Chargestone Cavern (3): Getting Spiky

Nope, we fell into a deeper part of the cavern!

Well, one way to have fun is to have lots of battles!

Well, fighting Rampardos and Skarmory might not be that fun ...

Nothing would stop us riding the wind! Loquat set up Tailwind like she always does!

With the wind by our side, Mamey could glide more easily on the Grassy Terrain!

Skarmory scattered some spikes around our side! We got to be more careful switching around!

Even luck was on our side! Mamey avoided a devastating Head Smash from Rampardos!

One more Grassy Glide and Rampardos was gone! Though I feel like Skarmory is probably the bigger problem.

Our moves did so little to Skarmory! This battle was not looking great for us!

Woah! Skarmory blew a Whirlwind on Mamey and dragged Soursop out! That's not the wind I wanted!

Soursop was not quite ready for battle yet, and she needed to face against an Electivire!

Loquat landed a Moonblast on Electivire and lowered it Special Attack!

Well, Soursop would not be able to do much damage with Mud Shot, but lowering Electivire's Speed was nice!

Well, Electivire got its Speed back with Trailblaze.

Soursop had fun for a round, but she was blown away for Longan to come in! Longan also got hurt by the spikes!

Longan found a Sitrus Berry on Skarmory. That's gonna be so annoying.

Loquat went for Moonblast again on Electivire and did some decent damage!

And Electivire got finished by Longan's Dragon Pulse! If only Skarmory could also go down that easily!

Skarmory really liked Soursop and dragged her out back again to replace Loquat!

And we lost our Tailwind as well! The wind is really not on our side!

Oh no, not Scyther please.

Scyther deleted Soursop the moment it got sent in! Sorry Soursop!

To make things even worse, Skarmory also had Roost to heal itself up!

Longan blasted Dragon Pulse on Scyther, but that wasn't quite enough.

And our Grassy Terrain was gone as well! Even the field was not working for us anymore!

We finally got a choice in choosing who to send in! We sent in Pomelo, who got hurt by spikes as well!

Scyther used Aerial Ace again, this time taking out a big chunk of Longan's health!

Pomelo yet again proved himself to be a brave bird and knocked out Scyther! Now Skarmory's the only Pokemon left!

Though being brave also means you take damage from recoil!

Longan used Dragon Pulse on Skarmory, but that didn't do much against Skarmory's defenses!

Well, Pomelo did his job alright, but Skarmory would rather see Salak instead!

Salak used Leaf Storm, which is very not very effective on Skarmory!

But more importantly, Salak got a sharp Special Attack boost from that hit!

Skarmory finally used a damaging move, but that was a Dual Wingbeat to finish Longan off!

Time for Mamey to go back in and cover the field with grass!

Salak blew another Leaf Storm! It was stronger this time, but it was still far away from doing enough!

We got another Special Attack boost, and we should be doing even more with our damage!

Oh well, nothing much we could do with Skarmory's Sitrus Berry! This thing just refuses to go down!

Our Knock Out effort might be a little bit too late ...

That Whirlwind was so strong it almost blew away Mamey's drum!

Time for Loquat to come back in again!

Loquat gave Salak a Helping Hand boost to hopefully end this battle sooner.

That was MY plan, but Salak had other plans.

And of course, Skarmory took that opportunity to roost again.

It didn't work so well last time, but we were going for a second time anyways.

With Helping Hand and so many boosts backing up, Salak did quite a lot to Skarmory!

Salak's Special Attack was so high it couldn't go any higher after this!

Goodbye Salak, and her stacked boosts.

Mamey was dragged out again. Didn't we start the battle with these two out?

Loquat just blasted a Moonblast and saved us all. Thank you.

That critical hit was very much necessary.

Well, that sure was NOT fun.

Soursop evolved into Chesnaught from that! I guess she learned a lot about using Spikes in battles!

Canyon Biome (1): Fresh Air

We picked up a TM for Supercell Slam! Sounds like a great move for Electric-type Pokemon!

There were suddenly so many Duraludon walking around! Now you know when this part was played!

This was the perfect time to train Soursop up!

Finally! We got out of the cavern and got to breathe some fresh air!

We had some move adjustments before moving on! First, Cantaloupe got Wide Guard!

Longan now got to use its cute-looking tail to use Breaking Swipe!

Mamey got to play his favorite drum and slam with High Horsepower!

Soursop will mainly be used for support, and she also can use Wide Guard!

And I spent my BPs printing items. I think I might have a problem...

Time to head back to the Canyon Biome!

Good. Direct. I like it.

Salak and Longan battling Gothitelle and Polteagiest!

Against threats like these, Salak could just put on a Light Screen swiftly!

Thanks to Light Screen, Polteageist's Shadow Ball didn't do that much to Salak!

And Gothitelle foresaw the future! I hope you saw me being the winner of this battle!

Meanwhile, Longan lives in the present by landing a critical hit with Psyshock!

No time to waste for us! Salak blew a Leaf Storm on Polteageist to finish it off!

What we wanted more was the sharp Special Attack boosts!

Gothitelle foresaw the future again! I guess that's what psychics do.

Longan tried his new toy, Breaking Swipe, which didn't actually help that much against Gothitelle!

Golurk was up next! That's a scary looking Golem!

Well, Golurk was blown away by Salak's Leaf Storm in one hit! Not strong after all!

And Salak got even stronger!

Longan blasted a Dragon Pulse on Gothtitelle! We did some good damage! What could go wrong from here?

Uh-oh.

Well, Longan got revenged by Gothitelle's Mirror Coat! That truly backfired!

But Salak got our back and used another Leaf Storm to wrap up this battle!

We gathered a total of 50 Grass Tera Shards! That has got to mean something good, right?

Oh, Amarys! Please tell me Amarys' secrets!

We used the same combo, this time fighting Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee! We didn't have great time with these Pokemon last time, but let's try again!

Not sure how Hitmonlee clapped in front of Longan's (multiple) faces, but it used Fake Out on him!

Salak's Reflect came a little late, but it will still surely be helpful against these two Pokemon!

Hitmonchan punched Longan with icy fists and almost finished him off!

Unfortunately for us, Longan was frozen solid from that hit and couldn't move anyways!

If Longan gets frozen, does he shrink to the same size as Lychee?

And Hitmonlee just followed up with a strong Mach Punch! Goodbye, Longan!

Salak used Leaf Storm on Hitmonlee, and it was honestly not that good of a hit.

But we know Salak will keep getting stronger and stronger!

Hitmonchan is a master at throwing icy fists! At least Salak took the hit just fine!

We sent in Passionfruit next! Let's see what he can do!

Oh, come on. Now is not the time to miss an attack!

Hitmonlee kicked Passionfruit in the face! That's not very nice!

Hitmonchan punched Passionfruit and knocked him out! That's also not very nice!

Maybe Passionfruit really can't do much ...

Well, let's see what Soursop can do then!

Salak connected with Leaf Storm this time and got to finish Hitmonlee off!

And Salak was still doing fine taking Ice Punches! Though she might not be able to take any more hits!

Soursop used Super Fang and cut Hitmonchan's HP into half!

And Salak could properly deal with Hitmonchan with another Leaf Storm! This battle took longer than it should've!

Amarys seems like a calm person to me, but let's see what she is actually up to! Not so soon though!

Sorry for the lack of updates! To make up for that, here's an extra-large update! (That doesn't mean we got to do much in this update.)

Canyon Biome (2): Outrageous

We're back to the Canyon Biome for even more mountains and hills!

At least we found some greenery amidst the rocky terrains!

More importantly, we found a wood Gecko!

Let's welcome Tamarillo the Treecko, our newest Pokemon and potentially our final addition in a while!

Oh, I have really bad memories about you.

Well, we are now equipped with dealing with Skarmory!

I feel so refreshed surrounded by all these flowers!

I hope you have caught some Grass-type Pokemon!

Longan frisked our opponents right at the start of the battle! We can formulate better strategies if we know what items our opponents have!

Well, I like Whimsicott, but I don't like when your Whimsicott knocked out my Pokemon in one hit!

Cinccino kicked Salak for three times and almost knocked her out! Ouch!

Salak put up a Reflect! It was a little too late, but it will probably still help!

It's time to get serious! We sent in Starfruit next!

Whimsicott struck before Salak moved and knocked her out with Moonblast!

Cinccino performed its Triple Axel, but Starfruit was still hanging!

Sorry Whimsicott, I think it's time for you time to take a fiery cudgel!

Ivy Cudgel couldn't finish Whimsicott off because of its Occa Berry!

Time to turn the floor into Grassy Terrain with Mamey's Grassy Surge!

Mamey's Grassy Glide always goes first even against fast foes like Whimsicott and Cinccino!

Whimsicott then blasted moonlight onto Mamey! That was so strong!

Cinccino then followed up with Triple Axel and knocked Mamey out! That was some bullying right there!

Starfruit went for Cinccino and defeated it with Ivy Cudgel! At least one of the threats was gone!

And we got to heal ourselves up with the Grassy Terrain!

We sent in Pomelo, while the opponent sent in Haxorus! That was scary!

Pomelo took Moonblast just fine! We could still do this!

The Special Attack drop was unfortunate, but it didn't really hurt us that much!

Sorry Whimsicott, it's time for you to go.

Haxorus went for Outrage and almost knocked Starfruit out! Truly outrageous!

Pomelo put on a Tailwind behind the team, and it was time for us to ride the wind!

The final Pokemon on the opposing team was Eelektross!

Starfruit did not have much health left, and so she went for Horn Leech on Eelektross to heal herself off!

And Pomelo followed up with a Leaf Blade to remove Eelektross from the field! Only Haxorus left!

Haxorus struck with a critical Outrage and knocked Starfruit out! That was rough for us!

And our Reflect wore off too! In such a bad timing!

Well, Tamarillo just joined the team and was not ready to battle at all ...

Pomelo locked Haxorus down with a Spirit Shackle!

Tamarillo was still having a nap in the Poke Ball!

Sorry Tamarillo! Travelling with me really isn't that dangerous! Please trust me!

Well, at least Haxorus wore itself out from using Outrage!

Never mind.

Pomelo's best attack was Spirit Shackle, and it was still not enough to finish Haxorus!

And Pomelo could not stand against that fierce Outrage ...

We lost to the outrageous Haxorus!

Canyon Biome (3): Second Chance

We came back with a vengeance, this time with stronger Pokemon on the team!

We made some adjustments to the team and led with Loquat and Salak this time!

If the opponents are so fast, we should use Tailwind to boost up our Speed!

Salak set up Reflect again, this time before Cinccino could start to wreak havoc!

The opposing Whimsicott went for Moonblast on Salak and did quite a lot!

Well, Salak was really motivated after that hit and got her Special Attack boosted!

Oh well, Salak still went down from Triple Axel, but her Reflect will surely be helpful for the team!

We sent in Starfruit back out again!

Starfruit's Ivy Cudgel couldn't quite knock out the opposing Whimsicott again thanks to Occa Berry, but that's okay!

Loquat finished things up with a Moonblast! This is a Whimsicott-on-Whimsicott offense!

Sorry Whimsicott, but Loquat is just cuter!

Cinccino blasted some rocks onto Starfruit and landed a critical hit with one of those! That's just not right!

Thankfully, Starfruit was still hanging tough!

Here we go again! Haxorus is here!

Starfruit slammed Cinccino with Ivy Cudgel this time and couldn't quite knock it out!

With Loquat here, Haxorus shouldn't be that scary! Moonblast did a significant amount to Haxorus!

Well, maybe things weren't going that well with Cinccino knocking Starfruit out with more rock blasting!

And Loquat went down in one Poison Jab! This Haxorus was so annoying!

We are still in this! I trust Quince and Hawthorn to handle this situation!

Hawthorn quickly hit Haxorus with a Play Rough and finished it up!

Good.

And Cinccino went down with Quince's Dazzling Gleam! The biggest threats are all gone now!

We lost the Tailwind, but we should be fine now!

Only Eelektross left for the opposing team, and we had a 2-on-1 advantage!

Hawthorn first slammed Eelektross with a Double-Edge and took out a chunk of its health!

Quince then followed up with a Hyper Voice! Eelektross was then gone!

That was a rough battle for sure.

We rushed to the Rest Area after that tiring battle!

Canyon Biome (4): Twin Power

Are you okay? Do you need a quick Pokemon battle to cheer yourself up?

Milcery and Sinistea! Is this a tea party?

Well, Salak put some leaves in the teacup! More specifically, Salak blew Sinistea with a Leaf Storm!

And Loquat followed things up with a Moonblast! I guess there would be no afternoon tea for us!

Milcery shone Dazzling Gleam on our team, but Salak and Loquat were both fine taking that hit!

Okay, maybe that dazzling gleam was too bright, which made Salak unable to aim afterwards.

Loquat's Moonblast was not quite enough to knock Micery out, but we lowered its Special Attack!

