Question: would Alola forms make good Ultra Space Variants?
NO.Question: would Alola forms make good Ultra Space Variants?
Really? And the original idea for All Mighty Barrier was just so good
He was just providing feedback, no need to be insulting.Really? And the original idea for All Mighty Barrier was just so good
Um...are you making the rules?I can understand why not every submission has Beast Boost but every Ultra Beast has prime numbers as their stats. That isn't hard to mimic.
FIX YOUR SUBMISSIONS RIGHT NOW.
Nope, it's just a suggestion. I don't mean to be offensive, but it doesn't make sense to call the Pet Mod "Ultra Space variants" if two of the three similarities that Ultra Beasts share are completely disregarded. And Ultra Beasts aren't the only Pokémon with 570 BST, this could very well be "Tapu variants" and it would fit because of how vague rules are. Might as well call it "Movin' on Up Version 2 with Type Changes".Um...are you making the rules?

Better. Well done.Name: Lurantis
New Stats: 105 / 28 / 94 / 139 / 97 / 107
New Typing: Steel / Psychic
Added Moves: Generic Steel and Psychic moves and coverage moves on it, Ice Beam, Mystical Fire, Flamethrower, Air Slash, Lock On, Aura Sphere, Recover, Spikes, Stealth Rocks
Abilities: All Mighty Barrier (The user halves damage from incoming attacks. However, the user's moves are 25% less powerful. Status moves are unaffected.) / Tinted Lens (HA)
Justification: This Lurantis has a more denser body in order to survive the ocean-like pressure in Ultra Space. By this matter, they also gave up their ability to walk and developed telekinesis here, due to the stranger effects here and such. This explains the Psychic type. They had also gained various elemental moves and their body slowly became as hard as steel, explaining the Steel type. They still didn't feel protected enough, so they gained obsidian domes over the eyes and sacrifice their power to block out damage. Certain kinds of these Lurantis don't have this protective barrier and go offensive on anything. This also gives up Physical strength as it dosen't fare well in this world.
Place in competitive: With it's typing and signature ability to reduce damage, it can be seen as a pretty good wall. The naturally low attack makes it less prone to Foul Play, and it's many resistances can make setting up hazards a breeze at the cost of it's power. However, with it's hidden ability, Tinted Lens, it can become a special powerhouse, with it's wide coverage and boosting moves like Nasty Plot. This makes it almost unpredictable if it's going to be defensive or offensive as well.
Well, every other Pet Mod that tries to copy Gamefreak patterns does it 100%. Megas for All doesn't allow two types to change because none of the real Megas do that. Alola Forms doesn't allow BST changes because Alola forms have the exact same BST as normal ones. Z-moves Everywhere doesn't allow a Pokémon to use any move to start a signature Z-move because every signature Z-move can only be activated with one move. Even The New First Gen, something that copies an entire generation, follows a bunch of similarities. Etc....ok, I know you don't mean to be rude....but...
That sounds incredibly rude.
CAN'T STUMP THE TRUMP!Name: Gumshoos
New Stats: 89/127/97/53/73/113 (552 BST, so close to 570 ;-;)
New Typing: Normal/Fighting
Added Moves: Close Combat, Drain Punch, Hammer Arm, Mach Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Hammer, Meteor Mash, Dizzy Punch, Extreme Speed, Shadow Punch
Abilities: Vantage (If this Pokemon's HP is <50%, STAB move (Normal and Fighting) have +1 priority unless the opposing Pokemon uses a move that this Pokemon resists), HA Iron Fist
Justification: This Gumshoos has about the same size and strength as a Buzzwole. Upon examination, it appears that it has similar genetics to Buzzwole, which is why it is so buffed up. It fights like a professional boxer; it waits until the right time to strike. It brings out all it's might when it's weak; it is ashamed when it loses a fight. It is much faster than a regular Gumshoos; it's swift moves make it a tough challenger. However, since it loves to go all out, it almost never plays defense, as it believes it's strength is the only thing it needs. It keeps it's strong hands out in front of it, unlike regular Gumshoos who tend to put them behind their back. It prefers to stand on it's feet instead of running on all fours.
Place in competitive: Just some regular old sweeper. Slap a Choice item and it will do work. Vantage is to softcounter revenge killers and best fits for a Choice Band set, Iron Fist is more for a Choice Scarf set. All the added moves are for coverage for other Pokemon, so there could be quite a few different movesets for this Pokemon.

Ultra Beasts have only three similarities. They all have prime numbers as stats, they all have Beast Boost and have 570 BST. These "Ultra Space" variants only have 570 BST. I want to know where the rest of the similarities went. As I said, why isn't the Pet Mod called "Tapu Variants"? Tapus all have Fairy type, have Terrain setting abilities, and have 570 BST. They also share only 1 out of 3 similarities with the "Ultra Space" submissions.
Meanwhile Movin' on Up has the same exact rules as this, except it's 590 BST instead of 570 BST. They just don't allow custom abilities and more than 4 moves added (they allow type changes, I got that one wrong). Why not call the Pet Mod "Movin' on Up Version 2 with Custom Abilities?"
Ok. And I'm sorry for being rude.Fixed.
The king of Trick Room.Haven't seen too much Wishiwashi
New Stats: 73/97/137/113/139/11 (Right on target with BST 570 :D)
New Typing: Water (technically Water/Water)
Added Moves: Water Spout, Recover, Psyshock, Psychic, Speed Swap, Skill Swap, Heart Swap, Reflect, Light Screen, Trick, Focus Blast, Energy Ball
Abilities: Molecular Cluster (This Pokemon is Water/Water type, meaning moves that would do x1/2 do x1/4 and moves that would do x2 do x4. To balance, it is x2 weak to Psychic and any Psychic move used on it will nullify Cell Fusion)
Justification: Unlike regular Wishiwashi that have two forms, this one only has one. With the conditions in Ultra Space, the Wishiwashi are fused tightly into one giant Pokemon. They act like cells and are controlled by the brain of the whole Pokemon. The brain can use the "cells" to attack by defusing them. They're so compressed that it makes it very bulky, however electricity and vegetation seem to weaken it fast. The "cells" can also be controlled by Pokemon with Psychic type moves; moves like this disable the brain's function to fuse tightly, which loosens the Pokemon and makes it more weak to attacks. It's slow speed is from the all the work the brain has to do; if it was faster, the Pokemon wouldn't work properly.
Place in competitive: Super tanky Pokemon but also super slow. It big weaknesses but makes up for it with the strong defense. Can run a stall set or a tanky revenge killer set.
Does it get double STAB, or is the Water/Water only defensive?Haven't seen too much Wishiwashi

So what about Vikavolt, Kommo-O and Mimikyu?I realised I should of added Alolan Raticate to the list because it's a totem!
That comes later. Let's get some submissions first for these guys.So what about Vikavolt, Kommo-O and Mimikyu?
Only defensive; double STAB would do too much for a tanky Pokemon.Does it get double STAB, or is the Water/Water only defensive?
So it's water bubble but for weaknessesOnly defensive; double STAB would do too much for a tanky Pokemon.
