I know this is a WIP, so you could just be adding this, but are CB / Scarf sets viable this gen?

Couple things:

- Bounce can probably still be on Sub+DD. It is a bit rocky with things like Aegislash existing, but Bounce is still fairly viable. At worst AC it.
- Add Dragon Dance on the RestTalk set. With the downgrade of bulky Waters and Rotom-W is the only big one. At worst AC it.

SET NAME

name: Bulky
move 1: Waterfall
move 2: Taunt
move 3: Thunder Wave
move 4: Earthquake / Roar
ability: Intimidate
item: Leftovers
evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
nature: Impish

This set still rocks my socks off. Thunder Wave and Taunting is really good because one common switch-in you'll get is Skarmory. So forcing Skarmory to Brave Bird is great. Even paralyzing it helps sometimes. Other weird Pokemon also can come into Gyarados. The only problem is that Rotom-W really makes this set hell. I would still put it in under RestTalk.

The primes for this set include handling some of the bigger threats such as Mega Lucario without Stone Edge and a few others. Intimidate really helps bulk it out while, in some cases, if you have to sack Gyarados Thunder Wave can cripple a Pokemon just enough. It does well as a Heatran switch-in but Toxic / Burn really sucks.

Teammates would include those that can take advantage of Skarmory locked onto Brave Bird for example (Rotom-W), Excadrill is also a good teammate if Rotom-W is that much of a pain. AV Conk works wonders too since it tackles Rotom-W. Just some minor examples. Wish Clefable is also great though you may want a Wish partner that attracts Heatran a little less (or look around for a Heal Bell).

In this generation with Mega Lucario being a very big threat I've made Earthquake the primary option instead of Roar; however, Roar works just fine. Physical Lucario is easy enough to tackle since Close Combat is the best move to use in this situation and the -Def drop nets Lucario directly into OHKO range of EQ.

If there is a reason for bulky dd to have a +speed nature, please explain why in the comments, because I'm wondering why it isn't impish or even adamant. Scarf rotom still beats you.

Originally it was for Pokemon like Jolteon. Though yes, Adamant is better now that Jolteon's existence is dead.

Either way this analysis has been abandoned by its owner Subject 18 , so it should be closed -> moved anyway.