Milcery with another Dazzling Gleam, but our Pokemon were still very much fine!

Salak gave things a good stir with Leaf Storm! I guess the tea party was officially over?

Tamarillo was playing around the pond and evolved into Grovyle!

Behold of what?

We tried out Tangelo and Pomelo as a synchronized pair! Let's see how they fare against Bastiodon and Magneton!

Magneton quickly put up a Light Screen, but we won't let that stop us!

Pomelo first led with a Spirit Shackle to trap our target!

Tangelo then finished things up with his Triple Arrows! Magneton was gone!

Bastiodon used Metal Burst, but that didn't do anything since we didn't touch it!

Duraludon was sent in next!

Being a metallic dragon, Duraludon moved faster than we expected and blasted Pomelo with a Flash Cannon!

We tried our double owl strategy with Duraludon, but it seemed to be bulkier than Magneton!

Never mind, Duraludon couldn't stand up to Tangelo's Triple Arrows!

Bastiodon still couldn't do much with Metal Burst!

Pomelo first sliced through Bastiodon with his Leaf Blade! He's as good at bladework as he is at archery!

(Can we just appreciate how good the animation of Triple Arrows looks?)

Anyways, Bastiodon's solid defenses were not enough to withstand the power of our Decidueye duo!

And Tamarillo evolved into Sceptile! He grew up so fast!

Tamarillo can shed his tail in battle to support the team!

Feeling Lucky

Is that Tyrogue wearing blue shorts?

We found a Shiny Tyrogue and caught it! That must mean great luck for our remaining journey!

Squash the Shiny Tyrogue is a gutsy one!

Still, Squash is not my type of Pokemon to use, and he will stay in the box for a while.

Canyon Biome (4): Twin Power (cont.)

Tangelo! Pomelo! We're going all out with our power too!

Let's see who have the better pair of Pokemon!

Plusle bit Tangelo with Super Fang and took out half of his health!

Minun did the same thing too and left Tangelo just a quarter of his health!

Pomelo simply cut through Plusle with his Leaf Blade! Goodbye, Plusle!

Tangelo went and taught Pomelo how to be even more powerful, boosting his Attack and Defense!

Minun was probably not planning anything great, so we had Tangelo use Sucker Punch on it!

Minun tried to zap Tangelo with Thunderbolt, but it wasn't enough to knock him out even though it was a critical hit!

And Pomelo cleaned things up with a Leaf Blade powered up by Tangelo's Coaching!

I think Pomelo and Tangelo form a really great team together!

This way leads back to the Savanna Biome, so we made a quick U-turn!

And we ran to the Canyon Plaza!

Canyon Biome (5): Fighting and Fighting

We reached the Canyon Plaza, but we were not quite ready for the Elite Trial!

Tangelo did some training fighting fish swimming in the river!

It was getting late, and there were ghosts strolling around!

We also found a wild Turtwig! But for right now, Cantaloupe is enough for our team!

Gah?! Why is there someone here?

Why are YOU here? I wouldn't have found you if I wasn't gliding around with Koraidon!

Well, this stone bridge is not going to stop Mamey from spreading his Grassy Terrain!

Mamey struck Rhydon with a Grassy Glide and knocked it out immediately!

Ugh! Electabuzz threw a Fire Punch at Tangelo and landed a critical hit! Thankfully, he could still take a hit!

Tangelo lashed back with a Leaf Blade! It was more than enough to knock Electabuzz out!

Oh come on, that wasn't going to change anything other than using up my Paralyze Heal!

I think I can imagine why that is the case.

I mean, this place doesn't seem like a great place to stay at with so many fire-breathing cats around.

Let's head back to the Rest Area to nab some rewards!

Well, I don't.

We received 100 BPs for defeating 10 students!

Skitter Smack is a move for nasty bugs to use, but it certainly seems like a decent move even for us!

We got 200 BPs more! More BPs for me to print items!

We also got a TM for Supercell Slam, but I think it is too electrifying for me!

If you are counting the total number of Grass-type Pokemon in the Pokedexes, the answer is 96.

Soursop and Mamey versus Scrafty and Hitmontop! The last few times fighting against the hitmons have not been pleasant ...

Hitmontop and Scrafty both had Intimidate and lowered our Attack twice in total!

Because of that, Mamey didn't do much damage with Drum Beating, but at least we slowed Hitmontop down a little bit!

Scrafty aimed at Mamey with a High Jump Kick! What a kick in the face!

In revenge, Soursop angrily bit Scrafty and chopped its health to half!

Speaking of angry, Hitmontop countered Mamey's damage back and knocked him out!

The Grassy Terrain was also healing our opponents, and that was a little unfortunate.

Let's send out Tangelo to show them the correct fighting spirit!

Scrafty kicked at Soursop this time! She should've turned around and see it crash into her spiky shell!

Soursop went to bite Hitmontop with Super Fang!

Tangelo shot three arrows at Scrafty to make sure that it would be knocked out!

Hitmontop countered Soursop this time and left her at 2 HP!

The opponent sent out a Crabominable! That might be too chilling for us!

Soursop quickly chopped Crabominable with a Brick Break, but it did less than Super Fang would!

Yet again, Tangelo showed everyone his amazing archery tech with Triple Arrows!

And the snowy crab was gone.

Hitmontop used Triple Axel on Soursop, but a singular axel did the job.

We sent out Longan to wrap things up with a Dragon Pulse! Behold of Longan's dragon power!

The field up ahead was getting cold, so I think we'll stop here and make a return trip.

Chargestone Cavern (4): Caught in the web

We were unfortunately back to the Chargestone Cavern, to fight more trainers here!

Crispin is definitely the Elite Four member who I am least confident in battling against!

We had Longan and Loquat fight a balloon-holding metal dragon and an electrified spider!

We went with our classic strategy of setting Tailwind immediately!

Longan rode the wind and breathed out flames! I hope that made our Flamethrower stronger!

Well, Flamethrower didn't do that much, but we burnt Duraludon's Air Baloon!

One of the most annoying things spiders do is spitting spider webs at our faces!

Duraludon tried to paralyze Loquat, but she avoided the Thunder Wave!

Loquat demonstrated her fairy power with a Moonblast on Duraludon!

Longan then followed up with a Dragon Pulse and knocked Duraludon out!

Galvantula used Struggle Bug to hit both of our Pokemon!

Taking the hit wasn't that rough, but we had our Special Attacks lowered from that!

Kingdra was out next! This person seems to like Dragon-type Pokemon a lot!

Against powerful foes like Kingdra, the best strategy is to put up Light Screen before they can even move!

Longan blasted a Dragon Pulse at Kingdra, but that didn't do much!

Galvantula shot webs at us again, this time the webs were electrocuted!

Electroweb lowered our Speeds! This Galavantula was really trying to lower our stats!

Kingdra shot an Ice Beam at Longan, and it was more than enough to finish him off.

Kingdra lost HP from using that move, so that meant it was holding a Life Orb!

Salak was caught in the Sticky Web, but she got her Speed risen with that!

Salak blew a Leaf Storm at Kingdra, but it barely hanged on!

More importantly, Salak got her Special Attacks boosted! She would be unstoppable!

Loquat used Moonblast on Galvantula and managed to lower its Special Attack!

Galvantula shot Electroweb at us again, but thankfully it didn't do much damage!

Loquat got her Speed lowered from that, but Salak refused to do that and got her Speed risen again!

We left Kingdra at a tiny amount of HP and gave it an opportunity to restore its health!

We lost our Tailwind, but Salak should be fast enough with all the Speed boosts!

Time to go all out with this next move! Loquat gave Salak a boost!

Salak cleanly finished Kingdra off with Leaf Storm! That's the power of teamwork!

Galvantula used Electroweb again, and Salak got even faster!

The final Pokemon on the opponent's team was Golem, the one with beard!

We tried to remove Golem as quickly as possible with Leaf Storm, but it hanged on thanks to Sturdy!

And it got some of its health after eating its Sitrus Berry!

At this point, Galvantula was just trying to give Salak more Speed boosts.

Golem sent Loquat away with its Stone Edge!

We sent in Cantaloupe next, and she got her Speed lowered from the sticky web!

This cavern might be a little too dark for Salak to aim well!

Galvantula hit us with a Struggle Bug and gave Salak another Special Attack boost! How nice of you!

Golem, on the other hand, was not nice to Salak and hit her with Stone Edge!

Cantaloupe struck everyone around her with an Earthquake! She accidentally took out Salak, but at least Golem was handled well!

We lost our Light Screen, but it shouldn't matter anymore!

Tangelo got his Speed lowered from Sticky Web, but that too should not matter anymore!

Because Tangelo just cleaned things up with a Sucker Punch! Galvantula couldn't see that coming!

Chargestone Cavern (5): Charge it Up

I wasn't expecting to see an origami crane around the cavern.

Kids, please do not download anything from dubious sources.

Anyways, Porygon was an easy training target for Tangelo!

Me too! We should really go challenge another Elite Four member soon!

Longan searched our opponents and found a White Herb and an Air Balloon!

Um ... aren't you already floating in the air even without putting anything on?

Loquat put a Light Screen on to protect the team!

Minior put a Reflect on to protect their team! I guess this is a mirror fight (?).

Longan tried to destroy the opposing side with a Breaking Swipe, but it didn't do much damage!

But we got to lower Minior's Attack and pop Magnezone's Air Balloon!

Well, Minior's White Herb gave Minior back the Attack it lost!

Magnezone blasted Loquat with a Flash Cannon and did so much damage! Loquat got her Special Defense lowered, but it probably won't matter!

As a last-ditch effort, Loquat sent Minior back to space with Moonblast!

Minior finished Loquat off with an Acrobatics! Well, she did great already.

Longan blasted Minior with a Dragon Pulse, but that wasn't quite enough!

Magnezone used Flash Cannon on Longan this time, and he took it quite well!

Minior used its Shields Down and shed its rocky shell!

We sent Tangelo in to clean things up!

We gave Minior a nasty surprise with Sucker Punch!

And Longan gave Magnezone a good burn with his Flamethrower!

That was a critical hit too! Good job, Longan!

The opponents sent in a washing machine and a walking golem!

Rotom burned Tangelo with a Will-O-Wisp! That was rough for him!

Longan used Giga Drain on Rotom and did some great damage!

But Rotom stored a Sitrus Berry inside that washing machine and restored its health!

Golurk punched Tangelo with fiery fists and almost took him out! What a hot and unfortunate time for Tangelo!

Tangelo was just trying to support the team by dancing with his feathers! Golurk should be not as threatening anymore!

But Tangelo couldn't do much as it would keep getting worn down by the burn!

Tangelo couldn't do much with his Sucker Punch!

And he got finished by Rotom's Hydro Pump!

Longan avenged Tangelo with a Giga Drain to knock Rotom out! Maybe you should've taken the lawn mower instead!

Golurk used Fire Punch again, this time on Longan, but he didn't mind much!

Our screens were gone! Time for us to show our real power!

We sent out Mamey and spread the floor with Grassy Surge!

Mamey performed his signature drum show and defeated Golurk!

Canyon Biome (6): Wrapping things up for good

Today's the day we finished all the fights in the Canyon Biome! (Disclaimer: I actually lost to this trainer once, this was actually the second try)

We sent out Longan and Loquat against Meowstic and Gothitelle! We found a Psychic Seed and a Chesto Berry as held items!

Gothitelle surprised Loquat with a Fake Out! She would not be able to do anything this round!

Meowstic took that opportunity to put on Light Screen! If only we could infiltrate that screen!

Longan blasted a Dragon Pulse at Meowstic, but it didn't do much thanks to Light Screen!

Meowstic set up Psychic Terrain for their team and triggered its Psychic Seed. I mean, I use that kind of strategy a lot too!

Time for Loquat to put on a Light Screen for OUR side!

Gothitelle attacked us with Expanding Force! That move got even stronger under Psychic Terrain!

Longan went for Dragon Pulse, but it was still not doing that much!

We needed to speed things up! Loquat started a Tailwind by our side!

Meowstic also went for Expanding Force and did a lot of damage to Loquat and Longan!

Longan recovered some of his health with a Giga Drain on Meowstic!

Gothitelle cleaned things up with Expanding Force!

We got double knocked-out! Things were getting rough here, we needed something to remove the Psychic Terrain!

We sent in Starfruit and Mamey! Mamey replaced the field with our Grassy Terrain!

In the Grassy Terrain, Mamey can glide through swiftly! He finished Meowstic off immediately!

Starfruit went for Throat Chop on Gothitelle! That probably hurt a lot, but it won't be able to scream!

Without the Psychic Terrain, Gothitelle wouldn't be that scary! It tried to hurt Mamey with Foul Play, but he took it well!

Alcremie was sent in next! That isn't a Psychic-type!

Still, it would be a better idea to remove Gothitelle with another Throat Chop!

