Basically what the title says:
Make a partner in a PM conversation see that their conversation partner disconnected.
User A and B are pm'ing, suddenly it grows silent. After 30 minutes user A points out it's silent and the famed words fall: 'Oh I disconnected I didnt realize you responded'.
If it's at all possible, it'd be useful if we could get a showjoin or some other form of information (toggable, maybe) in our pms so that you can tell the person you're talking to disconnected in between messages.
Recent example of mine to clarify what I mean:
User A: blahblah
B: blahblah
A: blahblah
- silence for 10 minutes -
A: blahblah?
B: Oh I disconnected sorry, I didnt notice you responded before I dc'd
In my personal opinion the easiest solution is to treat pms like mini rooms of 2 people and make /showjoins act like it does in rooms, but that's just a thought idea.
