[SET COMMENTS]
With STAB bolt beam coverage, access to one of the strongest moves in the game in bolt beak, and the ability to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after Slush Rush, Arctozolt is a powerful sweeper that can destroy unprepared teams in snow. Unfortunately, Arctozolt does have some major problems that make it difficult to use. It is heavily reliant on snow and is very weak to priority and revenge killers that outspeed it even in the snow. Arctozolt is a necessary member on hard snow teams but these teams have a lot of issues. They require multiple ice types and thus stack common weaknesses to Rock, Fighting, and Fire types. Sand is also very popular so snow sweepers commonly get their snow distributed. Lots of snow abusers are weak to Stealth Rock and susceptible to hazards in general, so hazard control like Rotom Wash, Tapu Fini, or Latias is required. Virtually all Slush Rush Pokemon are vulnerable to priority like Scizor's Bullet Punch and Aegislash's Shadow Sneak, though Dual Screens from Alolan Ninetales can help them take these. All of these are problems that are much less damaging to standard offensive teams. Freeze-Dry further increases the amount of opponents Arctozolt can hit super effectively, like Gastrodon and Rotom-Wash. Blizzard can be used instead for more damage into key targets like Hippowdon and Amoonguss, but is unreliable when snow ends. Low kick is used to deal with Magnezone and other Arctozolts, which are the only relevant Pokémon that resist its STAB combo, and Excadrill. It can also threaten to OHKO Tyranitar, whose Sand Stream removes Arctozolt’s Snow. Substitute is a useful tool that can ease predictions, give protection from status like Will-O-Wisp and Toxic from Pokemon like Rotom-Wash and Toxapex, and let it threaten even after snow is over. Max speed and a Naive nature is necessary to outspeed certain targets like Choice Scarf Tapu Fini and Mega Aerodactyl in snow. Heavy-Duty Boots removes its Stealth Rock weakness and lets it ignore Sticky Webs. Leftovers lessens the toll of using Substitute while also providing general longevity. Life Orb boosts Arctozolt's damage output, letting it OKHO Toxapex and 2HKO Buzzwole, Latios, and Excarill. Arctozolt pairs well with diverse set up sweepers like Excadrill, Galarian Moltres, and Iron Moth that can clean games after Arctozolt has gotten KOs, or can make openings for Arctozolt to clean. They also provide offensive synergy with Arctozolt, threatening the Grass- and Electric-types directed at it. Defensive teammates like Clefable, Toxapex, and Blissey like Arctozolt removing their offensive checks. They can assist Arctozolt by being switch ins after snow is over. Arctozolt needs snow to function so a snow setter like Alolan Ninetales or Slowking is required as a teammate. Alolan Ninetales brings additional Fire- and Rock-Type weaknesses to a team and requires pivoting or sacking to get Arctozolt in safely. That being said, it can set up Aurora Veil for Arctozolt and doesn't lose much by running Icy Rock, increasing the amount of snow turns Arctozolt can utilize. Slowking has defensive synergy with Arctozolt, such as taking Fire- and Fighting-Type moves for it, and can directly pivot Arctozolt into snow thanks to Chilly Reception. Teammates such as Latios, Enamorus, and Slowking are necessary to switch into the moves Arctozolt is weak to. Hippowdown, Assult Vest Tangrowth, and Iron Hands can be challenging for Arctozolt to break, especially if lacking Blizzard. Pokemon that comes in well and can threaten or set up against them, like Galarian Zapdos, Autotomize Celesteela, or Calm Mind Latios, is recommended. Hazards from teammates like Swampert or Ting-Lu can punish repeated switch ins and bring them down to ranges that Arctozolt can KO from. Additionally, Hazards also generally help Arctozolt with breaking. Stealth Rocks bring Buzzwole into 2HKO range while Stealth Rocks plus a layer of Spikes bring Assult Vest Tangrowth into 2HKO range of Blizzard. Even in snow, Arctozolt is still outspeed by a lot of other boosted Pokemon like Choice Scarf Enamorus, Choice Scarf Galarian Zapdos, Booster Energy Iron Moth, and more. Teammates like Amonguss, Aegislash, and Blissey can switch into these threats. Additionally, Amonguss and Aegislash can assist Arctozolt's sweep by using Spore or Toxic on one of its checks and Blissey can bring Arctozolt back in with Teleport.

