Winners
:butterfree: > :unknown: / :beedrill: > :beedrill-mega:
Pokémon: Butterfree
Link: Mega Evolution
Name of the Mega: Mega Butterfree
Name of the Mega Stone: Butterfrite
Type:

Ability: Magic Guard
Stats: 60 HP / 55 ATK / 70 DEF / 110 SpA / 130 SpD / 70 Speed (495 BST)
Added Moves: Expending Force, Extrasensory, Future Sight, Light Screen, Reflect, Dazzling Gleam
Weight: 52 kg | Height: 1.5 m
Flavor/Design: Takes a more majestic appearance with a more colorful wings, with the black spots become red and the white parts become a blend of purple, pink and magenta.
Competitive Overview: To contrast Beedrill’s fast and frail nature as a Mega Evolution, Mega Butterfree goes on a more slower but comparatively bulkier approach. Magic Guard protects it from residual damage and, after Mega Evolving, damaging entry hazards for turns beyond turn 1. Its Speed is low, which heavily encourages the use of Quiver Dance, and is physically frail, leaving it vulnerable against multiple priority moves, especially Sucker Punch, and isn’t able to do much against most Steel-type without Hidden Power.

Added Moves: Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Fling, Lash Out, Nasty Plot
Weight: 21 kg
Flavor/Design: Looks like a canon lol
Competitive Overview: Hit them with boosted dark pulses and aura spheres. Still probably aint that good but there's not much you can do with Weepinbell.
Congratulations to Samtendo09 and Gravity Monkey for winning!

For the Alolan Growlithe line, we have a 3-way tie between ViZar, Samtendo09, and Spiderpig2398. To break the tie, we will have a short tiebreaker vote for the first couple days of the next slate. Vote for one of the 3 below options:

Alolan Growlithe Stats: 55 HP / 60 ATK / 45 DEF / 70 SpA / 50 SpD / 70 Speed (350 BST)
Alolan Arcanine Stats: 90 HP / 90 ATK / 80 DEF / 110 SpA / 80 SpD / 105 Speed (555 BST)
Added Moves:
(Both) Surf, Dive, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Scald, Waterfall, Liquidation, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Flip Turn, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind
(Alolan Arcanine only) Aqua Tail, Final Gambit, Brine, Vacuum Wave
Removed Moves: Fire Blast, Ember, Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Fire Fang, Burn Up, Flare Blitz, Heat Wave, Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, Flame Charge, Incinerate
Alolan Growlithe Weight: 20 kg | Height: 0.8 m
Alolan Arcanine Weight: 145 kg | Height: 1.9 m
Flavor/Design: Both turn blue and white, with the top fur shaped like a wave of water. The pattern also changes to a water light pattern we see in Japanese medias, more frequently in anime. The Growlithe line adapt to Alola by gaining the ability to travel the ocean, allowing them to reach any of the four islands with grace and by concentrating their chi power.
Competitive Overview: Alolan Arcanine fuctions similarly to Keldeo, but with less power and yet with wider Abilities available. Bewilder in particular is threatening against most Special Attackers if holding an Assault Vest. Vacuum Wave also serves as an useful Special Fighting priority for Alolan Arcanine, potentially unique among Fighting-types that can learn this move alongside Lucario and Infernape.

Pokémon: Growlithe, Arcanine
Link: Alolan Forms
New Regional Form Name: Growlithe-Alola, Arcanine-Alola
Type:
(Both)
Abilities: Intimidate / Wind Turbine* | Cloud Nine
Wind Turbine: Nullifies the enemy's Flying-Type moves. The first time the user is hit by one, increase power of own Flying-Type attacks by 50% until switched out. (Flash Fire variant)
Growlithe-A Stats: 55/70/45/70/50/60 (Unchanged from regular Growlithe)
Arcanine-A Stats: 90/110/80/91/80/104 (SpAtk -9, Spe +9)
Added Moves: Acrobatics, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Brave Bird, Defog, Fly, Gust, Roost (Both)
Hurricane, Sky Attack, Thunder, Thunderbolt (Arcanine-A only)
Removed Moves: Burn Up, Ember, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, Heat Wave, Overheat, Scorching Sands
Weight: 12 kg / 26.5 lb (Growlithe-A), 125 kg / 275.6 lb (Arcanine-A)
Flavor/Design (Optional): A more cloud-colored and cloud-shaped variant of the line in appearance, including their paws having little cloud trails behind them. Their tail is now something more akin to a wind turbine, which can propel them forwards at high enough speeds to 'run' on the air.

