in order for the playoffs to begin.

Won game 1 due to dc but I was mislead by into thinking that I should redo.

I then won again despite some bad luck on my part, and he proceeded to do this in the next two games

So yea, I asked him to redo the last game because of the undeniably ridiculous luck but he said no which I think is a pretty classless scenario after he got a redo.

So I wish to ask that the DC is counted and the latter two games are irrelevant Akir.

Disconnections and Timer Clause: In live tournaments with short time constraints such as the Smogon Tour, if a player disconnects or times out, the opponent may take the win. In other tournaments, if a player disconnects and contends that they could still win, the optimal solution is to recreate the exact situation the disconnection occurred at during the battle. If this is not feasible due to unreasonable battle length, highly improbable circumstances, or some other reason, the player who did not disconnect may choose to rematch with either the same teams or (the option to use) new teams

edit: yea you quoted me part of that one, but I checked afterwards and I don't think that's accurate I think I just get the win which made that post misleading.

I understand if nothing can be done but this directly impacts who makes the playoffs and I urge someone to think about this.

So yes i have seen this, and i have my own opinion on this, but i am going to get the other TO's opinions on the matter. I will make a follow-up post hopefully soon

After talking it over with the other Classic TO's, we have decided that MiyoKa gets the win. It is unfortunate that something like this happened during the finals, but the redo was agreed upon so it will hold.
