[SET COMMENTS]
Larvitar sets itself apart from Bagon as a Dragon Dance user thanks to its resistance to Normal-type moves. This allows it to set up a Dragon Dance against Aipom that is locked into Double Edge or Delcatty, which can only hope to paralyze Larvitar with Body Slam. After one Dragon Dance, Larvitar is able to outspeed and OHKO most base 85 Speed attackers with either of its STAB moves. Earthquake OHKOes faster attackers such as Staryu, Mankey, and Aipom if Larvitar is holding Soft Sand while threatening Rock- and Electric-types such as Rhyhorn, Chinchou, and Magnemite. Rock Slide provides Larvitar with an option against Flying-types such as Delibird, Pidgeotto, Taillow, and Butterfree while also threatening Dustox. Hidden Power Bug threatens bulky Grass-types such as Bayleef and Exeggcute, which otherwise OHKO Larvitar with their Grass-type STAB moves. Alternatively, Larvitar can use Facade to grant it a more powerful option when inflicted with status due to its ability Guts. Soft Sand allows Larvitar to always OHKO Aipom with Earthquake when at +1 instead of relying on a 93% chance to do so without it. Alternatively, Larvitar can hold a Lum Berry in order to prevent it from being paralyzed by Delcatty when it tries to set up, though this can be counterproductive if Larvitar is using Facade.

Larvitar does its best work on offense teams that rely on special attackers. These teams appreciate Larvitar's usefulness in threatening common special walls like Dustox and Delcatty. Pokemon like Elekid, Chinchou, Staryu, and Croconaw all appreciate Larvitar for these reasons. These special attackers threaten Koffing, which otherwise walls Larvitar and has a chance to OHKO it with Hidden Power Grass. Chinchou is notable as a teammate, as its access to Thunder Wave can create more opportunities for Larvitar to set up or remove threats by remedying its poor Speed. Secondary sweepers that appreciate the removal of special walls and Aipom, such as Growlithe, Masquerain, and Butterfree, pair well with Larvitar. Butterfree's access to Sleep Powder makes it an incredible partner, as it provides Larvitar with more opportunities to set up Dragon Dance. Growlithe is worth noting, as it threatens Grass-types like Bayleef, which allows Larvitar to more safely use Facade over Hidden Power Bug. Larvitar fails to outspeed Elekid, Luvdisc, and Voltorb when at +1, so Pokemon that can check them, such as Castform and Dustox, are appreciated.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

=============
Larvitar can use Substitute alongside a Lum Berry to turn Delcatty into setup fodder, but this means it has to drop Hidden Power Bug or Facade.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Koffing**: Koffing has a 12% chance to OHKO Larvitar with Hidden Power Grass and completely walls it at +1 if Guts is not active. Koffing must be wary of Larvitar if it has been inflicted with status, as Facade can 2HKO Koffing at +1.

**Pokemon with Over Base 85 Speed**: Elekid, Voltorb, and Luvdisc are all able to outspeed and OHKO it even at +1 with Hidden Power Grass or Hydro Pump.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Lileep and Bayleef can counter Larvitar if it lacks Hidden Power Bug and OHKO it with their Grass-type STAB moves. If Larvitar has been inflicted with status, it can 2HKO Bayleef at +1 with Facade and Lileep with Earthquake.

**Faster Attackers**: Pokemon that outspeed Larvitar can prevent it from using Dragon Dance. Water-types such as Chinchou, Seaking, and Croconaw all outspeed and threaten Larvitar with their Water-type STAB moves. Both Butterfree and Masquerain outspeed Larvitar and can OHKO it with their Grass-type coverage.

**Cubone**: Larvitar does outspeed Cubone; however, it only has a 37% to 2HKO Cubone with Earthquake when it's not at +1. This allows Cubone to answer back with an OHKO from Earthquake.

EQ should be listed before Rock Slide, as it's Larvitar's strongest attack against neutral targets.

[SET COMMENTS]
Larvitar sets itself apart from Bagon due to its Normal-type resistance. It's best that you specify its niche as a Dragon Dancer here. Reword/combine the next sentence as needed. This allows it to set up a Dragon Dance against an Aipom that is locked into Double Edge or Delcatty who can only hope to paralyze with Body Slam. After one Dragon Dance Larvitar is able to outspeed and OHKO every base 85 Speed attacker most notably Aipom and Staryu. With what? As stated earlier you should mention EQ before Rock Slide, so you can mention it with this. Rock Slide provides Larvitar with an option against Flying-types such as Delibird, Pidgeotto, and Butterfree while also threatening Dustox. Earthquake OHKOes faster attackers such as Aipom and Staryu while threatening slower foes such as Rhyhorn. Specify that EQ targets Rock- and Electric-types for super effective damage Hidden Power Bug threatens bulky Grass-types such as Bayleef and Lileep which otherwise OHKO Larvitar with their Grass-type STAB. Doesn't EQ do more to Lileep thanks to STAB? Also mention HP Bug obliterating Exeggcute. Alternatively, Larvitar can use Facade to grant it a more powerful option when inflicted with status alongside Guts. Soft Sand often works best alongside Facade as using Lum Berry can be counterproductive. Notably, Soft Sand allows Larvitar to always OHKO Aipom with Earthquake when at +1 instead of relying on a 93% chance to do so without it. Alternatively, Larvitar can hold a Lum Berry in order to prevent it from being paralyzed by Delcatty when it tries to set up.

