[OVERVIEW]

Genesect is a great Pokemon in the Doubles metagame Metagame, as it's great for building momentum thanks to a powerful U-turn. Download can provide Genesect with offensive presence once it's has switched in, but Genesect has no way to control the chances of getting the boost it requires, and it's easy for Genesect to get the boost it doesn't need (It can't really be easier or harder to get the wrong boost). Genesect can be very vulnerable to an attack since it's usually carries a Choice Scarf, which and it can make Genesect choice-locked Genesect into a poor move that can potentially provide free switch ins for the opponent's baits in certain Pokemons,(RC) .(AP) For example, if Genesect is like being locked into Ice Beam waihere Fire-types can get a free switch in. While Although Genesect isn't a flexible Pokemon, it can use other items besides Choice Scarf,(RC) which can give Genesect an odd speed tier, making it slower against positive base 100s Speed Pokemons such as like,(RC) Mega Kangaskhan and Mega Charizard Y,(RC) ;(ASC)however, (AC) with Choice Scarf, Genesect is able to outspeed top threats in the Doubles metagame and can OHKO Pokemon such as Landorus-T, Shaymin-S, and Latios. and Also,(AC) since Genesect has dismal defenses it requires it to have a large-scale of team supports in order to function well. On the other hand, Choice Scarf grants Genesect the ability to outspeed top threats in the Doubles Metagame and can OHKO Pokemons like, Landorus-T, Shaymin-S, and Latios.

Moves
========
While U-turn is Genesect's STAB move Move, but it also allows Genesect to switch to an appropriate partner. On the other hand (there is nothing to compare),(RC) Iron Head is Genesect's secondary STAB move and that can be spammed it's also spammable as well(you didn't mention anything that was spammable before),(RC) if you have some momentum to spare. It also has a nifty chance to flinch its opponents too, but without this move Genesect it pretty much can't do much nothing (colloquial/slang) to Fairy-types. Ice Beam helps Genesect take on foes such as like Landorus-T (you probably want to give another example here, or else don't say "foes") because without it, Genesect is dead weight against Landorus-T. Flamethrower gives Genesect coverage against a wider range of its opponents, including such as Steel-type Pokemons like,(RC) such as Aegislash, Ferrothorn, and Metagross. Explosion is another option for Genesect as it allows it to pull off a last-ditch effort once it's weaken enough to where the point that it can't do much back to the opposing team anymore. (I know I'm not QC, but I would only use Explosion if I know that Genesect can't take another hit, especially on a Choice Scarf set, maybe something to consider instead of saying "can't do much to the opposing team")

Set Details
========

192 Speed EVs with a Naive nature allows Genesect to outspeed threats such as like, max Speed Jolly nature Landorus-T equipped carrying a with Choice Scarf and including Naive nature Deoxys-A, with max Speed investment. However, Genesect needs to be equip with Choice Scarf in order to outspeed them.(RP) (this set is already the "Choice Scarf" set, and you didn't slash anything behind Choice Scarf either, so this sentence would be redundant.) The Attack EVs helps Genesect increase its physical damage output to the max allowing its STAB moves to deal large off amounts of damage. The leftover EVs are dumped into Special Attack to maximize out Genesect's special damage output offense.(RP) Naive nature is used over Hasty to increases Genesect Speed stat even more while also not hindering either one of Genesect Attack or Special Attack stats (redundant, also "not hindering either... or Special Attack stats" should be inferred".).(RP) This also prevents Genesect from being more susceptible to priority moves than it already is. (I read what the QC said. And I added a bit to compare Naive to Hasty instead of deleting the whole sentence due to redundancy)

Usage Tips
========

Genesect is a good choice in the early game ,(AC)as it can utilize its powerful U-turn U-Turns to switch into the appropriate Pokemon,(RC) and thus,(AC) quickly putting your opponent on the defensive. However, Genesect should play carefully around Protect, the most common move in the metagame, as its poor defenses prevent it from taking hits well and even neutral damage will quickly shorten its lifespan. Another thing to remember is that Genesect is not, and should not be used as a sweeper, but rather as a means of putting punching holes into your opponent'(add apostrophe)s defenses and gathering offensive momentum. That being said, Genesect is also a capable of being a revenge killer thanks to its high Speed and offensive capabilities offenses.