Mamey landed a critical hit with his Drum beating! His music is just that good!

But more importantly, Alcremie got slowed down by our drumbeats!

Alcremie went for Dazzling Gleam on our side, but we were still hanging tough!

The opponents lost their Light Screen! We should be able to do more damage then!

Reuniclus was sent out next! That thing semes to be a powerhouse!

Starfruit sent Alcremie back to the oven with a fiery Ivy Cudgel!

Mamey used Knock Off on Reuniclus! It was actually holding a Life Orb!

Without the Psychic Terrain, Expanding Force wouldn't be able to expand that much and could only hit one target at once!

But that was still enough to knock Mamey out! At least he helped us get the terrain to work for us!

Our Light Screen and Tailwind were both gone! We needed to finish things up as soon as possible!

We sent out Tangelo! Even though he isn't good at fighting Psychic-type Pokemon, I still have faith in him!

Well, we were planning a Sucker Punch on Tangelo, but it didn't work!

That didn't stop Starfruit from landing a Throat Chop to finish Reuniclus! Psychic-type Pokemon are so strong, maybe someone should try using them!

We defeated every student in the Canyon Biome and received 500 BPs for that!

We also got a TM for Meteor Beam! That definitely sounds like a powerful move!

Only one trainer in the whole Canyon Biome, and it was Amarys!

vs Amarys (1)

We were finally ready for our second BB League Elite Four challenge, a battle against Amarys!

Amarys was still upset about me taking on the League, but she still let me challenge her!

Before we could get to battle Amarys, we first needed to pass through the Flying Time Trial!

This trial required the use of Koraidon! And Amarys fed Koraidon some mysterious food! I hope that's good for its health!

Koraidon was given the ability to fly around, but it could only do so during the trial!

It started raining when we started the trial, and I was really worried that might get too dangerous!

But we still managed to finish the trial! Flying through the sky was so much fun!

We made a perfect landing onto the battle court for a fight against Amarys!

Before we started, Amarys asked me what Kieran is to me and I gave her my answer!

Amarys also showed her concern on Kieran's recent behaviors! We both noticed how he has changed!

We both wanted to help Kieran, and this has turned into a battle to see who should help him!

Amarys is a Steel-type trainer, and she led the battle with Dugtrio and Skarmory! We had Raspberry and Cantaloupe on our side!

Dugtrio quickly threw some stone edges at Raspberry, but he avoided them!

Raspberry then put up a Reflect screen! I hope this wasn't too late!

And our nemesis, Skarmory, beat Raspberry up twice with its wings!

This time around we tried the Earthquake strategy, since Raspberry would float above that!

Though unfortunately, Skarmory was also unaffected by Earthquake!

And Dugtrio also got to hang on with its Focus Sash!

Dugtrio cut through Raspberry's defenses with its Stone Edge! I guess we got too lucky last turn.

Skarmory went for Dual Wingbeat again, but Cantaloupe took that well!

Cantaloupe avenged Raspberry with a Rock Slide finishing Dugtrio!

Oh, that was a critical hit on Skarmory? This bird is really bulky!

We sent out Lime next, which is perfect for fighting Amarys' next Pokemon, Empoleon!

First things first, we got rid of Skarmory with a Thunderbolt! Things just usually don't go well for us whenever there is a big metallic bird flying around.

Cantaloupe got to unleash Earthquake safely again, since Lime levitates above the ground!

Earthquake did significant damage to Empoleon! I think Cantaloupe might have some sorts of rivalry against Empoleon!

Well, rivalry goes both ways, and Empoleon knocked out Cantaloupe with a chilling Ice Beam!

We sent out Starfruit next, which should be a wonderful choice against Scizor!

Right off the bat, Starfruit crushed Scizor with a fiery Cudgel!

Even though Scizor had an Occa Berry to weaken the damage of Ivy Cudgel, it was still more than enough to knock it out in one hit!

And Lime cleaned things up with a Thunderbolt on Empoleon! That's a kind of bird I don't mind fighting!

vs Amarys (2)

Amarys only had two Pokemon left, and they were Metagross and Reuniclus!

Amarys Terastallized her Metagross into a pure Steel-type! That thing looks really threatening!

Starfruit went for Throat Chop on Reuniclus! That might be too brutal on a spongy cell like this!

To prevent Metagross stomping our team, Lime burned it with Will-O-Wisp!

Thanks to our Reflect screen and the burn, Metagross didn't hurt Starfruit too badly with Zen Headbutt!

Reuniclus twisted the dimensions! Amarys' secret strategy was to utilize Trick Room!

Reuniclus got some health back form its Leftovers, while Metagross lost some health from the burn! We should probably target Reuniclus first!

Under Trick Room, Reuniclus struck first with a Psychic on Lime! That hurt a lot!

Metagross also targeted Lime with its Ice Punch! Lime was still hanging tough even though it was being picked on!

Lime used Hex on Reuniclus to bring it down even more!

And Starfruit finished Reuniclus with another Throat Chop! I guess she chopped a little too hard!

Lime got some HP back from its Leftovers, but it probably won't help too much!

At least Metagross was still burned and kept getting worn down!

But Metagross was still able to clean up Lime with Ice Punch!

Starfruit slammed Metagross with Ivy Cudgel, but Metagross hanged on with a tiny amount of health!

Metagross was knocked out by its burn! Burning it was a great decision!

We were declared the winner! We didn't even use our whole team this fight!

I was really determined to help Kieran, but I acknowledge that Amarys cares about him a lot too!

We took a photo to commemorate our battle! I wasn't expecting Amarys to use such a cute gesture under her stone-cold face!

Amarys also gave us a TM for Hard Press, but I don't think my Grass-type Pokemon would suit that!

With two Elite Four members taken care of, we got a step closer to battling Kieran!

And Drayton showed up just in time yet again! He really was monitoring us closely, kinda reminds me of how Kieran followed me during the Kitakami trip!

Drayton acts like he doesn't care that much, but he knows his clubmates really well!

Kieran also showed up, and he seemed to be excited that I got another Elite battle done ... ?

Kieran is also waiting for me to challenge him! We must try our best to defeat the other two Elite Four members!

Speaking of the Elite Four, we still hadn't visited Drayton in his biome!

We finally headed to the snowy and cold Polar Biome!

Polar Biome (1): Make It Rain

Cloudberry absolutely loves the Polar Biome, since it is snowing all the time!

Cloudberry doesn't even need his Snow Warning to make it snow!

Well, why are polar bears called "polar"?

Let's see what Tamarillo and Soursop are capable of doing for Qwilfish and Duosion!

Never mind. Tamarillo fled the scene with a Shed Tail creating a decoy!

Cherry got to enter the field behind Tamarillo's cover!

I mean, this snow is too cold for me too, but I don't think you can change the weather like that!

Soursop went for Brick Break on Qwilfish, but that wasn't enough to break it apart!

Uh-oh! Duosion calmed it mind and boosted its stats! That might get dangerous very soon!

Hey, I really don't think you can use Rain Dance in the snow.

Soursop wouldn't be able to hurt Duosion that much, so we went with Super Fang for steady damage!

Cherry needed some way to wear Duosion down, so we went with Infestation!

But Duosion wasn't damaged at all from the infestation! It's like it was guarded by some magic!

Duosion unleashed the power it built up and knocked out Soursop in one hit! That was ... unfortunate!

Cloudberry definitely would not mind battling out in the snow!

Hmm. Sure.

Cloudberry quickly removed Duosion with a Wood Hammer before it got too dangerous!

Cherry didn't have that many damaging moves, and she relies on using Syrup Bomb on our opponents!

Syrup Bomb lowered Qwilfish's Speed! We can now prevent it from using Rain Dance that quickly!

Cloudberry was then able to strike before Qwilfish and landed a Blizzard to finish the battle!

Well, I'm really disappointed by the lack of greenery in the Polar Biome, but I guess that's how it is in the North or South Pole!

On the other hand, the Polar Biome is a great place for cold dinosaur to swim at!

Or darker version of Qwilfish, not like the ones we usually find in Paldea!

To better prepare for the cold environment, we gave Cherry a Bold Mint!

Chargestone Cavern (6): Make It Snow

Oh no! We are back again?

I really hope you are the last trainer residing in the Chargestone Cavern! They are all so strong!

Loquat and Plum were out battling Porygon2 and Krookodile! Krookodile was pretty intimidating, but we won't let that stop us!

Loquat went for the reliable Tailwind strategy!

With the Tailwind backing us up, Plum struck Krookodile with a Giga Drain!

Krookodile slammed Plum with High Horsepower! But you weren't even a horse!

Hey, we were in a cave, so why was it still so cold like outside?

If you want to be in the cold, Cloudberry can make it snow even inside this cave!

If the snow wasn't enough, Cloudberry can make it even colder with a Blizzard! Krookodile didn't like the cold weather that much!

Plum then drained Porygon2's energy with Giga Drain, though I'm not sure if that cyber duck has any life force to begin with!

Porygon2 was actually holding a Sitrus Berry, though I'm not sure if that cyber duck can eat a berry to begin with!

Porygon2 blasted Cloudberry with three kinds of energy, but he took it just fine!

I feel like we had been fighting Golurk a lot, but here it comes again!

Cloudberry casted another Blizzard, and it was super effective on the Golurk!

Uh-oh! That super effective hit came back to bite thanks to Golurk's Weakness Policy!

Plum finished Porygon2 with a Sludge Bomb, but Golurk seemed to be a bigger threat now!

With its Weakness Policy activated, Golurk gave Plum a freezing Ice Punch and sent him back to his Poke Ball!

We sent out Starfruit next, which is perfect for the Galvantula our opponent has left!

Starfruit swiftly finished Galvantula up with an Ivy Cudgel! As expected, the best way to deal with a spider is to burn it with fire!

Cloudberry gave Golurk another freezing Blizzard and finished it up! No more Weakness Policy would help you with this one!

This part of the cavern wasn't actually that deep and we already made it through after one Trainer battle!

Polar Biome (2): Make It Rain Again

That sounds like a Terribull name for your team if you ask me!

Both of the opposing Snubbull intimidated our team and dropped our Attacks! That was truly Terribull!

Tamarillo went with Energy Ball this time and almost knocked a Snubbull out!

Soursop wouldn't be able to do much after getting intimidated twice, so she went for Super Fang instead!

Tamarillo got paralyzed by Thunder Wave! Now he wouldn't be able to move that fast!

And Tamarillo got hit by Play Rough! At least he isn't an actual Dragon-type!

Soursop finished Snubbull up with a Brick Break even though her Attack was dropped twice!

And Tamarillo finished the other Snubbull with Energy Ball! I hope there aren't any more Snubbull to fight!

I guess we really won't need to fight Snubbull again ... 'cause we had a Granbull to fight next! With Intimidate too!

Granbull wouldn't take that much damage, so Soursop went for Super Fang to chop its health in half!

And Granbull had a much stronger Play Rough! Tamarillo couldn't take that after being bullied by the Snubbull!

Well, the most consistent way to deal with enemies in this Biome is to send Cloudberry out and blow a Blizzard!

We made our way to the Polar Outdoor Classroom! But there weren't any lessons here right now!

But we can always find some schoolmates to battle with!

Another Qwilfish? This time with Dewgong as well!

Tamarillo went for Energy Ball on Dewgong, but Dewgong was actually pretty bulky!

No more Rain Dance for Qwilfish, Qwilfish poisoned Tamarillo with Toxic poison!

Oh, Dewgong is the one using Rain Dance this time.

Soursop brough Dewgong's health further down with Super Fang!

We needed to act quick before Tamarillo's poison gets too serious!

Tamarillo went for another Energy Ball and finish Dewgong!

Qwilfish went for Toxic again and badly poisoned Soursop this time! What a Toxic strategy!

We finally got to focus on Qwilfish, and Soursop wore it down with Super Fang!

Both of our Pokemon were getting hurt by poison at the end of the turn!

Tamarillo's Energy Ball was not that effective against Qwilfish! I guess this Qwilfish isn't a Water-type!

As if spreading Toxic damage wasn't annoying enough, Qwilfish used Miminize to raise its evasiveness!

But that didn't matter, since Soursop accurately broke Qwilfish with a Brick Break!

Polar Biome (3): Caught in a Blizzard

In order to win at battles, different trainers come up with different strategies!

Let's see what this trainer is planning with his Rotom and Ninetales!

Well, I guess using Blizzard under the snowstorm is a good strategy, but it is one that I don't like at all!

Tamarillo tried to flee with Shed Tail, but he didn't have enough health left to do so!

And Rotom used Blizzard to cleawn both Soursop and Tamarillo up! I like that Pokemon more when it's not inside a fridge!

We lost both of our Pokemon on the first turn! Yikes!

We decided to fight the snow with the snow itself and sent out Cloudberry! And Loquat was there to help him out too!

Loquat first put on a Light Screen to slow things down!

