Welcome to the signups thread for Doubles World Cup of Pokémon 4! All players looking to participate must sign up in this thread.

Based on the discussion thread, we are looking to have the following teams, though other teams may be considered if they get enough signups:
  • US West
  • US East
  • US Central
  • Canada
  • Latin America
  • Europe
  • Asia Pacific
  • China
  • Italy
  • France
  • India
With the US regions divided by the below map:

Aforementioned regions are subject to change based on sign-ups. For instance, if there are not enough eligible signups for team France, then players that signed up for France would then be eligible for team Europe. We are hoping to achieve eight starters and four substitutes per team. This number is also subject to change based on sign ups.

As per this post on the discussion thread, players are eligible for any region for which they have a significant IP history, and may be grandfathered in to any team which they were part of last year. Additionally, players may be eligible for countries they have played for in the most recent edition of Smogon's WCoP or the official Pokemon VGC World Cup. General eligibility requirements will be based on those used for the official WCoP.

Players can signup using the following format:

Player: Your Username
Region: Which region you are signing up for, which you must be eligible for.
Captaincy: Whether or not you would like to be a team manager of the region you are signing up for.
Other eligibility: Any other regions you may be eligible for, as a backup in case your preferred region does not work out.

Signups will be open for two weeks, meaning you have until October the 29th to signup. Managers will be selected slightly before signups close, and thus will be able to submit lineups shortly after signups close, thus allowing round one to go up on the 29th.
