  • Song: Whispered - Kappa
  • Genre: Melodic Death Metal
  • Some very nice Japanese-folk-inspired MeloDeath from Finland. There’s a (kinda creepy) jazzy sax part in the middle.

Song: Cat Empire- Daggers Drawn

Link:

Genre: Ska/Indie Rock (Tho tbh I've never known how to classify this band, especially since they're sound changes basically every album.)

Description: From the Cat Empires new(ish) album, Daggers Drawn is over five minutes of complex and subtle sound, complete with awesome piano/drum solos and a huge chorus. I absolutely adore this whole album (in fact this whole band.)

I particularly like Cerys Matthews’ Sunday morning show, although it is on too early (5am to 8am US east coast time) for me to listen live. The programs are kept online for about a month, so I just listen later.