Ninetales didn't do that much damage with Blizzard thanks to the Light Screen!

But it was still too cold and froze Loquat!

And Rotom's Blizzard blew through our defenses and knocked Loquat out! At least we still got Cloudberry!

Cloudberry lashed out with a Wood Hammer on Ninetales, but it actually didn't do that much!

Dragonfruit doesn't like playing in the snow, but we had a brilliant idea!

We Terastallized Dragonfruit into a pure Grass-type! Things shouldn't be that bad for her after that!

Ninetales couldn't knock Dragonfruit immediately thanks to our Terastallization!

And Dragonfruit recovered most of her health thanks to her ripening the Sitrus Berry!

But then Rotom's Blizzard brought our Pokemon down to critically low health!

And unfortunately for us, Dragonfruit couldn't quite finish Ninetales up even though it was boosted by her Tera Jewel!

At least Cloudberry took care of things with a Wood Hammer! We still had Rotom left though, and things weren't looking great!

Alcremie was sent out next! It probably wouldn't be casting more blizzards, but I still didn't trust it all that much!

Well, Rotom cleaned us up with another Blizzard.

Not even Terastallization could save us! And we only had one Pokemon left!

Well, we had nothing left on our field to take that Dazzling Gleam.

We only had Cherry left, and I don't think her supersweet aroma would be able to save her ...

Cherry went down with yet another Blizzard!

That was cold.

Polar Biome (4): Against the Wind

We were back again, and this time we will WIN.

We changed up our team roster and led with our reliable Loquat-Apricot pairing!

No blizzard for Rotom this turn, since Apricot gave it a good Fake Out!

And we already knew what Ninetales would be using, so we had Loquat use Light Screen to block the incoming damage!

Yup, Ninetales was going to use Blizzard!

Blizzard did nothing to Apricot as she rode the wind! It even gave her an Attack boost!

Speaking of attack boost, Loquat triggered Wind Rider again by setting up a Tailwind by our side!

With two Attack boosts, Apricot unleashed a super strong Rock Slide to hit both the opponents!

Ninetales went for Blizzard again, and Apricot was still unharmed with yet another Attack boost!

Rotom joined in and gave Apricot her fourth Attack boost! We lost Loquat from that, but we should still be fine!

Time to melt the blizzards with Redcurrant!

Never mind, Apricot took care of things with another Rock Slide! We didn't even need Flamethrower!

Only Alcremie left to handle, and we should be fine!

Time to give them our own kind of blizzard! Apricot knocked Alcremie out with a strong Petal Blizzard!

At least we got to know more about Drayton's background! No wonder why he's such a strong trainer!

We reached the Polar Biome Rest Area and claimed our prize for defeating 6 students in the biome!

We got 100 BPs and a TM for Breaking Swipe! Might be helpful if we got even more dragons to join the team!

Well, my dream is to defeat everyone in the BB League!

We had Pomelo and Salak battling against Magnezone and Meowstic! I hope these two Pokemon would not be using Blizzard!

Meowstic put on a Light Screen for the opposing team! That was not great for Salak!

Well, we put on a Light Screen as well for our side!

Pomelo shot a Sinister Shackle and locked Meowstic down! We got really close to knocking it out!

And Meowstic got some of its health back with its Sitrus Berry!

Magnezone slowed Pomelo down with Thunder Wave!

Salak finished Meowstic with a critical hit on Leaf Storm!

More importantly, Salak got Special Attack boosts from that! Time for some snowballing!

And Magnezone paralyzed Salak too with Thunder Wave! Now both of our Pokemon were paralyzed!

Pomelo shot some arrows at Magnezone, but he didn't do that much!

Magnezone was also holding Leftovers to keep healing itself! Not sure how it eats though!

Scizor might as well be the last thing I want to see right now.

Scizor cut through Pomelo with Aerial Ace, but he was still hanging on!

Pomelo then took a Thunderbolt from Magnezone! He still had this!

Salak blew through Magnezone with Leaf Storm even though it wasn't very effective!

Another critical hit! Salak had it all out for this fight!

Pomelo might not be a professional at setting Tailwind like Loquat and Raspberry, but he still did a pretty good job here!

Have you ever tried to punch a bird?

It can be surprisingly effective!

Salak was too shocked by Pomelo getting knocked out and couldn't move!

We sent Salal out for a Salal-Salak combo!

Salal shot Scizor with a Shadow Ball, but it didn't do that much! I guess there weren't enough light around here!

Salak blew leaves at Scizor, but it didn't take that much damage!

At least we got Salak's Special Attack up to her highest!

Scizor pounced at Salak and almost knocked her out!

But that gave Salak a Speed boost! That's what you get for being contrary!

We lost our Light Screen, but it shouldn't matter much for Scizor!

Scizor also lost its Light Screen and that's great news for our team!

Well, Salak's Speed boost was not enough for her to move faster than Scizor's Quick Attack.

That didn't matter at the end, since Salal finished things up with a Shadow Ball!

Polar Biome (5): Out of Space and Time

After that battle, we went and put all Smeargle Paint in the Item Printer to print some items!

(The rewards weren't even worth it.)

I think we needed new teammates to join us! And we happened to run into a mysterious Tera Raid Battle!

Iron Leaves was a powerful opponent, but we still managed to defeat it and catch it!

Iron Leaves is a Paradox Pokemon, but unlike Koraidon and Tomato, it doesn't seem to come from the ancient past!

Raisin the Iron Leaves is our newest addition to the team! It looks so futuristic!

We ran around the academy with Raisin and finished some quests!

More importantly, we needed to see how Raisin fares in battles!

Well, fighting against two Granbull with Intimidate was an unlucky start.

Raisin sliced through Granbull with Leaf Blade, but it didn't do much damage!

And Tamarillo couldn't quite finish up the target with Energy Ball!

I guess Granbull likes dried fruits, 'cause it took a Crunch on Raisin!

The other Granbull hit Tamarillo with Play Rough! It hurt a lot and dropped Tamarillo's Attack!

We couldn't let Raisin stay in the field after those Attack drops!

We sent out Cloudberry instead to take advantage of the ongoing snow!

Tamarillo finished the first Granbull with another Energy Ball! One target down!

Granbull used Last Resort! Really? Already?

That was more than enough to finish up Tamarillo!

Well, we started the battle with Raisin, and we should let it finish the fight as well!

The opposing trainer sent in Cinccino!

Cinccino tried to perform a Triple Axel, but Cloudberry avoided with his own axel!

Raisin then knocked out Cinccino with Close Combat! It might not be a Fighting-type, but it still got some impressive fighting skills!

Though we had to be careful around Raisin's lowered defenses!

Cloudberry gave Granbull a chilling Blizzard!

Granbull got desperate and used Last Resort again! Cloudberry took the hit well though!

Another Cinccino entered the field! I guess we should just use the same moves again!

Cinccino went for Rock Blast on Raisin!

We were lucky it only hit for three times! Any more hits and Raisin would be gone!

That meant Raisin could take revenge on Cinccino with another Close Combat!

And Granbull went down with another Blizzard! That's why you should wear warmer clothing in the Polar Biome!

We made it to the Polar Plaza! We needed to take care of more trainer battles before we challenged Drayton!

Let's test our Raisin's abilities with another battle! Raisin and Tamarillo out against Golurk and Rotom!

There we go! Raisin knocked Golurk out in one hit with just Leaf Blade!

That was a critical hit too! Raisin was eager to prove itself!

Meanwhile, that should be a great time for Tamarillo to flee!

Cloudberry came into the field, behind Tamarillo's protection!

Rotom paralyzed Raisin with a Thunder Wave! I guess it does look like a great electrical conductor!

Rotom blasted Cloudberry with Shadow Ball, but he took no damage!

Though Cloudberry lost his substitute! Things should still be fine for us!

Cloudberry gave Rotom a freezing Blizzard!

And froze it solid with that!

And the rest of the turn was not that exciting, since Raisin and Rotom both couldn't move!

Another Blizzard and Rotom was gone! I hope that doesn't turn it into the refrigerator!

We were so busy running around for trainer battles and were rewarded 200 BPs and a TM for Muddy Water!

The Polar Biome was full of snowy cliffs, and we must conquer them all!

Hmm ... I prefer reading about plant ecology and food nutrition. To each of their own, I guess.

Let's see how great Raisin and Persimmon work together in a battle against Golurk and Minior!

Everyone was looking at Persimmon after he sprinkled the field with some Rage Powder!

Another Golurk meant another Leaf Blade to finish the job. We didn't even need the critical hit!

Minior threw some pointed stones at our side, so we must be careful switching around!

Another Minior? Are you like Lacey, collecting all forms of Minior?

Persimmon went for Rage Powder again to protect Raisin, while Raisin unleashed its full power!

But Raisin's Leaf Blade was not enough to knock Minior out!

Wah, why did you do that?

Minior sacrificed itself and damaged everyone on the field! That was certainly a bold strategy!

Oh, not again!

We got hit by another Explosion, and both Raisin and Persimmon were heavily worn down!

Seriously? A third Minior?

Raisin's Leaf Blade was still not enough to finish Minior and we couldn't do anything against the disaster that's going to happen!

(Kids, remember to treasure your life and refrain from using Explosion.)

Minior knocked itself out and brought our Pokemon down with it as well!

No Pokemon were left on the field! Is that what you wanted?

Polar Biome (6): Snow Warning

You should eat some fruits after your meals!

Porygon stole Persimmon's Effect Spore and put them on its own body!

Porygon trying to snatch Persimmon's spores made him really angry and caught everyone's attention!

Raisin then struck Porygon with a Close Combat and knocked it out!

Metang then slammed Persimmon with Zen Headbutt! That hurt a lot!

Persimmon was almost knocked out by that critical hit! Maybe it wasn't a good idea to be the center of attention!

Metang then finished Persimmon with Bullet Punch!

Persimmon didn't go down in vain! He managed to paralyze Metang with his spores before he went down!

Raisin landed another Close Combat, this time on Metang!

We sent Tomato next to clean things up!

Tomato pulled a Sucker Punch on Metang and knocked it out!

I climbed the peak to find more trainers to battle!

Oh, Ninetales and another Ice-type Pokemon. This is bringing bad memories.

Well, Sandslash went down with one Close Combat!

Uh-oh! No Foul Plays should be allowed here! We need to play fair!

Ninetales made Raisin attack itself and knocked it out! That's the problem of being too powerful!

Tamarillo avenged Raisin with an Energy Ball on Ninetales, but that didn't do that much!

We sent out Persimmon, while the opposing team sent out Crabominable!

Ninetales went for Foul Play on Persimmon, but he actually didn't have that much Attack to hurt himself!

Tamarillo went for Energy Ball on Ninetales again, but it was still not enough!

Crabominable slammed its icy fist at Persimmon and knocked him out! That was strong!

We sent our Soursop next to take out these chilling Ice-type Pokemon!

Ninetales bring back more bad memories with Blizzard! At least both Soursop and Tamarillo were still hanging on!

Tamarillo went with his third Energy Ball and finally finished Ninetales!

Soursop gave Crabominable a Brick Break and almost knocked it out!

Crabominable picked Tamarillo up with an Ice Punch! This thing is really quite powerful!

We sent out Tomato next! 2-to-1 should give us an advantage in handling Crabominable!

Tomato used Close Combat to finish the fight! Fighting Ice-type Pokemon is truly rough for us!

No better work out than fierce Pokemon battles!

A Metang again? This time with Duosion? Let's see if Raisin and Soursop can take care of things!

Raisin used Megahorn, but it wasn't so easy to aim with such a mega horn!

Metang would not be easy to bring down, so Soursop used Super Fang to wear it down first!

Metang threw some Sludge Bomb at Raisin! That's pretty gross!

Duosion turned the battlefield into Trick Room! We should have some slow Pokemon out!

Duosion then went first and knocked Soursop out with an Expanding Force!

Metang hit Raisin with Sludge Bomb again!

You poisoned my Raisin! That was not nice!

Raisin managed to connect with Megahorn this time and knocked Duosion out!

Tomato has been really helpful cleaning fights for us, so we sent it out to take care of things!

As we hoped, Tomato cleaned things up with Sucker Punch!

We flew across the snowy mountain to find more trainers to battle!

Gotta stay warm when out adventuring in a snowstorm!

Vulpix and Seel! That combination is probably not as deadly as Ninetales and Rotom, but I'm still pretty worried!

Soursop put on a Wide Guard in case of more Blizzards blowing at us!

Seel tried to Fake Out on Soursop, but she already used her move so that didn't matter that much!

Raisin showed everyone its great bladework with a Leaf Blade to knock Seel out in one hit!

Vulpix Freeze-Dry on Raisin, but it was already pretty dried and didn't take that much damage!

Crabominable was sent up next! Why do I feel like I run into this Pokemon so often here?

Raisin's signature work was its Psyblade! That move looks so awesome!

