SV OU Doom Desire on 1500s (still low, so I need help!)

Yeah, baby. I'm here cause a few days ago I was wondering why people still prefer Future sight over Doom Desire. so... THAT'S JIRACHI'S TIME!
*roaaaaaar!*

@ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Doom Desire
- Psychic
- Wish
- U-turn

I usually started with Jira for first Doom Desire move. It usually surprise the opponent.
U-turn is here for poviting, who allow me to take Jirachi apart and go with Doom desire another time. Psychic for main stab and damn Glommoras lead and wish, sometimes, helps Jira or my next poke. I prefer maximize survabilty, so 252HP investiment could be better than speed, cause i used 252 for maximize the Doom damage too.

@ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave

Jirachi usually force my opponent to switch into Dragapult/Volcarona. When Doom desire is used, i need to check them... so i need an unaware who can use moonblast or paralyze other "difficulties". It's an offensive team, so i need to use a slot for saving rocks.

@ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Tera Blast
- Morning Sun

Volca since last gen is unstoppable. He can scary a lot of pokes, grants OHKO on many others with simply +1 dance. Is here for check other Jirachi's counters (like heatran and kingambit).
Tera blast ground for surprise heatrans and rock type resistance.

@ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Ice Spinner
- Close Combat
- Headlong Rush

Big donphan is here for speed control and late sweep. Nobody can perfectly check Kingambit with +1 Sucker punch (another perfect Doom desire switch) so...

@ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- Play Rough

Water types was a problem for my team, expecially for Dondozo. So water absorb helm me a lot, Horn Leech over Power whip for surviving better/don't miss every fç°#ing time.

@ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 204 HP / 64 SpD / 240 Spe
Timid Nature
- Bleakwind Storm
- Heat Wave
- Knock Off
- U-turn

The hungry bird is here... don't know why. Jirachi is scared by EQs, so a levitate/flying pokemon was very useful there. I choose Tornadus for turn/regenerator, Knock off could be useful but i was thinking about a defensive set. Don't know.

You don't need proofs about ladder, right? 1500s is on mid tier, everybody can do it! *roaaaaar*

Okay... I personal don't like Max Hp Jirachi with no T-wave. Your team have no Shadow Ball switch ins, which get smashed by Choice Spec Dragapult. And you have a grass resist on your team with a move can get some recovery, so you are not that weak to ground types. Here's some ideas:

Jirachi @ Choice Specs
Ability: Serene Grace
Tera Type: Steel/Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Aura Sphere/Trick
- Psychic/Psyshock
- Doom Desire
- U-turn

Spec Jirachi with 140 Bp stab move do crazy dam. Trick can break stall team and Aura Sphere for Kinganbit or otherwise walls Jirachi. Use Physhock to do more dam to Blissey or Clodsire. Tera Fighting for Kinganbit if you need to take a Sucker Punch and Ko back. Tera Steel for Max dam output.

Replace Tornadus for Kinganbit.

Kingambit @ Air Balloon/Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark/Flying/Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant/Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head/ Low Kick

This Kinganbit resist both stab move from Dragapult. You can use Air Balloon as a one time Ground immunity. Black Glasses with Tera Dark to break stall teams. Run Low Kick to beat opp Kinganbit. Tera Flying to dodge Ground type moves and resist Fighting moves. Tera Fire is for Will-O-Wisp Dragapult.

Your team also don't have hazard control, use this set:

Great Tusk @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ice/Fire/Steel/Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Ice Spinner
- Headlong Rush
- Rapid Spin

I did not seen a lot of Great Tusk are using Close Combat . Most of them are using Rapid Spin instead of Close Combat. Tera Ice is for OHKO Gliscor after a +1 boost with Ice Spinner. The remaining three Tera is just for resist Fairy type.

Nice idea of the team, I don't even know Jirachi got this move before I seen this. Enjoy using it!

Only started playing with this team today but its been really fun to use. Was mingling around the 1400s to low 1500s and this team go me into the 1600 for a couple of games. Recommendations by Why & Z were very good as well. Might try the origional set or tweak it myself because passive recovery is always nice but the extra game helps a lot.

I'm so Sorry, my english Is very bad and I don't underdstand this part; can you explain, pls?
Anyway, thanks Why & Z , i've tried to swap tornadus into kingambit and It seems the team much solid now. Jirachi with specs is nice cause trick Is a solid choice for trapping annoyers like dondozo/clodsire.
I'm on late 1500 but unfurtunatly i cannot play too much in these days.

What I mean is I'll try the Jirachi set you made instead and see which I prefer. The specs set is really good to get that extra damage but having passive recovery from leftovers is something I like.

Hopefully I've cleared up the confusion. Again, cheers for the team.

Sure, if you can create a new set you can post It here. Mine bas recovery, for sure Is very good, but trick Is Better for this team cause It suffering stalls.