Larvitar does its best work on offense teams that rely on special attackers. These teams appreciate Larvitar's usefulness in threatening common physical walls like Dustox and Delcatty. Pokemon like Elekid, Chinchou, Staryu, and Croconaw all appreciate Larvitar for these reasons. These special attackers threaten Koffing which threatens Larvitar with Hidden Power Grass. I'd argue Koffing's ability to defensively answer Larvitar is more worth mentioning. Chinchou is notable, as its access to Thunder Wave can create more opportunities for Larvitar to set up or remove threats thanks to remedying its poor Speed. Secondary sweepers that appreciate the removal of special walls and Aipom such as Growlithe, Masquerain, and Butterfree pair well with Larvitar. Butterfree's access to Sleep Powder makes it an incredible partner as it provides Larvitar with more opportunities to set up Dragon Dance. Growlithe is worth noting as it threatens Grass-types like Bayleef, which allows Larvitar to more safely use Facade. Brick Break can be used for slightly more damage against Normal-types like Delcatty and Castform but the difference is barely noticeable when compared to Earthquake. Iirc the damage is the exact same:
252 Atk Larvitar Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Aipom: 168-198 (66.6 - 78.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Larvitar Brick Break vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Aipom: 168-198 (66.6 - 78.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
And less with Soft Sand
252 Atk Soft Sand Larvitar Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Aipom: 184-217 (73 - 86.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
I'd argue its only use is slightly more damage vs Lileep without Soft Sand.

Larvitar can use Substitute alongside a Lum Berry to solidify its matchup against Delcatty. More than solidifies, it turns every Delcatty that doesn't have HP Grass into setup fodder.

Be sure to mention Taunt.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Koffing**: Koffing has a 12% chance to OHKO Larvitar with Hidden Power Grass and completely walls Larvitar at +1 if Guts is not active. Koffing must be weary wary of Larvitar if it has been inflicted with status as Facade can 2HKO Koffing at +1.

**Faster attackers**: Elekid, Voltorb, and Luvdisc are all able to outspeed and OHKO Larvitar even at +1 with Hidden Power Grass or Hydro Pump respectively.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Lileep and Bayleef can counter Larvitar if it lacks Hidden Power Bug and OHKO it with their Grass-type STAB. If Larvitar has been inflicted with status it can 2HKO Bayleef at +1 with Facade and Lileep with Earthquake.

Mention Pokemon that can KO Larvitar before it sets up. This includes most Water-types, Ground-types like offensive Rhyhorn and Cubone, and Pokemon with Grass- and Water-type coverage like Butterfree and Masquerain. You touch on this idea in the "faster attackers" section, but you only mention those 3 that outspeed at +1. Additionally, they should likely be renamed to "Pokemon with over 85 base Speed" or something along those lines, as they deserve a mention beyond general faster attackers.

Alternatively, Larvitar can use Facade to grant it a more powerful option when inflicted with status alongside Guts. Soft Sand often works best alongside Facade as using Lum Berry can be counterproductive. (I think these last 3 sentences can be summed up into 2. 1 can talk about Soft Sand boosting its STAB EQ and the calc on Aipom, while the next can be about lum berry, even though the item is a bit counterpoductive to its ability + running facade) Notably, Soft Sand allows Larvitar to always OHKO Aipom with Earthquake when at +1 instead of relying on a 93% chance to do so without it. Alternatively, Larvitar can hold a Lum Berry in order to prevent it from being paralyzed by Delcatty when it tries to set up.

There is some redudancy here with EQ vs Aipom. You mention it OHKO's base 85 mons w EQ, then mention how Soft Sand makes the 93% chance into a for sure OHKO. maybe change some wordage here like remove "every" base 85 speed attacker and remove Aipom from that listing. Just seems like you counter your own point here. you also mention EQ ohkoing staryu and aipom/faster attackers in back to back sentences. feel like some of this can be cleaned up a bit.

While it cannot outspeed, Cubone can handle all of Larvitar's attacks and OHKO with Earthquake. I would just make a separate part for this or add it to the one above and change the title to bulky foes or something. unless you think its just fine here.

- Some of these senetnces were missing subjects, like 'which can only hope to paralyze with Body Slam' ' it only has a 37% to 2HKO with Earthquake' so make sure the Pokemon's name or 'it' is there somewhere. Something like 'Elekid can outspeed and OHKO Larvitar with Hidden Power Grass' also needs to change to 'Elekid can outspped Larvitar and OHKO it with Hidden Power Grass' so both things have a subject attached.
- This is less relevant for gen 9, but all checks and counters headers need every word capitalised.
- I explained the such as commas on discord too.
