Oricorio-Pom-Pom @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Dancer
Tera Type: Ground / Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Revelation Dance / Taunt

This little bird is ready to have a dance-off in NU! Oricorio-E is a great setup sweeper on Grassy Terrain teams thanks to Grassy Seed increasing its Defense and Quiver Dance boosting its offensive stats. Air Slash threatens heavy-hitters such Paldean Tauros and Grass-types like Tsareena and Vileplume. 232 Speed EVs let Oricorio-E outspeed Choice Scarf Flamigo at +1. Revelation Dance hits Flying-types such as Thundurus and Flamigo, and it can use Tera Ground to threaten Poison-types like Galarian Slowbro and Dragalge and nullify Electric-type attacks. Taunt lets it deny any incoming status moves or healing, shutting down bulkier Pokemon such as Umbreon, Sylveon, and Florges. Thwackey is a mandatory partner, activating Oricorio-E's Grassy Seed with Grassy Terrain on switch in, letting it take incoming physical attacks and making overall setup much easier. Entry hazard setters such as Diancie and Klefki pair well with Oricorio-E, as they can chip walls and help put foes in range to OHKO. Registeel is another good partner for Oricorio-E, as it’s able to switch into Ice-type attacks and provide additional hazards.

GP & NU Leader
slight set change I want before this is written up is grassy seed > boots for the item; mon has been a staple of grassy terrain teams and that seems most appropriate to feature atm

Nice work; make sure add details about Revelation Dance to the set too.

This little bird is ready to have a dance off in NU! Oricorio-E is a great setup sweeper on Grassy Terrain teams thanks to Grassy Seed letting it gain more physical bulk and Quiver Dance boosting its offensive stats. Air Slash is a perfect STAB move letting it have a chance to flinch its target and threatening offensive threats such as Flamigo and Tauros-PA Paldea? or Grass-types like Tsareena and Vileplume. Oricorio-E’s defensive spread and access to Roost allows it to accumulate multiple Quiver Dance boosts comfortably, making it easier to sweep foes I'd focus on the 24 Def calculations; what breakpoints do they hit that something like 252 HP / 4 Spd / 252 Spe does not?. Add more info about Revelation Dance and its importance against its mons here. Taunt lets it deny any incoming status moves or healing, shutting down bulkier Pokemon such as Umbreon, Sylveon, and Florges. Thwackey is a mandatory partner, activates Grassy Terrain on switch-in allowing Oricorio-E gain a defensive boost with Grassy Seed, letting it take incoming physical attacks and making overall setup much easier. Entry hazard setters such as Diancie, Klefki, and Registeel pair well with Oricorio-E, as they can chip down walls and help put foes in range to OHKO. If you do have enough space to write, they provide additional utility aside from setting hazards (i.e., resistances switching into attacks, setting up additional hazards, Speed control?)

Implemented, the defense calc I took out since apparently it’s leftover evs (got this info from Rabia) and instead I mentioned it’s 232 speed, and took out registeel mention in original hazard mention and placed it as a ice type resistance.

Hey, I was translating your Spotlight and I've found this little typo over there. Pretty minor thing, but it's always nice to correct it.