Crabominable didn't even stand a chance against Psyblade, since it was a critical hit!

Vulpix put on an Aurora Veil! I know how useful that is, since we always have Cloudberry do this as well!

And Soursop broke both Vulpix and the Aurora Veil with her Brick Break! That was really lucky on our side!

Sandshrew was the final Pokemon, and I think it would not be a big problem!

Raisin couldn't see very well, since this version of Sandshrew blends in really well with the snow!

But Sandshrew could not escape from Soursop's Brick Break!

Polar Biome (7): Cold Blizzard

We're always up for a challenge, whether it is Drayton or just any League Club members!

Raisin and Salak out fighting against Sandslash and Dewgong! Ice-type Pokemon can get really brutal in the snow, so we must be careful!

First things first, we should put on a Reflect screen to protect the team!

Raisin landed a Close Combat on Sandslash, which should do significant damage!

Unfortunately for us, Sandslash was prepared for that! It ate a Chople Berry and weakened our attack!

And then Sandslash got all of its health back with a super-effective Leech Life on Raisin!

And our worst nightmare was back! Dewgong blew a Blizzard and almost brought Salak down!

We sent in one of our most reliable members, Kiwano next!

Salak put on a Light Screen next! Now we are protected on both fronts!

Kiwano dropped a Rock Slide on the opposing team, but it didn't do that much to either of them!

At least he managed to flinch Sandslash and prevented more disaster!

Dewgong, on the other hand, safely unleashed another Blizzard and knocked Salak out!

To make things worse, Dewgong got Ice Body to heal itself under this snow!

We sent in Honeydew next to deal with these Ice-type Pokemon with her fighting prowess!

Sandslash went and protected itself! That could be dangerous for our plans!

Honeydew then pulled up a Petal Blizzard! Sandslash avoided the move but that was fine!

The important things were that we gave Kiwano an Attack boost and got to deal much more damage to Dewgong!

Kiwano then struck everyone with Earthquake! Well, maybe not everyone since Sandslash was protecting itself.

Our double offense was almost enough to finish Dewgong off!

But since Dewgong managed to take our hits, it got to lash out with a chilling Blizzard!

And it got more health from the snow thanks to its Ice Body!

Honeydew tried to give Sandslash a good Axe Kick, but she missed the attack!

Honeydew crashed herself and knocked herself out! That was unlucky!

Kiwano had enough of Dewgong's shenanigans and finally knocked it out with a critical hit Leaf Blade!

But Kiwano was then knocked out by Sandslash's Iron Head! We were down to 2 Pokemon left only!

We had only Elderberry and Guava by our side! Meanwhile, the opponent sent in Lanturn!

Guava performed his Flower Trick, but it wasn't quite enough to knock Lanturn out!

Lanturn also got to restore some of its health with its Sitrus Berry!

Lanturn then paralyzed Guava with Thunder Wave! That made things worse!

Sandslash then bit Guava and leech his life! That hurt a lot!

Sandslash avoided our attack again! This snow was too white for us to see it clearly!

And we were starting to lose our screens! Things were looking worse and worse!

Lanturn blinded Elderberry with Confuse Ray! But I don't think Elderberry got good sights anyways.

Sandslash finished Guava off with Leech Life. And we were down to having Elderyberry only!

And Elderberry was still confused by everything happening and hit itself!

Our Light Screen was also gone, which meant we wouldn't be able to take that many hits!

Luckily, Lanturn's Surf didn't do that much on Elderberry!

But Sandslash had more than enough with a Leech Life to finish Elderberry off! We lost!

Polar Biome (8): Extra Special

We were back for more! This time we will not lose again!

This time, we gave Raisin a Booster Energy to heighten its Attack as soon as it entered the battlefield!

Just like last time, Salak immediately put up a Reflect screen to hopefully slow Sandslash down!

With a heightened Attack, Raisin got to do a lot of damage to Dewgong with just Leaf Blade!

As expected, Raisin got hit by Sandslash's Leech Life, but it still got to hang on!

But Dewgong's Blizzard finished Raisin off and also did a lot to Salak!

We must not forget Dewgong has Ice Body, and we should get rid of it as soon as possible!

Kiwano did pretty well last time, so let's hope he would be able to help out the team again!

Salak went for the offensive role this time and quickly knocked Dewgong out with a Leaf Storm!

And she also got a sharp Special Attack boost! Things should go better for us this time!

Kiwano also went for the boosting route with Bulk Up giving himself some Attack and Defense boosts!

Sandslash probably realized how dangerous Salak is and knocked her out with Leech Life!

We sent Honeydew next and our opposing team sent Lapras in next this time!

Sandslash chose to protect itself for this round! It seemed to be particularly afraid of Honeydew!

We went for the Petal Blizzard strategy again, so it didn't really matter if Sandslash was protecting itself!

The important thing was Kiwano got an Attack boost from Sap Sipper, and we got to do decent damage on Lapras!

Kiwano then went with Rock Slide, and it was unfortunate that Sandslash avoided that hit!

At least Kiwano and Honeydew's double efforts were enough to bring Lapras to low health!

Lapras was a dangerous foe! It went for Blizzard and take out most of our health!

Honeydew ate her Sitrus Berry and got some health back, while Lapras had Leftovers to restore its HP as well!

Honeydew went for Axe Kick on Sandslash, and luckily, we hit this time!

Though Sandslash still had a Chople Berry to weaken that move, we still did over half with that!

Kiwano then finished Lapras off with a Leaf Blade!

Sandslash lashed back at Honeydew with Iron Head! At least she did great already!

We sent in Guava next, while our opponent had only Sandslash and Lanturn left!

Time to demonstrate our true power with a Terastallization on Guava!

Guava lost his Dark-type, but in return got a more powerful Flower Trick!

Our boosted-up Flower Trick was enough to finish Lanturn off in one hit this time!

Kiwano then struck the field with Earthquake! It hurt Guava a little as well, but he probably didn't mind much!

As long as we got to finish our foes! We were the victor this time!

With that, we finally defeated every student in the Polar Biome!

We got 500 BPs and a free TM of Triple Axel from the counsellor!

But more importantly, we defeated every student in every biome!

We got 5 Ability Patches for our hard work! Let's see who to use these on!

Patching Abilities

Before we actually applied Ability Patches, I went and printed more of them!

Even more!

Doubly more! Seriously, this Item Printer is way too useful and too convenient! I almost forgot to actually start adventuring!

Melon now has Thick Fat, which should mean she would become better fighting Fire-type Pokemon!

Avocado now has Technician, which would boost moves like Bullet Seed and Mach Punch! She also remembered how to use Spore!

Tangelo now has Scrappy, which should be useful against intimidating targets!

Soursop has Bulletproof which protects her from different types of moves!

Plum now has Effect Spore to inflict status conditions on attackers, and he is now also calm-natured!

Drayton's Trial

We then went to apply for Drayton's Elite Trial, which Drayton allowed us to get in for free!

I guess Drayton has been hoping to get a chance to battle me as well!

We know that Drayton is a Dragon-type trainer and we should prepare for that!

Drayton's Elite Trial, Terarium-Only Battles, just require us to beat three other League Club members!

The catch is that we must use Pokemon caught in the Terarium only!

Well, we've been trying our best to try out Pokemon caught from different biomes so this shouldn't be a problem for us!

And the three opponents are here! They seem to be as ready for battles as I always am!

Our first team include Salak, Tangelo, Tamarillo, Strawberry, Plantain and Soursop! These Pokemon were all released in the biomes by the Terarium Club!

Our first battle started with Salak and Tangelo versus Bastiodon and Rampardos!

Salak's Leaf Storm didn't go very well in this snowstorm!

Tangelo unleashed his favorite Triple Arrows on Bastiodon and almost knocked it out!

Triple Arrows has a high tendency to land critical hits, but Bastiodon's sturdy body prevented it from doing even more damage!

At least we also got to lower Bastiodon's Defense! Not that it should matter anymore!

Rampardos showed its Scary Face and lower Salak's Speed! Her contrarian attitude meant nothing to Rampardos' Mold Breaker!

Bastiodon then slammed Salak with its Iron Head! Fortunately for us, Bastiodon isn't really a powerful Pokemon!

Tangelo gave Bastiodon a Sucker Punch and caught it off guard!

Meanwhile, Salak connected with Leaf Storm this time and knocked Rampardos out in one hit!

For our next battle, we had some switch-arounds and put Passionfruit on the team!

For the next chilling battle, we had Plantain and Tamarillo against Sandslash and Dewgong! Honestly, this opposing pair brought up bad memories!

Tamarillo had enough of this and fled the field with Shed Tail!

Passionfruit came in and hid behind Tamarillo's substitute!

Plantain then put up a Reflect screen to protect the team!

Dewgong was also trying to protect their team with Safeguard! We would not be able to inflict status conditions on them!

Sandslash then dropped some icicles on Passionfruit! That had got to hurt!

Luckily, Passionfruit was protected by the substitute! Though Icicle Crash was also enough to take out the substitute!

Plantain then put on Light Screen as well to give us another layer of protection!

With Light Screen by our side, Dewgong's Ice Beam didn't do that much despite being super-effective on Plantain!

Unfortunately, Plantain was frozen solid by Ice Beam! We must thaw her out as soon as possible!

Sandslash also targeted Plantain with Icicle Crash! She was still hanging tough, but things weren't looking great for her!

Meanwhile, Passionfruit did a little Quiver Dance and boosted his stats!

After a boost, Passionfruit was fast enough to go first and almost knocked Dewgong out with Giga Drain!

Plantain was trying to help out, but she was too frozen to do anything!

Things got colder for Plantain with another Ice Beam taking her out!

Passionfruit was then struck by Icicle Crash, but he was fine taking that hit thanks to Reflect!

We sent in Strawberry next to hopefully finish things up!

Passionfruit quickly finished Dewgong with a Giga Drain!

Strawberry hit Sandslash with Earth Power and almost knocked it out in one hit!

And Sandslash lashed out with an Icicle Crash on Strawberry! Too bad he doesn't have Thick Fat protecting himself!

Passionfruit then cleaned things up with a Moonblast on Sandslash! Things got much better this time around!

Last time I battled an Iono fan, I was trapped in a battle for ten hours with a Smeargle.

Strawberry and Passionfruit worked out well last time, so we tried them out again against Magnezone and Zebstrika!

Zebstrika immediately set us on fire with Flame Charge on Passionfruit!

Flame Charge didn't actually do that much, but Zebstrika got even faster from that!

Strawberry then struck through the earth with Earth Power on Magnezone!

Magnezone barely hanged on thanks to its Sturdy Ability!

Passionfruit tried out his Quiver Dance again and boosted some of his stats!

Magnezone made some irritating screeches and lower Passionfruit's Defense! We must speed things up before that gets too terrible for him!

Zebstrika struck Passionfruit with Flame Charge again and did much more damage this time!

At least Passionfruit got to recover some of his health with a boosted Giga Drain on Zebstrika!

Strawberry properly finished Magnezone off with another Earth Power!

Zebstrika then hit Strawberry with Flame Charge! If only he gets Thick Fat on his body!

And Passionfruit finished the battle with another Giga Drain! He's doing really well in these battles!

We defeated all three League Club members and completed the Elite Trial! Drayton shall be the next one!

vs Drayton (1)

We didn't waste any time and immediately went to challenge Drayton for an Elite Battle!

Drayton and I were both excited to finally get to battle each other!

Drayton wanted me to beat everyone in the League Club, and to do that, we must beat Drayton!

We challenged Drayton, who is also formerly the strongest trainer in the League Club!

We led with Loquat and Watermelon, while Drayton had Flygon and Dragonite!

We started the battle with Fake Out on Dragonite, which prevented it from doing anything!

Loquat then safely set up Tailwind for our side!

Flygon punched Loquat with its fiery fists and almost knocked Loquat out!

Flygon's secret of its powerful hit was the Life Orb it was holding! At least that meant it would wear down itself!

And then Dragonite cleaned things up with an Extreme Speed on Loquat! Poor Loquat hadn't even finished setting things up!

Blizzard is a big weakness for Dragon-type Pokemon, which is why we taught Watermelon that move prior to this fight!

Well, Blizzard's biggest weakness is its inaccuracy and Watermelon couldn't aim well against these two big dragons!

Flygon then hit Watermelon with Fire Punch! Luckily for her, she isn't actually weak to Fire!

Though Watermelon got burned by that! Luck wasn't by our side this turn!

Watermelon got hurt by her burn at the end of the turn, but at least she got Leftovers to restore some health first!

To make our Blizzard strategy work better, we brough in Cloudberry and his Snow Warning!

With the snow going on the field, Watermelon's Blizzard managed to hit both of the targets!

Ice is one of the few types that are strong against Dragon! We did our research before the battle!

Dragonite took the hit just fine thanks to its Yache Berry, but Flygon couldn't withstand the cold and went down!

