I've been watching alot of videos in regards to heavily sexualized content being promoted in schools in the US, some reports even state that the content is shown to students in elementary school.
As I do not live in the USA I wanted to know from people who live there what is the situation down there?
Now, from what I have seen (big emphasis on this), when the LGBTQ community are debating parents opposed to this hypersexualization being so prominent in schools, the no.1 thing brought up is that "the rights of the LGBQT community".
I don't see how "rights" of any community goes hand in hand with polluting any person's child with porn. You can try to phrase it any other way but you have books showing graphic images (so bad to the point that they are blurred out during news segments.
What do you think can be done about this (if anything) or perhaps you think it is perfectly reasonable for children to be exposed to these type of things?
As a senior school leader, I understand and appreciate that students have to learn about different types of people but I feel like this is where the line needs to be drawn.
Hope we can have a discussion and that I don't get banned for stating some facts, even if you don't like it.
