Alexwolf gives me the licence to post this analysis though he was reserved this pokemon.

Pokedex Number
- # 709

[Pros]

Great coverage and movepool to attack and/or annoy the opponent.

Ghost type allows to be immune to fight spam and normal moves in general(rapid spid over all).

Good physical attack and the possibility to boost it with Power-Up Punch.

[Cons]

Grass type makes it weak in many of the common types.

Very slow(56 bp).

Bulky not too high makes it vulnerable in Def or Sdef.

[Set Recommendations]

Trevenant (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 28 Atk / 248 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Power-Up Punch / Horn Leech
- Will-O-Wisp / Toxic
- Leech Seed
- Phantom Force

This set proposes to annoyng the opponent thanks to Will-O-Wisp, Leech Seed and a good physical bulky. Phantom force is first STAB move and, if opponent is seeded or burend, it allow to reduce drastically his life becouse it is a two round moves. Power-Up Punch is coverage made for normal type that is immune to ghost and it always allow to boost his atk. Will-O-Wisp had an increase of accuracy in 6 Gen and for this physical bulky set is a better choice than Toxic to stop physical sweepers.
Evs spread is given taking into accont Leftovers point and def break point.

Trevenant (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 36 Atk / 240 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Power-Up Punch / Horn Leech
- Toxic / Will-O-Wisp
- Leech Seed
- Phantom Force

Special defender of the previous set with the same set and characteristics but marked on Sdef. In this case Toxic is more useful than WoW to exhaust the opponents becouse they're probably special sweeper and burn drop is useless.
Evs spread is given taking into accont Leftovers point and Sdef break point.

Trevenant (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Def
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Rock Slide / Wood Hammer / Earthquake
- Shadow Claw
- Power-Up Punch

The 232 evs in hp are to recive min damage to LO with a good bulky anyway; acces to Troom gives to this pokemon an important role in Troom teams or Troom Spike Offence teams. His coverage allow it to strike strong a lot of his possible killer and Power-Up Punch helps in this direction. Shadow Claw prefer on Phantom Force becouse of Troom is limitated in 5 turn so we can't waste time; Rock Slide complete the coverage. If Wood Hammer + LO is too expensive in number of HP Horn Leech is a valid alternative.
0 ivs in Spd is imperative.

Trevenant (F) @ Assault Vest
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Horn Leech
- Earthquake
- Shadow Claw
- Power-Up Punch

It has good chance of being used in Troom cause of his low spd. Bulky and Assault Vest can be very dangerouses with Power-Up Punch and STAB Horn Leech(favorit to Wood Hammer) to stay as long as possible on field with boost of the first move and recover of the second one. Shadow Claw is the other STAB and Earthquake is to coverage. Not full HP for S.R damage..we can also change the evs spread with a major Def o Sdef one.

[Other Options]

About the first and secons sets i can't not quote Toxic in place of Will-O-Wisp and the use of Rest that with the help of his ability(natural cure) give to this pokemon a role as status-absorber. Rest-talk with Naturale Cure is an option for Def/Sdef set; due to his slow Rest + LO set isn't wise becouse it never bring a vantage situation. Destiny Bond is another fantastic move learned to this pokemon that can find space in Troom set or defenses ones.

[Checks and Counters]

The Physical attacking sets are walled by many Pokemon for exemple Skarmory, Forretress, Bronzong or steel in general but his major flaw is the slowness. A lot of pokemon are faster than it and can destoy it with their supereffective moves. Also the Taunter and DefensiveXatu gives problems to Trevenant. Outside Troom teams and Stall/Annoyer teams this pike will not find much space.

Time to revoke that license. I fail to see how anything good can come of this. There are so many things wrong with this that I can barely even begin- the lack of proper spelling, the poor punctuation, the overly zealous abbreviations, the lack of detail, and the likely untested and ineffective sets. I'm going to be giving this back to alexwolf, with the caveat that he vet whoever ends up with this analysis a little better next time.