With stab bolt beam coverage, access to one of the strongest moves in the game in bolt beak, and a way to patch up its horrible speed with Slush Rush, arcotzolt is a powerful sweeper that can destroy unprepared teams in snow. With the speed boost, Bolt Beak kills a lot, such as having a guaranteed 2HKO on physically defensive Slowbro, Toxapex, and Clefable. Given the niche status of Zolt, outljne some of its issues that prevent it from being used more ( specificity, the support hail needs difficulties vs revengers etc) Freeze-Dry is used over Blizzard Just a heads up that I’d probably consider this in some form, gastro is only rlly limited to balance/stalls atm and the stronger hit on things like Hippo and Amoong is cool to even further increase the amount of opponents it can hit super effectively, like Gastrodon and Rotom Wash and additionally can be used freely after snow is gone. Low kick is used to deal with Magnezone and other Arctozolts, which are the only relevant Pokémon that resist bolt beam coverage its STAB combo, and Excadrill. It can also threaten to OHKO Tyranitar, whose Sand Stream removes Arctozolt’s Snow. which likes to switch into it to disturb its snow. Substitute is a useful tool that can ease predictions, give protection from status like Will-O-Wisp and Toxic, from Pokemon such as? and let it threaten even after snow is over. Max speed and a positive speed Naive nature is necessary to outspeed certain target like Choice Scarf Tapu Fini and +1 Excadrill far too uncommon imo Mega Aerodactyl in snow. Heavy-Duty Boots removes its Stealth Rock weakness and lets it ignore Sticky Webs. Leftovers lessons the toll of using Substitute while also providing general longevity livability. Life Orb boosts Arctozolt's damage output, giving Bolt Beak a guaranteed OHKO on physically defensive Toxapex and a good chance to 2HKO Buzzwole, a reliable 2HKO into Latios with Freeze-Dry, and a reliable 2HKO into bulkier Excadrill builds with Low Kick. Pretty fluff to restate the exact moves on targets atp, just condense all examples into the same sentence. Arctozolt pairs well with set up sweepers like Mega Altaria, Thundurus-T, and Cinderace Iron Moth that can clean games after Arctozolt has gotten KOs, or can make openings for Arctozolt to clean. Defensive teammates like Clefable, Toxapex, and Blissey like Arctozolt removing their offensive checks. Arctozolt needs snow to function so a snow setter like Alolan Ninetales or Slowking is required as a teammate. Mega Venusaur and Assult Vest Tangrowth completely wall Arctozolt, Wouldn’t say these are hard sponges per se, MVenu easily gets chipped by limited recovery + hazards and AV Tang isn’t exactly a switch if we consider blizzard, easily taking any of its moves. A Pokemon that comes in well and can threaten or set up against them, like Galarian Zapdos or Autotomize Celesteela specify set, is recommended. Iron Hands can also be hard for it to break. Your own Mega Venusuar or Buzzwole can freely switch into it and Latios can come in on a Swords Dance, a Fighting type move, or an Earthquake and chip force out Iron Hands or set up Calm Minds. Torkoal banned Tyranitar and Hippowdon are weather setters that can turn off Arctozolt's snow and can take Arctozolt's moves fairly well. Just reseting weather is enough in most cases Spikes, Stealth Rocks, and Toxic Spikes, Just entry hazards in general unless there’s one that isn’t beneficial somehow from teammates like, Skarmory, Ting-Lu or Quagsire far too passive imo, can punish repeated switch ins and bring them down to ranges that Arctozolt can KO from. Additionally, Hazards also just generally help Arctozolt with breaking. filler, for the paragraph above I’d also name examples such as Buzzwole that are pushed into ko range by it Even in snow, Arctozolt it is still outspeed by a lot of other boosted pokemon like Choice Scarf Enamorus, Choice Scarf Galarian Zapdos, Booster Energy Iron Moth, and more. Teammates like Mega Venusaur, Aegislash, and Blissey can switch into these threats.

You also need to put a greater emphasis on Arcto’s lack of longevity and defensive utility somewhere, what are some teammates that help get around these?

Implement the above and lmk for a recheck, there’s a lot of info/grammar that needs to be fixed so please go over it carefully.

These mentions aren’t foremost when it comes to prevalence or synergy imo. Much prefer Excadrill/G-Molt on these types of teams (provided you mention defensive synergies given how important that is on Snow teams), or any another wincon that’s more immediately threatening if justifed.

Defensive teammates like Clefable, Toxapex, and Blissey like Arctozolt removing their offensive checks.
How do these Pokemon support Arcto in return?

Arctozolt needs snow to function so a snow setter like Alolan Ninetales or Slowking is required as a teammate.
Distinguish the ways which these two Snow setters support Arcto. Both aren’t usually reauired on the same builds.

Mega Venusuar or Buzzwole can freely switch into it
Again, not a great answer honestly. Given that’s it’s super easy to chip and get limited recovery under weather.

The analysis so far also lacks much in terms of background context in terms of describing the playstyle as a whole. What are some overarching issues related to hail, and what are some role compression options that help mitigate these? How does it struggle when compared to other offensive playstyles?

