  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.
  • Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.

Felt like some predicts.

Driftveil City Drilburs vs. Littleroot Lotads - Outside of Wakes, Lotads I'm kinda hype for but that's mostly me being a fan of Dugza/Floss gaming. Drilburs seems like it'd be a hot mess in the discord with some players but still some really solid players in the lineup.
SV: crashy vs Xiri - Can't Bold against my man Crashy. Positive he's doing a bunch for old gens behind the scenes, interested to see how this one goes. My main worry is the SV support the drilburs have tbh. Giving Xiri credit though, player is solid and Crash would need to put in work for this one.
SV: XSTATIC COLD vs Floss - Honestly Floss I put in top 4 for my PR, Att was right to be high on his opp last week but Floss beating him last week is just Floss being goated.
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Tack - Unless he brings wonky building like Dudunsparce normal my moneys on Dieu here.
SV: maroon vs Amukamara - Both are solid players, I think I'd normally bold Maroon but Amukamara is a proven player and coming off a Chait win. Kinda feel he'll have better support too, whereas Maroon I wouldn't be surprised to find out was alot more by himself in the builder behind the scenes.
SS: dex vs tko - moreso a feeling on this one.
SM: Z Strats vs blunder - Heard alot about Z Strats, blunder is a youtuber, can't say I'm really confident though either way in who wins here but have heard about both.
ORAS: SuperEpicAmpharos vs DugZa - Dugza is Goated, kinda wish I could see him outside ORAS but outside of bad mu I bold him here.
BW: Monai vs North - Both are solid players with Monai proving himself in what most would say is Crashy's slot, and outside of a few misplays I think North is also known and has proven himself as adept at the tier.

Fuchsia Fairies vs. Hearthome Honchkrows - Fairies are lacking a bit in experienced builders for old gens, whereas Trich and Att decided to get themselves half off by comanaging. Kinda hope Fairies do a strong showing but feel like Honchkrows are favored.
SV: Azick vs Scarlet Stars - Don't even know if I know who Scarlet is but Fairies spent 25k on Azick, I meme on him but still is solid.
SV: Meta vs Cell - Don't know how confident I am in Cell as a player for gen 9 but Meta is consistent and good af
SV: silver grace vs Vodoom - I'm happy SIlver's in the tour and think he's proven himself, but in a neutral mu I favor vodoom here through and through.
SV: roxie vs Trichotomy - Trich is as impressive as ever, give him like 2 days and he'd top gen 9 ladder with an 89 gxe. Roxie is still good but favor Trich 10 times/10.
SS: clean vs fade - this is moreso me being unopinionated, I'd need to rewatch replays though I know both are good players. This is also a slot I think has solid support on both ends.
SM: Ashbala vs avarice - Ashbala I'm a fan of since we were on blt teams together, however I feel he underdelivers a bit more notably in these big tours whereas Avarice seems pretty consistent.
ORAS: SoulWind vs Jojo8868 - I'm really just not confident in Soulwind's builders, I feel like if he was on any other team he would be way more threatening. Fairies Gen 6 builders also don't have the same experience as Honchkrows, or most teams I'm looking at, which is unfort considering. That being said it's gen 6, it's basically just recycled MPL teams that c team 3 types.
BW: juleocesar vs Attribute - Haven't seen Juleo in this tier yet, though att is att.

Goldenrod Gengars vs. Tohjo Falls Thunders - Both are solid teams, with Gengars leading the pack right now and the Thunders also undefeated. Gengar's lineup seems a bit more solid but still think Thunders will have a strong showing.
SV: yedla vs Mihowk - You'd be right to be high on yedla. Mihowk is pretty good and tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he has better support, defs favor yedla though.
SV: Sae vs cpt.kraken - Kinda expect more of Sae than kraken but don't think Sae's played as much gen 9.
SV: Starfox. vs tMoi - tMoi feels more flexible to me, though Starf0x is still solid
SV: Chaitanya vs rs - I might've ranked Chait higher in PR but idk, something about Shiba man. Chait is crazy good at theorymonning, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes up with something gnarly in that sense. This is defs a highlight match but I'm more of a Shiba supporter for this one.
SS: luisin vs Quinn - Luisin stands out to me alot more, especially when I go back for replays. Quinn's good but I don't think I'm ever as impressed.
SM: DAHLI vs Zap - Zap is really good but I find it hard to bold against Dahli
ORAS: Star vs Splash - Star is goated but Splash I think will do a better job with prep for this slot tbh.
BW: Wait2Seconds vs Gondra - W2S had a solid showing last week and Gondra's been solid as well, hope I make this mu it seems like a fun one to watch.

im pretty sure i went like 8/24 last week LOL but it can only go up from here... right?

