Clefairy @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe

- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind
- Stealth Rock

Clefairy stands out as one of the best Stealth Rock setters in PU thanks to its great defensive typing, coupled with great bulk and Eviolite. Calm Mind + Stealth Rock Clefairy is a set surging in viability, and it is notorious for its ability to blanket check a number of special attackers like Aurorus, Mesprit, and Alolan Exeggutor, and it provides excellent role compression along with breaking bulkier teams. Because Clefairy is versatile and has access to several viable utility moves in Thunder Wave, Encore, Knock Off, Toxic, and Seismic Toss, the opponent will be kept guessing until Calm Mind is revealed, making Clefairy a very unpredictable threat. Furthermore, Clefairy is a nuisance for many teams, as it can come in freely on passive Pokemon like Ferroseed and set up Calm Mind or Stealth Rock with ease thanks to a Sassy nature and 0 Speed IVs, which allows Clefairy to adapt to Ferroseed's increasing popularity. Despite these attributes, Clefairy can fail to check Pokemon that it's usually tasked to handle like Magmortar and Pyroar if they run Taunt. Unfortunately, Clefairy is also weak to physical attackers such as Stoutland and Skuntank; however, Clefairy can be paired with bulky Pokemon like Assault Vest Hitmonchan, Ferroseed, and Gastrodon to mitigate these shortcomings.

Residing in PU since ORAS, Clefairy has always been a powerful force in the metagame. Clefairy possesses one of the best (defensive specifically) typings in the game in pure Fairy, alongside great bulk, Eviolite, (its bulk isn't actually good without eviolite. it's really subpar to be honest) and an excellent ability in Magic guard, which further augments its defensive prowess and grants it an immunity to entry hazards and status (all of this is really screaming overview right now. you could easily edit this to say something like "thanks to good bulk with eviolite and magic guard, clef has stood out as one of the best stealth rock setters in the meta, capable of checking a large portion of the meta"). Calm Mind + Stealth Rock Clefairy is a set surging in viability and it is notorious for its ability to blanket check a number of special attackers such as Aurorus, Mesprit, Alolan Exeggutor, and Oricorio-G (calm mind oricorio-g kinda messes it up) (this set was also introduced as a form of role compression and as a way to help break bulkier teams). However, Clefairy is not constrained to these moves alone, having access to several other support options such as Thunder Wave, Encore, Knock Off, Toxic, and Seismic Toss (this can be edited to be more relevant. you can say that before the opponent sees calm mind, they don't know what set or what utility moves clefairy is running) also make Clefairy a very potent defensive threat in the metagame. Furthermore, Clefairy is a nuisance for many teams, as it can come in freely on many passive Pokemon like Palossand and set up Calm Mind or Stealth Rock with ease (mention the discovery of zero speed ivs clef being able to actually beat ferroseed). Despite these attributes, Clefairy is vulnerable to Taunt users such as Magmortar and Pyroar and its dismal speed stat, susceptibility to Knock Off, and passive nature only exacerbates this issue (mention that pokemon it's supposed to usually check, like pyroar and magmortar, can run moves to get around it, like taunt. this means it then fails to check them). Unfortunately, Clefairy is also weak to physical attackers such as Stoutland and Skuntank; however, Clefairy can be paired with bulky Pokemon like Lanturn, Ferroseed, and Gastrodon to mitigate these shortcomings. (clefairy and lanturn is quite a meh combination, because both struggle with taunt pyroar and magmortar. assault vest hitmonchan would probably be a better alternative)
Tag me once this is implemented. It's not bad, just sounds like an overview in several parts.

Despite these attributes, Clefairy can fail to check Pokemon like Magmortar and Pyroar, that its usually tasked to handle if they run the common Taunt. Unfortunately, Clefairy is also weak to physical attackers such as Stoutland and Skuntank: however, Clefairy can be paired with bulky Pokemon like Assault Vest Hitmonchan, Ferroseed, and Gastrodon to mitigate these shortcomings.
The Ferroseed part is kind of awkwardly written, I like explaining why 0 speed but it sorta segues in out of nowhere. The part about how it loses to taunt mag and pyroar is even more awkwardly written but almost to the point GP have to fix it. idk it's fine, still just leans too heavily into being an analysis like the others

Adding on to what Megazard has said, I'd talk about how -speed and 0 ivs is a relatively new thing and was used to deal with ferroseed's increasing popularity. basically, it adapted to beat a common check to it.

If you do this then QC 1/1.