Competitive Overview (Optional): Powerful and quick physical attacker that can choose to either punish Defog users (Will-O-Wisp affects Flash Fire, so that's good enough justification to work on status moves), or lean into being a physically defensive flying type. Cloud Nine lets it perform a bit of anti-weather as well, being immune to sand/hail damage and nullifying reliant abilities, but it's somewhat niche by comparison when you can also use it in rain teams. Stat adjustment using the weird number of 9 for the change mirrors what happened with Ninetales, but using the other attacking stat. Unlike Ninetales, its Special Attack is still alright, and it has solid coverage to use it with.

This was definitely not inspired by the fact Arcanine's Japanese name is Windie. Nope.

Competitive Overview (Optional)[/B]: Alolan Arcanine is a more defensive Pokémon than its Kanto-Counterpart. It has a great defensive typing, with good stats and abilities to back it up.

Flavor/Design (Optional): Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales become Ice-type which is the opposite of Fire, some might say. So, my alolan Growlithe and Arcanine are Water-type since it's also an opposite of Fire. Arcanine has the Dragon-type to contrast the Fairy-type of Alolan Ninetales.

I already won Mega Butterfreee, so I’ll give ViZar the win for Alolan Growlithe line!

Now, commenting on the winners:
  • My Mega Butterfree: Can’t comment much since this is my submission. I’d be confident that despite low starting speed, it can be quite a threat with Quiver Dance and naturally high Special Attack and Special Defense, in addition of Magic Guard.
  • Gravity Monkey’s Canonbell: I’m not confident with this one. Low Speed means it have to rely on Chlorophyll to outspeed, but then it will miss on the Mega Launcher boost. Grass / Dark and low bulk means it won’t be able to do wallbreaking process all that well either. Marginally better than Victreebel’s direction, but only so far. Don’t expect it to see usage in OU-based metagame of this Pet Mod outside of Sun teams. But after a Nasty Plot, a +2 Mega Launcher Dark Pulse can 2HKO Blissey, so it will be a powerful wallbreaker if you can pull it off.

Pokémon: Ekans

New Regional Form Name: Ekans-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Swift Swim/Shed Skin/Dry Skin
Stats: 35/60/39 (-5)/40/49 (-5)/65 (+10) (BST 288)

Type:

Abilities: Swift Swim/Shed Skin/Dry Skin
Stats: 60/95/59 (-10)/65/69 (-10)/100 (+20) (BST 448)
Added Moves: Psychic Fangs, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Psycho Shift, Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Waterfall
Removed Moves: Fire Fang, Stomping Tantrum, Earthquake, Rock Tomb, Bulldoze, Rock Slide
Weight: 57.0 kg
Flavor/Design: Quick research showed that there's one snake in hawaii that's not introduced by humans, and that's the yellow-bellied sea snake which incidentally is in the same family as cobras. So while we just had a part-Water Arcanine, I had to do this.
Stat changes are bordering on drastic but just let me have this Arbok isn't getting by with that low BST otherwise. Swift Swim references sea snakes being good swimmers, and Dry Skin is about how they can just dehydrate if they don't get access to fresh water. Main added moves are Water with a bit of Psychic, given yellow-bellied sea snake's venom containing neurotoxins, while the removed moves are mostly land-based moves or ones that don't fit on a Water-type.
The designs themselves would most likely be an Ekans/Arbok with black back and yellow belly, with Ekans' rattlesnake tail removed and Arbok's hood shrunk in size and stretched long so that it looks more hydrodynamic. It might also just be possible to have yellow patterns flash along their back to emphasize on the Psychic aspect.