We had to slow down the damage we take by putting up Aurora Veil on our side!

Dragonite went for Ice Spinner on Watermelon, but she isn't weak to Ice either!

We must be careful about Watermelon's burn wearing her down too much!

Drayton sent in Kingdra next, and Watermelon immediately hit it with Knock Off!

Knock Off didn't do much damage, but it was useful removing Kingdra's Expert Belt!

Watermelon rampaged with another Blizzard and knocked Dragonite out! Kingdra, on the other hand, didn't really mind taking a Blizzard!

The weather got even more terrible with Kingdra hitting Watermelon with Hurricane!

Watermelon got to barely hang on, but she also got confused by the strong wind!

With Watermelon's Leftovers negating burn damage, she was still hanging tough, but not for long!

We also lost our Tailwind, which meant we would not go as fast anymore!

Oh! I didn't know Drayton likes Grass-type Pokemon as well! He sent out his Sceptile next!

Ouch! I was happy to see a Sceptile, but not when it used X-Scissor to knock Watermelon out!

Kingdra tried to blow Cloudberry with a Hurricane, but the hurricane didn't go through his snowstorm!

Cloudberry then unleashed a strong Blizzard and hit both of the opponents!

Good news was that Sceptile got frozen by the Blizzard!

Bad news was that Sceptile got a Weakness Policy to sharply boost its stats! It might get too dangerous!

We sent in Plum next! He is actually pretty good at dealing with dragons!

Sceptile was too frozen to use a move!

Kingdra changed the weather to rain! Cloudberry probably didn't like it that much!

Luckily for us, even without the snow going on, Cloudberry hit both his targets with Blizzard and knocked them both out!

With no target on the field, Plum didn't even need to use anything!

vs Drayton (2)

Drayton sent out his final two Pokemon, Archaludon and Haxorus!

Drayton showed us his true dragon power by Terastallizing Archaludon with the Dragon-type!

Haxorus also showcased its dragon power with a threatening Dragon Dance! We must be careful with it!

Archaludon blasted Cloudberry with Flash Cannon and took out a decent amount of his health!

Without the snow supporting us, Blizzard missed one of the targets and only hit Archaludon!

At least Blizzard did some good damage on Archaludon! Though we also rose its Defense through its Stamina ability!

Plum then landed a Moonblast on Haxorus! Dragon-type Pokemon are also weak to Fairy-type moves like this!

We lost our Aurora Veil, and we couldn't even put it up again thanks to the rain! We must finish things off before our opponents struck!

Haxorus unleashed its full power and used Iron Head on Cloudberry! Cloudberry went down, but he did a lot for the team already!

Archaludon then fired its Flash Cannon at Plum! But Plum got some decent defenses to take hits!

We were worried about Haxorus wreaking havoc after its Dragon Dance, so we had Plum use Moonblast to finish it off!

We sent in Quince next, and I had confidence in this pair to win us the battle!

Archaludon landed a boosted Dragon Pulse, and Plum was still hanging on!

Quince then blinded our foe with Dazzling Gleam and almost knocked it out!

That was just enough for Plum to follow things up with Moonblast!

Archaludon was knocked out and we were the victors!

Drayton is really a strong Trainer as we have heard, but we still managed to pull through with our power!

Drayton wanted to make me a full League Club member and we took a photo to commemorate our battle!

That's three of the Elite Four members taken care of, and we were going to the fourth battle next!

Drayton also gave us a TM for a move called Dragon Cheer! It seems to be a great move for Dragon-type Pokemon!

Our final Elite match would be against Crispin, which meant we need to prepare for Fire-type Pokemon!

I think Cherry would appreciate the new move, Dragon Cheer!

Crispin's Trial

If we want to conquer the entire League Club, we must challenge the final Elite Four member, Crispin!

Crispin seems to be a battle enthusiast, and he is eager for all sorts of Pokemon battles!

I guess he also heard of my abilities from Kieran and Drayton!

But before we got to challenge him, we must go through his Elite Trial by making a super spicy sandwich!

Honestly, I'm more worried about his health if he is going to eat something that is TOO spicy.

We were not allowed to use our own ingredients and must negotiate with other club members!

We do not really need to worry about making the sandwich if we get the right ingredients!

Our main job was to talk to different League Club members, and we already found someone with jalapenos!

We COULD buy jalapenos for BPs, but you know I would rather battle this trainer instead!

Watermelon and Melon would be really helpful for this trial! Let's try out this pair against Bellossom and Torkoal!

With so many Fire-type Pokemon around this place, Watermelon's Hydro Pump should be extra helpful!

Watermelon blasted Torkoal and knocked out in one hit with a critical hit! That's the spirit!

Bellossom used Sludge Bomb on Watermelon! But it shouldn't be poisonous anymore!

Melon then blasted Bellossom with Dragon Pulse, but Bellossom actually got some good defenses!

Watermelon also still had some Leftovers to give herself some health at the end of each turn!

I didn't know Grass-type Pokemon are so popular here! Maybe I should've brought Plum and Passionfruit with me as well!

Bellossom went for Sludge Bomb again on Watermelon and slowly wore her down!

Vileplume, on the other hand, had a more toxic Sludge Bomb and knocked Watermelon out!

Melon went for Dragon Pulse on Bellossom again and knocked it out with no problems!

We sent in Longan next for a double dragon pair, while the opposing side sent Magmar in!

Magmar hit both of our Pokemon with Heat Wave, but they weren't afraid of the heat as they were dragons!

Just like a regular dragon, Longan got to breathe fire and took out most of Vileplume's health!

Vileplume went for Sludge Bomb on Melon! Who knew Grass-on-Grass offense would be so brutal!

Longan then showed Magmar his true dragon spirit with Dragon Pulse! Magmar was fine taking that hit though!

Magmar then moved first and knocked Melon out with Psychic! I wasn't expecting it to use psychic power!

Longan then burned Vileplume with Flamethrower! Sorry, pal!

We then sent in Coconut, who should be well prepared for fighting Fire-type Pokemon as well!

Coconut quickly rounded off the battle with a super-effective Earth Power on Magmar!

We got our Jalapeno thanks to our hard work!

Time to Roar

To get more ingredients, we must defeat more trainers in Pokemon battles! I'm liking this Elite Trial a lot!

We went with Watermelon-Melon pairing again, while facing two Pyroar at once!

Hey, I don't think we are that boring! You don't need to be yawning already!

The other Pyroar went for Hyper Voice and damaged both of our Pokemon! They were still hanging on pretty well though!

Watermelon's Hydro Pump proved to be helpful again and knocked out one of the Pyroar in one hit!

Melon showed us how strong she is by Body Pressing the other Pyroar!

Pyroar pumped up the heat by overheating itself and Watermelon!

The Overheat hurt us a lot, but also hurt itself by lowering its own Special Attack!

Watermelon then finished things off with another Hydro Pump!

Cherry gained a few more heads and evolved into Hydrapple!

Hydrapple's head sometimes lined up with their thoughts and unleashed its full power with Fickle Beam!

One final battle before we actually needed to start making sandwich!

We led with the same pairing, this time against Eelektross and Camerupt!

Watermelon's Hydro Pump managed to take out Camerupt in one hit! You got to stay hydrated!

Eelektross went for Discharge, which isn't really a big concern for Grass-type Pokemon!

Melon splashed some Apple Acid on Eelektross and lowered its Special Defense!

Watermelon's Hydro Pump is not just used for Fire-type Pokemon! It can also handle eels!

We talked to everyone else and gathered all the ingredients! We should be ready to go!

Honestly, this sandwich is not my style, but to each their own, I guess.

We put all the spicy ingredients together and put some really spicy sauces on them! Let's see if Crispin likes the sandwich!

Not sure how Crispin swallowed that sandwich, but as long as we cleared the trial it was fine for me!

We went for the final Elite Four battle with this team!

Crispin is always eager for Pokemon battle, and I really like that about him!

He also noticed our awkward relationship with Kieran! It wasn't easy explaining that to him though ...

And I also do not know what Drayton is planning! But I guess he is just wishing the best for the Club!

But this was not the time for club member gossips! We were here for Pokemon battles!

We sent out Raspberry and Watermelon against Crispin's Talonflame and Rotom! He's a user of Fire-type Pokemon, and this would probably be a rough fight for us!

Watermelon started the battle by using Fake Out on Talonflame, but she got burned by Flame Body!

At least we prevented Talonflame from doing anything this round!

That gave Raspberry the perfect opportunity to set up Tailwind! The wind should be by our side today!

Rotom then burned Raspberry down with Overheat! Ouch!

At least Rotom lowered its own Special Attack with that, and it shouldn't be that threatening anymore!

Poor Raspberry didn't even need to get to do that much!

We sent in Starfruit next, who was holding her Cornerstone Mask!

With the power granted by her Cornerstone Mask, Starfruit easily knocked Talonflame out with Ivy Cudgel!

We naturally have a disadvantage against Crispin's team, so we must use type matches to help ourselves!

Watermelon then knocked off Rotom's Rocky Helmet, except she also got hurt by the Rocky Helmet in the process!

Rotom burned Starfruit with Will-O-Wisp! That was bad news for us since she would not be able to do that much damage after getting burned!

Crispin also has a Grass-type Pokemon on his team! I didn't expect him to use an Exeggutor!

Exeggutor used Protect immediately after getting sent out!

That stopped both of our moves, since both Starfruit and Watermelon were targeting Exeggutor!

Rotom used Overheat again! But it didn't do that much damage this time to Watermelon!

And Rotom lost even more Special Attack from that! It shouldn't be a big concern anymore!

We were equipped for this! Watermelon got some health back thanks to her Sitrus Berry!

Unfortunately, our Pokemon were also getting worn down by their burn!

Starfruit chopped Exeggutor's throat, but it unfortunately didn't do much damage!

Watermelon then knocked off Exeggutor's Sitrus Berry! That should make it easier to take down!

Rotom went for Hex on Starfruit, which hits stronger as Starfruit was already burned!

Exeggutor then absorbed sunlight to prepare for using Solar Beam!

We lost our Tailwind, and we didn't even manage to progress much! This was getting bad!

We needed to play safe, and thus we had Starfruit protect herself with Spiky Shield!

Rotom went for Hex on Watermelon, which still didn't do much since its Special Attack was lowered a lot already!

Watermelon went for Surf, and we finally started to do more damage, especially to Rotom! We didn't even hurt Starfruit since she was protecting herself!

Our strategy of protecting Starfruit worked particularly well, since we stopped Exeggutor's Solar Beam!

Starfruit then finished Rotom off with an Ivy Cudgel, even with her burn!

Unfortunately, Watermelon couldn't do much to Exeggutor, as Knock Off wouldn't be as strong anymore!

Meanwhile, Exeggutor was preparing for Solar Beam again by absorbing sunlight!

Crispin sent in his Camerupt next, and that was really scary for our team!

Starfruit went for Throat Chop on Exeggutor, and it was still not enough!

Watermelon then used Surf and did major damage to Camerupt! Starfruit was unfortunately worn down by that, and Exeggutor was barely hanging on!

Exeggutor blasted Solar Beam on Watermelon! I couldn't believe we lost a Pokemon to a Grass-type move!

Camerupt then followed up with Heat Wave and knocked out Starfruit as well! We lost both Pokemon in one round!

vs Crispin (2)

We were getting desperate and sent out Salal and Cantaloupe hoping for the best!

Exeggutor went for Protect again! This move is surprisingly useful in Double Battles!

Salal's Shadow Ball couldn't hit through Exeggutor's protection!

Cantaloupe went with brute force and hit everyone with Earthquake!

Except Exeggutor protected itself and Salal didn't take much damage! Camerupt, on the other hand, was cleanly defeated by that!

Crispin also didn't have many Pokemon left and sent Magmortar out next!

Protect is a helpful move, but Wide Guard is even better! Let's see if it can protect us from any moves!

Magmortar used Sunny Day and made the sunlight even stronger! That meant upcoming Fire-type moves would be even stronger!

Exeggutor finally got knocked out by Shadow Ball after protecting itself for so many times!

Crispin was down to his final Pokemon and sent out Blaziken! We must be careful as that is his strongest Pokemon!

Crispin heat up the battle by Terastallizing Blaziken into pure Fire-type!

Cantaloupe went for Wide Guard again to protect the team!

Wide Guard worked out well this time as Magmortar was trying to hit us with Heat Wave!

Blaziken showed us its full strength with Temper Flare boosted by its Tera Jewel!

Temper Flare cleanly knocked out Cantaloupe in one hit under the sun! That was some really bad temper!

Salal then hit Magmortar with Shadow Ball, but that didn't really do that much!

Blaziken then boosted its Speed with Speed Boost! It might be too fast for us to catch up!

Our final hope in this battle was Melon!

Blaziken went for its boosted Temper Flare again! It really was quick-tempered!