Is this gonna get rejected? I’m not feeling too confident in it so I’d understand why. I’d drop it but it’s too far developed for me to want to.

With STAB bolt beam coverage, access to one of the strongest moves in the game in bolt beak, and a way to patch up its horrible speed with Slush Rush, Better to say “ability to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after Slush Rush” or some other way to give context Arctozolt is a powerful sweeper that can destroy unprepared teams in snow. Unfortunately, Arctozolt does have some major problems that make it difficult to use. It is near useless outside of snow not really, Arcto can still easily outspeed and force out staples (pex skarm etc) without it, ‘heavily reliant’ or any other synonym would be more fitting. and is very weak to priority and revenge killers that outspeed it even in the snow.
(move metagame info from below comment here) Freeze Dry further increases the amount of opponents Arctozolt can hit super effectively, like Gastrodon and Rotom-Wash. Blizzard can be used instead for more damage into key targets like Hippowdon and Amoonguss, but is unreliable when snow ends. Arctozolt pairs well with diverse set up sweepers like Excadrill, Galarian Moltres, and Iron Moth that can clean games after Arctozolt has gotten KOs, or can make openings for Arctozolt to clean. They also provide defensive ? offensive synergy with Arctozolt, taking threatening the Rock-, Ground-, Fire- and Fighting-type moves directed at it. However, it would rather not run Icy Rock due to it losing Heavy-Duty Boots and thus becoming susceptible to hazards. -Quite optional to the extent where I wouldn’t say it’s specific at all. Arctozolt is a necessary member on hard snow teams but these teams have a lot of issues. They require multiple ice types and thus stack common weaknesses to Rock, Fighting, and Fire types. Sand is also very popular so snow sweepers commonly get their snow distributed. This is general metagame description; we aren’t doing minis, so move this up. Lots of snow abusers are weak to Stealth Rock and susceptible to hazards in general, so hazard control like Rotom wash, Tapu Fini, or Latias is required. Virtually all Slush Rush Pokemon are vulnerable to any form of priority. Relevant examples? just go into which ones if there’s an example teammate that deals with these. All of these are problems that are much less damaging to standard offensive teams. Arctozolt's own bulk is limited and it has common weakness to Fighting, Fire and Ground types. Fluff to restate atp, just go into the examples directly. Teammates such as Latios, Enamorus, and Slowking are necessary to switch into these moves. Mega Venusaur Hippowdon again. and Assult Vest Tangrowth can be challenging for Arctozolt to break, especially if lacking Blizzard. A Pokemon that comes in well and can threaten or set up against them, like Galarian Zapdos or Autotomize Celesteela, is recommended. Iron Hands can also be hard for Arctozolt to break. Buzzwole or Tangrowth can switch into it and Latios can force out Iron Hands or set up Calm Minds. (Merge with above examples for simplicity if it’s important, adjust examples appropriately since it’s not worth its own bit imo.) Tyranitar and Hippowdon are weather setters that can turn off Arctozolt's snow. Given the MU, idt this is worth it’s own bit, especially you’ve talked about Sand stream removing Snow already, and that TTar can be koed easily if it stays in and Hippo has to be wary, if needed, include Hippo as an example that teammates can chip. Hazards from teammates like, Skarmory Swampert or Ting-Lu can punish repeated switch ins and bring them down to ranges that Arctozolt can KO from. Additionally, Hazards also generally help Arctozolt with breaking. Stealth Rocks bring Buzzwole into 2HKO range while Stealth Rocks plus a layer of Spikes bring Tangrowth into 2HKO range of Blizzard. Which case? this also implies pdef Even in snow, Arctozolt is still outspeed by a lot of other boosted pokemon like Choice Scarf Enamorus, Choice Scarf Galarian Zapdos, Booster Energy Iron Moth, and more. Teammates like Amonguss, Aegislash, and Blissey can switch into these threats. Briefly state the ways in which they can help arcto out in return, since turns are limited.

It’s been discussed on cord before, so just watch for the general format in a few instances before passing of to GP. Better stuff, just make sure to read through the info and carefully implement this before I give a pass

Arishem implemented. Thanks

One question tho. I changed the diverse set up sweepers part to threating grass and electric types (since those three do threaten them while none of them really threaten fire or ground types all that much, and cause grass/electrics are zolts main checks) but I feel that this makes it too similar too the "mons that are challenging for Arctozolt to break" part in the second half. Do you think that I should revert or alter this change, or is it okay as is?

After further discussion with the QC team we have decided to reject this analysis. Not only it shows a lack of metagame knowledge (especially when mentioning partners), but even after Arishem's feedback we don't think this is going to reach an acceptable level of quality. You are free to write for us again, but i highly recommend reading the Spelling and Grammar Standards to understand more about C&C before doing so.