Pokémon: Electrode
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Gluttohm (Glutton + Ohm)
Type:

Abilities: Soundproof/Static/Aftermath
Stats: 100 (+40)/50/80 (+10)/90 (+10)/85 (+5)/130 (-20) (BST 535)
Added Moves: Boomburst, Final Gambit, Energy Ball, Stockpile, Swallow, Spit Up
Weight: 235.2 kg
Flavor/Design: Electrode's dex entry talks about it feasting on electricity at power plants, so Gluttohm is just an Electrode that ate way too damn much electricity and got slower as a mirror to Magnezone's similar speed drop. To reflect how fed it is, its HP is now far higher which is totally not done for Final Gambit shenanigans, no no sir.
Normal type might be a bit of a stretch, but given the other famous big eater in Snorlax I feel like this should be fine, and it does end up with good compatibility with Boomburst (which I only remembered upon thinking of a STAB to give it). Speaking of Boomburst, it not being on Electrode to begin with was curious anyways, given it having several sound-based moves from level up and it being called, well, Boom-burst. Abilities are kept the same to mirror Magnezone not changing abilities, either.
Genuinely unsure what design it'd have, outside of it not just being an upgraded Pokeball or something generic like that. Maybe an opened Pokeball?

Pokémon: Magneton
Link: Base Stat Total Change
Stats: 50/60/95/120/70/80 (+10) (BST 475)
Justification: Considering Magnezone, is there a reason to add this +10 to anywhere but speed?
...Okay maybe attack but 70 attack ain't gonna do jack, mate.

Weight: 162.0 kg -> 232.0 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional)
Competitive Overview: Incredibly high Special Defense and decent Defense, as well as an incredibly powerful ability in Regenerator will likely propel this fish to OU to become the premier defensive mega of stall teams and even balance. With options such as Toxic, Recover and Flip Turn, Milotic can constantly pivot in and out of combat while wearing down opponents. It’s Special Attack is also relatively high, allowing it to serve as a bulky attacker for balance teams with Calm Mind sets.

Pokémon: Milotic

Name of the Mega: Mega Milotic
Name of the Mega Stone: Milotite
Type:

Ability: Unaware
Stats: 95 / 70 (+10) / 109 (+30) / 130 (+30) / 155 (+30) / 81 (640 BST)
Added Moves: Aurora Veil, Ice Shard, Icicle Spear, Barrier, Glare, Psychic
Weight: 262 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Upon Mega Evolving, Milotic's tail blossoms into a fan of sharp stalagmites, its hair-like fins become long icicles, and its antennae are adorned with teardrop-shaped ice cubes. The icy appearance of Milotic's body serves to reflect the icy personality of these serpentine Pokémon, as it often uses its beauty to lure in fisherman and Water Pokémon before freezing them with one gaze and taking them underwater. If a Milotic Mega Evolves nearby, fisherman are advised to abandon ship as soon as they notice mist coming into the area, lest they resign themselves to a chilling fate.
Competitive Overview (Optional): I still wanted to keep the rearranged Gyarados stat spread, but instead of making it Water/Fairy, I went with another flavorful type in Water/Ice. I also wanted to connect Mega Gyarados' ability to ignore the opponent's ability via Mold Breaker by giving Milotic the ability to ignore the opponent's stat boosts, giving it Unaware. With Unaware, huge 95/109/155 bulk, and utility in Barrier, Scald, Haze, and Glare (the closest thing to freezing someone just by looking at them, other than Freezing Glare ig), Mega Milotic is a wall that can stop many a sweep, especially from special attackers, in their tracks. It does have to be careful, as it's a Stealth Rock weak mon that can't wear Heavy-Duty Boots, has to rely on Recover to stay healthy since it can't hold Leftovers, and it's very passive, but being that bulky with Unaware and having Glare gives you more than enough reason to consider using Mega Milotic