Driftveil City Drilburs (3) vs. (5) Littleroot Lotads
SV: crashy vs Xiri - both had games last week which you can't really blame them for losing. both are 0-2, though you'd have to imagine crashy's motivation is rock bottom right now. xiri, no matter the performance, probably just treats this like every tour ever so id imagine he's pretty unbothered about the past 2 weeks. i don't even think crashy wanted to play sv too so, there's that
SV: XSTATIC COLD vs Floss - floss apparently decided to win in monotype again. its only been two week though so he can very well lose 5 straight. only time will tell. static on the other hand lucked to a certain position last game, binned, cried.. you know how it goes. some pretty inspiring stuff. i gotta bold floss for the track record but if he loses i would certainly have a disappointed parent vibe
SV: Dieu Amphibien vs Tack - i actually like tack, im excited to see them play. i hear they're a hard worker and hard work usually translates into wins + we'll see what they cook up with here. they do have a pretty tough opponent ahead of them though. dieu, despite being 0-2, is still good. they've played against some pretty good players so its not THAT bad. i didn't watch their game last week cause they brought normal for whatever reason but i have to trust that they don't start off the tournament going 0-3
SV: maroon vs Amukamara - maroon had a game he wasn't winning w1 and a game he should probably always win w2 so not much to say here. as a player though he does click to hell and back which isn't exactly the most inspiring thing in the world. hard to predict him sometimes just based off of that. its not even like.. consistently good clicking too LOL so there's that. he faces my goat liam this week, though while there were some bright points that game, i do think last weeks game was a little sketchy. regardless im still very high on him, and i do trust him to win here
SS: dex vs tko - dex has had some pretty questionable games thus far, last weeks in particular was just ??. tko received a fire team from (presumably) dumbass floss and got punished for it. sound familiar huh? ill give him a pass for last week and give him the bold here just off the premise dex's games haven't been too inspiring
SM: Z Strats vs blunder - z strats is good but still need to see games from them. blunder subbed out last week but still looked good w1. i hear he's trying to learn this tier too which is always nice to hear. ill predict him most weeks
ORAS: SuperEpicAmpharos vs DugZa - dugza bringing dogshit -> get bad mu -> calls mono a mu tier -> reminds us why he never plays these
BW: Monai vs North - despite what people say, poison vs ground really isn't that favorable for ground in bw. yes, north definitely trolled a bit but it really isn't as bad as people make it seem. monai's game last week was interesting to say the least but ill give them props for pulling it back even if they had to get lucky to get to that point. ill bold monai, which is more of a gut pick than anything cause this mu is pretty close to even. i do like both of them though so i hope to see a great game here

SV: Ryuji vs ikiarihS - ryuji was never winning his game last week so, pass. ikiarihs is 0-2 and i really don't want to imagine them being 0-3 so ill just give him this one i guess. both are cool though, hoping to see a good one
SV: Hurtadoo vs Leafium Z - both of these guys binned mons they weren't supposed to bin in w1 and w2 respectively, which is not really something you want to see. hurtadoo does exceed expectations in these tours, so i guess ill bold him idk. id just like to say though leafium's pr ranking is criminal as hell LOL he is not the 28th best player in this pool or whatever ridiculous number it was. wake up people!!
SS: Baloor vs maki - baloor won his game last week by some miracle. corv vs the world.. literally. regardless, maki is probably gonna farm the rest of the pool and i can't exactly picture any other scenario. he's 2-0, so he probably doesn't leave the team discord anytime soon which is good to hear. my prediction is that he goes 7-0 in the regular season, lose his playoff game, and we never hear from him for the next 4 months. now that is the maki we all know
SM: Mateeus vs QWILY - qwily's teams have been pretty questionable but they're still a good player. i don't really understand why the last move of a hpice/thunder/recover life orb reuniclus is knock off as opposed to calm mind when that literally just beat trich quicker + improved match ups overall aside from maybe psychic but is a life orb 3 atk reuniclus really expected to do that much vs psy as opposed to cm? don't really know what went on there. i didn't pay much attention to mat's game last week but i think they were fine. qwily is qwily though, and he is currently cooking. have to bold him here
ORAS: Toadow vs Dj Breloominati♬ - close game. i don't really know what to say here. spitfire quietly always does well these tours, i don't think this tour is gonna be much different
BW: Gelbel3c vs Booty - i find it REALLY hard to imagine booty is gonna start 2 mpl's in a row 0-3 but fuck it, here we are. last weeks game wasn't his fault but come on man LOL he brought bug. the best bw player in possibly the history of the tier cannot be bringing bug. gelbel's game last week was kind of questionable but the book of monotype states that those who bring bug cannot be bolded the following week so, GL, Gelbel.

Goldenrod Gengars (6) vs. (2) Tohjo Falls Thunders
SV: yedla vs Mihowk - yedla's team wasn't really that great vs the mirror and he certainly isn't beating someone as good/experienced as floss in that match up so ill give him a pass. i didn't really like his team but oh well. regardless, its still yedla. i think he's very good still, i expect a 5-2 record from him at least. mihowk is quietly 2-0 but faces the french goat. i like both but gotta give it to yedla
SV: Sae vs cpt.kraken - sae actually likes sv which is always promising to hear. kraken got smurfed by azick last week and you can't really blame them for that. just gotta tip ur hat off to them and move onto the next week. id have to imagine sae is pretty confident right now, so id imagine he pulls through here. welcome back sae
SV: Starfox. vs tMoi - i did not watch starfox's game last week from his perspective but i think they navigated that well. who knows, cause im not watching that shit again. both players won last week which is a cool thing to see. i did not watch tmoi's game at all.. i didn't even click on the replay. in fact i don't even remember the opponent. ill take the tmoi experience here, but starfox is gonna gain confidence / keep improving as the tour goes on so im excited to see what that results in
SV: Chaitanya vs rs - chait is good. sure, he should not have let the rotom get knocked but you can't ignore the history. he plays shiba this week, who has defeated some pretty expensive competition so far. he has looked good but i gotta give it to chait
SS: luisin vs Quinn - i see great things coming from the gengars ss slot, this week is probably not gonna be any different. quinn didn't have the best game last week but to be fair you never really expect sludge wave nidoking on poison so people have to calm down about "mindlessly binning rotom"
SM: DAHLI vs Zap - both have been great thus far but i think the gars know exactly what to bring vs zap more than zap knows what to bring vs the gars so ill give it to peachy. this game is pretty close so im excited to see what happens. definitely the hl game of the week
ORAS: Star vs Splash - splash having himself a 6 win tour idc that's the goat
BW: Wait2Seconds vs Gondra - w2s played absolutely fantastic last week. gondra to my memory has been good, don't know what that scizor was last week LOL but he's been good! close game but im a w2s fan for sure
