[SET COMMENTS]
Swords Dance Baxcalibur serves as a powerful wallbreaker and lategame cleaner, breaking through most of the metagame once set up. Earthquake allows it to break through defensive answers such as Garganacl and Toxapex as well as Steel-types like Gholdengo and Heatran. Heavy-Duty Boots can be used to remove its Stealth Rock weakness, letting it safely find more opportunities to come in while Loaded Dice sets make use of its access to Scale Shot and Icicle Spear; Scale Shot allows Baxcalibur to boost its middling speed to the point where it can threaten a sweep, while on the other hand, Icicle Spear is an incredibly consistent Ice-type STAB move in conjunction with Loaded Dice, letting it more reliably break through targets such as Skarmory and Ferrothorn. Tera Dragon boosts Baxcalibur's Glaive Rush and Scale Shot to scary levels at +2, allowing it to quickly clean up games while also shedding its Ice-type weaknesses to set up in front of Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Great Tusk. Tera Steel lets Baxcalibur deny Choice Scarf Tapu Lele from revenge killing as well as giving Baxcalibur an immunity to Toxic from Pokemon like Toxapex, while Tera Fairy affords a resistance to Fighting-type moves, preventing Iron Valiant and Urshifu-R from revenge killing. Teammates that can make use of Baxcalibur's ability to easily break through defensive cores reliant on Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Heatran such as Urshifu-R, Mega Scizor, and Volcarona work well as teammates, while Baxcalibur appreciates Steel-types that can safely check offensive threats like Tapu Lele and Kartana looking to revenge kill it such as Gholdengo and Ferrothorn. Baxcalibur also appreciates teammates like Landorus-T and Zapdos with their ability to check and pivot out on Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Zamazenta. Teammates that can chip down foes such as Mega Scizor and Skarmory that annoy Baxcalibur such as Toxapex, Rotom-W, and Moltres are also very appreciated.
