Deadline is tomorrow for the VGC Sudden Death tourney. Not sure if you can play tomorrow at all? I won't be home the rest of the day cause of school but I get home at 3:30 EST (GMT -6) tomorrow.

Aaaaah I see I thought it was more complicated then that. So basically with Ruby/Sapphire and Leaf Green/Fire Red it's all about making a save state and checking where your at and just advancing accordingly.

Holy crap your aiming for that? How long have you had to leave your computer on? How fast can you make VBA go? MY stupid lap top can only reach a max of like 350% O_o

Ah so then it's basically only possible to RNG on Ruby/Sapphire using save states since it is random. Ya those are the Pokemon I planned to do it for :P. I'll experiment with it later when I get better at Emerald RNG. Done 3 Pokemon so far so I'm getting a bit better. RSEDecoder is a life saver :P. Thanks again for all your help :) it's very much appreciated.

Also one last thing, how difficult would you say RNGing on LGFR is? I've read up on it a little but just never got around to really researching on it.

Hey does the Ruby/Sapphire RNG work that same as Emerald or are there major/slight differences?

Finally kind of got it! Lot's of breeding and trial and error but I got what I was aiming for. Do you usually have to go for Altnerative spreads when breeding because that's all I kept landing on. But anyways just wanted to say thanks :)

I'm not planning on doing any NEAR PERFECT captures until I get the hang of this. Ya I saw some spreads like a near flawless spread for breeding something like 31/a/31/a/b/31

And that's at like 20 minutes factor in the average speed of the VBA I can get it to 336%-358% so that's about a five minute wait. Basically I'm just chaining IVs letting them inherit flawless IVs with a certain spread and then I'm lookin' for spreads that would inhereit the flawless IVs from the parents and also create flawless IVs with the new spread. Sorry if I'm not explaining myself clearly I just want to make sure I'm doing it right. Ya I think I saw Bozo's shiny finding thing. I won't be trying that right now since I want to get the gist of this first. But all in all I think I pretty much have it done. I've been working on a Chansey all day but they take forever to create an egg O_o....Thanks for all your help though it's been really helpful and sorry to be such an irritation :/

Hey so I was playing around with Emerald abuse and I managed to hit a frame (test frame nothing extraordinary) I was aiming for. Does this mean I pretty much have the gist of it? I started up VBA waited a little while, created a SAV state. Paused VBA then loaded the save state caught a Pokemon and determined what frame that save state was on, afterwards I aimed for a higher frame not to far off but high enough to where I needed to press CTRL+N. Once I advanced the frame I managed to hit a frame I was aiming for...so is this the gist of it? Sorry to be a bother I'm just really trying to get this down O_o...
