Floatzel is a strong physical attacker in PU, leveraging powerful Water-type STAB moves, solid coverage, and pivoting to be a flexible wallbreaker. Floatzel greatly appreciates getting Wave Crash in the new generation, replacing its old STAB move and increasing its damage output. Aqua Jet is great for picking off faster threats like Choice Scarf Passimian, Choice Scarf Dodrio, and +2 Vikavolt. Ice Spinner hits Grass-types like Shaymin that would otherwise take multiple Wave Crashes. Floatzel is very good at facilitating VoltTurn cores with Pokemon like Hisuian Electrode, Magneton, and Swanna, getting them in on its switch-ins like Weezing and Houndstone; in return, they can bring Floatzel in on Pokemon like Eelektross and Bronzong. Floatzel lacks any coverage for Water-types like Poliwrath and Lanturn and, despite the Ice-type coverage, also struggles to get past Grass-types like Decidueye and Wo-Chien; therefore, it's recommended to use your own Electric- and Grass-types like Rotom-C and Virizion for the former and Fire- and Flying-types like Typhlosion and Dodrio for the latter.

Aqua Jet is great for picking off faster threats like Sceptile (Mention something else here instead; i get why you added it but scept is most commonly seen on Grassy Terrain where it gets out of AJ range or Psychic Terrain where it does not matter.), Scarf Dodrio, and +2 Vikavolt. Ice Spinner hits Grass-types like Vileplume and Shaymin that would otherwise take multiple Wave Crashes. Floatzel is very good at facilitating VoltTurn cores with Pokemon like Hisuian Electrode, Magneton, and Swanna, getting them in on Floatzel's switchins like Gurdurr (sneak and URd on the VR, mention something else here instead) and Houndstone; in return, they can bring Floatzel in on Pokemon like Eelektross and Bronzong. Floatzel lacks any coverage for Water-types like Lanturn and Poliwrath and, despite the Ice-type coverage, also struggles to get past Grass-types like Decidueye and Vileplume Wo-Chien (Cutting Plume, since we are going to lose it by the time this gets released.). To get past these threats, it's recommended to use your own Electric- and Grass-types like Rotom-Mow and Virizion and Shiftry (Rotom Mow is more relevant atm) for the former, and Fire-types like Typholosion and Charizard Fire- and Flying-types like Typholosion and Dodtrio (going w the more meta relevant mon here) for the latter.
