Deoxys-A is banned in DOU. As it occurred after the round begun, the ban will not be in place for Round 4. As a result, it is mandatory to play on Smogtours, where the ban will not be present for the remainder of the round.
Re: Round 9 and plan for top cut
Regarding the 7-0 players, they will be granted an extension to complete their round robin from the previous round. Their deadline will be Sunday, April 21st at 11:59 PM GMT-4.
The 7-1 players will have the week of Round 9 off.
The remaining 6-2 players (either 37 or 39 or them, depending on the result of the current 6-1 vs 5-2 pairing) will play in Round 9, with the 6-2 player having the highest resistance being given a bye. This is due to the bracket producing an odd number of players.
The top 32 for top cut will include:
3 players that are currently 7-0
10 or 9 players that are currently 6-1 and end up with a 7-1 record
19 or 20 players that finish with a 6-2 record
Finally, here is the link to the resistance sheet. If you have any questions, concerns or feedback regarding what was said above, you are welcome to PM one of the hosts. If any adjustments or changes are made, then they will be announced in a follow up post.
