SM OU Koko + Kyurem-B Core

Hi all; just as a note, I've been out of the OU game for quite some time and decided to make a quick team for low ladder play. Now I'm looking to optimize it for higher ranking play since I've noticed several shortfalls. So here we go! Tapu Koko @ Shuca Berry Ability: Electric Surge EVs...

    SM OU Sun/Sand Offense: Peaked 1745 (+)

Thanks! I'll definitely try out a couple Lando sets, and I've been considering Bulu as well, just never much liked the AV set. But first time for everything I suppose.

    SM OU Sun/Sand Offense: Peaked 1745 (+)

Thanks for the recs! I'll definitely them out today and edit this post later. Though, I actually started off using Superpower over Fire Punch on TTar and eventually changed to Fire Punch and found it a lot more useful since Chansey doesn't tend to switch into you like bulky steels will...

    SM OU Sun/Sand Offense: Peaked 1745 (+)

I'm a bit out of practice in this current meta, but I'm getting back on my feet while I've got time for it now. This is a team I built with my friend in early 2017, and lately it's still been doing well but there are consistent spots where I fall short. I don't have the proof readily available...

SM OU Newbie Team (trying things out)

Thank you for the recs!! I've been thinking about HP Ice on Lando, so I may try it soon. Little more skeptic of Psychium Z, but I'll give it a look-see

SM OU Newbie Team (trying things out)

to say it lightly, I've been out of the meta quite a bit since gen 7 came out, and naturally a lot of drastic changes are still catching up to me. for the meantime, though, this is a fun team that keeps me entertained in the lower parts of the ladder - although I did peak around 1500 once or...

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sun and Moon In-Game Team Thread

I've unironically been looking for things to round the meme team out, this is actually perfect Little weak to fighting. but perfect

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sun and Moon In-Game Team Thread

First one seems really good in terms of type balance. Golisopod kind of hinders the balance a bit, repeating both of its types and introducing an extra rock weakness. It's also just hard to raise. Personally I'd use a ground type, but that's your choice. Wishi and Decidueye handle rock nicely...

    Alolan Grimer, Muk Discussion

Ah okay, I just figured Bulu or Fini themselves would be tanking the hit, especially since Tapu Bulu straight up does not care about anyone's EQs. Both are good options in general, but I'd probably only pick Bulu for Muk support over Fini because Bulu seems to help everyone out. Not to mention...

All the tapus will take dracos very well. they're all immune to it

    Ash-Greninja Discussion

Yeah! I'm just viewing it from the perspective of someone on showdown. If you pick Greninja, you are inherently not picking Ash-Greninja because standard Greninja has torrent/torrent/protean as its ability set. Ash-Greninja (a separate option) only has battle bond/battle bond/battle bond. So...

    Ash-Greninja Discussion

by coding it's fundamentally a whole nother pokemon, though it retains all the same stats and the name/level-up. I think separate tiering would be appropriate, since Ash-Greninja can only run BB. It would be a separate form just like lando/torn/thund in all essence. it just doesn't look different

    Marshadow Discussion

Dumb question, but do we know how it works against protect? Just cause shadow force exists

    Kartana Discussion

Ah yeah I keep thinking sacred sword is a special attack for some reason

    WishiWashi Discussion

Doesn't matter which applies first, since Schooling has actually been shown to bring the school form back if HP rises above 25% via any kind of healing. Sitrus berry is objectively the ideal item for it

    Kartana Discussion

Probably the hardest, most reliable check to it is standard magnezone. Paper thin defenses give way to HP fire instantly

    Type: Null, Silvally Discussion

not-so-coincidentally, Silvally shares the same BST as the UB's too

    Ash-Greninja Discussion

Does anybody know if it's possible to transfer more than one Ash-Greninja from the demo? (i.e. transferring one to both sun and moon, or getting another by restarting the game)

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sun and Moon In-Game Team Thread

The first four have been set in stone before I even saw the stats, so I'm pretty comfortable with them. Glaring weakness to water isn't great, but I guess it could still be subject to change. tbh I'd kind of appreciate some help with the last two, since they aren't exactly optimal. Decidueye...
