SM OU: Hector Hard Mode vs Finchinator - after retiring from bw ou, finchinator moves onto greener pastures in the brand new SM metagame. however, just because you took the ttar sand out the metagame, doesn't mean you can take the metagame out of finch. expect some weird sand balance with a rotom thrown on it that looks oddly like a bw team, but not enough so that finch can deny he just switched to z-move chomp instead of dragon gem.
SM OU: TheThorn vs Destiny Device - just as ciele every single week will being metagross + magnezone, and just as finchinator will bring half-baked bw balance, destiny device will bring celesteela balance that is reminscent of a week 1 sm pdc team. expect to see thethorn take a page from offensemaster crashingboombowlcutbangsbrotherbang and use 2 scarfers, 2 breakers, a stealth rocker user, and a toxapex counter and blow right through this odd motley of aesthetically pleasing pokemon.
SM OU: Sabella vs Mael - mael brings pinsir zone and loses horribly
SM LC: Star vs ZoroDark - in a fight for mad0ka's heart, these two top LCers will brawl it out to see who can be bestowed the anime lord's hand in little cup marriage. on the scooters side we have starmaster, who can not believe that this tier has such impossibly cute pokemon. on the right, we have zorodark, who after however many seasons on the bigs, is finally coming into his own and winning in spl. but if i've learned anything from my 2 weeks of watching romance anime, it is that the one who loves the girl the most always wins out in the end (unless they're the sister, of course).
ORAS OU: Axel10 vs Genesis7 - genesis7 is what you would get if you took blunder, subtracted the cbb circlejerk, took away the keldeo lando-t complex, minused a bit of culture, and added a whole lot of kek. and if there is ONE THING i know is true in this world, it is that kek will always beat cbb.
BW OU: Jirachee vs Ciele - assuming ciele doesn't bring a 2012 ojama team, or a hard stall, this should be a good game. still, i expect sand innovator #1 phil to come out on top with a spicy new blend of ferro-zam-hydreigon-ttar that only finchinator could appreciate. prepare to get your ivory taken, cielephant.
DPP OU: Philip7086 vs Porengan - outside of one of these players using jolteon there is absolutely nothing funny about this matchup. go phil 2.
ADV OU: Ojama vs dekzeh - fisherman bastien / puppetmaster franch takes on the head of the "no talking in the stours lobby" police dekzeh in a match where dekzeh will probably be paying more attention to ghosting going on in the chat log than the actual occurences of their game.

SM OU: Freestylerking vs z0mOG - kek master z0mOG has been picked up by the classiest in an odd turn of events. one would think the omfush(it)ake core would refuse to pick up any more jokers after they bought reymedy, but they proved everybody wrong with this buy. z0mOG can either win big with some ferro fini balance, or get crushed by the randomness of the legendary freestylerking. rooting for z0mOG because the kek brotherhood transcends team borders.
SM OU: Gingy vs JohnYiu - iamgingy has always been a favorite builder of mine. not only creative and unwiedly, but a surprisingly good player on the come up, iamgingy will take his neato spaghetti balances to new bounds this week when he crushes the random HO that will be brought by johnyiu.

BW OU: Jayde vs SoulWind - ok, let me tell you all how this is going to go down. team preview opens, and in that flurry of excitement that comes from witnissing the "two best bwers" duke it out comes sadness when you realize that each player has brought tyranitar sand balance. both jayde and sw say: "good luck, have fun bro" but in reality are thinking about how shit the other player is. by turn 5 something has died, and the player with the ko'd mon says "lol" in the chat, not referencing whether it be due to the luck, which may or may not have mattered, or just general humor at how bad his opponent is. halfway through the game both players are sweating at their brows with 3 spikes up on each side of the field, and an alakazam in the back. what comes next can be either interpreted as a cripple fight or a "masterful game of switching." the outcome of this game doesn't matter because no matter who wins, no matter due to what luck, both players will walk away thinking they are the greatest player of all time.
