[OVERVIEW]
  • Solid bulk and great typing, great offensive check to several OU threats such as Keldeo, Rotom, Manaphy, Toxapex
  • Its typing allows it to check / force out Ground-types like Landorus-I, Water-types such as Keldeo or Manaphy, and most Grass-types like Amoonguss or Venusaur-M
  • Reliable Defog user with a great combinaison of defensive abilities, typing and decent power
  • Has access to Healing Wish, which is its main attrait over Latios
  • Great speed tier allowing it to outspeed a great range of threats such as Manaphy, Kartana, Keldeo
  • Faces competition from Latios
  • Doesn't have access to its Mega-Evolution as of yet, which was one of its main niche over Latios in ORAS
  • Walled by Steel-types and Fairy-types
  • Its Psychic-typing brings weaknesses to U-Turn and Pursuit
  • The arrival of new Fairy-types such as Magearna or Tapu Lele makes its job harder

========

  • Draco Meteor : Most powerful attack, do huge damages to mons that don't resist it
  • Psyshock : Consistent STAB without a malus giving it a way to damage Keldeo, Toxapex, Venusaur while hitting Fairy-types
  • Healing Wish : Latias' main niche over Latios, remove all damage and status from one of its teammate, giving another sweeper a chance to wreck havoc
  • Defog : Removes all entry hazards from the field, but you can play Roost if you'd rather make it stick around longer
  • Roost : Maximises Latias' staying power

Probably worth renaming to Offensive Support or something since slashing the namesake is odd.

I think a bulky set with Soul Dew as the item, max HP investment and Timid+max speed deserves mention. Roost/Defog/Psychic (or Psyshock)/Draco Meteor (or coverage).

The extra bulk is actually really nice on Latias and it lets you Defog safely multiple times throughout a match, and Soul Dew gives you an almost-Life Orb's worth of damage on your STAB moves without any recoil.

You cold also run Reflect Type (something Latias has over her brother) to block Pursuit trappers. Basically you'd be a mini-Mega Latias with less bulk but more power.