Salal got to barely hang on with tiny amount of health thanks to its Occa Berry!

Magmortar then followed up with Heat Wave! Even Melon took quite a lot despite her Thick Fat!

Well, Salal tried its best with the Occa Berry, but we couldn't use the berry again against the second move!

Melon used Iron Defense to boost her defense! But that might be a little bit too late ...

Blaziken was getting blazing fast with its Speed Boost!

Blaziken broke through Melon's Defense with its Focus Blast! That hurt a lot!

And then Melon was hit by Magmortar's strong Heat Wave! That was nothing we could do about that!

We were coldly defeated!

Losing does not put out my flames! Let's challenge Crispin one more time!

We led the battle with the same matchup! Raspberry and Watermelon battling Talonflame and Rotom!

Watermelon led with a Fake Out on Rotom! She got hurt by the Rocky Helmet, but it would surely be helpful to flinch Rotom!

We let Talonflame fly with attacks this time, and it was a huge mistake!

We lost Watermelon already on the first turn! This was a bad start!

At least Talonflame took some recoil damage! That should make it easier to take down!

That Talonflame is a little bit too fast for us! Raspberry set up Tailwind to outspeed the opposing team!

We sent in Starfruit next! She should be able to threaten Fire-type Pokemon pretty well!

Raspberry got to put on Light Screen this time! That should slow down the damage we take for several turns!

As we hoped! Starfruit crushed Talonflame with a powerful Ivy Cudgel!

We landed a critical hit, too! Even luck was on our side this time!

Rotom tried to bring Raspberry down with Overheat, but he took the hit this time thanks to Light Screen!

And we still got Rotom's Special Attack harshly lowered! It should not be that threatening with Overheat anymore!

Crispin sent out his Exeggutor again! It was annoying to battle against, but I won't complain about that!

Raspberry went for a more offensive approach and hit Exeggutor with a super-effective U-turn!

But more importantly, Raspberry retreated so that he might be sent out again for more support!

With Raspberry's swift U-turn, we sent out Cantaloupe to fill in the spot!

Starfruit went for Ivy Cudgel again and destroyed Rotom!

We got Rotom knocked out already! This was going smoother than last time!

Exeggutor aimed for Raspberry with its Psyshock, but hit Cantaloupe instead thanks to our switcheroo!

Camerupt was sent out next, and that was definitely a strong threat!

Exeggutor went for its usual tricks of using Protect! That was not great ...

Protect stopped Starfruit's attempt of Throat Chopping! To be fair, I don't think Exeggutor's throat would be easy to aim!

Cantaloupe went for Earthquake and of course Exeggutor protected itself again!

Earthquake damaged Starfruit a little, but it was worthwhile for taking down so much of Camerupt's health!

Camerupt then hit our team with a strong Heat Wave! Cantaloupe was still barely hanging on!

Our Tailwind was gone! We would not be going as fast anymore!

We finally got to hit Exeggutor with Throat Chop and almost knocked it out!

Exeggutor got to restore some of its health with its Sitrus Berry! That's what trees do, I guess!

Exeggutor went for Solar Beam, and thus it started absorbing sunlight!

Cantaloupe went for Rock Slide this time and got close to knocking out both of the Pokemon!

Camerupt went for Heat Wave again and finished Cantaloupe! Starfruit was also losing a lot of health!

Exeggutor went for a harvest and grew a Sitrus Berry! And it got more health immediately by eating another berry!

Well, Exeggutor can't be the only one having meals! We started a matcha party by sending out Salal to heal Starfruit!

Even with the recovered health, Exeggutor still couldn't take another Throat Chop and went down!

And Salal finished Camerupt with Shadow Ball! That was a clean double knock-out!

vs Crispin (4)

Crispin was down to his final two Pokemon, but also his strongest two Pokemon, Blaziken and Magmortar!

Yet again, Crispin Terastallized his Blaziken to further power it up!

We must protect Starfruit from any incoming attacks, so we had Salal catch everyone's attention with Rage Powder!

Magmortar is a really powerful Pokemon, so we removed it as soon as possible with an Ivy Cudgel!

Blaziken tried to use Focus Blast on Starfruit, but it was redirected to Salal's ghostly body and did nothing!

Though we must still be wary of Blaziken's boosting Speed!

Rage Powder worked so well last round, so we went for it again!

Blaziken actually wasn't going for Focus Blast this time, and instead unleashed its anger with Temper Flare!

With its move not working so well last round, Temper Flare seemed to be hotter than usual!

Salal still got to barely hang on, as its Occa Berry weakened the damage!

As revenge for her partner, Starfruit crushed Blaziken with a super effective Ivy Cudgel!

Victory was ours this time!

Well, Crispin put in all his efforts and that was a great battle!

I can see why Crispin was still worried, but everyone in the League Club battled well and had fun!

Anyways, we got our final BB League Elite Four member defeated!

We saw how strong Temper Flare is, and Crispin gave us a TM for that!

I will surely crank up the heat for the League Club, even though heating things up is not my style!

We were getting closer to becoming the BB League Champion, since we beat all the Elite Four members already!

Well, it sure took more than a blink, but we finally made it after all the battles!

We were then qualified to challenge the BB League Champion, our old pal Kieran!

Speaking of Kieran, he was actually just around! He was probably eager to battle me as well!

I guess I had both Drayton and Kieran following me all this time and I didn't even quite realize that!

We must battle Kieran in the Championship match! That's what we have been trying to do, after all!

The Champion Battle (1)

We registered for the Championship match which would then take place at the academy entrance!

Kieran and I are friends! Even though there seems to be some misunderstandings between us, I still believe so!

I mean, me too. I missed the old Kieran we met in the Kitakami land!

And he used to be genuinely into Pokemon battling too! Now he just felt different!

I really didn't like what Kieran was doing to other League Club members!

I guess everyone wants me to be the one to change Kieran!

Well, I'd gladly take up the responsibility! I will challenge Kieran for the title of the BB League Champion!

The whole academy was notified about this Championship match! I was getting pressured by that!

We finally got to face Kieran officially in a battle court!

Kieran had put in so much effort to become the Champion of the Blueberry Academy!

Kieran's main goal was to beat me as the Champion, and I must accept this challenge!

Our Championship battle started with Raspberry and Apricot against Dragonite and Politoed!

Politoed made it rain with Drizzle! I guess Kieran was using a rain-based strategy!

Apricot started the battle with a Fake Out on Politoed, as we don't know what it was planning!

Raspberry set up Tailwind and boosted Apricot's Attack! We had to rely on our classic strategy in this important fight!

Politoed flinched and couldn't do anything!

Dragonite blew Raspberry with a strong Hurricane! Jumpluff do travel with winds, but that was too strong of a wind!

But we were actually prepared for that! Raspberry hung on with its Focus Sash!

Just looking at the first round and we could already see how Kieran became even stronger now!

Well, our Focus Sash strategy wasn't that helpful since Dragonite finished Raspberry off with an Extreme Speed!

Raspberry went down without doing that much! Our plan wasn't working so well!

Apricot then sliced Politoed with her Leaf Blade! At least we got one of Kieran's Pokemon back!

This is a Champion match; we must take advantage of type matchups to win!

We sent in Lime, while Kieran sent in Incineroar!

Incineroar is a Fire-type Pokemon, and it was certainly very intimidating to see!

After Raspberry got down, we relied on Lime for Light Screen support!

Apricot then dropped a nasty Rock Slide on the opposing team! That was super effective for both of them!

Dragonite then struck Lime with a Hurricane! Fortunately, Lime could take that hit just fine!

But Incineroar then followed up with a Flare Blitz on Lime and finished it off!

That did so much damage even under the rain!

At least Incineroar took some recoil damage!

We sent in Cherry next and filled the field with Supersweet Syrup!

Our plan was to have Cherry protect herself while Apricot wreaks havoc!

Apricot was still providing steady damage with her Rock Slide!

Incineroar was a pretty bulky Pokemon, and it even got Sitrus Berry to heal itself! It was really difficult to take down!

Thanks to Protect, Cherry avoided an incoming Hurricane! That should buy us some time!

We also got to flinch Incineroar with Rock Slide! That was lucky!

We lost our Tailwind, and that might put us in a disadvantage! But we lost our only way of setting up Tailwind already!

Rock Slide had been so helpful in this battle, so of course we had Apricot use that again!

Dragonite went for Breaking Swipe this time and hit both of our Pokemon! Luckily, we didn't really take that much damage!

But Breaking Swipe lowered both Cherry and Apricot's Attack! Apricot had lost all her Attack boosts by now!

We got another flinch with Rock Slide for Incineroar! That was the only way to stop that beast from attacking!

We took that opportunity to take down Incineroar with Earth Power from Cherry!

Incineroar was a big threat, and I was relieved to see it go!

Politoed's rain was gone, and I wondered what Kieran would do without the rain!

Cherry was also holding Leftovers to restore her health at the end of each turn!

The Champion Battle (2)

Kieran sent in Porygon-Z next! That is also a powerful Pokemon!

As we feared, Porygon-Z demonstrated its power by knocking Cherry out in one hit with Ice Beam! That was cold!

Porygon-Z was also holding a Life Orb to boost its power!

Apricot then tried to slice Porygon-Z with Leaf Blade, but she had been weakened and couldn't do that much!

Well, I guess Kieran made a mistake here! Dragonite's Hurricane did nothing other than giving Apricot a free Attack boost!

We sent in our next defensive Pokemon, Plum! I always have faith in him!

The last thing I wanted to see was Porygon-Z using Hyper Beam! Poor Apricot taking that destruction!

Apricot definitely couldn't take that! But we could all agree she did a lot already in this fight!

Dragonite went for Breaking Swipe to damage and weaken Plum! At least Plum didn't really mind the Attack drop!

After so long, we finally took down Dragonite with Plum's Sludge Bomb! That was another Pokemon down on the opposing team!

We were down to our final Pokemon, Salal!

Kieran, on the other hand, still had a few Pokemon on his team and he sent in Grimmsnarl next!

Salal's Hospitality gave Plum some HP back! That was such a perfect timing for that!

Grimmsnarl is a support Pokemon that is useful at setting up Reflect screen, so I wasn't too surprised to see Kieran do that!

The one good thing about Porygon-Z's Hyper Beam was that it would need to recharge after using that move!

Salal made some hot matcha and threw at the opposing team!

Salal managed to burn both Grimmsnarl and Porygon-Z with Matcha Gotcha! Luck was really by our side!

Plum used Sludge Bomb and almost knocked Grimmsnarl out! But at least it was heavily worn down by that!

Both Grimmsnarl and Porygon-Z took damage from their burn! We must take advantage of this!

Grimmsnarl used Sucker Punch on Plum, and we honestly didn't see that coming!

And Porygon-Z used its Hyper Beam again and destroyed Plum!

We lost Plum! That meant we were down to having Salal only!

Good news was that Porygon-Z knocked itself out with the recoil damage from its Life Orb!

And Grimmsnarl went down from Salal's Matcha Gotcha!

Kieran was down to his final Pokemon as well! This battle was getting close!

Of course! Kieran's final Pokemon was his Dipplin, which is now a Hydrapple!

Kieran was getting desperate! He was going all-out for us!

Kieran Terastallized his Hydrapple into a Fighting-type! I wasn't quite ready for that!

We needed to go for offenses here, but Salal's Shadow Ball didn't do that much!

Kieran was really determined to win!

Hydrapple went for Fickle Beam, but Salal was still fine!

Oh no! We lost our Light Screen at the worst time!

Come on, Salal! Now was not the time to miss your Matcha Gotcha!

And with another Fickle Beam, Salal went down.

We lost our final Pokemon as well.

We were defeated. In the Championship match.

The Champion Battle (3)

Disclaimer: This was actually my third attempt battling Kieran. Let's just say I found out Extreme Speed goes before Rage Powder in an unhappy way.

We made some adjustments to the team for another try at the Championship match!

Most notably, we brought back Quince, who has the Calm nature now and a pair of Wise Glasses to boost his damage!

We challenged Kieran to another battle!

We both led with the same Pokemon and Politoed made it rain again with Drizzle!

But this time Apricot used Fake Out on Dragonite instead!

Raspberry then set up Light Screen first! We decided to play defensively this time!

Thanks to Light Screen, Apricot didn't take that much damage from Politoed's Ice Beam!

Apricot's Fake Out didn't do much damage, but it was useful to prevent Dragonite from doing anything!

On the next round, Politoed gave Dragonite a Helping Hand! Though I feel like Dragonite didn't really need that help to be scary!

We then set up Tailwind per usual and gave Apricot an Attack with Wind Rider!

With her new Attack boost, Apricot then dealt heavy damage to Politoed with Leaf Blade!

After being boosted by Politoed's Helping Hand, Dragonite unleashed its full power with Breaking Swipe!

That damage was unfortunate! What's worse was that it removed Apricot's Attack boost!