:sm/ekans::sm/arbok:
Pokémon: Ekans
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Ekans-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate / Illuminate / Searchlights - Compound Eyes clone
Stats: 35 / 60 / 44 / 40 / 44 / 65 (288 BST)
Added Moves: Surf, Scald, Liquidation, Waterfall, Soak, Whirlpool, Water Gun, Charge Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Spotlight, Rage Powder, Flash, Scale Shot, Absorb, Bullet Seed, Energy Ball, Grass Knot, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Leech Seed, Power Whip, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Solar Beam, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Dive, Skitter Smack
Removed Moves: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Rock Slide, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Fissure, Poison Fang, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Rock Tomb, Venoshock, Spite, Sunny Day, Mud Bomb, Dig
Weight: 5.4 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): After being brought to Akala Island, Ekans were quickly attracted by the light emitted by Morellul in Brooklet Hill and began to live there. However, while they loved to gawk at Morellul's light, they found themselves struggling to find food as the local Dewpiders were protected by their Water Bubbles and the local Surskit were too fast to catch and eat. Thus, the Ekans turned to the water to feed on fish Pokemon like lone Wishiwashi. They adjusted to the dark Waters of Brooklet Hill's night by having Morellul cover them in luminous spores to help them light their way. Overtime, Ekans started developing their own spores that surround their eyes that's covered in luminous spores, allowing their eyes to act as flashlights.
Competitive Overview (Optional): It has painfully mediorce stats, but 97% accurate Sleep Powder + Coil alone might give this thing a small niche in LC as a set up sweeper. Just too bad it can't deal with Grookey at all other than maybe Glaring it if you have it

Pokémon: Arbok
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Arbok-Alola
Type:

Abilities: Intimidate / Illuminate / Searchlights - Compound Eyes clone
Stats: 60 / 95 / 69 / 55 / 69 / 100 (448 BST)
Added Moves: Hydro Pump, Surf, Scald, Liquidation, Waterfall, Soak, Whirlpool, Water Gun, Charge Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Spotlight, Rage Powder, Flash, Scale Shot, Absorb, Bullet Seed, Energy Ball, Grass Knot, Grassy Glide, Grassy Terrain, Leech Seed, Power Whip, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Solar Beam, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Blizzard, Dive, Skitter Smack
Removed Moves: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Rock Slide, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Acid, Acid Spray, Belch, Fissure, Poison Fang, Poison Sting, Poison Tail, Rock Tomb, Venoshock, Spite, Sunny Day, Dark Pulse, Fire Fang, Throat Chop, Stomping Tantrum, Mud Bomb, Dig
Flavor/Design (Optional): Alolan Arboks have perfected the ability to use luminescent spores, now being able to illuminate their hoods to create monstrous scares to intimidate competitors or soothing images to lure in prey. The lights also make their vision top notch, so they are easily able to spot and track down any fish Pokemon caught in their crosshairs. Trainers that own Alolan Arboks often use their lights to create light shows, which are perfect for waterside picnics.
Water-typing mirrors how Ninetales and Sandslash both had different counterparts but are both Ice-types, so their counterparts Arcanine and Arbok are both Water-types
Competitive Overview (Optional): 100 Speed and a 97% accurate sleep move give Alolan Arbok a niche as a fast sleep spreader, being the 2nd fastest Pokemon with Sleep Powder, behind Jumpluff, and the fastest thing with a >80% accurate sleep move, letting it easily spread sleep. After it puts something to sleep, it can either attempt to set up and sweep with Coil or put up a Substitute and spam Leech Seed. It's horribly frail, and pretty weak, and because of sleep clause, it becomes way less useful after putting one mon to sleep, so it's not gonna change the world or anything but it shouldn't be terrible

Type:

Abilities: Soundproof / Bulletproof / Aftermath
Stats: 80 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 90 / 140 (535 BST)
Added Moves: Rising Voltage, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Weather Ball, Electroweb, Steamroller, Aura Sphere, Bounce, Barrage, Seed Bomb, Sludge Bomb
Weight: 199.9 kg
Flavor/Design (Optional): Galvasters look like upside down Master Balls and is thus the king of all things spherical. Galvasters can roll the fastest, bounce the highest, explode the loudest, and summon an assortment of spherical energies in battle. They highly explosive and are much bigger than Electrodes, so the evolution of Electrodes near power plants is closely monitored
Competitive Overview (Optional): You know Accelgor? Take that, but replace the utility options like Spikes, Encore, and Final Gambit with much better offensive coverage. Coverage in Thunderbolt, HP Ice, Focus Blast, and Energy Ball with great speed and decent Special Attack could makes Galvaster worth maybe thinking about over other Electric-types

Added Moves: Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Wish, Teleport, Calm Mind

Flavor: Mega Gyarados destroys everything, so Mega Milotic has to heal everything!
Competitive: Mega Milotic has incredible special bulk, and can act as a Wishpasser or a setup user with CM and Triage Draining Kiss.