Team Options
========

Genesect has a rough time dealing with opposing Speed Control, so Pokemons that can prevent the use of Trick Room, Thunder Wave, and Tailwind are viable teammates,(RC) this includes Pokemons like such as Gyarados, Thundurus, and Terrakion since these Pokemons have access to the move Taunt. Pokemons that can handle the likes of Fire-type Pokemons are exceptional teammates for Genesect. This includes Water-type Pokemons such as,(RC) Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Gyarados. Genesect also fears Water-type Pokemons because it they can force Genesect it to switch out since it really wouldn't like taking a Scald, or even getting burned too. Dragon-type Pokemons does an excellent job dealing with Water-types since they don't mind switching in against onto them, and Genesect can help deal out while dealing with Fairy-types, Landorus-T, and even Steel-types. Rock-type Pokemons ,(AC) such as,(AC) Terrakion and Mega Diancie can also check Fire-type Pokemons as well, this includes Pokemons like, Terrakion and Mega-Diancie. However,(RC) Garchomp is also a solid option because it can beats the common Fire-type Pokemons such as, Heatran, Mega Charizard Y, and Talonflame, and while Genesect can deal with Pokemon that can check Garchomp checks such as, Diancie, Latios, Kyurem-B, Choice Scarf Hydreigon, and Landorus-T. Pokemon that takes advantage of Genesect's momentum are good teammates since Genesect lures in Fire-types and Calm Mind Cresselia sets up on them with ease, and Substitute Attackers like Kyurem-B and Heatran also works and even Belly Drum Azumarill also appreciates this kind of momentum since it keeps Fire-type in the field and while Grass-type can't switch in because of Genesect. Pokemon who can take advantage of Genesect's momentum and its ability to lure in fire-types, such as Calm Mind Cresselia, Substitute attackers such as Kyurem B, and Heatran, and even Belly Drum Azumarill are great teammates. If you're using Explosion on Genesect, then using having a Ghost-type partner such as Gengar would help a lot since you would have something to switch into while Genesect is going for Explosion, so any none of your Pokemons won't get caught in the crossfire.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Genesect can also use a Special Offensive Choice Scarf set with Energy Ball instead (instead of what), if you really need a type of coverage against Water-types. Thunder is usable if you want to use Genesect on a rain team, and the same goes with Thunderbolt as well, but it should only be used out of rain. A non-Choice Scarf set with the item of Life Orb or either Expert Belt, is also somewhat of an option since it capitalizes upon Genesect's wide range of coverage moves, and it also bluffs the opponents into thinking that Genesect was carrying a you were Choice Scarf and to gets surprised KOs. Choice Band is also an option for Genesect, as it allows Genesect to hit foes really hard with it. Extreme Speed is another option for Genesect as it can help Genesect out-priority other Pokemon that uses priority moves such as like,(RC) Mega Kangaskhan, Bisharp, and Talonflame.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Typing Advantage** (only Fire-type Pokemon have a typing advantage against Genesect; therefore, Water-type Pokemon should have their own section): Fire-type Pokemons,(RC) such as,(RC) Mega Charizard Y and Talonflame can both easily beat KO Genesect since this set is lacking the move Thunderbolt and therefore it cannot hit any of these Pokemons for effective damage. Genesect can at least try to 2HKO Mega Charizard Y with Thunderbolt, but Mega Charizard Y can retaliate back with a super effective STAB Heat Wave in the sun, so keep that in mind. Other kinds of Fire-type Pokemons,(RC) such as,(RC) Rotom-H, Heatran, and Mega-Camerupt which are all more bulky-oriented Pokemons that can also easily beat KO Genesect since Genesect's attacks do pitiful damage against these Pokemons, and while they can all retaliate back with their own super effective STAB Fire-type moves. Bulky Water-type Pokemons doesn't fear any moves that Genesect throws at them don't fear Genesect's moves, but they don't still doesn't appreciate taking a U-turn either from Genesect. This includes Pokemons such as like Rotom-W, Suicune, Politoed, and even Keldeo because it sponges any attacks that Genesect throws at it. Genesect is also prone to being locked into one selected move, so if you can scout out for Genesect's movepool, you will be able to gain a lot of momentum if you can predict what Genesect can do, and take appropriate action, because Genesect would be forced out and see what move it locked itself into, and switch in the appropriate Pokemon that resist the move it locked itself into, then you can gain a lot of momentum from that since it forces Genesect to hard switch out. Aegislash can take advantage of how bulky it is and it can tank all of Genesect's moves and hit right back deal decent damage with Shadow Balls, and even if Genesect is running Flamethrower it's still a 3HKO without the Download boost. However, Aegislash can sometimes carry Weakness Policy and if the Genesect user player is completely unaware of that, Aegislash will tank the Flamethrower from Genesect and it will be able to OHKO Genesect with a +2 Shadow Ball retaliate and hit right back with a +2 Shadow Ball and OHKO Genesect.

**Intimidate and Burns**: Intimidate users,(RC) such as,(RC) Scrafty, Gyarados, and Hitmontop can easily frighten Genesect since because Genesect's attacks won't do as much due to the Attack drop any of Genesect attacks doesn't do that much to these Pokemons.(RP) ;(ASC)however, (AC) Although Gyarados isn't much of a threat if you're running Thunderbolt instead, so keep that in mind. Genesect also needs to watch out for burns as much as possible since because Genesect's STAB moves won't be doing that as much if it gets crippled by burns, and the residual damage can also wear Genesect down Genesect quickly as well,(RC).(AP) Thus,(AC) so basically Genesect needs to stay away from these Pokemons that can use the move Will-O-Wisp,(RC) or either Scald,(RC) this includes Pokemons like such as Rotom-W,(AC) and Rotom-H, Suicune, and Keldeo.

**Speed Control**: Moves like such as Icy Wind, Thunder Wave, Tailwind, and Trick Room can cripple Genesect by making it become slower to Pokemons that can outspeed it afterwards. Common Pokemons that can use these moves include are,(RC) Rotom-W,(AC) and Rotom-H, Thundurus, Suicune, Talonflame, Yache Berry Salamence, Cresselia, and Jellicent.

Anyways... Hope I helped.

**Speed Control**: Moves such as Icy Wind, Thunder Wave, Tailwind, and Trick Room can cripple Genesect by making it become slower. Common users of these moves include Rotom-W, Rotom-H, Thundurus, Suicune, Talonflame, Yache Berry Salamence, Cresselia, and Jellicent.