I guess that didn't really matter, since Dragonite followed things up with Extreme Speed to finish Apricot!

We lost our powerhouse Apricot already! We must adjust our strategy!

Raspberry then used Sleep Powder and put Dragonite to sleep! That should slow it down for a while!

Politoed then blasted Raspberry with an Ice Beam! That was too chilling for us!

In the same turn, we lost our second Pokemon already!

We sent in Plum and Lime to fill in the spots! I know we can trust these two and we must not lose hopes!

Lime first gave Politoed a zapping with Thunderbolt!

Even though Politoed had a Wacan Berry to weaken Thunderbolt, it was still more than enough to knock it out!

Plum targeted the sleeping dragon and blasted it with Moonblast!

Kieran then sent in Incineroar, which is pretty intimidating but that shouldn't affect Plum and Lime that much!

Incineroar asserted dominance by using Fake Out immediately!

Lime couldn't do anything after that! That messed up our plan, but things were still going to be fine for us!

Plum threw Sludge Bomb on Incineroar, which didn't poison it as we hoped but it was still steady damage!

After all this, Dragonite was still sleeping! Raspberry's Sleep Powder was really effective!

The rain stopped! That wasn't that great considering we were facing a Fire-type Pokemon on the field!

To make things worse, we lost both Light Screen and Tailwind! There went our offensive and defensive support at the same time!

But I still had faith in our Pokemon! Lime zapped Incineroar with Thunderbolt!

We also got lucky with the paralysis on Incineroar!

But then again, Incineroar got some health back with its Sitrus Berry!

Dragonite took a long nap, but it was finally time for it to wake up!

Without the rain around, Dragonite couldn't aim well with its Hurricane and missed Plum!

We were trying to double down on Incineroar with Plum's Sludge Bomb also aiming at it!

Luck WAS on our side! Incineroar couldn't move thanks to its paralysis!

We lost our Light Screen earlier, and naturally we put in back on again to slow things down!

Thanks to our Light Screen support, Plum got to tough it out and took Dragonite's Hurricane!

I think Plum might be too excited about that and he got a little confused!

Plum broke through his confusion and landed Sludge Bomb on Incineroar successfully!

We took out Incineroar before it managed to destroy our team! I felt a little more relieved after that!

Well, until we saw Porygon-Z entering the field!

Plum was already heavily weakened, and Dragonite cleaned things up with Extreme Speed!

Plum went down, but he also managed to spread some sleepy spores on Dragonite with his final breath!

And Porygon-Z went for its standard tricks of Hyper Beam for massive destruction!

We lost another Pokemon on the same turn! Things weren't going that well for us!

The Champion Battle (4)

We were down to our final two Pokemon, Salal and our Quince! I think we still got this!

I was here to show Kieran that I can change as well! And we Terastallized Quince to show that!

The opposing team didn't get to do that much as Porygon-Z needed to recharge while Dragonite was asleep again!

That gave Salal a wonderful opportunity to do damage with Matcha Gotcha!

We also gave Porygon-Z a burn with that! Things really were looking better for us!

With his Tera Jewel activated, Quince unleashed full power with his Energy Ball!

We removed Porygon-Z before it could start moving again!

Kieran then sent in his Grimmsnarl, just as we expected!

We weren't sure what Kieran was planning but we must protect Quince at all costs! We had Salal use Rage Powder to hog the attention!

Grimmsnarl put on a Reflect screen! That probably won't help them that much!

Dragonite was really sleepy and had not woken up yet!

Quince took that opportunity and shined with Dazzling Gleam, dealing super effective damage on both of the opposing Pokemon!

Yet again, Salal used Rage Powder to protect its teammate!

Grimmsnarl's Sucker Punch didn't work out, since Salal wasn't planning an attack!

And Dragonite was still asleep! Effect Spore was so helpful in this battle!

Quince blasted with Dazzling Gleam again and that was enough to take Dragonite out!

After staying for so long, Dragonite finally got to go!

Kieran was getting mad! He was down to his final two Pokemon as well!

As we already know, Kieran's ace Pokemon is his Hydrapple!

Just like last time, Kieran tried to change things up!

He Terastallized his Hydrapple into Fighting-type again!

Salal went for the safe play and protected itself! Let's see what Kieran was trying to do!

Grimmsnarl changed its strategy and went for Spirit Break!

Quince could take the hit just fine, but he had his Special Attack lowered from that! That was not very helpful!

But taking a hit meant Quince could activate his Seed Sower and turn the battlefield into Grassy Terrain!

Kieran was still so determined to win, but I think victory will be mine instead!

Hydrapple was aiming Salal for a powerful Fickle Beam, but it was protecting itself!

Since Quince was weakened by Spirit Break, his Dazzling Gleam wasn't that strong but still good enough to knock Grimmsnarl out!

With Kieran's fifth Pokemon gone, we had an advantage of 2-on-1 assault on Hydrapple!

Grassy Terrain gave Quince some healing, but we must be careful about it healing Hydrapple as well!

Salal blasted Shadow Ball on Hydrapple but it didn't actually do that much!

Time for us to demonstrate the true power of Grass-type Pokemon again!

Quince's Energy Ball did a little more thanks to the Grassy Terrain on the field!

Hydrapple used Fickle Beam and decided to go all out!

Fickle Beam was much stronger than usual, but Salal still got to hang on with a tiny amount of health left!

Salal took a lot, but it got to recover a little from its Leftovers!

We continued our offenses with Matcha Gotcha on Hydrapple!

Salal drained some of Hydrapple's energy and landed a burn as well! But I think those didn't really matter anymore!

We finished the battle with another Tera-boosted Energy Ball!

We beat Kieran. We are now the BB League Champion.

Thank you everyone who has shown support to me and to this Monotype Challenge. I was definitely not expecting to win a Smog Award just by playing through Scarlet with a Grass-type team of all things.
I chose to play through this game with a Monotype Challenge because I feel a lack of challenge in the recent Pokemon games, and I must say I really enjoy Monotype challenges after trying them out. Even though many Pokemon fans are not happy with how ScaVio perform, they are still my favourite games in the franchise, and I want to record down my journey with these games. That is the reason why I started this thread.
I am not good at words, and I do not know what to say so I guess I will give you guys some spoilers for what's to come! Here's hoping for a great 2024 in Orange Islands!

More Things to Worry About

We weren't expecting this after the Champion match, but Kieran didn't seem alright!

The audience had mixed reactions, with some people being excited and some people leaving bored!

Drayton wasn't acting too nice to Kieran, calling him an ex-Champion.

I guess he was just excited to see another BB League Champion in the Academy?

Our reward for conquering the League Club was a Master Ball! We were told all Champions would receive one of these!

Drayton encouraged Kieran to start having fun with Pokemon battles again.

But I don't think Kieran really listened to that! He was acting even more off after being defeated!

Lacey, on the other hand, had other worries about me becoming the Champion!

Our first problem was that I would not be able to uphold my Champion duties after I finished the exchanging programme!

Our second problem was that Kieran being lowered to an Elite Four member would push Crispin out as part of the Elite Four!

Amarys didn't say anything, but we know she was really worried about Kieran as well!

We heard an announcement for me, Kieran, Carmine and Drayton!

I wasn't sure why, but Ms. Briar wanted to see us along with some guests!

We immediately rushed to the classroom to see Ms. Briar! We were all curious what she wanted from us!

Ms. Briar heard the news of me becoming the Champion and congratulated me!

Right in front of Kieran ... Ms. Briar is a little more insensitive than I thought.

Ms. Briar then told us she was holding expedition to Area Zero, the place she has always wanted to visit!

Ms. Briar explained some details on the expedition and how it would help research on Terastallization.

She also mentioned the Legendary Pokemon, Terapagos, hidden in Area Zero! That immediately caught Kieran's attention!

I wasn't expecting La Primera and Miss Rika to appear, but they were here!

La Primera was also surprised to see me here! She was actually the mysterious guest Ms. Briar was talking about!

I was glad to get approved by La Primera about my new BB League Champion title! I've always wanted to show her how far I've gone!

La Primera then explained the reason why she asked Ms. Briar to study Area Zero! They seemed to be quite concerned with the incident involving Professor Sada!

The Blueberry Academy is most well-known for nurturing young talents with well-trained Pokemon! So it makes sense for her to invite students from the Blueberry Academy to help!

Of course I would like to join! I am probably more familiar with Area Zero than anyone else in the trip!

Carmine was also determined to go! I guess she wants to check out Area Zero too!

Drayton was more concerned about the League Club and declined Ms. Briar's offer!

Kieran also agreed to join, but he seemed to be interested about the Legendary Pokemon only!

It was then decided Carmine, Kieran and I would be the ones to join Ms. Briar! I have faith in Carmine and Kieran's battling skills!

After discussing about the Area Zero trip, we finally got to talk to La Primera and Miss Rika!

As a Paldean Champion, I was trying my best to show everyone how good Grass-type Pokemon are!

Miss Rika, on the other hand, wasn't that happy to see me, as we broke the rules by entering the Great Crater!

I had no excuses for that and apologized for our recklessness.

Miss Rika let us go eventually and La Primera actually gave me official permission to explore Area Zero now!

She also gave us an item called the Indigo Disk!

Even La Primera wasn't sure what the Indigo Disk really is, but it is certainly more than a TM or a storage device!

Finally, La Primera warned us the danger of Area Zero! As someone who witness the strength of Paradox Pokemon, I would definitely be cautious!

Back for More

After taking all the necessary items, we were ready to set off to Area Zero!

Kieran was still thinking about the Legendary Pokemon! I hope it won't turn into another Ogerpon situation!

Ms. Briar approved of Kieran's determination, and I wasn't sure if that is the correct reaction.

We quickly transported to Area Zero! This place doesn't look too different from last time we visited!

Kieran asked about my previous trip to Area Zero, and I was more than happy to retell our great memories with Arven, Nemona and Penny!

Oh! And with Koraidon as well! After all, this is the place Koraidon was first brought to in this world!

Ms. Briar really had done her research! She recognized Koraidon as the Pokemon first discovered in Area Zero!

Our expedition didn't stop here! Ms. Briar was trying to reach somewhere even deeper!

According to Ms. Briar's copy of the Scarlet Book, there IS somewhere deeper below Area Zero! We weren't noticed of that before!

Area Zero is more or less the same with all sorts of Paradox Pokemon running around!

We finally reached the Zero Lab, which is the deepest place in Area Zero we found in the last trip!

Ms. Briar believed that there is a lower level in the Zero Lab! If that is the case, we must enter the Zero Lab!

But opening the gate to the Zero Lab wasn't that easy! It involved a lot of steps and unleashed some dangerous Pokemon!

Something about Kieran saying Wowzers reminded me of his past self! I hope that means he is getting closer to the Kieran we met in Kitakami!

This time around, we couldn't access the Zero Lab as the entrance has been locked!

I guess the gate wouldn't open, since the AI Professor Sada had already left this place!

The panel suddenly started talking and mentioned the Indigo Disk!

It seemed like the Indigo Disk La Primera gave us might be useful here already!

We inserted the Indigo Disk, and the panel allowed us to enter the Zero Lab!

Time for us to explore the Zero Lab again! Let's hope things don't go as catastrophic this time!

Deep Secret

We were back to the Zero Lab, and it was much emptier this time!

Carmine also noticed how Kieran has been acting more like his usual self!

Ms. Briar was even more excited than we were and just rummaged through Professor Sada's notes!

Ms. Briar got even more excited seeing the elevator! I wasn't sure if we should bring up the time machine, but she was determined to take the elevator down!

And of course, we accompanied Ms. Briar to go down! Though something felt off ...

The elevator definitely didn't move this fast last time! And it was making me dizzy!

In fact, I was quite sure we weren't headed the same place! Seems like the elevator was redirected by the Indigo Disk, as noted by Kieran and Carmine!

As I suspected, we came out of the elevator at somewhere I've never been before!

We reached somewhere far deeper than we expected! This might be the place Ms. Briar was trying to find!

We were surprised to see Professor Sada's stuff even down this place! I guess she had also been to this place before!

Professor Sada's notes mention Terapagos, the Legendary Pokemon, and something about a Stellar type!

This confirms the existence of the mysterious Terapagos, which meant there must be more for us to discover in Area Zero!

Kieran was also eager to find Terapagos, and wanted us to hurry up! I guess we must go further in!

Carmine reminded us Area Zero is a dangerous place and we must not be reckless!

Terapagos was supposed to be slumbering in the form of crystal and we found numerous crystals in this place!

One of the giant crystals was even blocking our way and prevented us from going further!

Carmine raised a good point about Koraidon probably being able to smash through with its Dashing ability!

Ms. Briar immediately stopped us, saying we do not know what might happen!

Right when we were feeling stumped about the giant crystal, we noticed a Glimmora that seemed to be glowing in strange lights!
