[SET COMMENTS]

This set focuses on beating walls by itself without resorting to stalling them out. It still maintains Vullaby's impressive bulk, while allowing it to actually deal some damage. Taunt can shut down walls and opponents which try to turn Vullaby into set-up fodder. Roost serves as a reliable form of recovery and increases Vullaby's lifespan on the battlefield. Brave Bird is Vullaby's main STAB attack, and is capable of dealing great damage. The last slot is up to the user; Punishment is a nice secondary STAB that uses your opponent's boosts against them, while U-turn is great for scouting, or for escaping after Taunting a wall.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EVs are pretty straightforward; maximize Attack in order to hit as hard as possible, and maximize Speed to have a better chance of Taunting your opponent first. The leftover EVs go into HP; however, it should be noted that without them you could switch into Stealth Rock five times instead of four. An Adamant nature is used to boost Attack, as the loss in Special Attack does not effect Vullaby. Overcoat is a viable option over Big Pecks, but weather recoil can be simply Roosted off. Big pecks, however, stops Vullaby from suffering Defense drops, and is therefore usually the better option. Magnemite puts a cold stop to this set as it resists all of Vullaby's attacks, and can strike back with a super effective STAB Thunderbolt.

Steel-types are the biggest problem for this set since they resist everything that Vullaby can throw at them. Magnemite is a good example, as it can hit Vullaby with a super effective STAB Thunderbolt. Ironically, Magnemite also makes a fantastic partner, as it can trap and kill many Steel-types that wall Vullaby, including opposing Magnemite. Magnemite and Vullaby also synergize well, as Magnemite resists the numerous Ice-, Rock-, and Electric-type moves that Vullaby is weak to. Diglett is also a good partner, as it can trap all Steel-type Pokemon not named Bronzor and kill most of them. Vullaby is very fast and bulky, so the best option is to either hit it hard and fast, or use status such as poison or burn to cripple it. On the subject of teammates, this set could use Rapid Spin and Toxic Spikes support; the former can greatly increase Vullaby's longevity, whilst the latter can help Vullaby take down walls with more ease, so Tentacool and Staryu are good partners, respectively. Since Dark- and Flying- type coverage is pretty much unresisted, anything that can take a Brave Bird which and hit back hard makes an efficient check, such as Chinchou ot Staryu.
