Beautiful voice, beautiful language.
Beautiful voice, beautiful language.
Fun Fact: Cancerous tried to send in Trololo. “Technically he was singing in russian.”
Glad he submitted this instead, because this is a great song. The instruments are quite enjoyable, the lyrics have a good rhythm, and both of these grab and hold my attention.
Oh, wow. This is… I didn’t realize Hanatan has such a broad range. Mind happily blown.
The combination of the jaunty accordion, the choir and orchestra, the funky electronic backing, and Hanatan’s vibrant voice makes for something grandiose. This song is so good that I’ve been lamenting how I can’t get Hanatan on Pandora.
New drinking game: take a shot whenever I use the words funky, bouncy, or dig/digging. And along those lines, take three shots, because I really, really, really dig this funky, bouncy groove.

It’s not every day you get to hear a song mashed up with itself. This is interesting, but the shifts in tempo make it feel a little clunky, in particular when it shifts from the fast-paced trap music to that super slow synthwave. Also, nerf MLG, pl0x. That shit gave me a headache.
It kinda feels like I’ve been robbed of the chance to say “You submitted in the wrong walrus”. I think the backing elevates the rap here.
I like the songs involved, but aside from that, this is pretty flawed imo. At points, the artist tried to layer the instrumentals from both songs into the backing, which... doesn’t really work. I’d like a cleaner backing more, something less chaotic. What I’m hearing right now sounds crowded and kind of disjointed.
Digging the instruments, kinda ehhhhh about Miley. I think I’d like this more unmashed, without Miley.
This is a good slammix, but the backing is meager at points. I get the feeling that there’s still some sort of tweak or addition that could be done to improve this.
Strange and strangely appealing. Another song where the backing boosts the rap.
These guys are good. I kinda want a little more Crocodile Rock in there.
High energy balls to the wall genki desu ne~
I like three of the four voices in this song. Rachel Platten, I like her when she’s not pitched up so high. The backing is nicely done, but it’s done at the cost of chipmunking Rachel Platten.
I like Rihanna’s voice. Those long chords in the backing are somewhat discordant against the vocals, but otherwise the backing does a good job of elevating an already elevated song.
The editing could be a little cleaner at points where the overlapped lyrics end up muddling each other, but otherwise these songs mesh pretty well.
Being pretty familiar with both these songs, the censorship blanks kinda throw me. The overlap of lyrics works better here than in the previous song.
On the surface, it looked like I was about to be trolled. But I like this. This is surprisingly good.
As much as I like them, there tends to be a major flaw with slammixes: if the creator doesn’t diligently stick to the tempo of Space Jam, odds are it’s gonna suck. Slam On Me defies those odds, with its frenetic A-ha pace driving a good slammix that sets a high bar for anyone who wants to think outside the tempo box.
Way to go, hitting my geek buttons. This one, the backing doesn’t elevate so much as it intermeshes nicely.
