SM OU playboy mansion

Hey guys, I found out after my last teambuilding sesh that there is absolutely no reason to use Alolem in OU. Its heat as all hell, but that mon is outright garbage. Anyway, I made another team. This one is actually kinda good. And... Diggersby tho?

playboy bunny (Diggersby) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Quick Attack
- Return
- Spikes

Pretty good lead, reliably gets up one layer of spikes if not more. It can also nab kills on unsuspecting opponents (has killed lead Greninja, Charizard Y, Koko, Pelipper, etc) w/ a combination of Return + Quick Attack. This thing is good at weakening walls too! Return does around 40% to Landorus-T at -1, but I typically boost up on those things anyway. After a +2, your opponent will wish they have a ghost type. Steels rarely switch in because they expect EQ, which of course is bluffed.

my lil bronie (Keldeo) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind

Bronie is a very underrated mon. It revenge kills a lot of things with a scarf, and resists water and ice from the likes of greninja and whatnot. Scald is often a zero drawback play, unless they pack Fini, and Secret Sword is a great dual STAB. Hydro Pump for power. Icy Wind>HP Electric to check the green snake from hell.

velvet revolver (Scizor) @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Roost

Best mega in OU. Walls a lot of physical attackers (and some special ones too!), great ability to spam BP, STAB U-turn, and can often be a win-con. Great answer to all the grass types that are going around in the tier. Overall, a great pivot.

butter knife (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Static
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Defog
- Heat Wave
- Roost

This thing spreads status on your opponent's team as if his mons were bread. Reliable defogger that checks Hawlucha and Ferrothorn, among other things. Pretty bulky bird, and a real OG.

save yourself (Garchomp) @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Swords Dance

I wanted an offensive rocker, so I picked Garchomp. Landshark is fast and strong. It will usually nab me a kill or two. Devastating Drake is gaddam powerful... As is +2 Earthquake. Pretty self-explanatory set, usually does a great job.

asian sports (Tangrowth) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 228 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earthquake

I wanted another pivot with offensive presence that checked Zygarde. Tangrowth does an excellent job at exactly that. Again, this set is pretty self-explanatory. Really good against rain teams too!!

I've had pretty good results with this team both on ladder and small tournaments. The only mon that really gives it trouble is Mega Venusaur. I can also see the stall matchup being a problem, but luckily I haven't been graced with a match against the devil incarnate just yet.