New Regional Form Name: Ekans-Alola
Type: Fairy
Ability: Shed Skin/Flame Body/(HA:Cold Blooded (Chlorophyll clone))
Stats: 35/50/49/40/59/55
Added Moves: Play Rough, Moonblast, Misty Explosion, Spirit Break, Dragon Dance, Slack Off
ReMoved: All poison type moves except Coil, all dark type moves
Weight: 20.3 lbs
Flavor: When Ekans was brought to Alola, it became more docile because of the sun’s rays heating it. Instead of poison in its fangs, it has a calming liquid that can stop any fight.
Competitive: Offensive setup w/ DD and recovery

Pokemon: Arbok :arbok:
Link: Regional Form
New Regional Form Name: Arbok-Alola
Type: Fairy/Fire
Ability: Shed Skin/Flame Body/(HA:Cold Blooded (Chlorophyll clone))
Stats: 70/95/79/45/89/80
Added Moves: Play Rough, Moonblast, Spirit Break, Dragon Dance, Slack Off, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Flare Blitz, Wild Charge, Fire Spin, Misty Explosion, Scorching Sands, Fire Lash, Burning Jealousy, Solar Beam, Solar Blade
ReMoved: All poison type moves except Coil, all dark type moves, Iron Tail
Weight: 192.1 lbs
Flavor: After all that time sunbathing on the beach, Arboks became warm blooded. So warm blooded, that, in fact, if they had spent a long enough time on the beach, then they would reach up to 2000 degrees fahrenheit. They gained the ability to draw heat from themselves and shoot fire.
Competitive: Alolan Arbok has an interesting offensive typing and access to Dragon Dance and Slack Off as recovery. It can lower defense with Fire Lash and weaken Special Attackers with a bulkier set too. It could work well on a sun team too, with its new ability Cold Blooded.

Pokemon: Electrode :electrode:
Link: Evolution
New Evolution Name: Zappoch (Zap-och)
Type: Electric
Ability: Soundproof/Static/(HA:Prankster)
Stats: 70/50/80/100/80/155
Added Moves: Switcharoo, Tailwind, Reflect, Simple Beam, Topsy Turvy, Electroweb
Weight: 196.3 lbs
Flavor: What’s round, explodes a lot, and likes to prank people? It's Zappoch! When they realized that they could prank people with their appearance as a Master Ball, they started to do it constantly. The name is because (if you couldn’t tell) the Electrode line always has an O as the third to last letter of the name.
Competitive: Meet Whimsicott and Regieleki combined! Zappoch handles both the Prankster role and the speed control role. It can use both Tailwind and Electroweb to allow your team to outspeed, get off some fast screens, and more. It has decent bulk and superfast speed.

I'll start voting for this slate in the morning, but really quickly

Flavor/Design (Optional):
It gets turned upside-down again, but it’s grin continues to spread! This frightening sphere has a spoooky presence.
Watthere’s enormous grin scares children and sends shivers down spines. It has an ominous presence.
Competitive Overview (Optional): This is all for the memes. Doubles Boomburst with maybe Focus Sash, and then Doubles Boom
Good sub, but the BST limit for Electrode's evo is 535, so you'll have to subtract 15 from its BST

Voting has started!

Voting will follow a weighted-points system, where you vote for up to 3 submissions in each category. Each sub you vote for earns a certain number of points depending on their position. The submission with the most points wins that category. You can vote yourself, but never as your most preferred option

Example -
If you vote for 3 things -

Flavor/Design (Optional)
Competitive Overview: Incredibly high Special Defense and decent Defense, as well as an incredibly powerful ability in Regenerator will likely propel this fish to OU to become the premier defensive mega of stall teams and even balance. With options such as Toxic, Recover and Flip Turn, Milotic can constantly pivot in and out of combat while wearing down opponents. It’s Special Attack is also relatively high, allowing it to serve as a bulky attacker for balance teams with Calm Mind sets.

Galvasters can roll the fastest, bounce the highest, explode the loudest, and summon an assortment of spherical energies in battle. They highly explosive and are much bigger than Electrodes, so the evolution of Electrodes near power plants is closely monitored
Competitive Overview (Optional): You know Accelgor? Take that, but replace the utility options like Spikes, Encore, and Final Gambit with much better offensive coverage.
