Aurorus [Optimized]
Abilities: Magic Guard / Prism Armor / Snow Warning
Stats: 123 / 67 / 72 / 129 / 81 / 98 [570 BST]
Added Moves: Power Gem, Volt Switch
Summary of Changes: + 30 SpA, + 40 Spe, - 10 Atk, - 11 SpD
Description/Role: I'll be honest, I have no idea how yall think a slow Rock / Ice type with middling special attack and defenses is optimized. Aurorus needs some serious buffs to pull itself from being a gimmick in ZU. With a huge buff to both Speed and Special Attack, Auororus has somewhat serviceable stats. 98 Spe isn't the best Speed tier, but it's good enough that Aurorus might be usable over Ninetales given that it compresses Veil, Rocks, and now pivoting with Volt Switch (which slower ground Types will never want to switch in on). Outside of being a veil bot, Magic Guard patches the rocks weakness and makes Auororus incredibly difficult to switch into. However, it's defensive typing still sucks, so try and stay on the offensive when using this mon.
Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb / Thick Fat / Simple
Stats: 130 / 85 / 80 / 85 / 95 / 75 [550 BST]
Added Moves: Calm Mind, Dragon Hammer, Flip Turn, Heart Swap, Icicle Crash, Recover, Taunt, Wild Charge
Summary of Changes: + 15 Spe
Description/Role: I took my idea for Lapras from the CAP Naviathan - A Pokémon that has two ways of boosting that are equally viable. While I don't think that Lapras will end up as viable as Naviathan (which isn't even viable in SS CAP), it may find a place in UU or RU. Its new Dragon / Ice typing changes its Grass and Electric weaknesses into resistances, which are more important than neutrality to Dragon and Fairy. It can use either Thick Fat or Water Absorb to help set up, but the real prize is Simple. In one turn, Lapras can either boost to + 2 Spe and Atk with Dragon Dance, or to + 2 SpA and SpD with Calm Mind. To this end, it has been given better coverage to enable two move attacking sets, with either Taunt or Recover as the last move. Again, probably not OU but definitely not bottom tier anymore.
Avalugg [Optimized]
Abilities: Flash Fire / Ice Body / Sturdy
Stats: 95 / 117 / 184 / 50 / 76 / 28 [550 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash, Swords Dance
Summary of Changes: +6 SpA, + 30 SpD
Description/Role: While the Steel typing means you can no longer wall Grounds or take stray fighting type moves, it does give Avalugg many more opportunities to fit into teams as it's no longer only coming in on neutral physical attackers. I wish Heatproof gave immunity to Fire attacks, because it has way better flavor, but it doesn't so here's Flash Fire. This allows Avalugg to pivot on Heatrans and blacephalons, and with improved SpD it can survive their other attacks. Swords Dance is funny as Avalugg actually has a lot of high power attacks. Again, probably not reaching OU, but it's way better at its niche.
